I've lived here all my life. I love Arizona.

Now it's like, I need to decide - I'm off to college next semester.

But there's more to these sweet girls than wholesome pursuits.

The girls are being schooled in demon-slaying

by Brynne's father, Reverend Bob Larson,

a leading exorcist who's written widely on the supernatural.

-I am the real Exorcist.

-Yeah!

They claim to have saved hundreds of Americans from the devil.

I put it back on your head seven times greater.

And now the girls are heading to a city

they believe to be one of the most satanic in the world...

London.

The spells you're reading in the Harry Potter books,

those aren't just something that are made up, those are actual spells.

So you made that at school?

Yeah.

Look at me, witchcraft.

NO!

They're hoping to spark a revival of belief in exorcism.

I ask God to torment you.

May He smite you right now.

But is their version of exorcism

really a sacred religious ritual,

or is it psychological theatre?

Are these girls genuinely trying to help,

or are they deluded attention seekers?

And is London ready for the Teenage Exorcists?

We're actually watching an exorcism.

I present to you the three Teenage Exorcists.

My interest in the Teenage Exorcists was sparked by a piece

in a British tabloid, one of dozens of stories about them

from across the world.

But the reports only really scratched the surface

and I knew I wanted to discover more about these three girls.

Are they for real?

What are they actually like?

But first I needed to see an exorcism.

So I set off for a public event the girls were hosting

in downtown Pasadena, LA.

In accordance with their particular Christian beliefs,

Rev Larson and the three Teenage Exorcists

believe in the existence of the devil - Satan,

an angel who rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven.

Satan reformed against God, his pride became incredibly inflamed

and he thought he could be better than God.

So, because of that, God cast him out of heaven

and one third of the angels went with him

and so that angel was Lucifer and he became Satan and the one third

of the angels that were cast out of heaven with him became demons.

Welcome to my daughter, Brynne, and her dear friends, Tess and Savannah.

According to them, these demons,

which have names like Jezebel or Abbadon, can attack or even possess

people, taking root inside them and causing problems like depression

or addiction or just stopping people from leading functional lives.

A demon can't just come into anybody whenever it chooses to,

God doesn't allow that.

What happens is, when someone sins or does something

or something's done to them that allows the demon

to come into them

that's called a legal right or the reason that it's there.

Exorcism is supposedly the casting out of these demons.

Hi, everyone. It's great to be here. We're really looking forward to

meeting some of you and hopefully kicking some demon butt.

We're going to go into battle against the forces of darkness tonight.

Exorcism has a long history.

Rev Larson believes that 2,000 years ago,

Jesus told his disciples to go forth and cast out demons.

One third of Jesus's ministry was exorcisms, which you don't

really hear about in any other church.

I want you to think about the worst thing

that ever happened in your life.

For some of you that means going back a long time,

the incest, molestation,

-violent beatings...

-Apparently the first stage of an exorcism

is to provoke the demons to come to the surface,

what exorcists call manifesting.

Start that journey to face it tonight, to deal with it...

..and if all you need is good counselling, get it,

but if there's a demon attached to it...

let's get that demon out.

The exorcists believe that when a demon appears they must

find out its name and what reason the demon has to inhabit its victim.

Who are you?

Jezebel.

This woman, Marilyn, believes she is possessed by a demon called Jezebel.

Look, Marilyn. OK, hang on to her.

Look, it's OK.

Now what I need you to do, Marilyn, is get out of the way.

I'm going to let the girls work with you,

I'm going to let Brynne start this. OK?

Get up, Jezebel, and face me,

open your eyes and look at me.

Get up before me, you spirit.

-Find out how it got there.

-How did you get there? Get up.

How'd you get there?

I take the sword and the spirit and I pierce you though.

You must answer me.

-Answer me, spirit.

-Blood sacrifice.

Blood sacrifice?

What kind of blood sacrifice?

-Answer me!

-Child.

-What?

-Child.

-Child sacrifice.

Apparently the demon claims its reason for possessing Marilyn is a

child sacrifice performed by one of her ancestors hundreds of years ago.

