It's time to come to the race track for today's main event.

We're in for a thrilling race as our brave Numpups

drive their carts across the big sandy desert,

run around the stripey tree

and then back to their carts for a windy dash to the finish.

And don't forget, whoever takes first place wins Gladdy's

-Golden Treat, the most delicious Termite Treat ever baked.

-Mmm!

Our nifty Numpups are ready. Tails ready? Whiskers set?

Now let's get this race on the road.

And as the racers head out into the big sandy desert,

it's Little Sandy first, Bendy Go second, Dar Dar third,

Champer fourth and in fifth place, Humpty Do.

But oh-oh! Are those bumps ahead?

I can't look.

By my calculations, the shortest route is...

Whoo! She went straight over the bumps. That slowed her down.

Humpty Do, too.

-It's got to be rough in there.

And as the Numpups screech into the flowery meadow,

it's time to hotfoot it.

Nicely done. Dar Dar's first round the stripey tree. Second, Bendy Go.

And in third, it's Humpty Do.

But oh-oh! He got that wrong.

And Little Sandy and Champer have passed him.

-Disaster for Humpty Do, who's back in fifth place.

The racers are back in their carts now and sailing for home.

-He looks a very long way behind, Larry.
