Good morning footie fans, and what a great weekend of FA Cup

Blackburn took a surprise lead against West Ham with this cracker

from Ben Marshall, but were blown away by five goals from the Irons.

Reading are into the quarterfinals after they beat West Brom 3-1

But there was to be no giant-killing for the mighty Leeds,

Manuel Pellegrini put out a very inexperienced side against Chelsea

and Man City were soundly hammered 5-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal will have to travel to Hull in a replay as they drew 0-0

And under-pressure Man United manager Louis van Gaal

takes his side to Shrewsbury tonight.

The dogs' home re-opening after a big fire.

First this morning, the 16-strong team at the Winter Youth Games

in Norway are on their way home with five medals.

It all kicked off last week when Madi Rowlands won a gold

Not only was it a first for Madi but it was a first

for Great Britain, because never in Olympic history has an adult

an adult or a youth won a gold on snow.

But it didn't stop there for Maddie - she performed in the slopestyle,

The judges then awarded her a bronze medal for her grace and poise.

I'm so happy, because I didn't expect a place!

You've got a bronze medal to add to your gold model.

You are going home with two medals, can you believe it?

Did you expect it from this competition?

No, because practice wasn't too good for me.

But I'm happy, so everything is fine!

Next up was the skeleton, Ashleigh Pitaway, the youngest

member of the team, managed to speed past me and she beat all the other

females in her event and was quicker than a lot of the men.

She then bought home our second gold medal.

You've just won gold for Great Britain, how does it feel?

Amazing, I'm just blown away by everything.

So many people came to watch, and it's just amazing,

Yesterday we saw the mono bob, a new sport at the Olympics.

Britain had four contenders, three of them females,

and remarkably they came in placed third, fourth and fifth.

Kelsey Perchill picked up the bronze medal,

I spoke to her yesterday, she was blown away.

I feel ecstatic, it was amazing, the whole experience was brilliant

And can you believe it, we have had more success

for Team GB today, they got through to

the finals of the mixed curling along with their team-mates China,

and they just received a silver medal.

It's amazing, just managing to stand up on the podium for Team GB,

A massive clean-up operation has begun in Fiji after the most severe

Next, Manchester Dogs Home is re-opening in a few hours' time,

more than a year after a big fire destroyed its buildings.

People have donated more than ?1 million to the adoption

These dogs are getting comfy in their new home.

And the newly-reopened centre is better than ever.

Each kennel has glass windows and doors, and each dog

The kennels even have underfloor heating to keep them warm.

The one thing that we've really missed out on over the last 12

months has been an adoption centre here, so to have the new kennels

here and to have such wonderful kennels here is going to mean

that we can get people back onto the site and start doing

So far there are around 20 dogs living in the home,

with other parts of the centre to reopen later this year.

But although these dogs have a nice and comfy place to live now,

Steve says the best place for them is with a new owner in their home.