Demons are entirely evil.

They are violent, they are cruel,

and there is nothing redeemable about them.

There's nothing good in a demon.

'Because they know we're going to kick them out.'

-So we go, now.

-We go.

-Now.

-Now.

Get up fully. I want Jezebel.

I want Jezebel.

I have to say my special skill is probably

the enforcer or the lead exorcist.

I can take on those demons.

Finally Brynne commands the demon to return to the pit of hell.

Say the...

-The.

-Pit.

-Pit!

-All the way out.

-Abbadon, come out.

Jezebel, you must come out.

The whole exorcism was harrowing.

The girls said they were provoking demons,

but weren't they provoking Marilyn?

I anoint you in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

This event was free to attend,

I've been one of those horse-crazy girls my whole life.

So, did you teach the other girls or did they learn?

I taught them.

Pretty much all of my friends at one point or another have been

forced to ride with me. Some like it, some don't. They liked it.

'As Rev Larson's daughter,

'18-year-old Brynne has been around exorcism her whole life.'

Ever since I can remember, Dad's been helping people

through exorcism and deliverance.

I always remember sitting there watching somebody

getting a demon cast out of them.

Look at you! Hey!

We were in Africa and we were at this church

with about 3,000 people, and Dad had somebody up on stage

and he was working with them and it was a young man

who had a voodoo demon, and I'm sitting there in the audience

about 13 years old, and Dad suddenly stops and turns and looks at me

and says, "Brynne, come on up here.

"Why don't you help me out and cast this thing out?"

So, my first exorcism was on a stage in front of 3,000 people.

It was very nerve-racking, but I did it.

For the girls, Jesus is a constant presence in their lives.

the Larson family for going on eight years.

They met whilst training for a very earthly form of combat...

'The first time I met Brynne'

we were actually in a karate class.

We just really hit it off.

Four, four...

I don't know what happens but somehow you bond when you're

punching one another and throwing knees.

We were working out together...

..learning how to fight...

and how to defend ourselves

and that training actually came into our spiritual training later on

because we have this warrior mentality.

Now we can defend ourselves physically,

but we can also fight the spiritual battle that's being waged every day.

The girls' mentor, Rev Larson,

works from a small office in his home town of Scottsdale.

He claims to have conducted more than 15,000 exorcisms

in a pretty colourful career.

My trajectory was high-school athlete,

rock'n'roll musician,

university student...

planning out a medical career, motivational speaker,

writer, radio talk-show host...

and along the way, demons.

They just kept showing up...

..wherever I went and it became inescapable.

For almost 20 years, Rev Larson hosted his own radio show,

railing against the influence of Satan in popular culture.

He claims the fame put him in contact

with some influential people.

one of my heroes, and a friend of mine arranged for us

to have a private dinner...

Just an incredible woman, I mean, just no-nonsense.

Usually when people see these pictures

Today, Rev Larson is holding one of his regular training sessions

with the girls.

'In terms of just being able to perform an exorcism, do they

'essentially know what to do?'

Yeah, they probably know 90% of everything...

they would need to know and 90% more

than any other priest or pastor that I know,

but they still need to know some of the finer points,

'particularly in the psychological realm, some of the'

mind games that the demons play.

Isn't there some danger in teaching teenage girls to battle evil?

We think it's OK to train teenagers to...

get drunk and have sex?

Oh, but to do moral things for God?

Oh, let's not train them to do that!

Soon the girls will be putting their training to the test.

They're planning to strike at the heart of England,

and cast out our demons...

..but first they need to hone their skills,

to be taken out of their comfort zone.

This is Peshtrovensk, a Soviet-built mining town

that's home to 30,000 people, most of them Christians.

The town is host to one of a growing number

of evangelical churches spreading across the region.

Hundreds of theological students from across Europe

are gathering here at the New Generation church

for a four-day Bible college.

Rev Larson and the Teenage Exorcists are top of the bill.

