names up in lights in a Hollywood extravaganza.

There was high octane action. There was feel-good family fun.

Brilliant! That was excellent. There were costume dramas. But for

one screen Goddess there would be no sequel. The thing would have

been better behind the screen. Tonight, boys and ghouls, we have a

fright-tastic show for you and our celebs are running scared. No-one

can hide. No-one is safe. Because on Strictly's Hallowe'en Special,

anything can happen. For one of our celebrities, it will

be the final nail in the coffin. Get ready for a spooktacular show.

lovely crowd. What an opener. Really wonderful start. Good

evening ladies and gentlemen and children welcome to Strictly Come

Dancing. It's nice to see you to see you NICE. It is Hallowe'en.

That explains it. Don't get over- excited. I have been haunted all

the week. What happened? Well, it was a dark and stormy night. I was

awoken by a distant howling coming from the garden.

I opened the bedroom door. I went down the stairs. I couldn't see

where I was going. I put on the lights. (Striking a match)

I don't need a match to put on the lights, for goodness sake. We do

have electricity in Surrey. What happened then? I went to the back

door and there peering through the window was a terrifying sight. A

poor tortured soul screaming "I left this world before my time, I

left this world before my time!" What did you say. I said the judges

We are all in for a Hallowe'en treat tonight as our 12 girls and

ghouls bring their scariest thrills and chills to this haunted ballroom.

Tonight is not for those with a nervous disposition as our couples

will face their greatest fear of leaving Strictly forever.

SCREAMING. I can hear our celebs wailing in terror back stage. The

nightmare has only just begun. Because, are you shaking or is it

me? I'm terrified. Because it's From Girls Aloud, Kimberly Walsh

and her partner Pasha Kovalev. Westlife's Nicky Byrne and Karen

Hauer. Fern Britton and Artem Chigvinstev. Cricket legend Michael

Vaughan and Natalie Lowe. Soap star Lisa Riley and her

partner Robin Windsor. Olympic gymnast Louis Smith and his

partner Flavia Cacace. Dani Harmer and Vincent Simone. Sid

Owen and and Ola Jordan. Dennis Van Outen and James Jordan. Richard

Arnold and Erin Boag. Cyclist Victoria Pendleton and her partner

Brendan Cole. Film and TV star Colin Salmon and his partner

There they all are. Yes, tonight you will be seeing many different

styles of dance, xept Gangnam Style. MUSIC: Gangnam Style.

Stop it! I don't get much chance to dance on

this show. That was my solo. That got the blood pumping. You did it

very well. Tonight these 12 couples face a night of blood-curdling

ballroom with our cut-throat judges scoring their every move. Those

scores will be combined with your votes and two of our couples will

face the fate worse than death, the deadly disgusting dance-off.

Here they are in training. Last Saturday I was a bit nervous

whether my feet would do the right thing. I seemed to pull it off

somehow. Take those red shoes and walk down the yellow brick road

into next week, that was great. Having Betty was brilliant until

she bit Vincent. Time finding myself dancing with another dog,

which could be Scooby Doo. This week is Strictly does heel wean and

there is a -- Hallowe'en and there is a spooky feeling in the dance

room. It feels like there's someone else, someone watching. With all

Darcey, Len and Bruno. Remember last week we made Craig dress up as

the Tin Man and implied he doesn't have a heart. I would like to

apologise for that. Of course Craig has a a heart. At least I hope he

Anyway, it was really spirited fun, nice and tight foot work, very well

placed. What you have to do in Latin, you have to do what you did

last week in ballroom. Remember when you started to extend the line

and make it smoother and bigger, because sometimes you tend to

tighten it up a bit. Your timing is good, your placement is good. Now

it needs to be expanded a bit more. Craig, what did you think? It was

clean, fantastic spins as always and fast foot work, I have to agree

with Bruno, you must extend through your lines. You have got to

accentuate the finishes, otherwise it doesn't look right. You were

also very late with your arms in the first New York thing. BOOING

No, if you can do something that fast and achieve that many moves,

that was amazing. You even created the moves all the

time. You are wrong. You are wrong. Only one thing, over exaggerate

those hips but with that speed, you got so much in there, amazing.

evil tonight. Despite Anton's best efforts, that went well, is that

the most fun you have had? Definitely. But trying to keep a

straight face dancing with this is very difficult. Scores are in.

