Good morning and welcome to Newsround with me Martin.

Let's start in Paris, France, where it's been a week since the city

Islamic State, but since then the people around the world have come

Jenny has been there and spoke to kids from an international school

in Paris about how what's happened has made them feel.

I was in my apartment when it happens, so I heard noises and I

turned on the news right away to check what was happening. More than

100 people called us to check that it was fine. The streets of Paris

were empty. The Metro was empty and there was military everywhere. What

has life been like being back at school? The first thing I said on

Monday to everyone is, I am happy to see you. Some of my friends have

lost important people in their lives because of the situation that

happened, so we just tell them that everything is going to be fine. The

teachers told us to move on and try to keep going. Even though the

students here are still upset, they told me they are positive about the

city's future. I am sure it is probably going to recover, but it is

going to need some time. When that kind of big event happens, after a

wild, everyone gets better, and the right thing to do now is just keep

going. Paris is really strong, and no matter what is done at the city,

it is going to come back and be even more vibrant as ever.
