Hi, I'm Leah with your Tuesday morning Newsround.

0:00:060:00:08

Coming up in the next few...

0:00:080:00:09

We find out why koalas need our help.

0:00:090:00:13

And the lobster that gave this man the shock of his life.

0:00:130:00:18

First, it's a big night for England's Under-21 football team

0:00:260:00:28

who play Germany in the semifinals of the European Championships.

0:00:280:00:31

The match is taking place in Poland this evening with Nathaniel Chalobah

0:00:310:00:37

and Nathan Redmond facing a race against time in late fitness tests

0:00:370:00:40

to be fit for the match.

0:00:400:00:43

The game will be a repeat of the 2009 final which Germany won 4-0.

0:00:430:00:49

Good news for Britain's Heather Watson who beat world number nine

0:00:490:00:52

Dominika Cibulkova in Eastbourne.

0:00:520:00:55

In a thrilling match, Heather held her nerve

0:00:550:00:57

to win in two tight sets.

0:00:570:01:01

Her win means she's reached the last 16 in the tournament and knocked out

0:01:010:01:04

the defending champion.

0:01:040:01:05

Good preparation for Wimbledon then, which starts next week.

0:01:050:01:10

Now, they're one of Australia's famous species.

0:01:100:01:12

But koalas are having a bit of a hard time at the moment,

0:01:120:01:15

as Ayshah's been finding out.

0:01:150:01:16

Eat...

0:01:160:01:18

sleep...

0:01:180:01:20

repeat.

0:01:200:01:22

This is what koalas are known for.

0:01:220:01:29

Since 2012, koalas have been listed as a vulnerable species

0:01:290:01:32

and now their numbers have fallen further.

0:01:320:01:36

Today, there are fewer than 40,000 left in the wild.

0:01:360:01:39

Mainly because of things like dog attacks, cars, vanishing habitats.

0:01:390:01:46

Koalas have declined by 50% in the last 15-20 years.

0:01:460:01:50

The very area that they want to get in and absolutely hammer is the very

0:01:500:01:57

area that is the highest koala habitat quality.

0:01:570:02:00

So, logging and deforestation is a big issue for koala

0:02:000:02:03

conservationists, but it's not the only problem.

0:02:030:02:05

Researchers say coastal gum trees, where the koalas live

0:02:050:02:10

and eat, could be affected by rising sea levels.

0:02:100:02:12

And if that happens, the tasty leaves of the trees

0:02:120:02:16

will not be able to be eaten.

0:02:160:02:21

But there are a few ideas people are looking at to protect koalas

0:02:210:02:24

and their habitat in the future.

0:02:240:02:27

Like huge koala parks to help those that are at risk and stopping

0:02:270:02:31

logging in certain areas.

0:02:310:02:35

So, hopefully, this will help them do what they normally do -

0:02:350:02:38

eat, sleep, and repeat.

0:02:380:02:44

This rocket had a very busy weekend.

0:02:450:02:48

The SpaceX mission launched from Florida and California

0:02:480:02:52

in the US, marking a new age for space travel!

0:02:520:02:55

Ricky has more.

0:02:550:02:56

Getting a satellite into space is a challenge.

0:02:560:03:02

But it's getting easier and a lot cheaper.

0:03:020:03:08

This is the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in action over the weekend.

0:03:080:03:15

It just completed two missions in 48 hours, delivering ten

0:03:150:03:19

satellites into orbit.

0:03:190:03:24

So, what's so special about the Falcon 9 rocket?

0:03:240:03:26

Well, it can be used time and time again.

0:03:260:03:28

It's unmanned.

0:03:280:03:32

Once it has released all of its cargo,...

0:03:320:03:35

Looks like it did have good recovery...

0:03:350:03:38

..it can return back to Earth, usually on the landing zone,

0:03:380:03:43

a floating ship on water just like this one.

0:03:430:03:47

But SpaceX has just started to successfully land

0:03:470:03:49

rockets on solid ground.

0:03:490:03:53

The company continues to break boundaries.

0:03:550:03:59

They even have plans to send tourists around the moon.

0:03:590:04:05

And some good news for the Yellowstone

0:04:050:04:07

grizzly bear in America.

0:04:070:04:08

After years of being under threat and on the endangered species list,

0:04:080:04:11

with only 136 left, their population has enjoyed a boost and experts

0:04:110:04:16

believe there's more than 700 now.

0:04:160:04:20

They'll soon be taken off the list of animals in trouble.

0:04:200:04:23

Finally, if you're flying off to somewhere hot this summer,

0:04:230:04:27

once you break up from school, things you might NOT

0:04:270:04:29

want to put in your bag...

0:04:290:04:31

A massive lobster like this!

0:04:310:04:34

Security staff found this crustacean after they took a look

0:04:340:04:36

in a passenger's bag.

0:04:360:04:37

It was very much alive and it was travelling

0:04:370:04:40

in a cooler in checked luggage.

0:04:400:04:42

He was allowed to continue to his final destination -

0:04:420:04:45

after a quick photo was taken, of course!

0:04:450:04:48

That's all from me.

0:04:480:04:50

Newsround's back right here in about half an hour.
