0:00:330:00:37

Hello, I'm Justin.

0:00:380:00:40

Hey, shall we go somewhere special?

0:00:400:00:44

Yes.

0:00:440:00:46

Take some magic,

0:00:460:00:49

give it a blow.

0:00:490:00:51

And take a look at where we'll go.

0:00:550:00:58

Look, it's the stables

0:00:590:01:02

and the stables are where horses live.

0:01:020:01:05

But what will we look for at the stables?

0:01:050:01:08

A pony. A white pony.

0:01:100:01:13

A saddle.

0:01:150:01:17

And a riding hat.

0:01:190:01:21

We know the things we're looking for

0:01:210:01:25

so it's time to go through the magic door.

0:01:250:01:29

Look, the stables.

0:01:330:01:36

Let's go through the magic door.

0:01:360:01:40

Come on.

0:01:420:01:43

Oh, wow!

0:01:430:01:46

I'm here at the stables!

0:01:460:01:49

Come on, let's have a look around.

0:01:490:01:52

It's Mr Tumble!

0:01:530:01:56

-Hello, Mr Tumble!

-Oh, hello!

0:01:560:01:59

-Are you looking for Justin?

-Yes!

0:01:590:02:02

He's gone to look round the stables.

0:02:020:02:05

Yes, I know!

0:02:050:02:06

Do you want to go as well?

0:02:060:02:08

Yes!

0:02:080:02:10

Well, off you go then, Mr Tumble.

0:02:100:02:12

And we'll see you later.

0:02:120:02:14

Oh! Bye-bye! Oh!

0:02:140:02:17

This is Moy Stables in Northern Ireland.

0:02:230:02:27

It's early in the morning and time for the horses' breakfast.

0:02:270:02:32

The horses like to eat hay and lots of it!

0:02:350:02:38

They're hungry today.

0:02:380:02:40

Oh, and more breakfast for you!

0:02:400:02:43

Out in the fields, there are lots of ponies.

0:02:530:02:57

Now ponies are small horses and it's time for their breakfast too.

0:02:570:03:02

Let's say hello to the really tiny pony.

0:03:040:03:07

Oh, and hello to the smart, grey pony.

0:03:080:03:12

'It's time to meet my friends.

0:03:140:03:17

'Ah!'

0:03:170:03:20

Hey! Look! Here are my friends!

0:03:200:03:23

This is Natasha.

0:03:230:03:25

Hello, Natasha!

0:03:250:03:27

Hello!

0:03:270:03:29

Oh, and this is Michael!

0:03:290:03:32

Hello, Michael!

0:03:320:03:33

-Hello.

-Hello!

0:03:330:03:35

Hey, come on. Let's have a look around the stables.

0:03:350:03:40

Oh, and you can come too.

0:03:400:03:42

Come on, then.

0:03:420:03:43

'Natasha is saying hello to a horse and foal.

0:03:580:04:01

'A foal is a baby horse.'

0:04:010:04:04

And Michael is saying hello to a big brown horse.

0:04:100:04:14

That's it, Michael. Pat his nose.

0:04:140:04:18

Emma helps to look after the horses at the stables

0:04:290:04:32

and after breakfast there's another job to do.

0:04:320:04:35

Look.

0:04:350:04:37

Hey! Emma is brushing the horse.

0:04:370:04:42

The horse is looking very smart!

0:04:460:04:50

What do you think?

0:04:500:04:52

Hello, Jess.

0:05:020:05:04

Brushing the horse. Yeah.

0:05:070:05:10

Oh, but remember, we have to look for something special.

0:05:140:05:22

-Special.

-That's right!

0:05:220:05:23

So, Natasha, what shall we look for first?

0:05:230:05:27

What have you got there?

0:05:270:05:29

Ah, yeah!

0:05:290:05:32

Look! It's a white pony.

0:05:320:05:34

So we have to look for a white pony!

0:05:340:05:39

-Pony.

-That's right!

0:05:390:05:40

Oh, and you can help too!