Well, tonight we're going to be ministering

and then having a seminar

and we're going to have people up and Tess and Savannah and I

are going to teach a little bit and then we're going to cast out demons.

Although Brynne is well travelled,

Savannah has never even left North America before.

And, of course, they don't speak the language.

The sense of theatre certainly enchanted the crowd -

it made me wonder whether creating this kind of

heightened atmosphere is key to making exorcism work.

If you hold back...

when they start to stir up your curses, you won't get free...

but if you let your demons come up,

we'll kick them out...

Much like in Pasadena,

Rev Larson finds the people he thinks are ripe for exorcism,

and brings them on stage, where the girls identify the demons,

and try to cast them out.

He's violent, you've just got to focus on him

for a moment, then we'll go to the others.

I take the sword and the spirit and I smite you.

Get up and face me.

-Death.

-Death? This demon is hanging on to a curse of death

going back four generations.

In order to cast out the demon, the girls believe they must

make it manifest and pronounce its own doom -

they think this returns it to hell.

In the name of Jesus, I smite you.

We smite you!

Evil spirit, up for judgment now.

Come all the way out, come all the way out,

go to the pit, go to the pit now.

Taking everything, leaving nothing and no-one behind,

we pierce you, go to the pit now, all the way out, all the way out.

We command you to leave.

Alleluia!

Now the girls have shown everyone how it's done,

they invite the church elders to have a go at exorcism.

THEY SHOUT IN UKRAINIAN

It was chaos.

I found it hard to tell who was supposedly being exorcised

and who was just being yelled at.

Rev Larson told me that when the exorcists work with someone

on a one-to-one basis they're first asked

to fill out a psychiatric questionnaire.

He says this alerts him to people with mental illness.

He then advises them to seek professional counselling

and to keep taking their medicine,

but here, with dozens of exorcisms

meant to be taking place at the same time and

in multiple languages, it's very hard to see what safeguards are in place.

'Back in the sanctuary of the church dining room,

'the girls were buzzing.

'It felt like an after-show party.'

I'm just standing there prying his eyeballs open...

THEY LAUGH

I'm like, "No!"

Wasn't the whole performance just theatre?

Honestly, I've never tried to do any showmanship at all.

Ooh!

'I'm just demonstrating the power of God.'

We're not doing it to play up to the cameras.

I've seen some amazing things in private with nobody there.

-Is that amazing?

-Whoa, cool!

-That is...whoa!

'It was so much more than I was ever expecting.'

It's incredible to see youth on fire.

I got to sign my first book. It was cool, but it was so humbling.

Two weeks later at the Larson home,

it's a day of celebration for Brynne and Tess.

They've won places at college

and the two families are getting together to celebrate.

It's my chance to ask Brynne about her upbringing.

It's OK. Come on in.

Where do you go to school?

I've been home-schooled my whole life actually, so,

it's all happened in my room, studying away.

Why didn't you go to school?

Well, for one thing travelling,

with going over to 20 countries and stuff

I don't really have time to go to school,

but I'll sit at my desk over here and work on calculus and read

all my books. This is so much better than

going to a stinky old schoolroom.

This has taken a beating. I've worked very hard at this table

all hours of the night.

Did you learn creationism or did you learn evolution?

We learned both actually, I learned all about evolution,

I've read Origin of Species and then I learned all about creationism

and also intelligent design. It's one of my favourite topics to

talk about actually. I've learned a lot about those things.

Which one's right?

Um...

I would say creationism is right.

I mean, it's the only answer for all of the questions.

Do you believe that the world was created in seven days?

Yeah, the world was created in seven days and seeing exorcisms you've

seen the power of words in the demon pronouncing its own doom

and it has to go, and so God created the world by His words.

He just said, "Let there be light," and there was light. It's pretty cool.

Being educated at home by Christian exorcists,

did Brynne really have any choice but to follow their lead?

Given the environment,

you would think that we would have

been grooming them at the table.

"OK, now how do you define this,

"what kind of demon is this?"

But that really wasn't the approach,

in fact, I was the opposite,

'I didn't really keep her from

'doing deliverances but I didn't encourage her.'

