Morning, everyone.

0:00:040:00:05

Leah here with Thursday's Newsround.

0:00:050:00:08

Coming up: We give you the lowdown on Fifa 17.

0:00:080:00:11

And we find out why this chicken is wearing a jumper.

0:00:110:00:16

Straight to last night's Champions League action,

0:00:240:00:29

and where else to start but the six-goal thriller

0:00:290:00:31

at Celtic Park, where Celtic claimed their first Champions League

0:00:310:00:33

point with a draw against Manchester City.

0:00:330:00:34

The hosts led twice in the first half, but City came back each time,

0:00:350:00:39

Nolito rounding off the goals in the second half.

0:00:390:00:41

3-3 the final score.

0:00:410:00:43

Elsewhere, Arsenal cruised to a 2-0 victory at home against Basel,

0:00:470:00:49

with both goals from Theo Walcott.

0:00:490:00:51

The Gunners top their group after two games.

0:00:510:00:55

On to football of the gaming kind now, and if you're a Fifa fan you'll

0:00:570:01:00

know exactly what I'm talking about.

0:01:000:01:04

Fifa 17 has been released, and with new attacking techniques

0:01:040:01:07

and improved artificial intelligence, it's got fans excited.

0:01:070:01:08

Here's Radio 1 Newsbeat reporter Steffan Powell with more.

0:01:080:01:11

Instead of me telling you about it, why don't I show you how it's done?

0:01:110:01:14

One of the main changes they've introduced this year is a thing

0:01:140:01:17

called a driven shot.

0:01:170:01:20

So you know sometimes when you are like one-on-one

0:01:200:01:22

with the keeper and you do the finesse shot top corner,

0:01:220:01:25

and it works every time?

0:01:250:01:26

Well, now you have the option of doing a driven shot,

0:01:260:01:29

hit it nice and low, bottom corner, straight at the keeper,

0:01:290:01:32

whatever you want to do.

0:01:320:01:33

A driven shot.

0:01:330:01:34

You can also head the ball downwards, so whereas before your

0:01:350:01:38

options when it came to heading have been a bit more limited

0:01:380:01:41

than some of the other shots.

0:01:410:01:42

Now when you get across, go on, Navas.

0:01:420:01:44

Just blocked it.

0:01:440:01:45

One of the biggest things you'll notice when you are playing

0:01:450:01:48

the new Fifa is not necessarily how you're playing but how

0:01:480:01:50

the players you're playing with a playing as well.

0:01:500:01:55

They have changed the artificial intelligence, and so players make

0:01:550:01:57

better runs, more different runs, so you are looking for options,

0:01:570:02:00

it is easier to pass the ball.

0:02:000:02:01

Sorry, I am just trying to make sure I don't concede a goal

0:02:010:02:04

there.

0:02:040:02:05

Oh, no!

0:02:050:02:06

Phew.

0:02:060:02:07

Put it wide.

0:02:070:02:09

Back to reality, though, and to football on the pitch.

0:02:130:02:22

Former England captain Alan Shearer says England are the "laughing

0:02:220:02:24

stock" of world football after manager Sam Allardyce resigned

0:02:240:02:27

after just one game in charge.

0:02:270:02:28

So, what can the team do to improve?

0:02:280:02:30

And who should take over next?

0:02:300:02:31

Kids in Bolton, where Sam lives, told us what they think.

0:02:310:02:34

I think England as a team could get better by working

0:02:340:02:37

together and passing more, and the could also work

0:02:370:02:39

on the attacking strengths.

0:02:390:02:40

They can work together as one nation and support each other through

0:02:400:02:43

the new difficulties in time.

0:02:430:02:46

I think Alan Pardew should be the new England manager

0:02:460:02:48

because he already has a lot of experience of playing football

0:02:480:02:51

and managing a team.

