Last week, Strictly fell in love. For some, romance blossomed. Love,

:00:07.:00:16.

love, love. Julienne survived the dreaded dance off for the second

:00:17.:00:22.

time. And escaped a broken heart. This week 13 couples remain and

:00:23.:00:24.

superstition is in the air. Hey! 13 couples, unlucky for one. Not me

:00:25.:00:41.

hopefully. Live from the Strictly ballroom,

:00:42.:01:42.

this is Strictly Come Dancing. Please welcome your hosts, Sir Bruce

:01:43.:01:55.

Forsyth and Tess Daly. APPLAUSE

:01:56.:02:05.

I saw you, tricky foot work. A new step. I liked the new step. Thank

:02:06.:02:08.

you. CHEERING

:02:09.:02:15.

Oh, they're lively. They've woken up. Good evening, ladies and

:02:16.:02:20.

gentleman and children, welcome to Strictly Come Dancing. It's nice to

:02:21.:02:26.

see you, to see you... NICE! Wow, amazing. Nice to see you. You

:02:27.:02:31.

my love. Wasn't week was a great show, all about love. I think love

:02:32.:02:35.

is here to stay. I've heard more and more couples are having candle-lit

:02:36.:02:42.

dinners. Is that because romance is here forever? No, they can't afford

:02:43.:02:51.

the Energy Bills. APPLAUSE

:02:52.:02:59.

Vote for Forsyth! You know it makes sense.

:03:00.:03:02.

APPLAUSE Yes, it's in the far away now. I can

:03:03.:03:10.

feel it. I will be needed. For one couple love wasn't in the air.

:03:11.:03:14.

Vanessa and James left the dance floor for good. Sad, yes. Breaking

:03:15.:03:20.

up is hard to do and so our couples must once again face the music and

:03:21.:03:28.

battle on to avoid the dreaded dance-off. We've ramped up the

:03:29.:03:33.

tension enough. Is it time to begin worshipping in the temple of dance.

:03:34.:03:39.

Temple of dance? Who wrote that? Come here, my beauty. Oh, I say.

:03:40.:03:44.

It's time to meet the stars of our show.

:03:45.:03:49.

Pop star Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her partner Brendan Cole. Star of stage

:03:50.:03:54.

and screen Mark Benton and his partner Iveta Lukosiute. BBC

:03:55.:03:58.

Breakfast presenter Susanna Reid and her partner Kevin Clifton. England

:03:59.:04:03.

rugby hero Ben Cohen and his partner Kristina Rihanoff. Coronation Street

:04:04.:04:08.

Star Natalie Gumede and her partner Artem Chigvintsev. International

:04:09.:04:12.

fashion designer Julien McDonald and his partner Janette Manrara. Model

:04:13.:04:17.

and TV presenter Abbey Clancy and her partner Aljaz Skornajec. From

:04:18.:04:22.

Hollyoaks, Ashley Taylor Dawson and his partner Ola Jordan. Star of

:04:23.:04:28.

Dragon's Den Deborah Meaden and her partner Robin Windsor. Casualty star

:04:29.:04:31.

Patrick Robinson and his partner Anya Garnis. Countdown presenter

:04:32.:04:36.

Rachel Riley and her partner Pasha Kovalev. TV Chef and Hairy Biker

:04:37.:04:39.

Dave Myers and his partner Karen Hauer. And Bond girl and author

:04:40.:04:45.

Fiona Fullerton and her partner Anton du Beke.

:04:46.:04:59.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Look at them. Just look at them.

:05:00.:05:14.

There they all are. Now, now then, a lot of relations in I think. You

:05:15.:05:18.

might have read in the papers that Craig will soon be having a hip

:05:19.:05:26.

operation. Aawww. Evidently for the past ten years he's had to put up

:05:27.:05:36.

with a persistent pain. The first one who says, "So have we, Craig"

:05:37.:05:42.

will get a low mark tonight. As I thought - you're all chicken. Our 13

:05:43.:05:48.

lucky chickens are bursting to get to the dance floor and show us what

:05:49.:05:51.

they've done. Who is going first? I'm glad you asked, our first couple

:05:52.:05:56.

tonight is Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her partner Brendan Cole.

:05:57.:06:06.

