Newcastle Gateshead has ever seen - oh yes I'm talking about Newsround's

world record breaking challenge that saw Ricky take on Ayshah right here.

seconds. That is kind of fast. 321 go. So the next challenge is

stories England's preparations for next month's World Cup in Brazil got

off to a good start at Wembley last night. Roy Hodgsons men beat Peru

three nil in their last home game before the tournament. Liverpool

striker Daniel Sturridge scored the opener, and says he's happy with how

the team is looking. It was a good night's work, good

progression for us for the first game in the World Cup . I don't want

to get too carried away, as I said it's all preparation and so it is

not really about scorelines or about how we played, we just need to take

positives out of the game and move forward now.

The Commonwealth Games Baton Relay returns to England today.

It's back for the first time since the queen put a special

message inside and sent it off from Buckingham palace last October.

The baton's been round the world since then visiting commonwealth

nations and territories ahead of this summer's games in Glasgow.

It arrived in Manchester this morning

and the BBC's Ben Moore was there. We're here in the national cycling

Centre in Manchester. This was built in 2002, the last time the

Commonwealth Games were in the UK. It is a very good place for the

baton to come. As it starts its journey around England. I have two

very well-known here, Jess varnish, and Matt Crampton. Jess, the games

are coming, are you excited? I really can't wait to have the games

here in the UK. And if you look over your shoulder there, you see the

team that used to be a part of. Yes, I started here at the age of 14. I

used to come down here, a sport is so accessible now. Thank you, the

baton is now going all around England to lots of CDs all over

England and the UK. It is a very busy baton, so it is leaving your

very shortly. and the BBC's Ben Moore was there.

and earlier this morning a massive announcement was made.

The name of the Dumping Ground dog. Thousands of you suggested names and

have been voting on your favourite. So was it Oliver, Rudy or Mischief?

Earlier I caught up with Cel - one of the celebrity judges involved

in naming the dog. He is called Mischief. Brilliant, I

couldn't have done better myself. Why did you go with that name which

Mark we believe that in the Dumping Ground, he is going to get up to a

bit of mischief, but he is loved. He is quite cheeky, so we thought that

name was appropriate, and at the end of the day, it is the audience who

voted. But what is wrong with Timothy or Jonathan, those really

strong names. Those are a bit standard. I really liked Rudy, but I

got voted out. Eight, what do we think of Rudy?
