People living on the

Indonesian island of Bali

have had to leave their homes.

It's because there's

concern that a volcano

there may be about to erupt.

Mount Agung is currently blowing

a plume of thick ash into the sky.

It's last big eruption was in 1963.

Sport now, and in cricket England

are on the verge of losing

the first Ashes Test.

Australia dominated the fourth day

in Brisbane ending on 114

without loss in the second innings.

Next a school in Somerset

which has come up with a plan

to help protect hedgehogs.

Hedgehogs need a nice and cosy warm

home for the winter.

So put a hedgehog

box in your garden.

We've got this box for hedgehogs

living in over the winter,

but as you can see, it is not

very well camouflaged.

So what are going to do today

is, we're going to run

out and get lots of sticks

and leaves to help to

camouflage it over

the

winter as hedgehogs don't

really like being open.

And then, it'll be nice

and cosy for them in the

winter.

A lot of people think that hedgehogs

need milk, but milk makes

hedgehogs sick.

Instead of milk, give cat food

and dog food and maybe

a saucer of water.

Build a box hotel!

Hedgehogs will love it!

LAUGHTER.

Start with a pile of wood,

then you can add egg boxes.

Sticks.

And then some bricks.

And anything else that

hedgehogs will love.

We have made this

poster for the public.

Hedgehogs can be harmed by litter.

So pick up that crisp packet!

So cut a 13 centimetre bull-mac

so that they can go in and out.

Now here's Jonathan -

he might be the oldest tortoise

in the whole wide world

but no-one can really shell.

He lives

on a British Island called St helena

in the south Atlantic ocean.

No one knows exactly where he came

from or how old he is but he's

a pretty big tourist attraction.

it's made out of gingerbread!

It's a holiday tradition

in San Francisco in America.

It took more than 2 weeks to make!

It includes more than 10 thousand

pieces of gingerbread and a tonne

of icing and sweets!
