The Mega Ambo Pop Slam!

We have had nine awesome Pop Slams in this series.

It's now time to look back

at some of the best moments from all the shows,

plus some unseen treats.

I'm Amberley Lobo, and this is Pop Slam!

Going into the "Pop Slam!" ring, we've got all of our stars.

We've seen 18 acts go head-to-head in an effort to win the Ambo.

Some have been victorious, others not so lucky.

But it's now time to find out

who has been the best pop star of them all.

I'm going to be picking my most pop-tastic moments from the series

to see who has what it takes

to be crowned the ultimate "Pop Slam!" champion

and take home this little beauty -

the Mega Ambo.

It's time for the ultimate Pop Slam!

Round One is all about

how our Pop Slammers got started on the road to stardom.

Over the series, I travelled across the UK,

America, Australia and New Zealand,

meeting some amazing people

and unearthing some pretty incredible stuff.

I have had loads of fun digging around

and meeting the people who used to know our stars back in the day,

finding out what they used to get up to.

And, of course, while I've been out and about

I've been getting a little bit involved, too.

I travelled to Houston, Texas

to work out in the very park where Beyonce

used to do pop star training sessions with her dad.

I joined Paloma Faith's old theatre director

to do some ghostly dancing,

just like Paloma did back in the day.

It was great seeing the places our stars grew up in

but let me tell you something that was even better -

seeing some classic old photos of them.

Here's my top five.

In fifth place, Lorde at her old intermediate school

looking super fly and happy as Larry.

At number four, we have Demi Lovato at age eight

winning the Texas State Cinderella Miniature Miss.

So cute there, Miss Lovato.

In third place, we have got a young Danny Jones from McBusted

rocking his guitar with his sister, Vicky.

At two, it's Ariana Grande. Awesome curls there, Ari.

You look slightly like a young Amberley Lobo. Nice!

And at number one, it's the legendary Labrinth

clearly getting into the rhythm from when he was just a little nipper.

Cute!

Oh, that is an awesome picture of little Lab.

But will it be enough to win him the Ambo?

Right now, it's time for Round Two.

Round Two looked at the incredible effort our stars put in to stay big.

They have been mega busy -

touring, recording albums, writing songs, collaborating...

Whatever it takes to keep them sat at the top of the charts.

One thing all our stars have in common

is they all put on some epic shows.

Here is a rundown of my top five performances

from our "Pop Slam!" stars.

At number five, it's Paloma Faith

performing with a massive orchestra and choir

at an extra special performance for the BBC Proms.

At number three

is Kylie Minogue's glamtastic Showgirls tour.

I mean, come on, that outfit is beyond amazing!

Hey!

In second place are 5SOS,

performing their killer track What I Like About You in LA in 2014.

And in the number one top spot is Beyonce,

performing Halo on her I Am world tour.

after that epic stage dive.

But not everyone's performances have been totally off the hook.

Even super megastars like Calum from 5SOS

have had the occasional nightmare on stage.

While they were on the road with a little band -

you might have heard of them, One Direction -

Calum had a slight wardrobe malfunction.

I didn't see it, I wasn't there,

but I imagine it went a little something like this.

"Hey, what's up? My name is Calum. Let's do this!"

-"Oh! Crikey, I've gone and done it!

"I've split my pants!

"Bruce! Bruce, we have a rock emergency!"

"What's up?" "I just need some more tape."

"More, Bruce!" "OK."

"Thanks, mate." "All right, see you."

That's right, Calum split his pants

and had to tape them up just so he could keep on rocking.

Now, that is what I call dedication. Nice one!

I have had a fair few performance problems myself.

cos you have to be able to sing and move

and not huff and puff too much.

cos the energy of the show'll go down.

Round Three is all about style.

And to get the Mega Ambo, the "Pop Slam!" stars

are going to have to prove they have it in bucketloads.

As we have seen throughout the series,

in order to be a top pop star,

you have to have some top pop style swagger.

So, of course, I rolled up my sleeves and got involved.

As well as cool fashion style,

our pop stars also have pretty awesome vacay style.

So it got me thinking, I should get my travel agent on

and come up with the perfect Pop Slam! holiday.

When you are on a "Pop Slam!" holiday,

you'll want to be eating somewhere super swanky, like this place.

Labrinth has style, right?

But he also has taste.

Literally.

Here's a bit of a scoop.

This supercool restaurant right here, called Mosaica,

is actually one of Labrinth's favourite places to eat.

In fact, he loves it so much, that he actually bought it.

It's just how he rolls!

After-dinner, you will defo want to do some off the hook activities,

like going quad biking with Selena Gomez.

Here she is tearing it up back at home in Texas.

like being taken on the perfect date

And going to Luke's fave ice cream spot

for a tub of the good stuff.

And for a proper "Pop Slam!" holiday,

you will absolutely want to go on a showbiz yacht,

which is exactly what Beyonce does.

So I got my old mate Danny to show me around

the type of cruiser Queen B takes out when she's on vacay.

Impress me, what's this thing got?

We have a Jacuzzi right here.

We have beautiful sun pads over there, a beautiful lounge area...

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I'm still taking in the Jacuzzi!

You just said you had a Jacuzzi on your boat.

I don't even have one in my home!