APPLAUSE They're in the middle. Their dance

:06:07.:06:13.

will have a 1920s feel about it. I was born in the 1920s, what a lovely

:06:14.:06:19.

moment that must have been the midwife handing me to my mother and

:06:20.:06:23.

saying, "Congratulations Mrs Forsyth, it's a chin."

:06:24.:06:28.

LAUGHTER Shut up. That's not funny. You keep

:06:29.:06:34.

quiet as well. I'm not laughing. Here they are in training. .

:06:35.:06:40.

Dancing the samba for me was quite a challenge. I was a jumble of nerves.

:06:41.:06:48.

What you did was a sophisticated samba, chic yet sexy. Bruno was

:06:49.:06:55.

really kind to me. It's a bit intimidating the Latin numbers

:06:56.:06:59.

because they are supposed to be the sexy side. I got through it and I

:07:00.:07:03.

managed to enjoy it. But it's a whole new dance this week. This week

:07:04.:07:11.

we are dancing the foxtrot. Sorry. You've got to attack every dance in

:07:12.:07:15.

the right mind set, put yourself in that Syria. Picture the costume.

:07:16.:07:21.

Maybe if I went to try and find some clothes from that era it might be a

:07:22.:07:25.

good way to get into character. You want to go shopping? I want to go

:07:26.:07:29.

shopping. We're going vintage clothes shopping, I'm sure it will

:07:30.:07:33.

help with my foxtrot. Pretty things everywhere. Shopping, probably not

:07:34.:07:36.

my first choice of things to do. But I am here to support. If Sophie

:07:37.:07:41.

wants shopping, Sophie gets shopping. When we were shopping,

:07:42.:07:45.

Brendan did look a bit bored from time to time. But I'd say he

:07:46.:07:49.

tolerated the exercise really. My head is definitely in the 1930s now.

:07:50.:07:51.

I just hope my feet are too. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:07:52.:09:51.

What a start! Oh, I say, enjoy it. Look at that. Oh, what a start.

:09:52.:10:00.

Thank you both. Oh, you're embarrassed. A little bit. Don't be

:10:01.:10:05.

embarrassed about being that good, never. Let's welcome our judges,

:10:06.:10:11.

Craig, Darcy, Len and Bruno! APPLAUSE

:10:12.:10:20.

I'm sure the judges, all of our dancers and our audience would like

:10:21.:10:24.

to join me in wishing Craig good luck for his hip operation. Are you

:10:25.:10:32.

ready? Let's do it right. If we're going to do it, do it right. Ready?

:10:33.:10:43.

Hip Hip Hooray. In all seriousness, we do wish you all the best for it.

:10:44.:10:47.

I hope everything goes absolutely wonderful. That is from our hearts.

:10:48.:10:55.

That's very sweet, thank you. Now then, I've been dying to do that all

:10:56.:10:59.

day. Len, what did you think of that? No messing about, you went

:11:00.:11:02.

straight into the routine, none of that silly stuff going on. I loved

:11:03.:11:07.

the music. I loved the routine. I loved the dance. What more do you

:11:08.:11:16.

want? Fabulous. Oh, my darling, you really looked like a Hollywood star

:11:17.:11:24.

from Hollywood's golden era. Exquisite elegance, immaculate sense

:11:25.:11:29.

of style. What I really like, when you take a turn, you hold it until

:11:30.:11:33.

the last moment of the musical phrase, before you go into the next

:11:34.:11:41.

one. It's so lovely to see. Sustain the top line. That's the only tiny

:11:42.:11:46.

little thing. You really have to sustain that. I'd like to add,

:11:47.:11:50.

that's probably the singer in you that helps you do those it helps

:11:51.:12:00.

with the dance. I have to agree with Bruno, your top line is suffering

:12:01.:12:04.

somewhat. That's a small thing. A couple of heels missing, but it was

:12:05.:12:07.

elegant. It was graceful. The movement around the floor was

:12:08.:12:12.

absolutely exquisite. Fabulous clean pave ots, darling -- pivots,

:12:13.:12:21.

darling, loved it. You really gave Sophie a really hard

:12:22.:12:26.

foxtrot, but you created such ease, with your travelling and gliding. I

:12:27.:12:30.

would say when you create that spin, in the standing spins, don't let the

:12:31.:12:35.

shoulder rise, that was the only thing. You get faster and faster.

:12:36.:12:39.

But not that it bothered me because you have style and grace all the way

:12:40.:12:44.

through. Beautiful. It was near perfection. Thank you very much.