Erin "Bogey Man" Boag. Richard just loves Hallowe'en. He likes nothing

better than telling scary stories beside the camp fire. I said how do

you make a camp fire. He said "You make an ordinary fire and then I

sit buy it ". APPLAUSE

Here they are in training. The Quickstep was great. I didn't

mind it actually. Is that you? I didn't mind it, I am going to have

that up in lights. A lot of improvement, foot work was better.

Your best dance so far. I feel good this week. I have no idea what

fresh hell awaits me, but I feel good. Hallowe'en week, dancing the

Paso Doble to O Fortuna, not exactly a floor-filler. This music

is driving me mad. It's completely warped my view of reality. I hear

it when I am getting ready for training. I hear it on the way to

the dance studio. I only wanted an autograph. Wherever I am, whatever

I am doing, I hear it. I am late for training, is Erin in? He is in

a funny mood today. Erin my nerves are shredded. I have been trying to

Dancing the Paso Doble, Richard APPLAUSE

What about that. Wasn't that great. Look at this. That was marvellous.

The fire was terrific. But only half cooked my sausage and I love a

well done sausage. If you are in the dance-off you can finish it off

for me. Oh, the drama, you were like Gary Newman in a bad temper.

But it's the lines, the lines, the artists with the posture and timing.

Those were not quite there. Actually, you went for all the

content which is good, the execution was not really refined as

it should have been, because those shoulders have to be down. The

lines have to be out. The timing has to be good. You went for drama.

The acting was there. Yes, Gary Newman in a coma.

That was unkind. I thought the cape work at the top

was very good and the turn out of it was good.

However, darling, it needs to be a lot more earthed and by that you

need to dance into and through the floor a lot more. It needs a strong

preparation and then height and also a finish, a nice lunge finish

and nice skiesor action. There needs to be a lot more arch to this

dance. You need to spot on your turns, otherwise they look terrible.

The character you definitely were spooky, the most spooky matador I

have ever seen. I can see you have worked very hard. But the tilt in

the hips, I need more of that. If you clench your your glut muscles.

That will create a better tilt when you strut your stuff around the

dance floor. I like the character, you held on to that all the way

through. Len. I didn't know what Craig was

saying, I was yawning at the time. You great big butch bull fighter.

That was difficult music. You got right into character with it. But

they are right, you have got to get those tight buttocks. I used to put

a coin up my bum. They could have done with a bit more shaping, but

what I loved, you come out and you give it some. That's a Paso Doble.

pulled it off. He's right on some of the swivels they were missing a

bit, but it wasn't that messy. You did give me back your spring and

It's a good job Sid spent so much time in a soap opera because

there's been a bit of drama this week. Ola had to fly to Poland so

Iveta Lukosiute stood in for her for training, but it was -- here is

how they got on. I enjoyed it and I was shocked when the judges give me

a grilling. It wasn't good. work hard all week and you want to

give a good performance. Stompy, clumpy. Just knock you down in a

flash and it's like, that hurt. your lowest score to date. I picked

myself up and forget about last week and hopefully I can pull a

good performance out of the bag next Saturday. Ola can't train this

week, so Iveta stepped in. Did you feel that, I can feel there's

something weird. Let's get back to training. She's nice but she gets

easily distracted. OK, you got to We're locked in. Don't worry, I

always come prepared. Looks like we are here for the night. Did you

Darcey, start us off. Fabulous to see more dance content. You can do

it! You had moves there. Don't worry about going wrong. I can see

your concentration on your face, I don't want to see that worry.

Because I want to see that cheeky Sid that we love. Especially with

Ola. She loves you. Sell it with her, come back next week with

attitude in the Latin, please. about the break dancing! You have

the perfect partner Olaween! Listen, I want you to do well. It's all too

safe. You are coming out and playing it safe. Go for it more,

take risks. I know you have had a tough week with dancing with one

and another. You have got to come out, if you are going to go down,

go down fighting. Because you are so careful and frightened of going

wrong, you don't do it right. Get out there and give it some!

