Week 8 Results Strictly Come Dancing

This is Strictly Come Dancing the CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Please

welcome your hosts, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

Weren't they brilliant. Thanks to the talented Flawless boys and our

gorgeous girls. We have a packed show with more music, The Script

will be right here. The judges will be joining me on

the sofa for a bit of Len's Lens. Of course, two couples will have to

face off in the dance-off. Saturday night our eight Strictly

stars ripped up the dance floor as they wowed both you and the judges

with jaw-dropping routines. The scores have been combined with your

votes and we'll soon find out which two couples have the lowest points.

They will fight to survive in the dance-off. Correct. Every time we

say, it let us do this together. Let's say hello to the four people

who have the power to save or say goodbye. Please welcome, Craig,

First a look at a drama both on stage and back stage from Saturday

night. What a night! I don't know why you're so late - they're not

late. We're going to have a good night tonight. We have to make some

atmosphere. Go! CHEERING

da-da-da. They're rubbish. It's Strictly time. I'm feeling

good, reading my mail, getting my hair done. Funny enough, it isn't

all mine. Don't tell anyone. Come on. Wrong partner. Stupid faces.

Come on, let's do this. Oh, yes. Let's make our way to the stage

please. It's showtime. Don't start without me. I'm here.

We're going live, baby! Going live. The samba is a party dance. I've

got to say you got this party started. I'm so happy. Charming and

bubblier than baby cham. You set the story of the dance up

brilliantly. The feel of the dance, the mood of the dance and the

intensity of the dance was spot on. Nine! I allow you to smile from now

It was a bit light. I'm going to call you a light Victoria sponge.

The candy sticks had more fluidity. It's brilliant how you got together

for those lifts. I tried my best. My best in this competition is the

bottom of the leaderboard. You've got it all to give. But I lost the

story telling in that. You've got great lines. You have got presence.

This was... Nothing going on. you to move up the leaderboard you

have to learn to act these dances. Nice, but not overwhelming. I don't

think it's a dance that actually suits you. But I thought you danced

it well. Don't really like this one. I'll

make them smile next week, if we get through. Oh, boy, yes, we will.

Basically, I think it lacked any sort of resistance and lead. It was

a full routine, the lifts were good. That drag across. The spin on the

floor. You tried hard, but it didn't come to an Argentine tango,

I loved it. Bottom two last week, I tell you what, you're going to be

Also safe is... Nicki and Karin! And now the first couple in the

dance-off, who will dance again for survival, is... Michael and Natalie.

Natalie a little bit later. Now Bruno, on Saturday night, you

said that you couldn't see the relationship between Michael and

Natalie. So what can he now do this time around to sell it to you?

story as well. You cannot just do a sequence of steps. You have to play

it and get us involved into it. If he does that, he will do well.

This is where we see the close-ups, the nitty gritty. By the way how

beautiful was that. Gorgeous, gorgeous. I want to illustrate to

the group, look at that, lovely, a stroke. OK. Oh, no.

I hate Len's Lens. We're going to be friendly. You'll like this. I

want to illustrate to the group how you arrive. You would think some

Beryl, straightforward, hello to the audience and -- somberly,

straightforward and hello to the audience. This is how the Goodman

gets to the floor. A Botti smack. Yes. You were very hard on Louis I

think. You said he wasn't man enough. He wasn't. I tell you what

the problem is, he's got a great personality when you chat to him.

He doesn't bring that personality out onto the floor. Every dance is

a sort of blankish. Every dance has got a character and he has to show

Look he is actually snarling! What more do you want? Even I have a

moment of passion now and again. It was a moment of passion in a whole

routine. No! As much as I like him and I do, I love old Louis, it

didn't have enough fire. OK. That's Louis. What I love is you said,

Darcey, Nicky's dance reminded you of the movie The Artist, so we have

made this for you. He should be an actor. I love it.

That's his next job. Super-cute. Isn't he adorable? We have him

doing the Charleston and his face, let's run it. You will see how

cheeky, fun. Why was it so brilliant? That's a performance.

Craig, I think you had the moment on Saturday night. Everything

clear. Talk me through it, Craig. lot of people end up slipping into

a normal ballroom hold rather than a tango hold and if your thumb is

wedged firmly in, then you are in safe hands. Look at the pout! She's

It opened the show. Oh, yes! Look at the Beyonce Diva. She put her

own spin to it but the samba was excellent. Sorry! Quite. While most

of the cameras were on Dani, we did have Len's lens on you. # All the

single ladies... I loved it. Our other favourite bit

that you have to explain to us is when you were scoring Lisa, quite

harshly, you two got the giggles. Here's a reminder. Look at 2002!

He turned, in shock, and went oh! couldn't stop. We couldn't stop

laughing. It's pathetic. I am pleased we now know what it was

about. Let's hear it for the brilliant judges!

Victoria's first time in the dance- off. On Saturday night you praised

her armography and her core strength. What can she now bring to

her dance to save her? Well, firstly, really listen to the music.

That's so important to keep that rhythm going and have a party but

most important, is to enjoy it and have fun. I want to see the party

in that salsa. Right. You want to see the party dance come to life.

Petrified. And slightly teary. How relieved are you? You did a

brilliant samba on Saturday? I am so relieved, that's the worst

experience. I hate that bit. We should not do that. All right, I

will ask the bosses and see thousand works -- see thousand

works. -- and see how it works. felt really sick. My heart was

going so fast. It's the worst feeling waiting to hear. What I

love, can I share with the group, while that music was going James

I am about to ask each of you the names of the couple you think

deserve to be saved. The couple with the most votes will stay in

the competition, meaning the other couple is out of Strictly Come

Dancing. In the event of a tie head judge Len will have the casting

vote. Victoria and Brendan and Michael and Natalie, this is it.

been an emotional journey for you. The last four years has been an

Have you enjoyed your journey? loved every second of it. It's

pushed me totally out of my comfort zone, which you need to do in life.

Brendan has been fantastic. The people behind-the-scenes, hair and

make up. The love the costumes. It's been so much fun. It's been a

fantastic experience. And Brendan, you've been dancing with

our Olympic sweet heart for two months now. It's been an emotional

roller coaster. I was so excited to be paired with Victoria. I haven't

changed my mind. She's a diamond to work with. She's the pride of the

nation and I couldn't be happier and prouder of you in the way you

attacked everything. It's just a shame I can't dance.