:12:45.:12:45.

Well done both of you. Off you go. What a start to the show!

:12:46.:13:01.

APPLAUSE You do not disappoint. Are you

:13:02.:13:04.

embarrassed? Yeah, I was a bit. Ened ing ovation to start the show. It

:13:05.:13:08.

doesn't get much better than that. Bruno said you looked like a

:13:09.:13:12.

Hollywood star. Four weeks in, you are excelling in both ballroom and

:13:13.:13:16.

Latin. Do you feel that you're falling in love with ballroom

:13:17.:13:19.

dancing? I love, love, love the way it looks. No, I find it really

:13:20.:13:22.

tricky. There's so much going on all the time, the technique. I can only

:13:23.:13:26.

credit Brendan if I'm getting it right. You make it look effortless.

:13:27.:13:31.

You can't fake chemistry. You two have bucket loads. What's she like

:13:32.:13:36.

to dance with? Foxtrot is a tricky one to get feeling relaxed. It felt

:13:37.:13:39.

beautiful out there. You should be very proud of yourself. And your

:13:40.:13:45.

84-year-old granny Sybil is here tonight. Yeah, Sybil! Scores are in:

:13:46.:14:09.

She said, "I can't cope." Great score. She needs a sit down. I hope

:14:10.:14:18.

my granny's all right. If you think that foxtrot was good enough to keep

:14:19.:14:23.

Sophie and Brendan in the competition these are the numbers

:14:24.:14:24.

you need: Voting lines don't open until all

:14:25.:14:38.

our couples have danced. Please don't vote now. If you do your vote

:14:39.:14:42.

won't count and you may be charged. The couples with the lowest combined

:14:43.:14:46.

score will be in the dance-off tomorrow night. Scared faces. Who's

:14:47.:14:48.

next? Our next couple is Fiona Fullerton

:14:49.:14:56.

and her partner Anton Du Beke. Very popular couple. As you know, Fiona

:14:57.:15:06.

used to be a Bond girl. I told her I saw a Bond film the other night and

:15:07.:15:10.

I really fancied one of the girls. But she was way, way too young for

:15:11.:15:17.

me. She said, "Who was it? I said, "Judi Dench."

:15:18.:15:23.

APPLAUSE Poor Judi. She never ever got over

:15:24.:15:25.

it. Here they are in training. I was really looking forward to the

:15:26.:15:37.

dance because Anton is the king of ballroom and the waltz. I felt that

:15:38.:15:43.

I was in very safe hands. Nice and classy, Princess Fiona. I was

:15:44.:15:49.

thrilled we got 28 points. I don't think I've had 28 points in the last

:15:50.:15:53.

three series added together. Now, there is that added pressure to keep

:15:54.:15:58.

improving, but whether the scores will improve, who knows. Good. Put

:15:59.:16:06.

your arms down. I'm a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan. When my father

:16:07.:16:10.

passed away in 2008, it became a tradition that my mum would come to

:16:11.:16:14.

our house for the weekend and then we would all watch Strictly

:16:15.:16:20.

together. So this week, I thought I'd bring extra Strictly magic to

:16:21.:16:26.

our family gathering. What a wonderful surprise. Would you like

:16:27.:16:32.

to get up. All my friends are going to be

:16:33.:16:35.

really jealous that I've had a dance with Anton. It was an absolute

:16:36.:16:42.

pleasure dancing with Fiona's mum. Exquisite dancing obviously runs in

:16:43.:16:45.

the family. I don't really want to be sitting on the sofa on a Saturday

:16:46.:16:47.

night too soon. Keep dancing! Come here. What happened at the end

:16:48.:18:48.

there? Something? So you invited him back to meet the family, did you? I

:18:49.:18:53.

didn't see the film. While you catch your breath, it's a good time to

:18:54.:18:56.

welcome our fabulous singers, Dave Arch and his fabulous orchestra.

:18:57.:19:11.

Wave. OK now then, Bruno, we start with you. Fiona, sweet heart, the

:19:12.:19:15.

packaging was very enticing and very promising at the beginning. There

:19:16.:19:21.

were a few serious issues with balance and losing your step and

:19:22.:19:25.

fluidity, my darling. The rumba is all about, no, you know. It's all

:19:26.:19:31.

about continuous motion. You can't just stop and start. It was very

:19:32.:19:37.

evident. I still think you have it, but you really have to concentrate

:19:38.:19:42.

in sustaining your performances. I am. We all make mistakes. Of course.