'Then her friends Tess and Savannah just started getting this training'

and she said, "Mom, can I please go along? I really want to learn."

And, of course, I mean, I couldn't say no.

'Brynne is heading to college this year, which isn't cheap...

'..but demon-slaying has clearly been good to the Larsons.

'If you want a one-to-one exorcism

'the Reverend won't insist on payment,

'but he will ask for a voluntary donation of a few hundred dollars.'

Is there a lot of money to be made from exorcism?

HE LAUGHS

Money and motives,

any time someone is in God's work it always comes up.

You know, people will pay thousands of dollars

to go to drug rehab or to pay psychiatrists, but

there's this idea that spirituality used to be for free.

The average megachurch pastor in America,

it's not uncommon for them to make up to a million dollars a year.

Well, I can assure you...

..we are nowhere near that.

'This is a family who lives by what they believe

'and I think that the Teenage Exorcists...'

are making a difference. Whether you believe in

what they do or not...

..they are committed and they stand by what they believe.

Now the Teenage Exorcists will have those beliefs tested in a city

they think of as one of the most spiritually corrupt in the world.

Saturday we have planned a ministry.

That's why we're here, really.

To see the sights, get to know London, and get a feel of it.

Every single country has its specific kind of demon,

so it'll be interesting to see what

is the most prevalent here in London.

I think I've heard Mr Larson say before

-that London is a centre for witchcraft.

-Witchcraft.

What's going on with that?

I think it's been centuries in the making, but I believe it all

kind of came to a pinnacle or a peak with the Harry Potter books that

have come out and the Harry Potter rage that swept across England.

The spells that you're reading in the Harry Potter books,

those aren't just something that are made up,

those are actual spells, those are things

that came from witchcraft books.

Harry is using this magic for good, so here we have the dangerous idea

that you can use this magic for good or bad when in reality

all magic is bad because

you're getting your power from Satan.

Since announcing their visit to England,

the girls have had requests for help from people all over the UK.

One plea came from 30-year-old Emma,

who heard about the girls on YouTube.

I went to meet her at home in Salisbury.

Emma lives with her partner and ten-year-old son,

and works locally as a cleaner.

DOOR BELL BUZZES

As a practising Christian

she's never had any experiences with demons.

But she believes her life took an unexpected turn a few months ago

after an encounter with a stranger.

I was given some food to eat round a bloke's house...

..and I was ill after I ate the pie.

I ended up with burning pains in my legs and back.

I had loud talking in my head, really loud talking,

my skin smelt of rotten flesh...

It smelt like I'd died, basically,

and I had, like, blackbirds kept crossing my path all the time

when I was walking into town.

How do you know it wasn't just food poisoning?

Because the bloke told me that he did black magic on me

and that he learnt black magic in India.

Do you think this is a curse?

Well, I think black magic's a curse, isn't it?

-I dunno.

-I'm out of my depth.

What motivation do you think this guy had

for doing black magic on a pie?

I really don't know because it says that if you do black magic

you go to hell anyway. Maybe it's that he didn't want to go to hell on

his own, he wanted somebody with him, maybe. I don't know.

I really don't know.

Did you believe in black magic before this experience?

-No, I didn't.

-Really?

-I thought it was just all made up.

A load of rubbish, really.

-Yeah.

-And what do you think now?

Now, yeah, I totally believe in black magic.

What do your friends and family think?

My friends and family,

oh, they all think that I've gone mad.

None of them believe me.

I'm 100% convinced that he's done black magic on me.

I've been to my local church,

but they don't seem to believe in black magic.

So, they sort of said that black magic doesn't exist.

So, in some ways the girls are your last hope.

Yeah, I'm really hoping they can help.

Otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do.

Emma does seem genuinely troubled.

Near the girls' hotel is the 1,000-year-old Waltham Abbey.

A chance for a final bit of sightseeing.

THEY GASP

Oh, my gosh. Wow.

-Beautiful church.

-This is very beautiful.

