0:00:450:00:47

Hey! Hello, my friends. How are you today?

0:00:520:00:56

I'm here in the Lake District to meet my friends.

0:00:560:01:01

They just love the outdoors.

0:01:010:01:04

And they're going to show me their favourite outdoor activity. Hmmm...

0:01:040:01:11

I wonder what Mr Tumble is doing today.

0:01:110:01:15

-I'm playing on my Tumble Tap.

-'The Tumble Tap is fantastic!'

0:01:150:01:22

Oh, yes, it is.

0:01:220:01:25

What you have to do is tap the spot

0:01:250:01:28

and then you see a picture.

0:01:280:01:30

-Whoo-hoo!

-'Justin and his friends are going to love that.'

0:01:300:01:34

Oh, yes.

0:01:340:01:37

-'Put it in the spotty bag then, Mr Tumble.'

-Oh, OK.

0:01:370:01:43

'Don't forget the magic.'

0:01:470:01:49

Um, magic?

0:01:490:01:52

'Yes, the magic, to send the spotty bag to Justin and his friends.'

0:01:520:01:58

Oh, yes, the magic.

0:01:580:02:01

Oh! You are my friends, aren't you?

0:02:010:02:06

Will you help me?

0:02:060:02:08

Take your finger and touch your nose.

0:02:100:02:14

Blink three times and off it goes!

0:02:140:02:18

'Take your finger and touch your nose.

0:02:260:02:30

'Blink three times and off it goes.'

0:02:300:02:35

Aha! It's Mr Tumble's spotty bag. Thank you.

0:02:410:02:46

Oh, and hang on a minute, I think I can hear my friends. Come on.

0:02:480:02:53

Hello, guys! Hi. Now, this is Joshua.

0:02:550:02:59

0:02:590:03:02

Hello. And this is Isaac. Hello, Isaac.

0:03:020:03:07

-Hi.

-Hi.

0:03:070:03:09

Now, I hear that you two just love the outdoors, don't you?

0:03:090:03:14

And I don't blame you. Just have a look at this amazing view.

0:03:140:03:18

-Now, guys, do you know where we are today?

-At the lake.

0:03:180:03:21

That's right, we are on the lake. But what's the lake called?

0:03:210:03:26

-Windermere Lake, Justin.

-That right, it's called Windermere Lake.

0:03:260:03:30

Isn't it gorgeous, hey?

0:03:300:03:32

Now, I hear that you two just love outdoor activities. Is that right?

0:03:320:03:37

-Yeah.

-Shall we do some together?

-Yeah.

-OK!

0:03:370:03:42

Well, let's have a look inside...

0:03:420:03:47

Mr Tumble's spotty bag.

0:03:470:03:51

Look, it's the Tumble Tap. Isaac, would you like to tap the spot?

0:03:510:03:58

That's it. Oh!

0:03:580:04:01

-A canoe.

-That's right. It's a canoe.

0:04:010:04:05

Where's the canoe? It's somewhere here.

0:04:080:04:12

When you see it, wave or cheer.

0:04:120:04:14

Well done, boys. You've found the canoe.

0:04:140:04:18

Can you see the canoe? Yes, there's the canoe.

0:04:180:04:22

It's time to sign.

0:04:410:04:45

Well, boys. Here we are on the canoe!

0:04:460:04:50

This is very exciting, isn't it? Over here is Harry.

0:04:500:04:54

-Now, Harry is our instructor. Hello, Harry.

-Hello, Justin.

0:04:540:04:59

-We're ready.

-Off we go.

0:04:590:05:01

I'm going to do some paddling fast.

0:05:070:05:11

Well done, Joshua! You're right, we're paddling!

0:05:110:05:15

We're paddling really fast. Ha-ha! It's not easy.

0:05:150:05:19

You have to push the water back with your paddle to move forwards.

0:05:190:05:24

-Now, what can we see on this amazing lake?

-There's a boat over there!

0:05:240:05:29

Oh, yes. A big boat.

0:05:290:05:32

And look over there, we can see some boathouses.

0:05:320:05:37

-Harry?

-Yes.

0:05:370:05:39

-Shall we sail over that way?

-OK, off we go again, Harry.

0:05:390:05:44

There we go. A couple more strokes.

0:05:530:05:56

-Wow, they were good, eh, Harry?

-They were great.

-Fantastic.

0:05:580:06:03

And thank you so much, Isaac and Joshua,

0:06:030:06:07

for showing us how to paddle in a canoe.

0:06:070:06:12

I wonder what we're going to do next. What do you think, boys?

0:06:120:06:16

How about we look inside Mr Tumble's spotty bag again?

0:06:160:06:22

Ah! Good idea, Isaac.