:19:43.:19:50.

Craig? Dare I mention it, the hip action, darling, I thought was very,

:19:51.:19:59.

very stiff and plonky. It sort of clunked into place. Your exit from

:20:00.:20:05.

the floor spin, you did a bizarre jump out of that. It lacked a bit of

:20:06.:20:10.

rhythm and any sort of connection with Anton. Also your balance went

:20:11.:20:15.

and you missed that last move there. That was quite sad. Overall not your

:20:16.:20:22.

best. We choreographed it like that, actually.

:20:23.:20:26.

APPLAUSE You can do it normally... We've done

:20:27.:20:33.

it in practice many times. We thought we'd do it in the

:20:34.:20:41.

controversial version. Darcey? For me, you have that slinky lady

:20:42.:20:45.

effect, you were caressing the floor. It was very good at the

:20:46.:20:48.

beginning, but it's true, you do lose focus. I really don't want us

:20:49.:20:53.

to notice or you to show us that you're making any mistakes. Please

:20:54.:20:58.

don't show it. It's really important that you focus. I mean, I think

:20:59.:21:05.

there is so much in you and you've got to survive. So bring out the

:21:06.:21:10.

fight in you next time. Yes, exactly. Good comments there. OK,

:21:11.:21:17.

Len? All the steps were. There the attitude was good. The rumba is such

:21:18.:21:23.

ape slow, pre-- such a slow, precise dance and it magnifies any mistakes.

:21:24.:21:28.

When it's fast moving, you make a mistake and you're on to the next

:21:29.:21:34.

thing. With a rumba, it's like Len's lens, you see it. There were a few

:21:35.:21:38.

issues. I liked the attitude you came out with. I thought there was

:21:39.:21:45.

one. One what? One issue. One in each section. You messed up the fan

:21:46.:21:50.

position. You went off on the wrong foot. You were falling all over him.

:21:51.:21:54.

I was being nice and then you come back. I enjoyed watching you, as I

:21:55.:21:58.

always do. You shouldn't have said that.

:21:59.:22:10.

Any way, off you go. APPLAUSE

:22:11.:22:11.

Oh, I love you. And breathe. Darcey said similar,

:22:12.:22:25.

Bruno said you have got it but you have to concentrate. Do the nerves

:22:26.:22:30.

get to you? I think I'm concentrating like mad. I don't know

:22:31.:22:34.

what the issue is. I did lose my balance and I've never done that

:22:35.:22:38.

before. It's becoming my USP to go wrong every week. The rumba is a

:22:39.:22:42.

difficult dance. How do you think Fiona did? Tremendously, it is a

:22:43.:22:45.

difficult dance, if you go a little bit off, it is magnified in that

:22:46.:22:49.

respect. I thought you did beautifully. You danced beautifully.

:22:50.:22:54.

You look beautiful. The scores are in:

:22:55.:23:18.

Those scores are only half the story. Your votes could change the

:23:19.:23:26.

course of Fiona Andrew ton's dancing future. Call from your mobile or

:23:27.:23:29.

land line or get online. There's so much to come. Julienne and Janette.

:23:30.:23:35.

They're doing the salsa. And Natalie and Artem with the quickstep.

:23:36.:23:41.

Next up is Mark Benton and his partner, Iveta Lukosiute. Now, they

:23:42.:23:53.

are dancing to an urban rap hip-hop song. Let me tell you everything I

:23:54.:24:02.

know about urban rap and hip-hop. LAUGHTER

:24:03.:24:10.

Here they are in training. I thought our performance went really well.

:24:11.:24:21.

All the judges last week picked up on our story telling. You can tell a

:24:22.:24:25.

story. It was mimed to perfection. It's something that I love to do.

:24:26.:24:30.

Craig picked up on my hands again. Absolutely ruining the line. With

:24:31.:24:36.

the nerves you can't think of everything. I love watching you, you

:24:37.:24:40.

get it and that's great. I was thrilled with the score. Hopefully

:24:41.:24:44.

we can keep going that way rather than that way. This week we're

:24:45.:24:56.

dancing the cha cha to MC Hammer U Can't Touch This. Mark's cools are

:24:57.:24:59.

not as cool as he thinks they are. I can throw some shapes, I can bust

:25:00.:25:04.

some moves. I'm trying my best to be cool. Mark needs to be cool in this

:25:05.:25:09.

dance. I got an idea that might just help him to get into character and

:25:10.:25:16.

be cool. Hi Marky boy. I've got you some accessories. Check it out.

