royal baby is on its way. We have all the latest live from London

So, first up, you'd have had to be living on the moon to miss the news

that's got everybody talking and they're talking about one little

thing. The wait for the royal heir is almost over. The Duchess of

Cambridge has gone into labour. That's right. It's the royal baby.

Early this morning photographers spotted a car at St Mary's Hospital

in London and the news broke that the Duchess of Cambridge had gone

into hospital to have her baby. Very exciting stuff. Joe is at that

hospital for us with the latest. Hi. I've never seen anything quite

like. This there are people everywhere. Behind me in this press

pen there are dozens of camera crews from all over the world who are

waiting for news that that baby is going to be born. Some of them have

been here for weeks and waiting for the shot of Kate and William here

with their baby. There are fans here as well. Amy is 13 and from

Newcastle. She has been here since Saturday. How long have you been

here? Since Saturday.What is it about the royal baby that makes you

want to stay in a tent in London in the heat? Me and my mum are big fans

of the Royal Family. We're both -- we both really wanted to see the

baby. What happens now, yeah, you guessed it, more waiting. What we're

expecting is that someone will walk of that building with a very

important piece of paper. This piece of paper has important information

that will be driven by police escort all the way to Buckingham Palace.

Just like for Prince William, it will be displayed on a very posh

frame indeed. Those details will be when the baby was born, how much it

weighed and importantly, whether it's a boy or girl. Until then,

we're all going to be waiting for that big moment and we'll bring you

the news on Newsround. We ill indeed. -- we will indeed. We

are on tenter hooks. We're moving on because we're building up to another

big celebration this weekend, the first anniversary of the London 2012

Olympics. All week I'll meet some of the Games' biggest names. First a

man at the sevener to of super Saturday.

-- centre of super Saturday. London 2012, a summer we will never

forget. The evening of super Saturday was memorable for three

champion. Mo Farah for Great Britain and it's gold! Conail Rutherford --

Gregg Rutherford leads at the moment. It's big. Was it like as you

walked into the Olympic Stadium? It's something that still, to this

day, brings goose bumps and everything else. I walked through

into the stadium and they showed my picture up on the screen. The crowd

just went berserk. They just screamed. 99% of them didn't know

who I was. When we stepped on the runway the crowd got louder and

louder for every step we took. I was hurtling down the runway and all of

a sudden I could feel the crowd, like they were shouting that loud, I

could feel it hitting me. It was reverberating around my chest.

the Olympic champion! Oh, my goodness.

To this day, I can't put it into words. It was every single emotion

I'd ever felt. I didn't know whether to run into the crowd or run around

the track screaming or cry, laugh, I didn't know what to do. What was it

like then to become one of us and to watch Mo Farah do what he did?

was that one moment when I had the chance to experience what it was

like to really watch and on sosh it and enjoy it with the crowd --

absorb it and do it with the crowd. What a way to finish off the night.

Finally, as today is the hottest day of the year, for some of us, here's

a tip from China on how to keep cool. 100 people started a massive

water fight as temperatures hit more than 30 Celsius over there. We beat

that, 34 over here in London! A very good way to keep cool. That is us.