0:06:220:06:25

Come on, then, let's go and look for Mr Tumble's spotty bag.

0:06:250:06:30

Now, where is that bag? Aha! There it is.

0:06:320:06:37

-Well, did you enjoy that canoeing?

-Yeah.

-Yeah. It was great fun.

0:06:370:06:42

I'm a bit chilly, though. Now, I wonder what we're going to do next.

0:06:420:06:49

I know what you want to do, Isaac.

0:06:490:06:51

You want to look inside...

0:06:510:06:54

-Of course you do. OK.

0:06:540:06:59

Here's the Tumble Tap. OK, Joshua, tap the spot.

0:06:590:07:04

What's that?

0:07:040:07:05

That's right, it's some hot chocolate,

0:07:050:07:09

just right, cos we're feeling a bit chilly.

0:07:090:07:12

Where's the hot chocolate? It's somewhere here.

0:07:140:07:18

-When you see it, wave or cheer!

-Hot chocolate!

0:07:180:07:21

Well done, boys, you've found the hot chocolate.

0:07:210:07:24

Can you see the hot chocolate? Yes. There's the hot chocolate.

0:07:240:07:29

It's time to sign.

0:07:290:07:31

0:07:330:07:36

Great, Emmanuel.

0:07:520:07:54

Well, here we are, relaxing with our delicious hot chocolate.

0:07:540:08:00

We're sitting here by the lake, the beautiful sunshine is here

0:08:000:08:04

and we're having a fantastic day.

0:08:040:08:07

And that canoeing was brilliant!

0:08:070:08:09

-TRUMPET FANFARE

-Hang on a minute.

0:08:090:08:12

What's that noise?

0:08:120:08:14

You know what, I think it's time for a Tumble Tale.

0:08:140:08:20

Shall we all call for Mr Tumble? After three, as loud as we can.

0:08:200:08:24

Why don't you join in too? Ready? Here we go.

0:08:240:08:27

One, two, three. Mr Tumble?!

0:08:270:08:33

'Hello, Mr Tumble.'

0:08:400:08:42

-Hello.

-'Are you camping in the garden?'

0:08:430:08:47

-Yes. With my toys.

-'What are you going to do first, Mr Tumble?'

0:08:490:08:55

Ta-da! I'm going to have a snooze in my hammock.

0:08:550:09:00

'Have a snooze in the hammock?'

0:09:000:09:04

Yes.

0:09:040:09:06

'How about putting the tent up?'

0:09:060:09:09

-Oh, good idea.

-'Do you know how to put the tent up, Mr Tumble?'

0:09:110:09:18

HE CHUCKLES

0:09:180:09:21

-No.

-'Look at the instructions.'

0:09:210:09:24

Instructions? Have a look.

0:09:270:09:29

Let's see. Oh, yes!

0:09:290:09:32

There, look.

0:09:320:09:34

'Mr Tumble, look!'

0:09:340:09:36

Aieee!

0:09:390:09:40

Oh, haha! Wow, look.

0:09:400:09:43

I put the tent up. Yeah.

0:09:430:09:46

Now I can put my toys inside the tent.

0:09:460:09:52

Woo-hoo! Come on then, toys. There we are. In you go.

0:09:520:09:58

There we are. And now I can have my snooze.

0:09:580:10:05

'But the toys are hungry, Mr Tumble.'

0:10:150:10:22

'Did you bring any food?'

0:10:220:10:25

Oh, yes, wait.

0:10:250:10:29

I just... Oi!

0:10:310:10:32

0:10:340:10:35

0:11:160:11:18

-I'm feeling thirsty.

-'Did you bring some water, too?'

0:11:200:11:24

Oh, hang on a minute.

0:11:240:11:26

Oh! Wait, yes, in my rucksack.

0:11:290:11:33

-Ta-da!

-I'll just...

0:11:330:11:36

-'Why don't you drink the water instead?'

-Yes.

0:11:380:11:45

Now I can have my snooze. I'll just go in...

0:11:470:11:54

Here we go. I'll just... Hey!

0:12:030:12:07

I'll just... Ooh!

0:12:090:12:11

Ta-da!

0:12:260:12:28

-'Good night, Mr Tumble.'

-Good night.

0:12:290:12:33

HE SNORES

0:12:360:12:39

THEY LAUGH

0:12:470:12:49

Mr Tumble is funny.

0:12:490:12:52

Mr Tumble makes Josh and Isaac laugh.

0:12:520:12:59

Well, we're having a fantastic day today, aren't we, boys?

0:12:590:13:05

We've been canoeing and we've had a delicious hot chocolate.

0:13:050:13:11

-Now, I wonder what activity we're going to do next.

-I know!

