Morning! | 0:00:09 | 0:00:12
It's Friday, I'm Ricky,
and this is Newsround live on CBBC. | 0:00:12 | 0:00:14
Loads coming up to get
you ready for the weekend... | 0:00:14 | 0:00:17
We meet the latest star
arrival at a Mexico zoo. | 0:00:17 | 0:00:19
And we catch up with the stars
of the last Maze Runner movie. | 0:00:19 | 0:00:27
Now, are any of you guys
Maze Runner fans? | 0:00:34 | 0:00:36
Well, today the final
film in the movie series | 0:00:36 | 0:00:38
hits the big screens. | 0:00:38 | 0:00:39
Newsround went to meet some
of the stars of the movie to find | 0:00:39 | 0:00:43
out what you guys can
look forward to. | 0:00:43 | 0:00:46
We're running out of time. | 0:00:46 | 0:00:47
You've seen what's
happening out there. | 0:00:47 | 0:00:51
This is the most action-packed
of the three movies. | 0:00:51 | 0:00:56
Go! | 0:00:56 | 0:00:57 | |
Hang on! | 0:00:57 | 0:00:58
There's some big, fun,
exciting scenes this time. | 0:00:58 | 0:01:01
The special effects look amazing. | 0:01:01 | 0:01:03
The last city,
the base of operations. | 0:01:03 | 0:01:06
The drama between these characters. | 0:01:06 | 0:01:08
Do you regret it? | 0:01:08 | 0:01:09
What you did to us? | 0:01:09 | 0:01:10
I did what I thought was right. | 0:01:10 | 0:01:12
The acting is amazing. | 0:01:12 | 0:01:13
Especially your acting. | 0:01:13 | 0:01:14
My acting? | 0:01:14 | 0:01:15
Yes. | 0:01:15 | 0:01:17 | |
Very good. | 0:01:17 | 0:01:21
Yeah. | 0:01:21 | 0:01:23 | |
It's unbelievable. | 0:01:23 | 0:01:24
Yeah. | 0:01:24 | 0:01:25 | |
You still care about her, don't ou?? | 0:01:25 | 0:01:27
Don't lie to me! | 0:01:27 | 0:01:28
It's entirely believable. | 0:01:28 | 0:01:29
I was going to say. | 0:01:29 | 0:01:30
Yeah. | 0:01:30 | 0:01:31 | |
It's believable. | 0:01:31 | 0:01:39
The opening was fun. | 0:01:42 | 0:01:43
It was very cool. | 0:01:43 | 0:01:44
Yeah. | 0:01:44 | 0:01:45 | |
That was out in the desert. | 0:01:45 | 0:01:46
It was very hot out there. | 0:01:46 | 0:01:48
Yeah, that was actually terrible. | 0:01:48 | 0:01:52
I think my favourite part to film
was the ending because we'd been | 0:01:52 | 0:01:55
preparing for it for five years
and we knew it was coming | 0:01:55 | 0:01:58
and we wanted to make it
the biggest, loudest, | 0:01:58 | 0:02:03
most adrenaline-rush
of all the movies. | 0:02:03 | 0:02:08
No, luckily in this one,
all I had to train was wearing heels | 0:02:08 | 0:02:11
because she's in the office,
so I didn't have to do any more | 0:02:11 | 0:02:14
running or climbing or sprinting,
which I was very relieved about, | 0:02:14 | 0:02:17
but it turns out wearing
heels for 18 hours a day | 0:02:17 | 0:02:19
is almost worse than running. | 0:02:19 | 0:02:21
The stunt sequences in this one
were things that we had to, | 0:02:21 | 0:02:26
you know, learn weeks ahead
and I think it was like the first | 0:02:26 | 0:02:29
time really we've ever had,
specially for us, a choreographed | 0:02:29 | 0:02:31
fight kind of thing and so... | 0:02:31 | 0:02:34
We learned that right
at the very beginning. | 0:02:34 | 0:02:36
Yeah, like the first thing we did. | 0:02:36 | 0:02:41
Yeah. | 0:02:41 | 0:02:43 | |
It's weird, I don't think we ever
thought it would end because we've | 0:02:43 | 0:02:47
had such an amazing time and five
years sounds so long | 0:02:47 | 0:02:49
