They often look the same as proper ones, but are dangerous because | :00:59. | :01:04.
The team say you should only use ones with a manufacturer's logo | :01:05. | :01:09.
We are getting really concerned about electric chargers. There are | :01:10. | :01:20.
so many coming into the UK at the moment. | :01:21. | :01:27.
Thousands of children in the UK are deaf, which means they | :01:28. | :01:30.
Many of them use sign language to talk to their family and friends. | :01:31. | :01:35.
But for some of them there is the possibility of using special ear | :01:36. | :01:39.
I've been to meet a girl called Sula, who is having those implants, | :01:40. | :01:44.
Sula is very much like any other 11-year-old. She enjoys reading, | :01:45. | :01:59.
drawing and listening to music. What are some of your paper at songs? | :02:00. | :02:08.
Sula has been deaf since she was a baby, but she has been able to | :02:09. | :02:13.
listen to sign using hearing aids. Recently, her hearing has started to | :02:14. | :02:19.
get worse so she decided to get some in called Cochlear implants. If you | :02:20. | :02:23.
have a hearing problem, one part of the year that might not work is the | :02:24. | :02:28.
Cochlear. An implant is a small device that is under the skin above | :02:29. | :02:33.
the ear. I have pieces worn on the outside and works like a microphone | :02:34. | :02:36.
to pick up signs which are turned into electrical thing also. These | :02:37. | :02:40.
are sent to the implants and from there they go down the inner ear and | :02:41. | :02:46.
up to the brain. Not everyone in the deaf community thinks they are a | :02:47. | :02:49.
good idea. Something like a hearing he had or an implant takeaway there | :02:50. | :02:57.
identity as being a deaf person. Our role is to provide information to | :02:58. | :03:01.
people can make an informed choice about whether an implant is the | :03:02. | :03:06.
option for them. Sula has had to wait five weeks after her operation | :03:07. | :03:08.
before her implants could be switched on. What are you most | :03:09. | :03:10.
looking forward to? Bringing Sula back into a world | :03:11. | :03:25.
where she can gossip and lap of her friends, that is what we are looking | :03:26. | :03:27.
forward to the most. Join us back at 8.15am, | :03:28. | :03:31.
when we'll be following Sula as she heads to hospital to have | :03:32. | :03:34.
her cochlear implants switched Next to plans to use rivers | :03:35. | :03:37.
to heat houses, including From today, | :03:38. | :03:43.
it's being used to test whether the warmth from pipes in the seas | :03:44. | :03:47.
and rivers could be used instead It works using technology | :03:48. | :03:51.
similar to powering a fridge. People making buildings will soon be | :03:52. | :03:57.
able to access a map telling them But it won't be something | :03:58. | :04:01.
all houses can use. For a typical UK household, heat | :04:02. | :04:11.
pumps are not the highest priority. But if you live off the main grades | :04:12. | :04:16.
or already live in a very well insulated house, this could be of | :04:17. | :04:20.
technology for you. With more and more energy from renewable sources, | :04:21. | :04:25.
heat pumps will play a major role in our energy future. | :04:26. | :04:28.

help solve the mystery of whether or not it could really fly. | :04:41. | :04:44.
Only 12 of these curious creatures have ever been found. | :04:45. | :04:48.
