Hi, I'm Ricky and this is Newsround. First to our top story and there'll

be nobody climbing Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, after

local guides known as Sherpas cancelled this year's climbing

season. Their decision is in memory of 16 Sherpas who died in an

avalanche ten days ago. Next how many of you have an old

video game at home that you don't play any more? If so, what have you

done with it? Thrown it in the bin? Recycled it? What about burying in

the desert? It might sound a bit extreme, but that's what happened to

thousands of copies of what's been dubbed the worst game ever made!

Nel's been digging in to this one. The gaming industry is thought to be

worth around ?40 billion. It's been big business since the 1980s and

these were some of the favourite titles back then. But they weren't

all hits and this was thought to be one of the worst of all time. ET was

a huge blockbuster which came out in 1982 and people wanted to cash in on

the film's success. Games developers Atari designed and made the ET video

game in just a few weeks at a cost of over 20 million dollars. But it

was a massive flop. But how bad was the game. I have got one right here

and Gordon is against expert. It is extremely repetitive. You flip back

between the same screens and it does not really represent the film. It

was reported that up to five million copies of the game were left unsold

and Atari employee has said he buried around 700,000 of them to get

rid. Now, more than 30 years on, a team of documentary makers have

found the site and after a few hours of digging found a huge stash of

these rejected games. It's thought there could be hundreds of thousands

more copies of the game still buried in the New Mexico dessert. It's a

pretty unusual way to get rid of a something you don't want- although I

rather like it. Next, how big is your biggest ever

sporting defeat? We've been asking you on the Newsround website today

after a cricket team in Cheshire only scored three runs between them

at the weekend. Alex from North Yorkshire got in touch. He said, "My

hockey team lost 9-nil, we were only 1-0 down at half time but in the

second half two of their goals were one hundred percent my fault." And

finally the hunt is on to find 21 wild boars which escaped from a

Welsh farm, after burglars let them loose yesterday. Anyone who sees the

boars is advised not approach them, but to call 101, so they can be
