Morning Newsrounders, Ayshah here with all you need to know,

including: The snow storms causing havoc in the US and the pooches

showing the pros just how you score a touchdown. This is Newsround.

But first, military vehicles could be sent in to help the residents of

flood hit Somerset by the end of the day. Military planners have been

sent to the area to decide how they can help to prevent further

flooding, with more heavy rain expected over the weekend. Some of

the villages have been flooded for nearly a month, and on Monday we'll

be spending the day with Emily and Gemma, who are having to take the

boat to school because the water levels are so high.

And the bad weather of an altogether colder kind continues in the US

where thousands of people have been trapped on motorways and in schools

by a snowstorm and icy roads. In Ohio, high winds created what's

known as 'snow rollers'. We didn't know much about them, so we asked a

BBC weather expert to tell us more. He's turned up in America but we can

occasionally get them in this country as well. You need three

things to make one. First, had, icy ground. On top of that, you need a

few centimetres of snow to former, the sort that is ideal for making

snowballs. If you get a strong wind blowing across that circus, it will

pick up little bits and blow it along. And then it will roll up like

carpet. And then you will end up with lots of snow rollers. The

strange thing is nobody ever sees them being formed. Music fans from

the number of dogs, and in particular puppies, being illegally

brought in to the country has tripled over the past two years.

There are now concerns that some of those dogs may be carrying dangerous

and in some cases deadly viruses. Martin has been at a kennels in

Chesterfield this morning. Last year, 376 dogs were stopped entering

this country illegally. Often, the dogs are both in other countries for

very little money and then sold here in the UK for Fuge rocket. -- for a

huge profit. Mike Binks the manager of these kennels joins me now. Have

you witnessed a rise in smuggled dogs and how are they getting in to

the country? We have seen a big increase. Well over 100 in the last

two years. It tends to come into the country in the back of a van or a

car. Why is this a big problem? Customs are not checking them, so

they bring in various diseases from Europe. Particularly rabies, which

is very dangerous. What advice would you give to any people watching that

are thinking about buying a puppy? Try to go to registered breeders.

There are dog clubs around. People know the reputable breeders. Thanks,

Mike. Great talking to you. Now the government has told us said that the

UK operates a strong checking regime to make sure pets entering the

country don't pose a risk to animal and human health. But there are

concerns from some like Mike that the checks don't go far enough. Back

Sunday marks the return of what is known as the 'greatest show on

earth'. The Super Bowl is the biggest game in American football

and is as famous for its half-time show as the game itself. But it

looks like this year the real show stoppers are these guys. This is the

'PuppyBowl', a two hour show where pooches show the pros how to really

score a touchdown! All the animals on show are up for adoption

including 66 puppies, 21 kittens and even some birds.
