There was an explosion at the venue as people were leaving.	:00:27.	:00:33.

There's has been a serious attack in Manchester.	:00:46.	:00:50.
It happened at a concert by Ariana Grande.	:00:51.	:00:54.
Some people have lost their lives and others have been injured.	:00:55.	:00:59.
Many more people came to help - offering those who were there lifts	:01:00.	:01:02.
When things like this happen, it's totally normal	:01:03.	:01:08.
To think things like, why did this happen?	:01:09.	:01:12.
Could this happen to my family and friends?	:01:13.	:01:17.
What's important to remember is that although events like this	:01:18.	:01:21.
Worrying stories are often in the news because they don't	:01:22.	:01:29.
So what should you do if you're feeling sad or anxious?	:01:30.	:01:34.
You can speak to your parents, a teacher,	:01:35.	:01:38.
They can reassure you and help you feel better.	:01:39.	:01:43.
And remember when things like this happen, there are far more	:01:44.	:01:46.
people who want to help, than want to cause harm.	:01:47.	:01:57.
The attack at the Ariana Grande concert happened just over	:01:58.	:02:02.
It's a popular venue where lots of big stars come to play.	:02:03.	:02:06.
There's still a big area still closed off.	:02:07.	:02:13.
You can see police activity behind me.	:02:14.	:02:15.
We now know that 22 people died and 59 people	:02:16.	:02:18.
The emergency services have been praised for getting	:02:19.	:02:22.
to the Arena quickly, and there have been stories	:02:23.	:02:25.
Here's Leah to find out how people have been helping.	:02:26.	:02:39.
Amongst the confusion last night, lots of people in Manchester were	:02:40.	:02:46.
helping each other out. Hotels like this one were helping people caught	:02:47.	:02:52.
up in the attack. On social media, people offered up their spare rooms	:02:53.	:02:56.
to anyone from the constructed couldn't get back home. And taxis in	:02:57.	:03:00.
the area were offering up free rides to anyone who was stranded. Across	:03:01.	:03:06.
the world, people have been sending messages of support. Taylor Swift	:03:07.	:03:13.
wrote, my thoughts, prayers and tears for all those affected	:03:14.	:03:20.
tonight. I am sending my love. Harry Styles said, I am heartbroken over	:03:21.	:03:25.
what happened in Manchester tonight. The Queen has also expressed her	:03:26.	:03:29.
sympathy and praised the emergency services. Prime Minister Theresa May	:03:30.	:03:35.
said her thoughts are with the victims and their families. And we	:03:36.	:03:40.
all, every single one of us, stands with the people of Manchester that	:03:41.	:03:46.
terrible time. And US President Donald Trump called the attacker a	:03:47.	:03:52.
loser. We stand in solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom.	:03:53.	:03:56.
Emergency services and the police were on the scene very quickly and	:03:57.	:04:03.
the Of Manchester Andy Burnham gave his response. They gave the best	:04:04.	:04:09.
possible response to those who seek to divide us and it will be that	:04:10.	:04:12.
spirit of Manchester that holds us together. Later tonight there will	:04:13.	:04:20.
be a candlelit vigil in the city centre to remember those who lost	:04:21.	:04:23.
their lives and those who were injured and to show the world that	:04:24.	:04:27.
Manchester and its people will stand strong together.	:04:28.	:04:29.
Well, thousands of people were at the concert.	:04:30.	:04:36.
Earlier Jenny spoke to Kal who was there.	:04:37.	:04:38.
It was after the encore and the lights came	:04:39.	:04:44.
on and within seconds we heard this massive thud,	:04:45.	:04:46.
presumed it was somebody dropping equipment, it wasn't until we sort	:04:47.	:04:50.
a massive stampede of people trying to get to the exits that we knew	:04:51.	:04:53.
Emergency services were so efficient,	:04:54.	:05:00.
Taxis were giving out free rides as well.	:05:01.	:05:06.
It goes to show that at times like these various solidarity.	:05:07.	:05:09.
We all have to stand together and unite.	:05:10.	:05:17.
It's something a lot of you might have been talking about today.	:05:18.	:05:20.
We spoke to some pupils at a school in Manchester about how	:05:21.	:05:23.
I think the best way to cope with this is to clear parents	:05:24.	:05:27.
or an adult or a teacher, because they can get	:05:28.	:05:29.
you through it and calm you down and explain it all to you.	:05:30.	:05:33.
How did it make you feel when you heard the news?	:05:34.	:05:35.
It felt sad because many people were injured, which is not good,	:05:36.	:05:42.
and I just want to thank the people who all helped them	:05:43.	:05:45.
Does it put you off going to the city centre?	:05:46.	:05:49.
I don't think it should put me off but I am a little bit put off	:05:50.	:05:53.
because they are trying to scare us we should show them we're not	:05:54.	:05:56.
When you heard the news, how did it make you feel?	:05:57.	:06:00.
I don't want anything like this to happen again.	:06:01.	:06:04.
Now police are trying to find out exactly happened but they have said	:06:05.	:06:16.
that the person responsible died in the attack.	:06:17.	:06:18.
Lots of people are still being treated in hospitals	:06:19.	:06:20.
In fact, many doctors and nurses offered to come	:06:21.	:06:24.
So people here are coming together to do what they can.	:06:25.	:06:34.