:25:17.:25:20.

# You've got to fight for your right to party #

:25:21.:25:27.

You look cool, you feel cool, let's dance cool. I've got the moves. I've

:25:28.:25:30.

got the attitude. Bring on Saturday night.

:25:31.:25:35.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE There we are, Mark, enjoy it.

:25:36.:27:41.

A standing ovation and well deserved. That was wonderful.

:27:42.:27:50.

Now I know what urban rap and hip-hop is. I think! Right Craig? I

:27:51.:27:59.

can see what the judges think. I have to say, I can't believe the

:28:00.:28:10.

audience. I mean... BOO They give you a false sense of

:28:11.:28:14.

security. It was all very flat footed and stompy. The cha cha cha

:28:15.:28:19.

that you actually did was danced, I'm afraid, very badly. I don't know

:28:20.:28:33.

how are they... I disagree. That was brilliant! There was leg action. I

:28:34.:28:38.

didn't know you had that in you. It was great and you've worked really

:28:39.:28:44.

hard on those details. Every little look. Fabulous. It's just brilliant.

:28:45.:28:52.

Loved it. Len, what did you think? I tell you what, you're full of

:28:53.:28:55.

talent, I won't tell you what Craig's full of. I tell you what you

:28:56.:29:02.

had in there, you had so many basic steps, New Yorks, time steps, Cuban

:29:03.:29:07.

breaks, you did a fan and a hockey stick. Mark, do it again.

:29:08.:29:19.

It was so beautiful. Bruno? MC Mark is going for gold. Or was it brass,

:29:20.:29:25.

I'm not quite sure. But you had plenty of bling. It was unique. It

:29:26.:29:30.

was different. It was memorable. And very, very funny. And the way they

:29:31.:29:39.

work together, your movement, it was a team. We are a team. Thank you. It

:29:40.:29:47.

was wonderful. Off you go. APPLAUSE

:29:48.:30:01.

Break it down, touch me. One time. Len wants to see it again. Show us

:30:02.:30:08.

one more hip-hop move, because you can. Yeah! That's the one.

:30:09.:30:14.

That was one heck of a cha cha. We absolutely loved it. The aupd yens

:30:15.:30:18.

were on -- audience were on their feet. Have you found your funky

:30:19.:30:22.

Latin side? Definitely. Safe to say. How hard does he work in training,

:30:23.:30:27.

looks like it. There were a lot of moves. I don't want to make it sound

:30:28.:30:31.

like he doesn't work hard because we have a lot of fun. But he works real

:30:32.:30:38.

little hard, honestly. Yeah, I do. I do! Scores are in:

:30:39.:31:08.

Ignore Craig. Call from your mobile or from your land line or you can

:31:09.:31:20.

vote for free online. But stop. Hammertime! Thank you. Nice. Voting

:31:21.:31:25.

won't open until all our couples have danced. I'm going to dig out my

:31:26.:31:31.

baggy pants now. Who's next? Our next couple is Ashley Taylor

:31:32.:31:37.

Dawson and his partner, Ola Jordan. A lot of fans here. Now, Ashley is

:31:38.:31:44.

one of the hardest working celebrities we have ever had and

:31:45.:31:49.

he's coping very well with the pitter patter of tiny feet. Nothing

:31:50.:31:53.

to do with his new baby, he's got mice in the dressing room.

:31:54.:32:00.

Alan Carr game me that joke! Here they are in training. I was really

:32:01.:32:09.

excited about the samba, because it was a fast routine. The bottom line

:32:10.:32:15.

is you've coped well with a very difficult dance. That's the best

:32:16.:32:18.

thing I've heard in years. I was happy with that. Just maybe do up

:32:19.:32:23.

the shirt next week and then I won't be distracted! I love the fact that

:32:24.:32:26.

I'm on Strictly Come Dancing. It's the best experience of my life. I

:32:27.:32:33.

just want to improve. It's a hug. This week, I'm dancing

:32:34.:32:39.

the Viennese waltz. Ashley has got to be romantic and loving. Don't

:32:40.:32:47.

laugh. Don't smile. It's romantic. I've got a good idea. In order to

:32:48.:32:53.

inspire Ashley, I took him to a cinema to watch the old classics.

