Week 2 Results Strictly Come Dancing

Ballroom battle to stay in Strictly. And of course, our fabulous four

judges have had the hideous task of deciding who stays and who goes.

Please welcome cig, Darcey, Len and Bruno.

APPLAUSE sitting pretty. Also on the show

tonight, there's a brand new leader of the rat pack, Matt Goss will

perform his latest single. Yes. And I'll be sharing the best moments of

this week's dancing with the judges and the return of Len's lens. I have

missed that. Very soon we'll find out who will be the first couple in

the dance-off. But first here's what happened on Saturday's show both on

and off the dancefloor. It was good. D. The idea someone is leading is

really, really scary. At the moment, I'm going for waves of terror and

total excitement. There's a hundred ways to mess up and one way to get

it right. Help me! Not long before we go live. It's all very exciting.

I can see the nerves brewing. You have seven minute, ladies and gents.

We're coming. Have a good guy. She looks gorgeous. Out with anger. In

with love. I have lost Anton. He's my security blanket. Scared. Ten

seconds - nines eight, seven, six... Time to strut. Show time. Three,

there. I think you should give up your day job. You've got it. Eight.

Well done, you. The most exciting thing about that was the jump. At

69, to come out and dance, I commend you for that. Two. A lot of hard

work for 13 points. I know that. . I loved the use of the skirt. You did

that with absolute ease. I love the feel of it. It had a grace and an

elegance about it. You're going to be one to watch, wonderful work. How

do you like... You have certainly tamed that excitement. You have

found some control. The lift, I thought, was a little bit

lumberjack-ish. I get more excited about watching you than anyone. You

won't be beaten for ages. You'll be hanging around for weeks.

APPLAUSE I thought that had a fantastic

attack. Your timing is impeccable. I would say high five. High five.

Dragon versus drag Queen, darling. Be careful. So much better, my

darling. You get my respect totally, tell you. It's not the highest

score, but I am so chuffed. You were like a slug in salt, actually.

That's just horrible. Lots of sugar but not a lot of spice. It's like

watching a gorgeous rag doll at the mercy of the elements.

LAUGHTER You're connected. You feel the

music, and by doing, so you're moving better. A huge difference

from last week. 23 points is a big improvement on last week. You didn't

quite work out the way it should go. Not quite your best. Better than

last week? No. Five. Can't keep everybody happy. No. Fiona, no need

to beg. You just need to dance, my darling. I thought you were having

good up until the point you kicked him in the shin. It shows you have

it in you. You've just got to focus more. Absolutely loved that. Through

the darkest clouds, a ray of sunshine appears.

Heavily juiced with character, and that's what makes it live.

Wow! The Charleston is made for you. Beautifully done - full stop. Nine.

Nine. Nine. Getting nines is pretty amazing. You were stunning. You look

magnificent, but you don't move much.

I would just like to see a little bit more connection between you two,

but a great improvement. It's improvement. I am happy with that.

It's so good. So good! Very, very enjoyable. You're a good dancer,

Abbey, you are. High five. I am absolutely amazed. There was so much

content in there. So impressive. You put the oo in smooth. Oh, oh, oh!

What a night! Sophie, four 9s on week two - that was something

special. The thing is on this show, you've got to just do your best, and

that's what Tony Jacklin did. He came out, and he gave it all he

could. Strictly's back. What a show. I am loving it. That was last night.

This is right now - 15 stars of dance to keep their place in the

competition, but who will survive, and who will find themselves in the

surprised to a degree because, you know, what I like about the way we

vote is that the public usually go for the underdogs, andal all my

I think you done terrific to get up there and have the nerve to come out

and give it a go. And do a Charleston in week two. Tony, it has

been a tough couple of weeks for you. How are you feeling now to be

in the dance-off? It was into the unknown earlier on. At least now I

know what I'm trying to achieve. I just feel a little calmer than I did

know what I'm trying to achieve. I earlier for some reason. I don't

know why. Calmer! Well, it's not over yet, Tony. Use that use the new

calm. Craig, you said Tony's Charleston was limp, lame and lacked

lustre. What does he need to do in the dance-off to improve? Well,

everything opposite those adjectives, quite frankly. It needs

everything opposite those to be full of character, be full of

energy. I think you need to go out there, go mad. You have nothing to

lose - well, except the competition. Thank you, judges, I think. Tony,

you're going to go for it, right? Going to dry. Go on, give it some wp

think there has been a mistake. Are you over the moon? I can't believe I

am on Strictly. The fact that I'm here! You're still here. Were you

bit harsh, Mark? Did you think it's going to be me? You do because

you're standing there and everything goes through your mind. That -

Welcome. Now, this is the moment when we welcome the fifth member, as

it were, of the judges. We can't do this section alone, let's not

forget. We need the guidance of Len's Lens. There it is. This is

where we look at the details, the tiny little nuggets. If you didn't

have enough time on Saturday night, this is where we can discuss it. Are

we up for it? Yes! Good. Clever boy. Right. Len, the first thing we're

going to discuss is Susana and Kevin, because you wanted to mention

- afterwards, you were very excited about their Viennese crosses. I did

indeed. Is that a cake? No, that's Viennese waltz. It's really a step

that came that dance and hence is called Viennese crosses. It's a step

to the left, a reverse turn, then the girl has to cross and close.

She's doing it beautifully. Normally, once you see it slowed

down to that degree, it's not quite Normally, once you see it slowed

perfect... Week two. It's week two. It's a very difficult step. There

was a lovely levelness about it. She wasn't bobbing up and down, and I

admired it. I liked it. Good. Let's clap. Yeah, let's clap. I would like

to talk to you about Natalie's beautiful - you said swan neck,

arms. Let's have a look at the clip. This is her Saturday night. Head

spins... That's extraordinary. To do it fast and get relaxed and such a

deep back, it's extraordinary. You gave them a nine. Normally you would

be much tenser, but it's so slow as well. What I loved about you, you

were fully involved Saturday night. You're not just watching and

enjoying. You were counting. No, counting. I remember that. Look at

you - like a strict boy, counting. I am very involved, you know, because

what I say has to make some sense in spite of what some people are

saying. I know exactly what I'm talking about. No, she was last

week, if you remember, she lost timing, and she got her feet in a

muddle. Tonight she worked very, very hard. I was counting all the

way through, and she was on time, which is a great achievement, and I

praised her for that. Good. I am clapping for that. Why not. I am in

love - I know you were - we're all falling in love. Look at his face.

absolutely amazing. What's wonderful about Tim is his character and he's

a fantastic character. He sells. He sells anything he does full tilt. I

mean, you cannot really complain about that. Yes, final shot of the

normally you might be having a lie-down. You couldn't help

yourselves have a little dance. I am talking to you, Craig. Have a look

Is it terrifying? They prolonged the agony. It was excruciating waiting

and waiting. I am so delightful and so thankful to get a chance to dance

felt I was in pole position for it but I can only echo what she said. I

am so relieved. I am having such a good time. I feel I am getting

better. It's good to be able to carry on. I am relieved not to have

to do the dance-off. Yes! You have a brand new little week with that

brand new little pumpkin at home. Yes. It's not a pumpkin but a baby!

Are you pleased to still be in? Yes, I am delighted, to have a baby and