0:02:510:02:54

I think David Beckham could be a really good manager,

0:02:540:02:57

because he played for England, and he played for big

0:02:570:02:59

teams like real Madrid, PSG and Manchester United.

0:02:590:03:04

I think the next English manager should be Alan Shearer,

0:03:040:03:06

because he is a great role model and he has very good experience.

0:03:060:03:10

He could find the players' weaknesses and turn

0:03:100:03:11

them into strengths.

0:03:110:03:15

I think they have a good manager who can show

0:03:150:03:17

them where the negatives are and where the positives are,

0:03:170:03:20

and they can improve and get better.

0:03:200:03:21

Now to the Maldives in the Indian Ocean,

0:03:230:03:25

where more than 60% of coral reefs have been left damaged by pollution

0:03:250:03:28

and rising temperatures.

0:03:280:03:29

And it's a problem facing the rest of the world, too.

0:03:290:03:31

Here's Naz.

0:03:310:03:35

Clear blue seas and beautiful beaches.

0:03:360:03:38

This is the Maldives.

0:03:380:03:43

But what lies beneath the beautiful water is a different story.

0:03:450:03:49

It should be full of these - bright, colourful, healthy coral

0:03:490:03:52

reefs which fish live in.

0:03:520:03:56

But climate change means we've had warmer summers,

0:03:560:03:58

and now lots of the coral here is damaged.

0:03:580:04:02

The Maldives is made only of corals, and if the corals won't survive,

0:04:020:04:06

the Maldives won't survive.

0:04:060:04:08

It's called coral bleaching.

0:04:080:04:11

It happens when the water temperature gets a couple of degrees

0:04:110:04:14

hotter than normal for two weeks or more.

0:04:140:04:16

The coral changes colour to white, and it's left damaged.

0:04:160:04:22

And it's not the only place in the world affected.

0:04:220:04:25

Australia's famous Great Barrier Reef has had plenty

0:04:250:04:28

of its coral reef damaged.

0:04:280:04:30

Then there's Hawaii and Japan.

0:04:300:04:32

These experts from Sea Life Centres in the UK and Germany have travelled

0:04:340:04:37

thousands of miles to help the Maldives.

0:04:370:04:41

We've just come back from the first snorkel of the trip.

0:04:450:04:47

It's the first chance we've had to see the frames that were put

0:04:470:04:51

in the water last year.

0:04:510:04:52

It's not been great.

0:04:520:04:53

There was some growth, so fragments were attached

0:04:530:04:55

with the cable ties, and the corals have overgrown

0:04:550:04:57

the cable ties, which is a good thing.

0:04:570:04:59

Our contribution to the Maldives is 75 square metres of coral reef.

0:04:590:05:02

It is the advancement of a project that is going to regenerate the reef

0:05:020:05:05

after such a horrific bleaching event.

0:05:050:05:07

It's hoped work like this will one day reverse some of the damage,

0:05:070:05:10

giving fish here a healthy, happy home to live in once again.

0:05:100:05:15

Thanks, Naz.

0:05:220:05:25

Now to those chickens wearing knitted jumpers!

0:05:250:05:26

For a long time, these battery hens have been living in cages and aren't

0:05:260:05:30

used to being outdoors.

0:05:300:05:31

They've now been rescued and rehomed by an animal charity,

0:05:310:05:34

but they get cold quickly.

0:05:340:05:34

Thanks to these knitters from Yorkshire, they're now feeling

0:05:340:05:37

rather cosy in their new jumpers!

0:05:370:05:38

And there's always enough time on Newsround for cute leopard cubs.

0:05:390:05:42

They were born two months ago at a zoo in Beijing,

0:05:420:05:44

and keepers say they're in good health with big appetites,

0:05:440:05:47

feeding on their mum's milk while also enjoying eggs and beef.

0:05:470:05:49

They haven't left their mum's side since being shown off to the public.

0:05:490:05:52

That's all from me.

0:05:520:05:56

Newsround's back with Naz at 4.20.