0:13:110:13:15

I hope it's something nice and gentle, what do you think?

0:13:150:13:19

-I know, I know!

-Let's have a look inside Mr Tumble's spotty bag.

0:13:190:13:26

I can't wait. I'm sure it's something relaxing, I've no doubt.

0:13:260:13:30

Would you like to tap the green spot? That's it.

0:13:300:13:34

Now then, what's that? Oh! It's a zip wire. A zip wire?!

0:13:340:13:41

Oh, my goodness, that doesn't look very relaxing.

0:13:410:13:46

Where's the zip wire? It's somewhere here.

0:13:460:13:50

-When you see it, wave or cheer.

-Yeah!

0:13:500:13:54

Well done, boys, you found the zip wire. Can YOU see the zip wire?

0:13:540:13:58

Yes, there's the zip wire.

0:13:580:14:01

It's time to sign.

0:14:010:14:03

-Zip wire.

0:14:040:14:08

-You sign.

-Zip wire.

0:14:090:14:12

Zip wire.

0:14:150:14:18

Great signing, Georgia.

0:14:180:14:21

Zip wire.

0:14:210:14:23

That's right, Ethan.

0:14:230:14:25

A zip wire is a really exciting ride.

0:14:270:14:31

You have to climb right up to the top

0:14:310:14:34

and then you get to zoom down, down, down the zip wire!

0:14:340:14:39

You have to be very brave, but it's great fun.

0:14:390:14:43

Well, here we are at the very top of the zip wire.

0:14:430:14:48

Woah! And I tell you what, it's really high up here, isn't it, Josh?

0:14:480:14:53

We're as high as all of the trees around us.

0:14:530:14:57

Whoa! Well, as you can see, we're strapped in and harnessed in

0:14:570:15:01

so we're safe and sound. Now the thing is,

0:15:010:15:04

-who's going to go first?

-Me!

-Aha!

0:15:040:15:09

Josh wants to go first. OK, Josh. Here we go.

0:15:090:15:14

Ready, steady...

0:15:140:15:16

-Go!

-Go!

0:15:160:15:18

Yay, Josh!

0:15:190:15:21

Fantastic. Wow.

0:15:220:15:24

Well done, Josh!

0:15:270:15:29

He's brilliant. He's also very brave.

0:15:290:15:32

-Well done, Josh!

-Come on, Justin!

0:15:360:15:39

-What's that, Josh?

-Come on, Justin! Go!

0:15:390:15:43

OK. Are you ready?

0:15:430:15:46

Feet up, here I go! Bye!

0:15:460:15:49

Aaaaah!

0:15:490:15:52

Waaaah! Oh, my goodness me.

0:15:520:15:54

This really is something special!

0:15:540:15:57

Justin, Justin!

0:15:590:16:02

Brilliant!

0:16:030:16:05

Oh, wow! I don't think I'll be going on it again though.

0:16:070:16:12

Who's coming next? It's Isaac.

0:16:130:16:17

Come on, Isaac.

0:16:170:16:18

Woo-hoo!

0:16:200:16:22

Isaac's very brave. He did it!

0:16:220:16:27

He went all the way down this very long zip wire.

0:16:270:16:32

-Well, I tell you what, my heart's still beating. Is yours?

-Yes.

0:16:320:16:37

-What an amazing day we've had today. What have we done, guys?

-Boat.

0:16:370:16:42

We went paddling in the canoe, and then we had a lovely...?

0:16:420:16:47

-Hot chocolate.

-And then the zip wire, and you guys were so brave.

0:16:470:16:54

-Whoo, What an adventure! Have you had a good time?

-Yeah!

-Good stuff.

0:16:540:17:00

-But you know what, it's time to send the...?

-Spotty bag back.

-To?

0:17:000:17:06

Mr Tumble.

0:17:060:17:09

That's right. So shall we do the rhyme together?

0:17:090:17:12

Why don't you join in too? Are you ready?

0:17:120:17:15

Take your finger and touch your nose.

0:17:150:17:19

Blink three times and off it goes.

0:17:190:17:25

Aha! My spotty bag. Thank you.

0:17:370:17:41

Using a sign language called Makaton, Something Special helps its audience learn how to communicate as well as develop their language in a fun and exciting way. Justin Fletcher presents songs, rhymes and visual humour, all centred around themes that are familiar to young children. Justin travels near and far to meet new friends all over the country.

Joshua and Isaac take Justin canoeing on Lake Windermere. He doesn't know that they have plans for him to ride down a very high and fast zip wire. He needn't worry - the boys will show him how it's done! Meanwhile in Tumbleton, Mr Tumble and his toys are also on an outdoor adventure - but all does not go according to plan!
