who tells us what it's like to live on a narrow boat.

And I'll be showing you a quick trick

that will make you look like a superhero.

the huge, ginormous Supersize Showdown.

It could get messy.

And we we'll be going on a fact-finding musical adventure.

I'm Cuba and I'm seven years old.

I've been for a walk and now I'm heading home.

I live on the canal boat with my mummy and daddy,

my sister Mia, and my cats Tabby and Slinky.

I've always lived on this boat.

This is the front room.

This is Mia's and mine drawing.

And that's the doll house.

And we're going to go in the kitchen.

This is where we make some food, like soup.

And this is all the fruit.

And we're going to go through to the bedrooms.

This is my bed, this is where all my toys are hanging up.

The best thing of living on a boat is moving around.

Most days, there's something new to see.

Put that in there.

Really gently. I'll help you.

'I like cooking with my mum.

'Today, where making gingerbread men.'

Really squish it.

'I love getting my fingers messy.'

Got the bigger one?

'And all the shapes.'

Push it down.

Really hard.

'Our cooker is a bit like a fire.

'It burns wood to make things hot

'and is always running.

'So it's nice and warm in the winter.'

'As we live on the canal

'we don't have a big back garden, but they don't mind.'

'Because sometimes we moor our boat right next to the park.

'So I get to run around there.'

Hey.

'Today me and Mia are having a race.'

'I love wildlife.

'I get to see lots of animals here on the canal.'

'I'm going pond dipping in the stream.'

'We're using a net and a glass

'to look at things in the water.'

Look right in front of you in the shallow bit.

'We found a tadpole.'

'One day it will turn into a frog.'

Well done.

'Outside our boat we grow flowers and herbs.'

You need some more water.

'And I help look after them.

'I love watering the flowers

'and seeing them grow.'

I'm so excited to be here,

but not as excited about the fact

that pond dipping could become a new sport.

And the winner, by 237 tadpoles, is Cuba!

Green-fingered Emilia is three

and has grown a cucumber -

it's a whopper!

This is Molly, she loved making this space rocket.

It's out of this world.

Four-year-old Penny loves all things sporty,

especially gymnastics.

Those moves are gym-tastic.

This is Max and his little sister, Jessie.

They had lots of fun playing in the sand dunes.

Great sand-surfing, dudes!

-It's my happy dance. I love dancing.

I love the dance.

Now it's time to really big up the fun.

It's the Supersize Showdown!

THEY CHEER

This is what I've been waiting for. But we can't do it by ourselves.

Luckily, we've got some Let's Go-ers to help us.

On the Blue team, we have Isaac, Islay, Bowden and Icra.

Let's see your game faces.

-Pretty cool.

-They mean business.

And on the Red team, we have Amy, Harvey, Harrison and Rigilla.

Show us what you got.

The aim of the game is to collect four puzzle pieces,

and put them together to make one picture.

These puzzle pieces are hidden all throughout the course.

Watch out for the gunge. It's going to get messy.

Let's look at what you've got to tackle.

First, slide down Lizzie's Slippery Slide.

And then find a puzzle piece inside the inflatable maze.

Next, onto Martin's Messy Muddle.

And this is my favourite part of the Showdown, of course.

Each team will have to go through these slimy tunnels of gunge,

and before they leave they'll have to pick up

one of these missing puzzle pieces.

Then it's on to Craig's Cool Ball Pool.

In this ball pool is your third puzzle piece,

but it's hidden under loads of these.

And then it's on to Joanna's Jump And Grab.

All you need to do is pull the bucket to find the puzzle pieces.

But beware, because these buckets are full of slime and gunge.

So, all the teams need to do is work together

to complete the jigsaw puzzle.

The first team to do it are the winners.

It's time to play in a big way. Are you ready?

ALL: Yes!

OK. Three, two, one.

Let's go!

The Let's Go-ers are off to a flying start.

The Red team are just ahead down Lizzie's Slippery Slide.

Tag.

And now it's neck and neck into Martin's Messy Muddle.

Get through, come on, buddy.

Ah, gungy!

And the Reds are first into Craig's Cool Ball Pool.

What a dive. But the Blue team are right behind.

This is going to be close.

Harvey, out this way.

And the Blues have taken the lead at Joanna's Jump And Grab.

-Great gunging.

-Let's start our puzzle, let's start our puzzle.

Just the jigsaw to finish.

It's tricky.

Keep going, quick. We've got to do this quick.

But it looks like the Blues have done it.

Fact fans, today we're finding out all about music.

The strumming sound of guitar strings

The twinkle of a triangle's ding

Tickling piano keys from left to right

A trumpet's fanfare, loud and bright

Drums are banging Cymbals clanging

A feast for your ears with Music Facts.

First up, cows like to listen to music.

It's UDDERLY true!

Cows that have gentle music played to them

produce more milk than cows who don't.

When cows listen to soothing music at milking time,

it makes them happy, comfortable and relaxed.

The happier a cow feels, the more their milk flows.

So if you want to double your dairy,

you'd better put on some MOO-sic

and change the MOO-d.

Next. Mosquitoes impress each other with love songs.

All mosquitoes buzz.

It's the sound their wings make when they flap super fast.

But when a boy mosquito meets a girl mosquito he really likes,

he flaps his wings faster and faster.

Then, so does she, until they're flapping in time together.

And this little sign of energetic affection

makes the sound of their buzzing exactly the same!

Sounds like these music-loving insects

really are in tune.

Next. In West Africa, there are drums that can talk!

Talking drums have been used to send messages

from one village to another for hundreds of years.

Quicker than carrying messages on foot or by horse.

Each drum is wide at the ends and thinner in the middle

and when you squeeze them under your arm and tap the skins

they make lots of different sounds.

A good drummer can play noises and rhythms

that sound just like a person's voice.

Now, that's hard to...BEAT.

And finally, brain freeze could help you be a classical music composer.

Ice cool!

Ludwig van Beethoven, a famous German composer,

used to dunk his head in a bucket of ice-cold water

before he wrote a piece of music.

Beethoven claimed this chilly custom

helped him to get in tune and think of new rhythms.

Well, it must have worked, because Beethoven wrote

some of the most well-known classical music for orchestras.

But please don't try this at home - it's SNOW joke!

Lightning definitely does strike twice when I'm around.

Wait a minute.

Time for a superhero Quick Trick!

I'm making a city on the floor.

I've cut this paper out to make some fluffy clouds.

And these cardboard boxes are going to be the buildings.

Now all you need to do is make up a superhero name,

dive into your city, and get someone to take some photos of you.

Here's something you can do.

To show you our superpowers, we're going to make a movie.

First we're going to make some props.

Let's get making!

We're making a big wall out of cardboard boxes.

We're painting brown on to make the bricks.

We painted the boxes red,

and we stuck them on top of each other to make a wall.

Then we made a laser-beam maze.

It's made out of wool.

Then we wrapped the wool around the chair legs.

Now it's time to make our movie!

ALL: Yay!
