Let's begin auditions for A-Troupe.

There's only ten spots in A-Troupe.

I want to dance in A-Troupe, because it's

the highest level at our studio.

A-Troupe literally means the world to me,

I don't know what I would do if I didn't get in.

What chance is there of me becoming a professional dancer

if I can't even make it into A-Troupe?

E-Girls are an elite group that I started when I got in to A-Troupe

two years ago.

I love being part of the E-Girls. You're part of a family.

The auditions are in here, right?

I don't know who this new girl thinks she is, but I have

my A-Troupe planned out and she's not going to come and ruin it for me.

I don't know who this Michelle girl is

but she's amazing.

She's Miss National Soloist.

-No, she's not!

Remember, if you don't make it this year, there's always next year.

It's a little sad, I had some dancers I wanted to make it to A-Troupe.

I really hope the new girl doesn't take my position in A.

I make it into A-Troupe and I am so excited!

I just want to do back flips all the way home.

Honestly, I've been in A-Troupe for so long, I know I'm going to be

Dance Captain this season. It's not even a question.

When I saw that I made it into A-Troupe,

I was so happy.

I mean, that's a whole other year with Emily.

That's a whole other year I get to ask her out.

When I find out that

I made it into A-Troupe, I'm bursting with joy.

She's not that good, so I don't really get why she's here.

She just has that "wow" factor.

The fact that Michelle got thrown into A-Troupe right away,

I'm scared that she's going to throw our family off balance.

It might affect us

as dancers for regionals.

I'm so happy, this is everything I've worked for.

It's the first step in becoming

a professional dancer for me,

so I'm really, really happy.

I'm ecstatic! I'm finally part of A-Troupe

and I'm finally part of the E-Girls.

When I see that I made it into A-Troupe,

I'm not really that that surprised, but I feel great.

Getting into A-Troupe is the best. I mean get another year

to be with my sister, to be with my friends.

When I learn I make it to A-Troupe, I'm super stoked,

and I'm ready to start rehearsing

and I can't wait for regionals.

I am so confident in our A-Troupe this year.

I get so excited watching them

and thinking about the potential for regionals!

Being in A-Troupe is an honour,

because you have to work for it,

and you have to work to stay in it.

Obviously.

I deserve it. I work hard. I pretty much AM A-Troupe.

When I see B-Troupe, I used to be one of them, and now I'm here

in the A-Troupe, you know, I'm proud, I'm fierce.

I'm very surprised that Emily didn't make it to A-Troupe this year.

I mean, she's amazing.

And I feel really bad for her.

You deserve to be here, and you don't deserve this.

Giselle has earned her place in A-Troupe,

not Michelle.

I don't understand what I could have done.

It wasn't your fault, It was Michelle's.

I'm kind of confused. I'm new here and I don't know what I did wrong

and I'm just kind of nervous about this whole situation.

We are extremely confident in the dancers we chose.

Hopefully it's going to be good, fingers crossed.

We need to decide who's going to be Dance Captain.

Dance Captain is a very important and coveted role.

It goes to one of the dancers who is the most responsible.

I'm really exited to be a part of all you guys.

Whenever we have a break from dance, we just like to let loose.

There's over 100 rules you have to follow and abide at all times.

Number one is that an E-Girl always has another E-Girl's back.

Number two - an enemy of any E-Girl, is an enemy of all E-Girls.

Pretty much, you start with an E.

And then you have to, like, connect with somebody else to make a G.

the whole room tenses up.

So... It's a little bit awkward.

Look, uh, just like there's rules in the studio, there's also

rules in E-Girls.

And to be in E-Girls, you have to be in A-Troupe, Giselle.

'Telling Giselle was hard, we are really good friends,

'and I do care about her a lot.'

But, at the same time, rules are rules,

and I don't believe in the saying rules are made to be broken.

'I'm not too happy about what Emily says to Giselle.

'I mean, because she's not in A-Troupe'

she's not a part of the E-Girls, and I just don't agree with that.

It really hurts not to be in E-Girls any more,

but I understand why Emily kicked me out.

I mean, I'm not in A-Troupe any more.

In my audition I didn't push myself as hard as I should have.

I thought I should say a proper goodbye to Studio A.

I think I deserve to be in A-Troupe, it's just I got way too comfortable.

Life is about trying your hardest all the time.

I am a good dancer, and just because I didn't make it into A

doesn't mean I'm not.

If I danced like I just did now, I would have been in A-Troupe.

I got way too comfortable and that will never happen again.

Dance captains. Who's going to be Dance Captain this year?

Emily, of course.

I know she can do it, she's done it in the past. She's what we need.

I think we should give the torch to somebody else.

Fresh year, fresh start, fresh Dance Captain.

If it was up to me, I would choose Michelle in a heartbeat.

We know nothing about Michelle, how can she be Dance Captain?

She was captain at her last studio, let's see what

she can bring to our studio.

I still think Emily is the better Dance Captain

but I can absolutely see Chris's side of things.

Me and Giselle are just headed to the studio

for our first day of rehearsals.

I'm kind of wary about Stephanie now, I mean,

It's a new dance year, so that means it's time to pick a Dance Captain.

Well, I guess we should just vote and get it over with.

I don't see anyone in the studio being able to handle it,

other than myself.

Actually, we're doing it a bit differently this year.

As soon as Kate tells

us we're going to pick a new Dance Captain, I get anxious.

When I hear that Emily

might not be Dance Captain, I'm actually pretty shocked,

because she was Captain for the past two years.

We want to see what else is out there.

The dancer we had in mind was captain at her last studio,

and we want to see how she leads this studio. Michelle.

and I'm not really looking to be the lead.