It's pretty far removed from the churches the girls are used to.

Rev Larson holds his regular Sunday Bible meetings

in the function room of a Scottsdale Travelodge.

(This is so cool!)

While Brynne was away from the other girls,

I wanted to know more about her faith.

'I went through a time when I was a young girl

'where I questioned my faith.'

I said, "Is this real?

"Is this true? Is exorcism real?

"I need to find out."

And so I did an in-depth study.

I read books from atheists, I read books from Christian apologists,

I read the Bible and I really did my homework.

I searched because I wanted to know the truth,

because I knew the impact of this,

that I had to make the right decision

because it's heaven and hell, it's life and death.

Why would a loving God create a world like this?

Why is there pain and suffering in the world?

All those questions I've struggled with and now I know the answer to.

Why is there pain and suffering in the world?

There's pain and suffering in the world because of Satan.

Satan hates God and hates who we are because God loves us

and created us and he's out to destroy us and God, and...

It's a tough world we live in, but I see the triumph of good.

Meanwhile, Tess and Savannah's eyes have been drawn

to the old church ceiling, which is painted with

the signs of the zodiac.

-It's unusual for a church, isn't it?

-Very unusual.

Not particularly Christian.

Definitely not.

'They knew that these signs were specifically

'pagan relics yet they took them'

and they reassigned "Christian" meanings

to these pagan symbols.

Over 50% of women in the UK consult those horoscopes before making

any big decisions in life.

It's witchcraft, it's evil, it's not of God,

so we have to take a strong stance.

We're not really here just to look at London,

we're actually here to do some ministry.

Our spiritual mentor - his name is Rev Bob Larson -

he's the world's leading exorcist.

-Ah, is he?

-Yes.

The girls have such a keen eye for the devil,

to them even this old church bears the mark of Satan.

Back in London, there's only two days to go

until the girls' big event,

and they've no idea if anyone is even going to show up.

So they've decided to hit the streets of Stratford

in east London and drum up some interest.

Thing is, they've never actually done any street work before.

This is a first for me, I don't quite know what to do,

but I'm going to jump in there and go for it.

Are you nervous?

Actually, yes, I'm not much of salesperson, so...

I don't know, we'll see how this goes.

Because from what I've seen they're normally preaching to the converted.

Yeah.

'These people have a split second to make a decision'

and it's a split-second decision to keep their demons

that they don't even know they have.

'But while Brynne is struggling,

'Savannah seems to be in her element.'

As a Muslim we use the Koran for exorcism.

Oh, so you believe in exorcism as well?

Yeah, we do believe in exorcism.

-In Arabic, they're called the jinn.

-Wow, cool.

I'm definitely a people person. I love talking to people.

I love this, this is what I'm all about.

Rev Larson has spotted that this guy, 17-year-old Joe,

is sporting a necklace bearing a goat's head on a pentagram.

Supposedly to bring you good luck, but when you do

it like that it's a pentagram, which means the worship of Satan.

-'And there's worse to come.'

-You absolutely need to be there.

This guy's got a Ouija board.

Is that bad news?

Very bad news. He made it! That's worse news.

'A Ouija board is a device for contacting spirits

'and, to the girls, spirits are demons.'

I'm going to put the cross on top and cancel it out.

-Did not expect it.

-Wasn't expecting that?

-No.

-I felt a little dizzy.

-Huh?

Have you been probed before like that?

No, I'm not really that religious.

How was that?

Interesting.

a demonic necklace, and teenagers dabbling with spirits.

London is living up to their billing as a hotbed of Satanic influence.

Oh, my gosh, automatic writing gives you demons right there,

it's where the demons take over and write for you.

Even the psychics, the paranormalists,

all these people, they're even targeting the youth.

That just makes our job even more important and more relevant.

That evening I found Joe explaining his encounter with

the exorcists to his girlfriend, Shannon.

Just having some random guy come up to you

and saying that your necklace is cursed - I'd run a mile or two.

I find him interesting.

'Turns out both of them have had experiences with Ouija boards.'

