Today, Luke joins the Prank Patrol.

His mission - to convince his fishing buddy Tom

that a terrifying, tentacled terror is on the prowl

for its next bite to eat.

This is Luke. He's a talented swimmer

who loves the water as well as pumping iron

and playing with his dog Sophie.

Prank Patrol, I need your help to prank my friend Tom.

We've been friends for a long time. It'd be great fun to prank him.

The target of Luke's prank is his mate Tom.

Like Luke, Tom is also a keen swimmer

who loves all sorts of sports. He also loves jumping around

and chilling out over chess.

Welcome to the Prank Patrol Spy Van. Great to have you here,

and it'd be really good if we could get something really slimy and gross.

Well, this is the prank. Trust me, it is a great prank.

We're going to send you, your dad and Tom along

-to do some fishing at a pontoon on a lake.

-Yeah.

Inside this lake, there'll be this big, slimy, disgusting creature

with tentacles. Squid monster, almost.

The first thing you guys are going to see along with Tom

-is some weird bubbles in the lake.

-Awesome.

The next thing you'll see is tentacles coming out of the water.

Fingers crossed that'll freak Tom out.

Next, there'll be a fisherman in the middle of the lake

and he'll be knocked out of his boat by this weird

Tentacle Of Terror creature. How does that sound?

It sounds really awesome.

Well, it gets even better. The grand finale is this creature

-is going to pull you into the water.

-Cool.

about your Tentacles Of Terror prank on Tom.

I've started making this tentacle. What do you think?

Will he be freaked out by it?

Definitely, but I think we should paint it more

-to make it look old and more sea...

-That's a great idea.

That sounds good. We can do that.

We can put a hole in so we can have someone's arm in to wave it around.

It's made of foam, so it's pretty easy to cut out.

I'll leave you two to it.

to trick Tom. Wow, try saying that three times fast!

Latest prank member Luke is out to pull off a tentacled terror prank

on his friend Tom. With the tentacles under construction,

it's time to head to the pool to see what kind of weird water effects

we can pull off to crank the scare factor on this prank.

I thought we'd introduce you to these guys.

We've got stunt co-ordinator Yasca and his assistant Nathan.

-How you going?

-Good.

-These guys have done tons of stuff for films,

including water effects. Tell them about the prank

-and they'll be able to sort you out.

-OK.

I'm pranking my friend Tom and we are going to try and make a lake monster.

We really need you guys to make some bubbles,

maybe a boat to tip over. We need all-round monster scariness.

Sounds good. Maybe we could pull you under the water, as well.

-That sounds good.

-Brilliant.

-If you can show us what you can do, that'd be awesome.

-No problem.

These guys are properly licensed professionals and make it look easy,

but diving can actually be dangerous.

So, what's going to happen - down he goes.

You're going to give him a signal, which is as simple

as doing that under the water.

He'll hear that and do a couple of bubbles.

The duck will go down and more bubbles will come up.

So, on action, give that cue.

Now, bubbles.

Now, duck.

Hopefully, Tom will think some monster has taken that.

He definitely will.

OK, here we are, Luke. This is the fishing line gag.

Here's our fishing line. It goes down to another anchor plate,

where our diver's at.

It'll go through a pulley and will have a weight on the end.

He think's he's got a fish, he starts pulling it in. Pull, pull.

Oh, I got something!

-Our diver is going to cut that line and then...

-Oh-ho-ho!

He'll think it's a fish or whatever, a monster has cut that line.

Sorry, guys, he got away.

This is another of our pranks -

the fisherman getting knocked by the monster.

The oar flips him out of the boat.

We'll have the divers waiting under the boat

and when they get the cue,

they'll give him a big old shunt like this.

-When the bubbles came up and he went under the boat.

My favourite part was when I got dragged in the water

with the monster. Yeah, that was really fun.

When Luke got dragged into the water,

I didn't know what to do and I was scared at the time.

I thought he was taken by a monster or octopus or something like that.

When the fisherman fell out of the boat, I felt scared.

I just wanted to get off the pontoon.
