-prepare the turkey.

-It's a big job to make the turkey.

-No pressure!

-I'm going make it a bit different.

-I've never seen a turkey

-like this before!

-This is a turkey breast.

-There's no bones in it.

-Turn the breast over.

-Imagine it's a chicken breast.

-It's fresh from the butchers.

-I've got some pork sausages

-with leek.

-I've also fried some onions and

-allowed them to cool.

-I've started preparing.

-I've found a recipe that uses

-sausage meat.

-Do I need to cut the sausages up

-to remove the meat?

-You can buy sausage meat or

-remove the meat from sausages.

-I've got some fresh thyme.

-Use the fresh stuff as it's tastier.

-Season with salt and mix together.

-The onions were fried in butter.

-You can use any oil you want.

-Roll the fillet over the turkey.

-Remove the thick area.

-Use this thick area on the side.

-Press it down.

-Place some stuffing into the turkey.

-Can you buy the meat like this?

-They call this butterfly.

-You can ask for it to be done

-for you.

-Roll the turkey

-with the cling film.

-Roll it in some bacon.

-It's easy to do this.

-I don't think I could do it!

-Hold it in place and

-them wrap it in cling film.

-You need to use a lot of cling film.

-Roll the meat.

-Press any meat that is sticking out

-back in.

-Next, use some foil.

-Don't use the shiny side

-on the outside.

-You want to use the dull side

-on the outside.

-You can place cling film

-in the oven.

-It won't melt.

-Place in the oven for

-1 hour 30 minutes.

-It needs to be 180C or gas mark 4.

-Next, add water and brush the turkey

-with some brown sauce.

-Cover with some butter and

-fresh thyme.

-Roast for 40 minutes at 180C or gas

-mark 4.

-I was worried at first, when I

-saw the amount of the competitors.

-We didn't have any information...

-..only the tape of the song.

-We didn't know the names

-of the school.

-Robat lives in North Wales...

-..and we had to discuss it

-over the phone.

-We both choose the same carols.

-We decided on the nine

-for the shortlist.

-It was strange.

-We wanted to put 12 in the

-shortlist, but we couldn't.

-Ten reached the shortlist.

-Tell us about

-the standard of the ten.

-There are primary schools.

-They don't have anything

-like this in England.

-They don't even have music lessons.

-We must praise the teachers.

-The songs sounded professional.

-Many of the schools

-started rehearsing in September.

-All of the carols were different.

-They all had the same message...

-..but they had different lyrics,

-music and voices.

-The competition is incredible.

-It's quite a challenge to get the

-children to learn an original carol.

-It can be difficult to teach

-children new songs.

-The children were enjoying

-themselves...

-..when we saw the tapes

-that the baby is born healthy.

-This is a breakthrough.

-I agree.

-There have been articles

-about the designer babies...

-..but if this helps people

-How far is this going to go?

-Is it a bit extreme?

-I agree.

-I don't agree with this story.

-Things are going too far.

-Hitler wanted to rid

-..so it's time to prepare some

-roasted parsnips and carrots...

-..as well as turkey gravy.

-The turkey looks great.

-The turkey takes less time and

-a lot less work.

-I'm making some quick vegetables.

-Remove the tops of the vegetables.

-Use vegetable oil to roast them

-in a tray.

-I love roasted parsnips.

-I like parsnips with honey.

-Slice the carrots if they are large.

-You don't need much fuss.

-The carrots take longer to roast.

-Add a touch of oil.

-Next, we take some honey.

-Drizzle it over it.

-Use soy sauce instead of salt.

-Roast for 30 minutes and 180C.

-I've got some leeks and

-Brussel sprouts.

-Roast them in butter.

-For the gravy you need off cuts

-of the turkey and an onion.

-You need it to thicken with some

-corn flour.

-I use too much corn flour.

-Corn flour can make it too thick.

-Add it gradually.

-This is ready to serve.

-Carve the turkey next.

-How much would that feed?

-This piece would feed 8-10 people.

-We slice it thickly.

-There's stuffing in the middle.

-I'll serve it on the plate for you.

-Add some vegetables.

-in vegetable oil?

-No, butter.

-I cooked the Brussel sprouts

-in butter.

-We've got the roasted vegetables.

-Serve the parsnip

-and some sweet potatoes.

-You can remove the skin

-of the potatoes.