:32:54.:33:00.

Very good, very funny. I saw my lovely face on the big screen

:33:01.:33:09.

necking birds. Thanks Ola, not embarrassing at all (! ) I think he

:33:10.:33:14.

was happy the were only two of us in the cinema. Are we doing that? No,

:33:15.:33:19.

just the look on your face. You've stitched me up. Revenge is sweet.

:33:20.:33:21.

You wait. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:33:22.:35:12.

Very lovely. Lovely rue teen, beautiful. Come in here. Oh,

:35:13.:35:22.

absolutely. Due enjoy that? Yes. I couldn't wear a vest. With a lovely

:35:23.:35:29.

outfit like that? Right, Darcey? Ashley, a veen yeets waltz is --

:35:30.:35:35.

Viennese waltz is faster than a waltz, it has many turns, it's

:35:36.:35:38.

smooth and romantic and you gave many of those things. It was a

:35:39.:35:42.

little, for me, a little bit too safe and placed. So I just want you

:35:43.:35:46.

to push yourself next time and go for it. What you did give me is a

:35:47.:35:51.

neck, your eye line level, very elegant in your top line. That's

:35:52.:35:54.

what I really wanted especially from last week, and you gave me that.

:35:55.:35:57.

Just push yourself a little bit harder. Drive through. Go for it.

:35:58.:36:06.

I thought it was beautiful. Len? It had romance, elegance and there was

:36:07.:36:11.

a style to it. I thought your footwork, you've obviously worked on

:36:12.:36:14.

that. A little bit wafty on occasions, I thought. And the other

:36:15.:36:21.

thing, I liked the fleckerl, it needed for me, you get a bit stiff,

:36:22.:36:25.

you're being told keep your head to the left and then you get stiff. So

:36:26.:36:30.

you get a bit stiff in the top. Just needed a bit more gusto to it. A bit

:36:31.:36:37.

more gotcha. I think we know what you mean. Buno? I -- Bruno? I didn't

:36:38.:36:43.

mind the wafty at all. He extends his lines beautifully. The casual

:36:44.:36:53.

flick of the wrist. Very Darcey. We love that. It was tender, romantic,

:36:54.:36:59.

they are right, you need more oomph. You need to drive it. Keep it there.

:37:00.:37:03.

That was a good Darcey, I tell you that. You could have fooled me. It

:37:04.:37:09.

had me going. The only thing that bothered me about it were your arms

:37:10.:37:15.

out of hold. They seem unnatural actually. They're not as flowy as

:37:16.:37:21.

Bruno was making out. They're actually quite bizarrely stiff. No,

:37:22.:37:25.

it wasn't stiff. They are. You into Ed to work on that. No. That would

:37:26.:37:30.

have swept me away with that. It ruined it a bit more me. Oh, well,

:37:31.:37:37.

some things to work on. Still don't like the vest. Don't wear a vest

:37:38.:37:42.

with a lovely outfit like that. I'm surprised at awe -- you, I really

:37:43.:37:47.

am. You're getting the blame. No more vests. Good luck.

:37:48.:37:50.

APPLAUSE Your beautiful angel Ola. We thought

:37:51.:38:06.

it was gorgeous to watch. How did it feel? Maybe I was a bit stiff, that

:38:07.:38:10.

was probably the nerves. I enjoyed it. How has the public's reaction

:38:11.:38:15.

been to your taking part in Strictly? Everywhere you go, they

:38:16.:38:20.

wait until they're leaving and they say, "Good luck." It's quite

:38:21.:38:23.

overwhelming. The scores are in: Great score for you guys. No more

:38:24.:38:52.

bruises. A lot in training. Call from your mobile or from your

:38:53.:38:58.

landline, or you can vote online if Ashley and Ola's gorgeous Viennese

:38:59.:39:04.

waltz whisked you away. Earlier I gave you the wrong number for Mark

:39:05.:39:16.

and Iveta. The numbers are: Patrick is begging Anya for mercy and Ben is

:39:17.:39:21.

proving hard to handle. I bet! Our fifth couple is Julien Macdonald

:39:22.:39:31.

and his partner Janette Manrara. Now they are dancing a salsa to a

:39:32.:39:36.

