The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that five British

servicemen have died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. The families

of those killed have been told. The MoD has said the crash appears to be

an accident and an investigation is being carried out to find the cause.

It's the first fatal British helicopter crash in the Afghan

conflict. Since the war began in 2001, 453 British service personnel

have been killed. The UK government plans to take all troops out of

Afghanistan by the end of the year. If you're upset by this, or any

want to find out more. Next, hundreds of thousands of

people are gathering in Rome this morning to witness history being

made. It's the very first time two popes will be made saints at the

same time. Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII will be honoured in

an open air ceremony in Vatican City. Up to a million people are

expected at the event with hundreds of millions more watching on TV

around the world. The Catholic Church has never seen

any quite like this in its 2000 years of history. Two popes being

recognised as sense, this is a huge religious event.

Next, for the first time in quite a while Manchester United fans will be

waking up this morning with something to smile about. A 4-0

thrashing of Norwich City. Ryan Giggs' first game as temporary boss

was just what the Old Trafford supporters needed. Two goals apiece

from Wayne Rooney and Juan Mata sealed the win, but it was the

players the new manager had to leave out that gave him the biggest

headache. I did not get much sleep last night because of that reason.

Leaving players, not even getting on the bench, they all could have been

considered with the training performances they put in. I was not

worried about the starting 11, it was just the players I had to leave

out. Next, the last letter written on the

Titanic ship has been sold at auction for ?119,000. It was written

by survivors Esther Hart and her daughter Eva just before the ship

hit an iceberg and sank back in 1912.

And finally all your favourite stars, including The Vamps behind

me, flocked to LA last night for The Radio Disney Music Awards in the US.

Of the 15 awards, Best Music Group was bagged by British boys One

Direction. Demi Lovato took to Twitter to tell fans her delight

with her Best Female award, whilst the winner for Fiercest Fans went to
