Previously on Officially Competitive...

On paper, it was as easy as a stroll in the park

but the heel toe walk was a shambles.

Disqualified.

That triple DQ sees

Ray still topping the leaderboard

and living the dream but that dream

could turn into a nightmare

because today's record is...

most uncooked rice grains moved

with chopsticks in 30 seconds.

Chopsticks?

NO-O-O-O-O!

They're Super Ray's kryptonite.

Ugh! Let's get the rules.

The rice must be taken from one bowl

and placed into a second bowl

one grain at a time.

The bowls must be a minimum of 50 centimetres apart

and only one hand may be used.

And the record to beat is 22

rice grains moved in 30 seconds.

So, who do you think will win this sticky challenge?

Cherry's the favourite in the Bunker

but 7% have loyally predicted

victory for Ray, despite his

chequered chopstick past.

-And he's up first.

-Ray, are you ready?

Come on, Ray, silence the doubters.

Any time now, Ray.

It's taken him seven seconds just to pick the chopsticks up!

That's almost a quarter of the time gone already!

Oh, man, they're upside down!

Or is that deliberate?

Well, that's one grain moved.

He's having some trouble

but could this maverick technique be the key to smashing this record?

By Ray's chopstick standards, that verged on the heroic.

Indeed, and his attempt at the end

to waft an imaginary grain

through the air into the bowl

was a particular highlight.

Meanwhile, the Sizzler, who's twice held the one-minute

version of this record, has chosen brown rice.

It's healthier, but is it faster?

He's thinly spread a few dozen grains on his personal white

saucer and his special glass bowl is in place.

Perfect, if protracted, preparation.

But now, he is ready.

That's the first one in.

No panic here from Sizzle Bizzle. He's as cool as rice.

Ricey ruination as Steve's grain pings off the lip of the bowl

and tumbles to the abyss below.

How critical might that single grain be?

Well, it hasn't phased him.

Look at that laser-eyed focus on this tricky task.

Oh! He sent that last one skittering across the tabletop.

But he's still deposited enough rice grains to make at least half

a teaspoon of rice pudding.

And now to Cherry.

He's gone for a mountain of black rice

and a high sided personalised popcorn bucket.

He's obviously taking this very seriously.

Japanese!

Is Cherry on fast forward?

No, but he's so fast the human eye can barely keep up.

This is jaw-dropping speed.

Look at the explosion as his sticks strike at the heart of that

huge mass of rice.

If he moves that lot, he'll annihilate the record of 22.

I think this is tactical.

When he digs in, he's almost guaranteed to grab a grain

and he doesn't waste time chasing single ones round a plate...

..Steve.

But sometimes, he's snagging more than one at a time

and those grains will not count.

-Well, that was fast.

Mr Cherry wins, just as 67% of the Bumper Crew knew he would,

his super speedy technique

destroying Steve's score

of eight grains and moving him to

the top of the leaderboard with Ray.

Now, meet Alula.

Three of the world's leading cyr wheel artists.

A cyr wheel is a steel ring which can spin gyroscopically.

That means it can rotate and move in every possible direction,

perfect for spectacular circus skills.

Today, the Alulas will attempt the world record for...

Which means spinning like this

with all three of them in the wheel at once.

Lil, Jess and Fiona, how hard is it to fit three of you in one wheel?

It is hard, we've worked on various different ways of doing it.

We've found Jess in the splits works best for us.

And when you say Jess in the splits...

So, Jess is in the middle with her legs split like that.

-Doing the splits?

-Doing the splits.

-That's what you mean, doing the splits.

-Actually doing the splits.

And then me and Lil are kind of sandwiching her on either side

and then we pull and push on each of our feet and get it spinning.

How hard is it?

It's tough for Jess because she has to sit in over split.

-Split for, like, a minute.

-And then it's tough for us

-because we have to just, we have to power on through.

-Yeah.

We've never done it for a minute before either

so that's been a challenge.

Shhh!

Shush! Shhh!

Well, there can be no cyr-ing without rule adhering.

All three contestants must be holding the wheel

with their hands and feet apart.

Only full 360 degree rotations will count.

And should any contestant touch

the floor, the attempt is over.

The world record target

is 20 rotations in one minute.

The Bunker Crew are casting their votes and 47% predict that

Alula will spin their way to glory, but what do you think?

This is it, spincredible scenes.

Just three spins in and they completely lost momentum,

leaving Fiona no choice but to abandon the attempt.

They said they'd never done a full minute

-but surely they can do more than that?

The Alula girls are getting straight back on the wheel.

A fluid rhythm and perfect pace.

But can they maintain it for the full minute?

This is such a hard record.

They have to combine balance, power and teamwork,

all while getting dreadfully dizzy.

And let's not forget that Jess is doing all of that in the splits!

They're really having to dig deep now. Just a few seconds left.
