Hi, everyone.

0:00:030:00:04

I'm Ayshah, with your Newsround stories.

0:00:040:00:05

Coming up in the next few minutes: The balloon race that's going up.

0:00:050:00:10

And the Chinese buildings that are coming down

0:00:100:00:15

First up, we loved her at the London and Rio Olympic Games,

0:00:220:00:25

but boxing superstar Nicola Adams has said she won't be

0:00:250:00:28

going to the next Olympics and will now turn professional.

0:00:280:00:32

That means she'll be earning money by having big fights on TV rather

0:00:320:00:35

than funding from Team GB as an amateur Olympic athlete.

0:00:350:00:39

She said the time was right.

0:00:390:00:42

I wanted to leave the amateur game a world champion as well as a double

0:00:420:00:49

Olympic champion, so I decided to stay and fulfil my goals.

0:00:490:00:54

I wanted to be a double Olympic champion,

0:00:540:00:56

world champion and leave ranked number one as well.

0:00:560:01:01

To another sport, but one that's called the Formula 1

0:01:010:01:03

of the ice skating world - longtrack speedskating!

0:01:030:01:06

A hundred years ago, it was Great Britain who dominated,

0:01:060:01:09

but now the Team GB team have a new home in the Netherlands.

0:01:090:01:12

Martin explains.

0:01:120:01:16

The frozen Fens in east England was the home of a traditional form

0:01:160:01:20

of ice-skating called track speed skating, where people would race

0:01:200:01:24

each other on a frozen lake around a long track.

0:01:240:01:27

However, in recent years the temperatures have risen

0:01:270:01:30

and the Fens rarely freeze over.

0:01:300:01:32

This meant the popularity of track speed skating dropped in the UK.

0:01:320:01:36

However, here in the Netherlands, it is booming and some of the UK's

0:01:360:01:40

best long track speed skaters are now training here at this giant

0:01:400:01:44

arena for competitions.

0:01:440:01:48

Let's find out why people enjoy speed skating.

0:01:480:01:51

I feel like I'm part of the wind!

0:01:510:01:53

The first couple of steps you really need to be explosive,

0:01:530:01:56

really need to get that speed up and then on the second bit,

0:01:560:01:59

you can accelerate and really finish your stride.

0:01:590:02:02

It's hoped that top facilities like this will encourage people

0:02:020:02:05

to try out long track speed skating.

0:02:050:02:11

Next up, it's barely the time it takes to tie your laces,

0:02:110:02:14

but ten seconds is all it took for 19 buildings to be blown up

0:02:140:02:18

in a controlled explosion in China.

0:02:180:02:20

Demolition experts used five tonnes of explosives, which brought down

0:02:200:02:23

the buildings in Wuhan.

0:02:230:02:25

It's all to make way for a 700m tall skyscraper.

0:02:250:02:31

Now, some of you may play musical instruments,

0:02:310:02:33

but can you imagine coming from a home where everyone

0:02:330:02:36

is a top musician?

0:02:360:02:37

Well, I met one family who are all musically in-tune.

0:02:370:02:47

I play the violin.

0:02:470:02:49

I play the cello.

0:02:490:02:50

I play the piano.

0:02:500:02:51

I play the violin.

0:02:510:02:52

I play the cello.

0:02:520:02:56

Meet the Kanneh-Mason family.

0:02:560:02:58

They're all - you've guessed it - pretty

0:02:580:03:00

musical.

0:03:000:03:01

You guys come from a really musical family, don't you?

0:03:010:03:04

Yes.

0:03:040:03:05

Tell me a little bit about it.

0:03:050:03:07

It's busy and exciting.

0:03:070:03:14

It can be very noisy and it can be kind of annoying when

0:03:140:03:17

you wake up.

0:03:170:03:18

I'm rather used to it when I always wake up and I can

0:03:180:03:21

always hear the noise and sound of music.

0:03:210:03:25

What do you love about music and why?

0:03:290:03:33

I love music because it just has a lovely, nice sound with

0:03:330:03:37

every instrument.

0:03:370:03:38

What I love about music is the fact that everyone is

0:03:380:03:41

different, it's not like maths where every answer is exactly the same.

0:03:410:03:44

You all play musical instruments, what is it

0:03:440:03:46

like to play as a group?

0:03:460:03:49

When we all get together, it's really nice and

0:03:490:03:51

it's just really noisy and I like that.

0:03:510:03:54

It's really nice playing with siblings, because it's easy to tell

0:03:540:03:57

them what to do without putting it into words, they just kind of know

0:03:570:04:00

what to do next.

0:04:000:04:01

You just look at people.

0:04:010:04:02

Yeah, and they just know what to do.

0:04:020:04:05

I couldn't leave this musical home without asking them for

0:04:050:04:08

one musical request.

0:04:080:04:10

Could you play the Newsround theme music?

0:04:100:04:14

NEWSROUND THEME

0:04:140:04:22

Not bad, guys.

0:04:220:04:23

Not bad.

0:04:230:04:26

Where do you see a floating washing up liquid bottle,

0:04:260:04:29

bottles of champagne

0:04:290:04:32

and even giant Lego men?

0:04:320:04:33

It's not a riddle - only one place - hot air balloon races.

0:04:330:04:36

This is an International Hot Air Balloon festival in the Swiss alps.

0:04:360:04:39

Doesn't it look totally amazing in all that snow?

0:04:390:04:43

That's it from me, but go online to see why YouTube star Dan TDM

0:04:430:04:46

is in trouble with the Fire Service about these guys.

0:04:460:04:49

See you tomorrow at 7.40am.