Spice Girls hit. The whole routine is going to be a tribute to herbs

:39:37.:39:43.

and spices. Julienne will be trying -- Julien will try his best to cut

:39:44.:39:48.

the mustard. Janette will be wearing hardly any cloves. And we all hope

:39:49.:39:59.

and pray that Julien keeps in thyme. Here they are in training. I was

:40:00.:40:06.

really looking forward to the show on Saturday. I really liked my

:40:07.:40:12.

routine. I loved the song. It was a criminal attack on the jive. In the

:40:13.:40:18.

dance-off it's Julien and Janette. Here I go again. I was more

:40:19.:40:25.

focussed. I need to keep Julien and Janette. I need to prove to everyone

:40:26.:40:28.

that I can dance and I want to be here.

:40:29.:40:33.

I'm really happy that I'm dancing to a Spice Girls song. I used to dress

:40:34.:40:37.

all the Spice Girls. I didn't realise they were all Strictly fans.

:40:38.:40:41.

Julien good luck. Don't mess it up. And I'll be thinking about you.

:40:42.:40:46.

What's before that? Left first. I love the dance. I love the song. My

:40:47.:40:52.

problem is I can't remember the steps. I created a game show memory

:40:53.:40:56.

show for Julien. It was Spice Girls themed to help him remember his

:40:57.:41:01.

steps. I remember that, I made that. After two weeks in the dance-off

:41:02.:41:05.

it's nice to have some fun in the training room. Go! Steps, Union Jack

:41:06.:41:11.

dress, a mug, a cuddly toy, a picture of Bruce, erm...... Well

:41:12.:41:16.

done. Let's hope I can really spice up my dance routine this week. I

:41:17.:41:20.

really don't want to end up in the bottom two again.

:41:21.:41:26.

I think he's got it. By jove he's got it. Well done. Thank you Bruce.

:41:27.:43:23.

You put a lot of effort into that. I liked your attitude. You come out

:43:24.:43:27.

and attacked the dance. It was a bit wild and whacky. It needed a bit

:43:28.:43:32.

more control. So work a little bit on that. The dynamic of it is

:43:33.:43:37.

terrific. Control yourself. Well, that's a good tip. Definitely high

:43:38.:43:45.

on spice. It looked like you all tried to do them at once, scary,

:43:46.:43:53.

spicy, baby, posh. Sporty. The thing is... Now to be honest, I have to

:43:54.:43:59.

tell the truth, you threw yourself into it beautifully. You always do

:44:00.:44:03.

everything you can. But, if you stay on, you cannot force yourself upon a

:44:04.:44:09.

dance. You have to go with it. You have to go with the music, because

:44:10.:44:12.

what happens, the worst thing again is your timing. It's like you're not

:44:13.:44:18.

listening to the music. You're trying so hard and I feel for you.

:44:19.:44:22.

But ease off a bit. Go with it. Listen to the music. Was better, on

:44:23.:44:29.

the beat more times than not. I am trying really hard. I love it,

:44:30.:44:35.

but I find it so difficult. Because you overthink it maybe.

:44:36.:44:40.

Craig? There was no rotation at all, whatsoever in the hip department.

:44:41.:44:45.

This dance should flow and have a motor and it should be an easier

:44:46.:44:49.

steady thing that goes through it. You lack musicality. That is your

:44:50.:44:56.

problem, I think. There was a lot of hip action in the beginning.

:44:57.:45:06.

Don't answer that. Darcey? It was certainly fun. There were dynamics

:45:07.:45:10.

there. That's what you need. You've tried really hard at keeping in

:45:11.:45:15.

sync. You were nearly all the way through in sync. It is just those

:45:16.:45:19.

isolations, but I think that was your best dance.

:45:20.:45:28.

It was. It was his best chance, but we

:45:29.:45:34.

didn't have much to choose from. Go on off you go!

:45:35.:45:37.

APPLAUSE Well done. We were all rooting for

:45:38.:45:51.

you up here. You nailed it. Darcey said your best dance yet. Bruno says

:45:52.:46:00.

you do all you can. I give it 400, 500, 1,000%. We know it. I have

:46:01.:46:08.

2,000 cratals on. -- cystals on. Twice you've survived the dance-off,

:46:09.:46:11.

have you done enough to not be there again this week? I hope so. I've

:46:12.:46:16.

danced night and day. I don't know what else I can do. The commitment

:46:17.:46:17.

is there. Let's hope the scores are. I do believe that is your best score

:46:18.:46:43.

yet. They're going up and up. If Julien and Janette spiced up your

:46:44.:46:54.

life then call: Or vote online later. They do not want to be in the

:46:55.:47:00.

dance-off for a third time. No. No Second Night Out. -- No, no.