When I was younger my mum used to have, um, a friend

who was, like, really into Ouija boards

and, like, they would do it all the time

and, like, their house was just, like, really haunted

and, like, they'd always have bad stuff happen to them.

So, I think they kind of, like, let bad spirits in.

I did have a few things happen, like, when I was in bed

I heard a thing, sort of scratch-like, shout in my ear,

it just sort of went "ssk" in my ear - it was scary.

So, what is it? Apparently, you've got a demon inside of you?

That's what he claims.

And that's what he's getting rid of tomorrow?

Apparently.

Tomorrow we'll find out.

At home in Salisbury, it's a huge day for Emma.

She's going to London

to meet Rev Larson and the Teenage Exorcists.

That's better! I just washed my fringe.

I'm OK, actually,

quite excited to meet Bob.

I'm most nervous about Bob not being able to help me,

or just something going wrong.

I'm just hoping that he can break the curse, that's all,

and get rid of this black magic.

It's making me feel really ill, worried about going to hell.

I never really believed in hell before.

After two months of suffering in the belief that she's been cursed,

Emma has booked a one-to-one session with Rev Larson and the girls.

They've asked her to fill out a questionnaire that will help

with their spiritual and psychiatric diagnosis.

She's also been asked for a £200 donation.

The girls don't yet know much about Emma.

Brynne, Tess, Savannah, could you come here real quick?

We want some strategy.

But Emma has seen Rev Larson and the Teenage Exorcists

in action on YouTube.

She has high expectations that they can help.

-It'll be quicker if I initially take the lead.

First, Rev Larson goes through Emma's questionnaire

to check that she isn't suffering from mental illness.

You're not under the care of a psychiatrist?

-No.

If somebody has been diagnosed by a psychiatrist,

then we may be a little more cautious,

because we don't want to interfere...

..with a psychiatric evaluation.

Satisfied that Emma is not under the care of a psychiatrist,

Rev Larson moves on to the curse.

If a black magic curse was put on you...

..then there would be demons attacking you

and they're either around you or in you.

Right.

If they're in you, we cast them out,

if they're around you, we send them away.

Brynne, why don't you come at this thing for a little bit,

on the internet, and you broke the curse, she screamed for ages?

Not everybody does.

I just know we tell the devil to go, he has to go,

we have to take what we've got right here, right now.

..that God has done what He said He's going to do.

How do you feel that went?

Well...

-not very good, really.

Because I didn't make no noise.

I don't think they've broken the curse properly.

Well, a bit annoyed really,

because I really wanted the curse to be broken.

Although the girls have told Emma

that the black magic curse is broken, she isn't convinced.

So she's decided to go to the girls' public event,

hoping for an experience that lives up to her expectations.

although Shannon's just sceptical about the whole thing.

It's funny how I was looking at the exact same line.

It's so extreme!

He's trying to make the world a better place, I guess.

One person who believes in Rev Larson's work is Beth Wragg.

She's 36 and was a Church of England chaplain

leading a busy active life, with her 13-year-old daughter.

My life changed from really enjoying my life

to absolutely going to doing nothing.

No energy - nothing. Absolutely nothing,

to like symptoms of ME type of thing, you know?

Things got so bad that Beth lost her job,

would sleep through much of the day

and had to rely on her mum to pick up her daughter from school.

Beth thinks she's under spiritual attack.

I think it was a spiritual thing that was stopping me,

but the majority of people actually don't understand about it

so they either say that doesn't happen any more -

you know, "In Jesus' time it did happen, but now it doesn't."

Or they just think you're, you know, a bit crazy.

Beth's come all the way from Exeter,

accompanied by another Christian friend, hoping for help.

The event is taking place at the Amazing Grace Church

in Mile End, East London...

..run by one of Reverend Larson's proteges, Pastor Vincent.

'The normal Sunday service only attracts about 20 people,

but this one-off event has drawn folk from far and wide.'

and neither of them have found the help they feel

they need from their local churches.

'has released something visceral in Beth.