Next up, I nearly swallowed my tongue. What said good! Next up is

Nicky Byrne and his partner Karen "Howling" Hauer. Last week I said

the word chillax and Nicky tweeted that I shouldn't use young people's

language. I do apologise, my behaviour was was tote inprops. I

hope I don't end up trending. Last week went very well. Now I

have proved I can entertain and do a bit of dancing. I am not a

ballroom dancer, but it was entertaining. It was my first week

where I was able to stand in front of the judges and smile. You are

starting to win me over actually. So far with Craig my scores have

been two and then a four and then a six. I am on the right path. I feel

like my competition has just This week Strictly does Hallowe'en.

We have been working together for a couple of weeks so I thought it was

the right time for her to see my house. Nicky, I have to warn you I

am terrified of the dark. People say it's haunted but you those old

ghost stories, it's not true. This is where I like to chill. I don't

know what you are so scared of. Seriously, you live here? It really

is a nice room. That's a scream, I think somebody died here a few

J Dancing the Tango, Nicky Byrne Well done both of you. I was

supposed to take those off. forgot to take them off! The old

bent knees helped this week. Len, what did you think? I thought there

was far more good than bad. You could have had tighter hold and you

stomped a bit with your foot work, but it was sharp and crisp. On the

beat. Yes the whacky professor found his secret formula. The thing

now you are finding focus and power and Len is right, because of that

sometimes you are stomping about. Don't forget, it is still a Tango,

we like to see you giving everything you have, but don't go

off the style of it. You have to keep that going as well. We both

liked it. You need to sort... They want a close up, they both liked it.

Do it again. Oh, dear. Craig's face. Sickening. Look at yourself!

need to sort your posture out, that is the main priority concern at

this point in the competition. Also, you are picking your feet up way

too much and that is why it is looking stompy but I really liked

the routine. Craig likes something, that is beautiful. Darcey, did you

looks like you are marching in the Tango, but I liked it very much.

you are in character? Yes, I suppose putting a suit like this on

and the glasses it makes you feel like somebody else. I put Michael

Vaughan's cricket suit on. He let you borrow it. What can we expect

next week if you are still here? God knows, I will have to look for

Britton and her partner Artem Fern used to present that show

Ready Steady Cook, where the contestants had to make a meal in

less than 20 minutes. I said what if they ran out of time. She said

they used rosemary and sage. Which would go well in our sausage

sandwich. Forget that one. How you remember all this rubbish! Here

they are in training. It was pretty good last week. The

audience started clapping along with the music and I felt a really

swell of warmth from them and I thought yes, I've got to do this.

You made Hollywood into jolly good. I felt very imaginically

transported. I did feel like Mary Poppins. It's good to do it

properly and then on with the next. This week is American Smooth to

Killer Queen, our Hallowe'en Special. This week you need to be

Killer Queen. I have potion for you. Oh. Bottoms up. It's perfect.

I am the Killer Queen. An elf, I love Christmas. It's not Christmas,

Well done Fern. That was lovely, darling. I love

the finish as well. Fern, my darling, you were a bit too nicy

nicy, too beige for me. It's Killer Queen, think about Craig in Panto.

It's true. The song defines the character, that defines the dance,

that defines the movement and defines what you do with it. That

was a bit plain. It didn't have the impact that it should have had.

well there we are. Darcey, what did you think? For me, it was smooth

and I liked the bad Queen in you. I think you should play with that

character more. Have a couple more bad roles, I think it suits you.

