It's Sunday afternoon, Ayshah here with the top stories you need to

know. Coming up: we bring you one of the most extreme sports I've ever

seen - Downhill Ice Cross! And a baby gorilla makes a

remarkable recovery, after a tough start to life.

First though, to the search for the Malaysia Airlines plane which lost

all contact over two weeks ago. More and more countries are getting

involved in the effort to try to find any sign of the aircraft.

Satellite images have shown what appears to be debris floating in the

sea, but so far no actual sighting has been confirmed. It's important

to stress that a plane going missing is extremely rare. But why is the

search proving to be so difficult? I've been looking at the huge

challenges facing the investigation. Flying low over the South Indian

Ocean, all eyes are on the water... The search has been focused here for

the past four days. Satellite images showing objects in the water have

made investigators think this might be the area where they will find the

plane. We have eight planes in the area.

Some from Australia and New Zealand and the United States. Visibility is

key. The Australians are saying they are relying increasingly less on

radar and simply looking out of the planes and scanning the vast ocean.

But searching this vast area of ocean isn't easy. The search point

is over 1500 miles off the coast of Western Australia. It means planes

setting off from Perth have around a five hour journey just to get there

- meaning they only have enough fuel to search for two hours before they

need to turn back. The weather has also been a problem - rough seas,

storms and strong winds are common in the area. To help the search,

ships from America, Britain and China are on their way now too. It's

not known if the objects in the satellite pictures are from the

plane but they're the best clues investigators have so far.

A pen has been invented which vibrates when you spell something

wrong. It uses a mechanism inside to work out what is being written. It's

connected to an app that flashes to let you know when you've gone wrong.

The pen uses normal ink refills but it does not need ink. Because there

are no sensors here, it does not need special paper. It does not need

paper at all. It will work in thin air.

Sport now: England cricket captain Stuart Broad has said his players

were put in danger when the umpires decided to play on during a

thunderstorm. It was in England's first match of the World Twenty20

cricket tournament, which ended in defeat. As their opponents New

Zealand batted, huge flashes of lightning were seen in the night

sky. The match was eventually called off, but because New Zealand scored

their runs at a faster rate, England lost and are bottom of their group.

Captain Broad says that safety should always come first.

The health and safety of players and the crowd is very important. That

seemed like threatening lightning to me. It does not change what we have

to do as a team. We can take some good things from today. We must win

our next games. Next: a sneak preview to hear from

Paralympian and flying the flag for Team GB in Sochi, Millie Knight is

back at school and caught up with Nel to tell her all about the

was it like? I walked out and the crowd were

roaring. It was amazing. To come top five was incredible. I was almost

crying. I just thought while. And if the Winter Olympics and

Paralympics all feels a bit like a distant memory, then I've got a real

treat for you right now. This is the Ice Cross downhill world

championship - one of the most extreme things I've ever seen. It's

just been held in Quebec in Canada in front of crowds of over 100,000

people. The icy course runs through the streets of the city and includes

sharp turns, steep slopes and even sheer vertical drops. It was won by

Austrian Marco Dallago. Last up, a baby gorilla, whose birth

we featured on Newsround just over a week ago, has shown great

improvement after suffering from pneumonia. The baby girl was born at

a zoo in America by a rare animal caesarean section, as her mum was

having trouble giving birth. She's still not been given a name yet, but

her keepers at San Diego zoo are happy that she's well enough to come

home from the hospital. It is a very exciting day. We feel

confident about the baby's health. We brought her back. This is the

first time the other animals have seen her.
