Hello, guys, Leah here with your Saturday Newsround.

0:00:050:00:07

Keep watching because...

0:00:070:00:08

It's Strictly Saturday and Ore's hot but Brendan's not.

0:00:080:00:10

After dancing celebs, we'll meet these dancing robots.

0:00:100:00:13

And the three heroes helping hedgehogs.

0:00:130:00:22

First up, we're already getting excited for week five

0:00:290:00:31

of Strictly Come Dancing tonight, but professional dancer Brendan Cole

0:00:310:00:33

won't be taking part.

0:00:330:00:36

He's missed training all week as he's been ill.

0:00:360:00:39

His celebrity partner Anastasia has been practising

0:00:390:00:41

with Tameka's ex-professional, Gorka.

0:00:410:00:42

And now he'll step in on the live show too.

0:00:420:00:44

Now, not that we have ANY favourites on this show - but last week's big

0:00:440:00:48

star was Ex-Newsround presenter Ore Oduba who has surprised us

0:00:480:00:50

all with his moves.

0:00:500:00:52

Ore's busy with practice but he managed to send us this.

0:00:520:01:00

Hi, Newsround.

0:01:000:01:02

It's Ore and...

0:01:020:01:03

Jo!

0:01:030:01:04

You might recognise this girl from Saturday night.

0:01:040:01:06

We are rehearsal day.

0:01:060:01:07

Believe it or not, there is a lot of work that

0:01:070:01:10

goes into this show, of course, but you also

0:01:100:01:12

need to rehearse...

0:01:120:01:17

Where to stand.

0:01:170:01:18

Standing and walking down stairs, these stairs behind us, we

0:01:180:01:20

had to practice walking down them.

0:01:200:01:22

Jo and I are dancing waltz this week which is very different to what

0:01:220:01:26

we did last week, the jive.

0:01:260:01:28

And to get, what did we get last week, Jo?

0:01:280:01:30

39.

0:01:300:01:33

We got 39.

0:01:330:01:34

We got 39!

0:01:340:01:37

Biggest score in week four in the history of Strictly.

0:01:370:01:40

Wow.

0:01:400:01:43

Shush, don't tell anyone.

0:01:430:01:45

Which is amazing, we had the best time last week and

0:01:450:01:47

hopefully we'll have another great week but thank

0:01:470:01:49

you for all your support.

0:01:490:01:50

We will see you Saturday night, BBC One,

0:01:500:01:52

hope we'll be back for another week.

0:01:520:01:54

Bye!

0:01:540:02:02

It's been a topsy turvy day three in England's third test

0:02:020:02:04

against Sri Lanka in Bangladesh.

0:02:040:02:07

After taking four wickets for 21 runs this morning,

0:02:070:02:10

England looked to be in a very strong position but Sri Lanka

0:02:100:02:14

hit back taking five wickets in 27 overs.

0:02:140:02:17

England have now steadied the ship somewhat and finished the day on 228

0:02:170:02:20

for eight which gives them a lead of 273 over Bangladesh.

0:02:200:02:29

Now to the last generation of robots being show off in Beijing in China.

0:02:290:02:32

This is the World Robot Conference where all types of robots

0:02:320:02:35

were being shown off - lots of people were interested

0:02:350:02:42

in this bird robot which looks pretty real.

0:02:420:02:44

But the dancing mini robots massively entertained visitors.

0:02:440:02:46

The designer says they could be used in classrooms

0:02:460:02:48

to help children learn.

0:02:480:02:52

And from the brand new, to the really old imagine owning

0:02:520:02:54

a key from the Titanic!

0:02:540:03:04

?30,000.

0:03:070:03:08

It's believed the key was used to open a life

0:03:080:03:10

jacket cupboard to save lives as the ship sank in 1912.

0:03:100:03:13

The key is part of one of the largest sales of Titanic

0:03:130:03:16

items in recent years.

0:03:160:03:17

Now when was the last time you saw a hedgehog?

0:03:170:03:19

Last week?

0:03:190:03:20

Last month?

0:03:200:03:21

EVER?

0:03:210:03:22

Well, research carried out by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust has

0:03:220:03:24

found there has been a huge drop in the number of

0:03:240:03:27

hedgehogs in the UK.

0:03:270:03:28

Martin has been investigating.

0:03:280:03:29

Hedgehogs.

0:03:290:03:30

They're cute and prickly, but life in busy towns and cities

0:03:300:03:33

can present some real dangers for our spiky friends.

0:03:330:03:35

So what's being done to help them?

0:03:350:03:37

Sanctuaries like this one just go to show the problems these little

0:03:370:03:40

guys face in the big wide world.

0:03:400:03:41

Anne has about 80 to 90 hedgehogs here, all tucked up safe and warm.

0:03:410:03:44

They come from various sources.

0:03:440:03:46

They're usually found by people who bring them to us.

0:03:460:03:48

We have abandoned babies.

0:03:480:03:49

Babies that have wandered off on there own and got lost.

0:03:490:03:52

Injuries through strimmers and netting and other road accidents.

0:03:520:03:54

We also have the sick ones that are found lying in people's

0:03:540:03:57

gardens, obviously unwell.

0:03:570:03:58

We try and get them up to weight as soon as possible.

0:03:580:04:01

And then we release them.

0:04:010:04:02

25-year-old Ali is the youngest hedgehog officer in the UK,

0:04:020:04:04

and it's her job to link up these areas of green space,

0:04:040:04:07

to give hedgehogs the chance to move around freely and safely

0:04:070:04:10

when they come out at night to feed.

0:04:100:04:20

We've obviously got lots of great parks across the town.

0:04:240:04:26

But also lots of houses and fences and walls,

0:04:260:04:28

making it difficult for them to get in between these great habitats.

0:04:280:04:31

We are trying to get volunteers on board who will manage

0:04:310:04:34

their gardens for the hedgehogs, and will hopefully persuade

0:04:340:04:36

their neighbours to do the same.

0:04:360:04:38

So we have these whole streets of connected gardens

0:04:380:04:40

that hedgehogs will be able to easily navigate their way through.

0:04:400:04:46

We've got a hole down here so they can get

0:04:460:04:49

through to the other gardens.

0:04:490:04:56

Ten-year-old Daisy is one of the many people from across

0:04:560:04:58

the UK who are doing their bit to help the hedgehogs.

0:04:580:05:01

It's important to take care of hedgehogs because they are

0:05:010:05:04

endangered and I want them to be around when I'm older.

0:05:040:05:07

I've been making it somewhere that's the hedgehogs can come and live in,

0:05:070:05:14

stay and get some food and hibernate.

0:05:140:05:19

For example, I've made some houses, and I give them water and give

0:05:190:05:25

them food and mealworms.

0:05:250:05:28

Anyone my age that wants to do it, I'd say, yes, they can do it

0:05:280:05:32

because the more help that we have, the more hedgehogs there will be.

0:05:320:05:38

And finally scientists in Canada say they've capture rare

0:05:380:05:40

footage of a bowhead whale, one of the country's

0:05:400:05:42

largest marine mammals.

0:05:420:05:44

They used HD drone technology to help get researchers

0:05:440:05:47

closer to the creatures to understand their food and travel

0:05:470:05:50

habits in the Arctic Circle where they live.

0:05:500:05:53

That's all from me, I'll be back tomorrow morning at ten

0:05:530:05:56

with your Sunday Newsround.

0:05:560:05:57

Have a great afternoon!