Just watch it, when you are picked up, don't lift the shoulders, you

have the most amazing partner and shouldn't be worried. Be brave, go

for it more next time, please. neat and precise. You've got the

how, but it it hasn't got the wow. You have to push fern a bit more,

tar tem. -- Artem. I want more out of you. There was something special

for you, did you see that, a heel turn. I saw the heel turn, I would

have loved your feet to have been together. But I saw the heel turn

and you you went into a check and weave. That is why I said you have

got the how but it needs more of the wow factor. Good criticism

Len Len wants Artem to push you more. You looked a bit afraid, a

lot afraid by that Fern. I was abit afraid by that because I was trying

to channel Artem, he is the terminator. He is indeed. While you

lovely. Was it a bit of a challenge for you to get into the mind set of

evil Queen. It was a tough week actually, it took a lot to get that

into my head. I love the costume and make-up, I love Artem looking

like this. He did have a shirt on, but that was all cut off. Artem is

Hollywood show was a spectacular show. That was excellent. Great

posture, great control. If Craig has something to say he's not

afraid to say it, so to get good comments from him is great. We got

four 8s which took us to the top of the leaderboard. Obviously this is

Strictly and everything could change next Saturday. This week is

Hallowe'en week, so we are dancing the Cha Cha and we are going to be

circus Superfreaks. I have told her less cheek and more freak and I

know just the place to take her. Where are you taking me? Don't

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE What about that! Couldn't believe

it was you two. Craig, start us off. I'm quite

partial to a little whip action, darling. But leg to hip action was

a bit jolty and wooden, you need to work on that, but the timing as

always superb, energy, spins, brilliant.

You never disappoint, you always dance to a high standard, but if

you are going to wear a short skirt you have got to have really

fabulous leg action and it wasn't quite as crisp as I would have

liked it. Short skirt and poor legs is not a good combination. I liked

it. They looked all right to me. kinky and slinky and all in the

best possible taste. The fact is s the most theatrical parts looked

very, very well, but it is the basics, the backwards and forwards

when you sneed to ignite the leg and get those illustrious hips

working, you need to work on that, it is actually the simplest most

basic thing you have to get it right. Zur not use today criticism,

are you? It's good, I have a lot to I tell you what, we disagree up

here, nothing wrong with those legs, fabulous legs. Did you have fun

getting your freak on. It was good fun tonight. I was so nervous, it's

terrifying. You have been top of the leaderboard for two weeks, do

you think you will make it a hat- trick? I don't know. You were good.

see the West End -- West Indies play at their home ground. I said

to Jamaica? Even for you Bruce, he said, that's a very, very old joke.

I said there's always somebody who hasn't heard it, I am going to try

and find him. Here they are in I never thought I would be on

television in front of 10 million people whipping my trousers off.

Hot it was not. Timing issues throughout, it was awkward all the

way through. Although I didn't do a great performance in the live, I

knew I had a good performance in me if I could calm down with the foot

steps. One mistake, you are out of the competition. I am going to save

Michael and Natalie. We live to fight another week. When I am

training, I can just feel Craig's presence. His comments stay with

you all the time. Hello. "Most of the time you look like you are

busting for a wee ". There's no-one there. I think I am I am being

haunted by Craig's comments. Hot it was not. I need to get home and

have a good night's sleep, I will feel better in the morning. Wake up,

Beautiful! They loved it. You surprised everybody and

yourself. You must have had a wonderful week. I hear you have

learnt a few magic tricks, would you like to show us. I have been

working on one all week, ab ra ka APPLAUSE Do we need to say

anything? Do you still want to comment? Ballroom is your thing,

Michael. Well done, well done both of you. Your hold, all the way

through, top line was beautiful, you didn't let go, you got tired a

little at the end, but it didn't faze you at all. Even at that speed,

the Quickstep, your feet were light, precise, there was no messy

transitions. The best thing is that cheeky grin, that sold it to me. By

the end you were a a Cheshire cat. The posture great. What I think is

this, last week you were this close to going out of the competition. I

am so glad you didn't, because we woonlt have got -- wouldn't have

rhumba last Saturday. But on the night it started off quite romantic

and intense and ended up a bit comical at the end. She got her

Dancing the salsa, Colin Salmon and You are quite a team, you two. You

are developing so well, both of you. You need to concentrate more on

your foot work, the foot work for me was a bit haphazard, wasn't

landing either one way or the other and I was nervous when you were

going into lifts. Looked a bit messy, very flat-footed all the way

through, but the positive side is you do have that disco groove going

on, which is really lovely to watch. For me, I liked the long arms and I

liked the added hand movements, you get these clicks in occasionally.

Maybe it wasn't a dirty salsa but it was definitely a saucy salsa

this time. Colin you are getting there. It had a lovely rhythm going

throughout and I was very encouraged, but it wasn't just a

little mistake, there was a major incident, it was still up there, it

straightaway is the eyes, the intensity, the scared beautiful Red