Beth genuinely believes she's under demonic attack

and the girls genuinely believe they can offer her spiritual healing.

-Are you chief witchcraft?

-Yes!

-Lie not. If you are lying, you will feel this.

You have to go, spirit. Get up. We receive!

-We receive!

-The judgment.

The exorcisms seemed to be a great moment of catharsis for Beth.

To me, it was like watching an intense form of therapy.

But what did Joe and Shannon make of it?

It made me jump. Oh, shit!

It sounded like someone was being murdered.

-I still think she faked it.

-You think she faked it?

Yeah, good actor.

I don't think Beth was faking it.

I may not believe in biblical demons,

but I think the girls believe they can really help fellow

Christians in need of spiritual help.

I wonder what other members of the congregation made of it all.

Two seconds to a whole half an hour where she went crazy.

It was eye opening and freaking out for me. I couldn't believe it.

Hey, listen.

Honestly, every day, I've been fighting that one

and I've gone loads of places to try and get rid of that.

Beth clearly got what she came for,

but Emma still feels let down.

I thought it was a bit weird, actually, with the girl screaming.

Is that what you were expecting?

Yeah, I was expecting it,

but I was expecting me to do it, but I don't know.

I didn't do any of that.

No. You didn't feel like doing that at any point?

No, I didn't feel like doing that, no.

Don't be concerned.

We broke the curses, we told the devil to leave you alone.

You follow God and things are going to fall into place.

For Joe, there's still the small matter of the evil Ouija board,

which he's had on him the whole time.

So, you made that at school?

Yeah.

Whoa!

He's also made his own Ouija board.

I anoint this in the name of the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit.

-Get rid of it.

-Get rid of it.

Come on Joe!

GIRLS CHEER

JOE: I think its dead.

Nice job, Joe.

Beth believes her demon has been banished.

Emma still doesn't think her curse has been lifted,

but Joe's Ouija board was definitely smashed.

With the dust gently settling on their trip,

it was time for the girls to reflect on their London experience.

The people of London, the people of England, are under such

heavy attack by the enemy. He sees their full potential.

And so, these young people are dealing with these deep,

dark entities. They're delving into the occult.

Take Joe and his girlfriend, just for an example. I think each of us

were especially impacted by just their openness to renounce

the Ouija board, to break it, to do everything that they did.

They were so inspiring for us.

Bob and the girls made me feel safe and comfortable around them,

but I believe in evolution. I'm not religious, at all,

and it's not going to change my mind.

I'm quite sad to destroy the Ouija board

because of its sentimental value, but I'm quite happy

because I don't want to be messing with spirits.

It's made me think a lot differently about stuff like that, not to get

involved with it. Before, I thought it was a bit more fun and games.

How do you measure the success of your trip?

It's by the Joes...

and the Beths.

Beth's exorcism was truly incredible.

She had been to so many different places trying to get help,

and within an hour of the session that she came to,

her problem was solved and that's the miraculous power of God.

It was very bizarre when I started, sort of, manifesting.

It was almost like me was at the back of me, if you know what

I mean. I can't explain it. Then, the demon was out the front of me.

I do believe I've been exorcised. Something came off me.

I felt loads lighter.

The next morning, I did feel like a different person.

I've just got more energy, I don't sleep in the day,

I wake up at six or seven o'clock in the morning now,

and it's just lovely to just be able to

be with my daughter properly.

We can just get back to being normal again.

Emma... She was so sweet. We loved getting to know Emma

and, because of that curse officially being broken,

she can move on in her life.

We just kept encouraging her. If she decides to believe it and

puts her faith in what she declared that day in that session with us,

then that curse is broken.

And so, to us, we succeeded. Emma was set free.

Whether you think exorcism is taking advantage of the vulnerable,

actually a form of therapy or even a genuine miracle,

it seems to have at least a short-term effect on some people.

And after spending six months with the girls,

I don't think they're frauds.

Whether what they do works long term or not,

they genuinely believe they can help people.

Although I don't believe in exorcism,

I've been taken by the courage they have in their own convictions
