Good afternoon! Martin here with your Friday afternoon Newsround on

Sport Relief day but as well as all the stars doing incredible things to

raise money, you guys have been doing your bit too. I am in

Manchester where they are getting their dance on for sport relief.

So there's just three hours to go until tonight's Sport Relief. This

year the charity's hoping to smash its record total of ?50 million.

They've had plenty of help along the way from Davina McCall's epic 500

mile trip from Edinburgh to London to Alex Jones's scary cliff climb.

All day you guys have been telling us how you've been raising money

too. But there is a serious side - all the money goes to help some of

the poorest people around the world and back home too. Leah spent the

afternoon with kids in Manchester doing their bit for charity So what

else have you lot been up to? Yes, the fundraising is in full swing.

Kids up-and-downer country have been busy. On the website people are

doing things like cake baking, sponsored runs and here is no

different. These guys have to dance for as long as possible. They want

to raise as much money as possible. Guys, how is it going? Really well.

A lot of fun. Why is it important? It is important because we are

helping other countries and the local community. High-5 from me. How

much will you raise? ?150. Fantastic. You get back to the

dancing. Look at this. There is also a skipping event. They are hoping to

raise as much money as possible. I couldn't leave without taking part

myself. Back to the studio. Don't laugh!

Brilliant. Hundreds of you have been in touch and Ricky's Sport Relief

challenge was to try and get through them all.

We have had loads of comments telling as what you have been

getting up to for sport relief. I have drafted in some help. Are you

ready? Alexandra says they are doing a

scooped. Over to you. They are dressing up in pyjamas or sports

clothes and the class are running a mile blindfolded. That's impressive.

And swimming, running and cycling all around the town. Any e-mails?

Kids from all over the UK are getting involved. A school in Luton

went for a walk around the building, all 450 children, dogs, flowers and

birds. A quick round-up the day's other news now and what a draw for

the Champions League quarterfinals! Chelsea and Manchester United are

the only English clubs left in the competition. Jose Mourinho's men

will play Paris St Germain, whilst Man United have a tough draw against

the current champions Bayern Munich. Spanish champions Barcelona play La

Liga rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid meet Borussia Dortmund.

And a zoo in America has three new arrivals to its colony of Humboldt

penguins. The wee chicks were born last week and are the first

hatchlings of the year for the zoo. Their keepers say they're doing very

well and eating plenty of food. That's all from me, Newsround's back
