See you.

0:00:010:00:01

Hi, I'm Ayshah, it's Monday morning and here's what's

0:00:040:00:06

coming up on Newsround.

0:00:060:00:07

Why Snapchat Streak is not just fun and games.

0:00:070:00:09

And the surfer making a comeback.

0:00:090:00:15

First, Match Of The Day Kickabout bought you the scores,

0:00:220:00:24

and here are the goals.

0:00:240:00:26

First to the thrilling clash between Premier League giants

0:00:260:00:28

Manchester City and Liverpool.

0:00:280:00:31

Both sides attacked and attacked, with Liverpool scoring first

0:00:310:00:33

with this penalty from James Milner.

0:00:330:00:36

But star striker Sergio Aguero hit back to level the match

0:00:360:00:39

for Man City, which finished 1-1.

0:00:390:00:43

City remain third in the league and manager Pep Guardiola seemed

0:00:430:00:46

pretty happy with the performance.

0:00:460:00:50

It's one of the most special days of my life,

0:00:500:00:52

because after defeat on Tuesday, Wednesday, it was so tough for us,

0:00:520:00:57

and how we recovered today and with this mentality to play

0:00:570:01:00

and attack and attack, we could not attack more

0:01:000:01:02

often because Liverpool is a top, top team.

0:01:020:01:04

I want to stay with the guys until a long, long time.

0:01:040:01:07

I don't want to change actually anything in terms of the club,

0:01:070:01:10

I want to stay here, help this club to

0:01:100:01:12

make a step forward.

0:01:120:01:16

Things didn't go so well for Middlesbrough goalkeeper

0:01:160:01:18

Victor Valdes, though.

0:01:180:01:19

Take a look at this.

0:01:190:01:22

The Spanish goalie slipped and fell over, allowing

0:01:250:01:27

Man United's Antonio Valencia to run by and score.

0:01:270:01:31

United won the match 3-1 and have moved up to fifth

0:01:310:01:34

in the league table, while Middlesbrough

0:01:340:01:37

are down in 19th place.

0:01:370:01:41

Next to a story that's got a lot of you talking.

0:01:410:01:43

Social media is meant to be fun, and a great way to keep

0:01:430:01:46

in touch with your mates.

0:01:460:01:48

But for some children it can be really stressful, too.

0:01:480:01:50

The children's charity the NSPCC have told us that young people

0:01:500:01:53

are getting worried about Snapchat Streaks.

0:01:530:01:54

Ricky's got the details.

0:01:540:01:57

Funny filters, face-swap, and those silly ears.

0:01:570:02:02

Snapchat is now one of the most popular social media

0:02:020:02:04

apps for young people.

0:02:040:02:07

The team behind it claim 25% of smartphone users in the UK have

0:02:070:02:11

downloaded Snapchat, and in the last two years for some

0:02:110:02:13

of you it's become part of your daily routine,

0:02:130:02:16

especially when it comes to Snapchat Streaks.

0:02:160:02:21

In case you didn't know, a Snapchat Streak is when you send

0:02:210:02:24

a snap back and forth to your mates within a 24-hour window.

0:02:240:02:28

To keep it going, you have to send a snap every day.

0:02:280:02:31

The longer your Streak, the more rewards you get.

0:02:310:02:35

But when a Streak suddenly comes to an end, it can

0:02:350:02:38

cause big problems.

0:02:380:02:39

The children's charity the NSPCC told Newsround that they'd received

0:02:390:02:42

a number of calls from young people who'd been really upset or even

0:02:420:02:45

fallen out with their mates because their Snap Streaks ended.

0:02:450:02:52

We've had some calls from children who are worried about Snap Streaks.

0:02:520:02:55

There was one girl who called us, she couldn't get onto Wi-Fi that day

0:02:550:02:59

so she couldn't continue the Snap Streak and that

0:02:590:03:01

made her so worried, there would be bullying and people

0:03:010:03:05

would think she didn't like them any more.

0:03:050:03:07

And it's something that's got lots of you talking, too.

0:03:070:03:10

Maybe one day you forget to do your Streak and then

0:03:100:03:12

you could get annoyed about it.

0:03:120:03:15

Some people get up to maybe 600, and if you've lost that

0:03:150:03:18

Snapchat Streak then you're pretty upset, because all those

0:03:180:03:23

days just for nothing.

0:03:230:03:25

I forgot once and then the person got really cross with me.

0:03:250:03:27

You could get in fights with your friends, saying,

0:03:270:03:29

"Why did you not send me one back," or something like that.

0:03:290:03:32

You try really hard to keep it, and it takes quite a few days

0:03:320:03:36

to try and start it, and then when you lose it

0:03:360:03:38

it's really annoying.

0:03:380:03:42

I tried a Snapchat Streak with my dad, I got to about 30

0:03:420:03:45

and then my dad forgot to do one.

0:03:450:03:47

I didn't get angry at him, because everyone makes mistakes.

0:03:470:03:50

We reached out to Snapchat to find out what they thought

0:03:500:03:52

about all this, but they didn't want to comment.

0:03:520:03:54

Snapchat Streaks can be a really fun way of creating a friendship,

0:03:540:03:57

but it shouldn't be a true picture of friendship.

0:03:570:03:59

It can also create bullying and friendship issues,

0:03:590:04:01

you can fall out over a Snapchat Streak, so it is really

0:04:010:04:04

important to think carefully, to use it safely, to have fun,

0:04:040:04:07

and remember it's not a true picture of friendship.

0:04:070:04:13

Congratulations to Britain's Slopestyle skiers

0:04:130:04:15

James Woods and Isabel Atkins!

0:04:150:04:17

That's Isabel on the slopes there.

0:04:170:04:19

They both came away with bronze medals at

0:04:190:04:21

the World Championships in Spain.

0:04:210:04:24

Finally to an amazing comeback for this surfer.

0:04:240:04:27

Owen Wright suffered a terrible head injury less than two years ago

0:04:270:04:30

after trying to surf one of the world's most

0:04:300:04:33

dangerous waves in Hawaii.

0:04:330:04:35

But he's recovered, and has just won the first

0:04:350:04:38

competition of this year's World Surf League's

0:04:380:04:39

Championship Tour in Australia.

0:04:390:04:42

Wright said his win was a huge surprise for him.

0:04:420:04:46