0:05:400:05:42

Let's look over...

0:05:420:05:45

there!

0:05:450:05:47

Where is the white pony?

0:05:490:05:51

It's somewhere here.

0:05:510:05:53

When you see it, wave or cheer!

0:05:530:05:55

Well done, Natasha! You've found the white pony.

0:06:000:06:04

Can you see the white pony?

0:06:040:06:06

0:06:280:06:30

Well done, Jack! White pony.

0:06:320:06:35

Look, white pony.

0:06:360:06:39

Michael and Natasha have found a white pony.

0:06:420:06:45

They're saying hello.

0:06:450:06:47

Oh, wow!

0:06:490:06:51

What a beautiful white pony.

0:06:510:06:54

Now he's called Cecil.

0:06:540:06:57

Hey, you two, shall we feed Cecil?

0:06:570:07:00

Well Cecil likes apples!

0:07:020:07:04

And we've got some right here.

0:07:040:07:06

There you go, Cecil.

0:07:060:07:08

Oh, look at that.

0:07:080:07:10

Mmm!

0:07:100:07:11

Cecil likes to munch the apples.

0:07:170:07:20

Don't you? Yeah!

0:07:200:07:21

Cecil is a very gentle pony.

0:07:230:07:26

You know what, I think it's time to look for something special again.

0:07:280:07:34

Now, what have we got here?

0:07:340:07:36

Look - it's a saddle.

0:07:370:07:40

We sit on a saddle when we ride a horse.

0:07:410:07:44

So are you ready to look for a saddle?

0:07:440:07:50

OK!

0:07:500:07:51

Let's look over...there!

0:07:510:07:55

Where's the saddle?

0:07:560:07:58

It's somewhere here.

0:07:580:08:00

When you see it, wave or cheer!

0:08:000:08:03

Saddle.

0:08:390:08:42

Emma is putting the saddle on Cecil's back.

0:08:420:08:46

She's tying it nice and tight so it doesn't fall off.

0:08:480:08:52

And now she's pulling down a stirrup.

0:08:580:09:01

That's where you put your foot.

0:09:010:09:04

And now she's pulling down the stirrup on the other side.

0:09:040:09:08

Well the saddle and stirrups are ready!

-Oh, yes please!

0:09:510:09:55

Well you will need a horse.

0:09:550:09:57

Oh! Wait.

0:09:570:09:59

Mr Tumble is very funny!

0:10:040:10:07

That's a toy horse, Mr Tumble, not a real horse.

0:10:070:10:11

Look, Mr Tumble is jumping over the fences on his toy horse!

0:10:130:10:18

Steady, steady!

0:10:210:10:22

Go on, boy! Go on!

0:10:220:10:24

-Stop, Mr Tumble! Stop!

-Whoa!

0:10:240:10:26

Do you want to ride a real horse?

A real horse?

0:10:290:10:31

Yes, a real horse.

0:10:310:10:33

There's a horse over there, Mr Tumble.

0:10:340:10:37

This is Bobby, Mr Tumble.

0:10:370:10:39

Do you want to ride Bobby?

The horse's head and reins are behind you!

0:11:170:11:21

Get off the horse and start again, Mr Tumble.

0:11:230:11:27

HE SIGHS

0:11:270:11:29

Oh, Mr Tumble, before you try to get on again,

0:11:310:11:35

-can you teach us the sign for "reins"?

0:11:350:11:38

HE CLEARS HIS THROAT

0:11:380:11:40

Oh, look! Reins.

0:11:400:11:43

You sign "reins".

Using a sign language called Makaton, Something Special helps its audience learn how to communicate as well as develop their language in a fun and exciting way. Justin Fletcher presents songs, rhymes and visual humour all centred around themes that are familiar to young children. Justin visits stables in Northern Ireland and meets his friends Michael and Natasha. Before they go riding, they need to find three things: a white pony, a saddle and a riding hat. Mr Tumble wants to go horse riding as well. It is not long before he is allowed to try, and goes galloping off in a field.