when you're 20 years old. | 0:02:49 | 0:02:51
Each movie has always been a kind
of cliffhanger and this movie we get | 0:02:51 | 0:02:55
to finally have a "the end"
at the end, you know. | 0:02:55 | 0:02:57
So it's been fun to do that. | 0:02:57 | 0:03:01
Question - how do you
move an 80 tonne king? | 0:03:01 | 0:03:04
The answer? | 0:03:04 | 0:03:07
Slowly, and very, very carefully! | 0:03:07 | 0:03:15
I'm talking about this 12 metre high
statue of Rameses the second. | 0:03:15 | 0:03:17
He's known as the greatest
Pharoah of Egypt. | 0:03:17 | 0:03:19
The statue is being moved to go
on display at a new museum | 0:03:19 | 0:03:22
in Egypt's capital, Cairo,
which will open later this year. | 0:03:22 | 0:03:30
It's thought to be
around 3200 years old. | 0:03:30 | 0:03:33
And Ramses was given
a journey fit for a King, | 0:03:33 | 0:03:36
with an official parade of horses
walking alongside and | 0:03:36 | 0:03:38
a band to welcome him! | 0:03:38 | 0:03:39
Now, what did you have
for dinner last night? | 0:03:39 | 0:03:41
Fish fingers? | 0:03:41 | 0:03:45
The reason I ask is because
scientists have made a huge | 0:03:45 | 0:03:48
discovery under the sea. | 0:03:48 | 0:03:50
It's a fish with actual fingers,
and it's thought to be | 0:03:50 | 0:03:53
the rarest in the world. | 0:03:53 | 0:03:56
Watch this... | 0:03:56 | 0:03:57
Ever seen a fish with fingers? | 0:03:57 | 0:04:00
No, silly, not the crispy kind -
an actual fish with fingers? | 0:04:00 | 0:04:08
I know what you're thinking -
there's something a little | 0:04:09 | 0:04:12
bit fishy about this,
but I can confirm you | 0:04:12 | 0:04:14
are HERRING the truth. | 0:04:14 | 0:04:15
See what I did there? | 0:04:15 | 0:04:16
This extremely rare species lives
off the waters of Australia. | 0:04:16 | 0:04:18
They've got scientists off
the SCALE with excitement. | 0:04:18 | 0:04:23
Divers in Tasmania have just
discovered a new group of red hand | 0:04:23 | 0:04:27
fish, doubling the known population
and raising hopes that | 0:04:27 | 0:04:29
more may be found. | 0:04:29 | 0:04:32
So what can they do
with their fingers? | 0:04:32 | 0:04:35
Use a smartphone perhaps
to update their FISHBOOK profile? | 0:04:35 | 0:04:39
Maybe play a TUNA on the piano? | 0:04:39 | 0:04:46
Well, no, they don't do very much. | 0:04:46 | 0:04:47
He's hardly SCALLOPING along, is he? | 0:04:47 | 0:04:52
The red hand fish waddles
around on its fins. | 0:04:52 | 0:04:55
In fact, they hardly ever move. | 0:04:55 | 0:04:58
Still, these fish look incredible. | 0:04:58 | 0:05:00
I'm their biggest FIN. | 0:05:00 | 0:05:02
Right, that's it. | 0:05:02 | 0:05:04
I've just about HADDOCK
with these fish puns! | 0:05:04 | 0:05:10
Last up, a rare white lion
cub has met the cameras | 0:05:10 | 0:05:14
for the first time at a zoo
in Mexico, and is turning | 0:05:14 | 0:05:17
into a bit of a star! | 0:05:17 | 0:05:19
As you can see, it's very
curious and is enjoying | 0:05:19 | 0:05:22
investigating its surroundings. | 0:05:22 | 0:05:24
The cub was born in October
but doesn't have a name yet. | 0:05:24 | 0:05:26
Children who visit the zoo
are being asked for suggestions. | 0:05:26 | 0:05:29
There are only around 300
white lions in the world. | 0:05:29 | 0:05:33
Let's have a quick look
at what you can see over | 0:05:33 | 0:05:37
at Newsround online... | 0:05:37 | 0:05:43
