Hi, I'm Martin, I hope you're enjoying your Easter Sunday.

0:00:020:00:05

This is what's coming up on Newsround today.

0:00:050:00:08

Find out why it's raining Easter eggs.

0:00:080:00:11

And the rare pandas spotted in China.

0:00:110:00:14

First, you might have noticed that

0:00:230:00:25

Newsround is going tech mad this week, and our latest special

0:00:250:00:28

is all about technology and asking the question -

0:00:280:00:30

is tech taking over?

0:00:300:00:33

We've been chatting to some famous tech whizzes

0:00:330:00:35

to find out how they manage their tech time.

0:00:350:00:38

Here's Marcus from Technobabble to tell us how he does it.

0:00:380:00:41

The way I get a good balance between screen time

0:00:500:00:52

and non-screen time is real simple - I set an alarm.

0:00:520:00:55

We've all got alarms on our devices, so, for example, if I'm sending

0:00:550:00:58

loads of e-mails, I might pop and alarm up to say,

0:00:580:01:01

"Hey, take a break, get up, go get a glass of water,

0:01:010:01:03

stretch your legs." Simple as!

0:01:030:01:07

Well, whilst it is obviously easier to video call

0:01:110:01:13

my friends that live in Australia or the States,

0:01:130:01:15

because I'm not going to get a plane over there every time

0:01:150:01:18

I want to catch up with them, if there are people

0:01:180:01:20

that are closer, there's nothing better than

0:01:200:01:22

meeting up in person.

0:01:220:01:23

I definitely know I'm getting their attention and they're

0:01:230:01:25

not doing other stuff, like, you know, on social media

0:01:250:01:28

while they're meant to be talking to me.

0:01:280:01:30

Because I want all their attention!

0:01:300:01:32

Let's be honest, we are better at tech than Mum and Dad,

0:01:340:01:37

or the adults around us.

0:01:370:01:39

Why don't we we set a good example and say,

0:01:390:01:41

"Hey, put the tablet down and spend some time face-to-face with me!"

0:01:410:01:46

No pressure, but it's up to you to set the good example.

0:01:460:01:52

And don't forget you can watch the whole of that special

0:01:520:01:54

over on the Newsround website. Check it out.

0:01:540:01:58

For kids in Florida, America, they have had

0:01:580:02:00

an egg-stra special Easter treat.

0:02:000:02:02

50,000 chocolate eggs were dropped from helicopter

0:02:020:02:04

for a gigantic Easter egg hunt.

0:02:040:02:08

Those taking part rushed around to grab as many as they could.

0:02:080:02:11

Look at them go!

0:02:110:02:13

Next, England's young football team staged an incredible comeback

0:02:130:02:15

to beat World Cup holders Germany 3-2 in Berlin.

0:02:150:02:17

Roy Hodgson's men were 2-0 down in the second half.

0:02:170:02:22

Harry Kane started the scoring with a low finish, then

0:02:220:02:25

it was Jamie Vardy's turn to get his first international goal.

0:02:250:02:34

Eric Dier finished things off in style with this cheeky header.

0:02:340:02:36

And it's not just the English football team who are

0:02:360:02:39

doing well right now.

0:02:390:02:40

Yesterday, the cricket team took on Sri Lanka

0:02:400:02:42

in the World Twenty20 Championships in India and won by just ten runs.

0:02:420:02:47

They are now through to the semifinals.

0:02:470:02:50

The 1966 World Cup is a tournament England fans won't forget.

0:02:500:02:55

However, some people might not know

0:02:550:02:56

that if wasn't for a dog, that particular tournament might not

0:02:560:02:59

have even had a trophy for the winning team.

0:02:590:03:02

Here's the story.

0:03:020:03:05

For England footy fans, 1966 is a year they will never forget.

0:03:050:03:10

This is England captain Bobby Moore,

0:03:100:03:12

lifting the World Cup after beating West Germany 4-2 in the final.

0:03:120:03:16

However, this picture could have looked completely different,

0:03:160:03:18

if it wasn't for a dog called Pickles.

0:03:180:03:23

I took my dog, Pickles, out for a walk, and he

0:03:230:03:28

scooted round the front of the house and went over to the front

0:03:280:03:33

of my neighbour's car.

0:03:330:03:36

He was sniffing around.

0:03:360:03:38

I walked over to put the lead on him and I noticed there was a package

0:03:380:03:42

on the floor wrapped in newspaper.

0:03:420:03:44

Out of curiosity, I bent down and picked it up and I tore a bit

0:03:440:03:48

of the newspaper off and I saw "Brazil, West Germany..."

0:03:480:03:55

Being a football fan, all the publicity going on

0:03:550:03:58

about the Cup, my heart started thumping.

0:03:580:04:03

It was the World Cup!

0:04:030:04:06

So, how did the World Cup end up under the car?

0:04:060:04:10

It turns out it had been stolen.

0:04:100:04:12

The man in charge of looking after it

0:04:120:04:14

decided to go on a lunch break,

0:04:140:04:15

and no-one thought it would ever be found.

0:04:150:04:19

But thank goodness, Pickles was there to save the day.

0:04:190:04:21

And it made him pretty famous.

0:04:210:04:25

It is all a bit bewildering for Pickles, but for the suddenly

0:04:250:04:27

world-famous pooch, there is more glamour to follow.

0:04:270:04:30

The National Sporting Club honour the stolen trophy finders,

0:04:300:04:33

David Corbett and Pickles.

0:04:330:04:35

After England had won, Pickles and David

0:04:350:04:37

were invited to celebrate with the England team.

0:04:370:04:40

Bobby Moore picked him up.

0:04:400:04:42

Showed him to the crowd.

0:04:420:04:45

Really exciting for me.

0:04:450:04:49

I think it was exciting for the whole country.

0:04:490:04:53

Since that famous victory, England haven't managed

0:04:530:04:55

to get their hands on the World Cup.

0:04:550:04:58

That is why 1966 is such an important part of sporting history.

0:04:580:05:03

Just think, it could have been all so different

0:05:030:05:06

if it wasn't for Pickles.

0:05:060:05:12

A wild giant panda, along with a red panda and two cubs,

0:05:120:05:15

have been spotted at a nature reserve in south-west China.

0:05:150:05:17

They were seen on infrared cameras that were installed last year to see

0:05:170:05:20

what wild animals are roaming the area.

0:05:200:05:24

Staff at the nature reserve said the giant panda looked well

0:05:240:05:27

and was probably looking for food.

0:05:270:05:31

Finally, could there be a new polar bear baby soon in Scotland?

0:05:310:05:35

Well, keepers at the Highland Wildlife Park are hoping so.

0:05:350:05:37

In the last week, Victoria and Arktos have been introduced

0:05:370:05:40

to each other and they seem to be getting on well.

0:05:400:05:44

Everyone is hoping for the first polar bear baby to be born

0:05:440:05:47

in the UK in 25 years.

0:05:470:05:51

That's all from me, Newsround's back tomorrow morning with Hayley.
