Hi, guys, Ayshah here with all the latest from the Newsround team. On

the way: We see how they're preparing for the Glasgow

Commonwealth Games on the other side of the world.

Plus the sculpture that's got more to it than meets the eye. This is

Newsround! First, though, to Ukraine in Eastern

Europe, where there's been more violent protests overnight. Some

people there are angry at the government for refusing to join the

European Union, something they think could make their lives better.

Protest leaders told crowds they would go on the attack again if the

country's president didn't start listening. Yesterday two people died

in clashes with police. Next, details of more cuts to

Britain's armed forces will be announced later today with 1,400

soldiers expected to lose their jobs. It's the fourth round of cuts

by the Government, who want to reduce the number of soldiers from

102,000 to just over 80,000. Moving on, the biggest names in TV

were out in force last night. Ant and Dec were the biggest winners at

the National Television Awards, but there were also prizes for some of

your other favourite shows. It was a star-studded celebration at

the O2 Arena last night. Everybody's favourite Time Lord

scooped two awards. The time travelling adventure show picked up

the best drama prize, and Matt Smith won an award for best drama

performance. The shill -- show is still going strong after 50 years. I

know. It still seems to be taking off like a rocket. It is an

incredible thing, 50 years on. It is very special. Strictly won the prize

for best talent show. And it was a bumper night for a -- Ant and Dec.

They won best entertainers for 13th year in a row. And you can get a

full rundown of the big winners from the National TV awards in our

picture gallery on the web. It's just six months to go before

the start of the Commonwealth Games. The Queen's Baton Relay has been

making its way to all the nations and territories of the Commonwealth

in the build up. BBC Presenter Mark Beaumont has been following the

baton on its journey. Today he's joining us from number 30 on that

route, the Seychelles, a group of islands in the Indian Ocean.

Our people excited by the games in the Seychelles? Absolutely. The

reception has been fantastic, as it has been everywhere I have been on

this exciting journey around the Commonwealth. Yesterday the bats and

went around the capital island here to tens of schools. This morning it

went scuba-diving. It was taken underneath the water. I am with

Felicity, 14-year-old swimmer who is coming to Glasgow this summer. First

of all, what was it like to carry the Batten? I was really excited and

proud to represent my country. The crowd was just cheering and going

wild. They were, it was not. What is it like to represent... It seems we

have a little bit of trouble on that line, which is such a shame. Oh,

sorry about that. I apologise. Good stuff from Mark but hopefully we can

hear from him later in the journey. In football, Manchester United might

be on the verge of signing Juan Mata from Chelsea but on the pitch their

troubles continued last night. They lost the second leg of their league

cup semifinal to Sunderland on penalties. It was an incredible

story. You could make a book out of the game today. For the fans it was

a great night. We didn't play well enough tonight. Sunderland played

well. Finally, there's lots of things you

can make with paper, but how about this? Chinese artist Li Hongbo made

these sculptures from thousands of sheets of paper. They appear firm at

first, until this happens. They transform into very weird and

wonderful shapes when stretched, almost like a slinky!
