Whose family are we going to meet today?

Oak and Bodhi's.

Oak is six, Bodhi is four and they are brothers.

They live with their dad and mum near the sea.

I wonder what they're up to today.

Oak and Bodhi are dressing up. Today, they're pirates.

-It's the captain's hat!

-That's right. You put it on Oak's head.

Thank you, first mate Bodhi.

Turn round a minute, so Bodhi can put it on.

You will taste the end of my sword. My sword!

Dad's going to be a pirate, too.

Captain Oak is drawing a map. I think it's a treasure map.

Once we get the repairs ready, the boat is going to start sailing.

But, once it starts sailing, there's going to be a few big waves.

-Ooh.

-Once we get north, lightning.

-Yes, lightning!

-Here, it's the sea monster.

-OK.

-This is his big tusks.

-MUM GASPS

-He's got tusks as well?

Yeah. Here is the treasure.

So, there's a sea monster guarding the treasure.

We start...there!

No sea monster is going to stop Captain Oak.

Ship ahoy, Captain!

My grandad was a pirate. Buccaneer Ship, he was.

OK, let's go now.

Don't forget the map!

Captain Oak and first mate Mum are going in search of treasure.

Shipmate Bodhi and Dad guard the pirate den.

-Because we're going north.

-OK, that's this way, towards the rock.

No, the thunder.

Right.

-Where are we now, Captain?

-We are near...there. Near the waves.

OK, Captain.

So, I think we should go around the waves,

otherwise the ship will crash.

OK, Captain.

We're near the first cave of the Squid Of Terror.

The Squid Of Terror must be the sea monster.

We came from all the way from here to here.

Where that cross is is the monster in that cave.

That's the only way in and that's the only way out.

Argh!

Wait a minute, Captain Oak has spotted a dragon.

-Hold up!

-Argh! Argh!

An invisible dragon! That won't keep brave Captain Oak from the treasure.

Argh! Ow! Back!

Oh, quick! Dig, quick. What can you see, Captain?

What has he found? Is it a dragon's egg?

Open that, Captain, see what's inside.

What have you found, Captain?

And, best of all, treasure!

-Time to go home. I'm weary.

-Me too.

What a brilliant adventure these pirates have had.

HE PLAYS HARMONICA

To celebrate the defeat of the invisible dragon,

it's time for a pirate jig.

HE CONTINUES PLAYING HARMONICA

BODHI SINGS TO HIMSELF

After the jig, what better than a song about dinosaurs?

-DAD LAUGHS

-I thought you were going to say,

"I'm going to bite off my grandma's head."

It's back to the music again.

-Uh-oh!

-Oh! What have I done?

Oh, no! The maracas have broken

and the balls that make the noise have rolled everywhere.

There's some over there, there, there.

There's some more over there? How did they get over there?

-There's one under your bottom.

-Argh!

-They're all different sizes, look.

It takes the whole pirate crew to pick them up and put them back.

-Oh, no! What's happened?

-It's not my fault.

-Oh, no, there's one escaping!

-I got one.

Have you got more?

Shall we glue it, Bodhi?

Still working? Is it still working?

-Yeah.

-Phew!

Careful, Bodhi.

Oh, dear.

Uh-oh!

# We're going to make some sandwiches

# Make some sandwiches. #

Oak and Bodhi are making sandwiches.

THEY LAUGH

I picked up the whole packet. Do I need this much?

That might be a little bit too much, Oak.

And I will then get a bag. Right.

A sandwich, I made a sandwich!

I thought they were to take to the park, Bodhi?

The boys ride to the park, Oak on his scooter, Bodhi on his bike.

That's it.

Dad's a whizz on the scooter.

Showing Oak how it's done.

Ready? On your marks, get set, go, go, go, go, go!

Come on.

Oak's turn. Will he be as good as Dad?

Come on. Keep going.

MUM LAUGHS

Whoops!

Whoo! You're passing me, you're passing me.

Good boy! Whoa! Nearly.

Now, watch out for Bodhi.

THEY LAUGH

Bodhi! Don't make me stop.

Oak is a bit worried they might bump into each other, but he has a plan.

Once I have reached all the way to the end, you can go,

once I wave at you.

-And then...

-Can't you go that way and I can go that way, please?

I'm so sorry, I can't.

I might bump into people, because I can't really stop.

Once I get to the end, I'll wave at you. Not yet, though.

Right, off you go, Oak.

That's looking steady.

All clear. It's Bodhi's turn.

-Go, Bodhi!

-Feet up!

Keep nice and steady.

Wave to Bodhi.

Oh!

MUM LAUGHS Oh, are you OK, Oak?

Come on, soldier, up you get.

Bodhi rushes to make sure his brother is not hurt.

-Come on.

-Are you OK?

-I think so.

Mum checks him over, but there's no harm done.

Back on the scooter.

Lift it, lift your foot.

And the bike.

It's hungry work, scooting and riding. Sandwiches all round.

What's in Dad's sandwich?

It's cheese.

And, refuelled, everyone is ready to explore the playground.

-Watch!

-Ready? Whoo-hoo!

Including Dad.

Ready, steady, go!

Wow! A pirate ship.

Great for hide and seek.

Boo!

THEY LAUGH

All sleepy pirates like a bedtime story.

"..Superworm the swing, the slide,

"the hula-hoop, the fairground ride.

"Superworm, the belt, the hat,

"the crane, the train, the acrobat.

Superworm is super long,

"Superworm is super strong.

"Watch him wiggle, see him squirm.

"Hip-hip-hooray for Superworm!"

That's the end.

Time to clean their teeth, before settling down for bed.
