Today, our legends confront a challenge

that beat them all last series.

Here are the rules.

Each competitor has 30 seconds to form a horizontal line of dice

before lifting them with two fingers,

which must keep touching the dice throughout.

They must lift the dice to a height

of at least 45.7 centimetres.

And hold them there for five seconds.

And the record to beat

is a colossal 40 dice.

Cherry's up first, and he looks focused.

Three, two, one, go!

Cherry is using the dual-hand method to form his line of dice.

And Cheeky's hair is so excited, it's bobbing around with joy.

Cherry's constructed a crooked column,

but operation dice dishevelling is go.

Precision is paramount in professional pinch picking.

Five, four, three,

two, one, stop.

Building time is over.

Now for the lift.

The crowd barely dare to breathe as the great man raises his dice.

-Cherry! Cherry!

-Impressively, they can still chant, though.

Cherry! Cherry! Go, go, Cherry!

Now for the 5-second hold.

But he's looking shaky and in pain.

-Stop.

-Yes!

Cherry has conquered his Everest.

And doesn't he know it?

But here cometh the little man,

my mini mountaineer, US Ray!

Three, two, one, go!

And look at him go.

This is fastidious finger work.

Meticulous dice placement too.

This level of precision impresses me.

And so it should.

two, one, stop.

-Can he lift it?

-You must lift the dice, Ray.

A little warm-up and we're good to go.

Oh, no!

Almost a drop, but he recovered

and crucially it looked like his fingers stayed touching the dice.

Come on, Ray!

Whoa, a spectacularly speedy lift!

Now for the 5-second hold.

Stop.

That is the smile of a man that is delighted with his dicey deeds.

Now to the Sizzler. Last time he pinched too hard.

Can he be gentle this time? Or is he too pumped?

-Steve, are you ready?

-Yeah, I guess so.

Oh, he is pumped.

Go!

Head down, eager fingers, Steve is determined not to fail this time.

He's barely allowing himself time to blink.

Blinking is for the weak-willed pinch picker.

Sizzler's will is superhumanly strong.

Steve! Steve! Steve!

Five, four, three,

two, one, stop.

He added one more dice at the last second. He wants this.

It's lifting time.

Come on, Steve.

Yes.

No.

Whoa! Did I just see what I think I did?

He's completely changed grip.

Did his finger stop touching the dice?

And did Shantha see?

A nation holds its breath.

That new grip is working.

I think he's going to make it.

Even Ray is happy for Sizz. Heart-warming stuff.

Well done.

Three epic escalations. But did anyone get near that target of 40?

Over to official adjudicator, Shantha.

Do we have a record?

No, we don't.

GROANS

But there's still the all-important point to play for.

Shantha, over to you.

In third place, with a disqualified attempt...

..is Steve.

Shock waves reverberate throughout the Bunker...

..emanating from Sizzler's furious face.

Shantha did spot that Sizzy finger fumble before his successful lift.

Instant disqualification.

In first place...

..with a total of 27 dice...

..is Ray.

US-Yay!

Simmering Steve actually matched Ray's lift of 27 dice,

but the finger fail gifts the point to Team USA,

just as the audience predicted.

And Ray catapults himself

to the top of the leaderboard.

Which he could literally do

if he wanted to.

This is Andrew Henderson,

a pro-freestyler who's worked with soccer superstars Ronaldo,

Messi and even beat Neymar in a freestyle football battle.

To perfect his mind-boggling foot juggling,

he trains for five hours every day.

But footballs are just too easy.

So today, Andrew will freestyle with a rugby ball,

attempting the record for...

Here are the rules.

A competition standard size 5 rugby ball must be used.

There must be a clear space between ball and neck

for a throw to be valid.

Should the ball touch the floor at any time, the attempt is over.

And the record attempt doesn't have to take place in a disco.

But who doesn't love a glitterball?

For the record, Andrew needs to do this 20 times in 30 seconds.

Only 3% of the Bunker brigade think he'll do it.

Andrew must start with the ball in position on the back of his neck.

Three, two, one, go!

First one. It's so hard to balance the ball.

Andrew does brilliantly to save that wobbly landing, but he's going

to need cleaner catches to have a chance at the record.

A good start, a strong start. But you can see how difficult it is.

Righting himself each time. Come on, Andrew.

This is much better.

Andrew's really finding his rhythm now.

10 seconds.

Look how his eyes follow the ball in the air

until the last possible moment.

There is no margin for error.

A good push on this now.

Great rhythm.

Yeah, he's kept it. He's kept going.

Time.

Oh, Andrew failed to make that final catch. Could it be a record?

In order to achieve the record, you needed 20 neck throw and catches.

On that occasion, there were 17 complete.

So close. But early wobbles

and that frenetic finish really cost Andrew.

And it didn't get any better.

Attempt... Oh, never mind.

..after attempt...

..after attempt.

-Time.

-Oh, no!

..after attempt.

Until finally, almost one hour after his first failed attempt,

it looks like Andrew is about to complete

-a precision perfect 30 seconds.

-Time.

Oh! That looked good. That looked so good.

Time as it landed.

Oh, wow!

Let's have another look.

I can't take much more of this.

Has he done it?

On this attempt, you did perform 20,

but the 20th catch came just after the 30-second mark.

Andrew was just 0.36 seconds from glory.

He is physically and emotionally exhausted.

Can he find the energy for one last attempt?

Three, two, one, go!

And Andrew has found his rhythm right from the start.

He's glued to the spot and every throw and catch is low and clean.

If Andrew keeps this up, it could be the one.

Andrew's in the zone, pushing through the pain.

Just 10 seconds left and he's upping the pace. Come on, Andrew!

-Time.

-Oh, come on, come on!

He gave it everything. But was it a record?

On this attempt, you managed...

..20, which is a brand-new Guinness world record title!

Look at that!

Absolutely brilliant.

Barely anyone thought he'd do it.

But Andrew never gave up.

What a performance from Andrew.

And the 3% of the Bunker crew who had faith in him.
