That's the one called genius gorilla. Do you like animals?

-I love them.

This prank is sending you and Zach to a facility of animal research

where they're working with animal communication.

-Animals talking to you. Sound cool?

-That sounds really cool.

You guys will get there and there's a super-smart gorilla who loves

to communicate through dance and doesn't mind a math challenge.

-Do you like math?

-Depends?

-Does Zach like math?

-Math? Maybe not.

He's going to have a challenge with a gorilla who's smarter than Zach.

Then he's going to dance with the gorillas and the other gorilla

in the cage will get so jealous, he'll bust out of the cage

and come after you guys.

-That sounds really cool.

-It's going to be a gorilla thriller.

Ninjas! Take us to the studios.

It's time to stop monkeying around and head to Gasworks Arts Park,

where we'll see just how we're going to convince our prankee

that he's face to face with a live, genius gorilla.

-All right, so here we are at the artist's studios.

-Yep.

-Here's Lisa. How are you?

-Good, how are you, Scotty?

-Very well.

-Daniel, this is Lisa.

-Nice to meet you.

-Hi.

-Lisa is an artist.

'Lisa specialises in the study of primates. For over 20 years,

'she's created bronze sculptures, photographs and drawings.

'These works have been in exhibitions around the world.'

Her work is inspired by apes. She'll help us design the head

of our costume for your gorilla prank.

Lisa, can you tell us what you do?

As you can see, I'm a bit obsessed with apes. Chimpanzees, gorillas

and orang-utans are my favourites. So, I can help you today.

What's the process? How will we design it?

We start by doing a sketch and from there, I can build it,

-mould it and make it.

-A real scary one?

-Sounds good to me.

All right, guys, time to design this gorilla's mask.

I think we need to get the basic outline. Big, thick nostrils.

-Gorillas have got nostrils that flare out.

-Teeth would be good.

-You've got to feel the ape.

-I reckon the hairier the better.

This is our research lab, where we research the gorillas.

We found that gorillas don't really learn in the same way as humans.

They respond better to movements.

Here is a chart with some gestures that we use to communicate to Kiki.

So, how about you practise 'yes' for me. That's very good.

-I think she'll understand that. And 'no.'

-'These boys are naturals.'

-How about 'hello'?

-'With the basics out of the way,

'it's time for the boys to show where the true talents lie.'

They respond amazingly well to people dancing.

She really only talks to people she likes. How fabulous.

Let me do something she really likes.

-Why don't we do a test, because she loves tests.

-'Who doesn't?'

-What kind of test?

-A test with numbers.

Can you see in her enclosure she's got the numbers, 0-9?

-Yep.

-So, ask Kiki a question

and she points to the numbers to make the answer she wants.

and if she gets it right, she'll ask you a question

and that's how it goes on until someone gets the wrong answer.

She does need to see the bananas, though.

-KIKI: More Zach.

'Zach definitely has a natural talent for entertaining gorillas

and everyone watching Prank Patrol, too.'

-KIKI: Eat banana.

-'Eat bananas?!'

-KIKI: Zach, eat banana.

-Did you hear that?

-Yep.

-OK, well you start eating the bananas.

-I don't like bananas.

-Just come up to the screen so she can see you.

-Hmmm, yummy.

-That beams straight into her enclosure. Oh, look.

KIKI: Zach eat more banana.

This is the best I've seen her communicate with anyone.

-KIKI: I love Zach.

-'Time now for Zach to meet our other gorilla.

-'Kiki's extremely jealous boyfriend, Coco.'

-Look at Coco.

-'Uh oh.'

-KIKI: I love Zach.

-'Don't let Coco hear you say that!'

-Kiki loves Zach.