:47:01.:47:05.

More drama tonight. Deborah is revealing all to a Eurovision

:47:06.:47:10.

classic and Dave is a matinee idol. Who's next?

:47:11.:47:15.

Now, it for our next couple Rachel Riley and her partner, Pasha

:47:16.:47:20.

Kovalev. Another lovely couple. For their

:47:21.:47:27.

dance they're going to be a pair of gangsters robbing a bank. I went out

:47:28.:47:31.

with a girl who worked in a bank once, the trouble was every time she

:47:32.:47:36.

sent me a love letter, she charged me 25 quid.

:47:37.:47:45.

Is it there? Well do it then! APPLAUSE

:47:46.:47:45.

Here they are in training. When I knew I had to dance the cha

:47:46.:47:55.

cha the week after the salsa, I was a bit scared. I had to get myself in

:47:56.:48:00.

the zone. Overall I was rely pleased with how it went. You got your old

:48:01.:48:08.

hips going there. Bionic bum. It was clean and precise. To go from 20

:48:09.:48:12.

points in the salsa to 27 in the cha cha I was really, really happy. I

:48:13.:48:18.

can only get better from here, I hope. This week Pasha and I are

:48:19.:48:22.

dancing the quickstep. For the quickstep you need a lot of speed,

:48:23.:48:29.

stamina and quick reflexes. If we can relate it to a sport that will

:48:30.:48:32.

really help your dance. So what sport? Let's play some squash.

:48:33.:48:42.

Come on. I have an idea. Every time you swing, before the ball comes

:48:43.:48:45.

back, give me a quickstep. Don't stop. Shoulders down. Keep

:48:46.:48:50.

your feet going. Faster, faster. I did feel silly doing quicksteps on

:48:51.:48:54.

the court. But hopefully it gets it into my head that I need to

:48:55.:48:57.

anticipate the next move, which should help. You are so fast here,

:48:58.:49:02.

so if you just bring it in the ballroom on Saturday night, your

:49:03.:49:04.

quickstep would be unstoppable. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:49:05.:51:01.

They were after our Glitterball. That was the big steal. Well done,

:51:02.:51:04.

the pair of you. That was a fast quickstep.

:51:05.:51:11.

That was really fast. Bruno? Rachel, you tricky girl, you just about got

:51:12.:51:18.

away with it. I tell you, plenty of content, but what you need is

:51:19.:51:21.

control. I think a lot of the mistakes happen because you lose

:51:22.:51:24.

control of your body. Work on the control. Control and strength. OK.

:51:25.:51:30.

Craig? The thing that really let that down was your top line. That

:51:31.:51:35.

would have looked and OK, you would have got away with it, but I felt

:51:36.:51:40.

like you were being flung about. You lost your balance. Then a series of

:51:41.:51:43.

mistakes and the leap at the end went wrong. You must tighten your

:51:44.:51:48.

bum cheeks darling when you go through that at the end, then you

:51:49.:51:52.

will glide beautifully. There's a good tip for you, my dear.

:51:53.:51:58.

Work on that. Darcey? Pasha gave you a very

:51:59.:52:03.

challenging quickstep. It's not easy. That was very fast. Just watch

:52:04.:52:07.

you don't grip on his shoulder like that or it's a bit of gripping. I

:52:08.:52:11.

know I've said it before, it is about strength in your core because

:52:12.:52:14.

you have, that was hard and you did a very good job, just trek then that

:52:15.:52:22.

-- streng Chen that core -- strengthen that corps and there will

:52:23.:52:29.

be much improvement. Len. If you can stop laughing. You'll be clenching

:52:30.:52:38.

your bum cheeks tomorrow when they kick...

:52:39.:52:39.

LAUGHTER What was that? What did you say? I

:52:40.:52:48.

can't repeat it. It was only a bit of whimsy.

:52:49.:52:53.

Listen, the quaunt of steps was there -- quantity of steps was

:52:54.:52:56.

there. It was the quality in the top. You started off terrific. I

:52:57.:52:59.

thought this is going to be your best dance. As it went on, you lost

:53:00.:53:05.

your posture a bit. Lovely foot work, though. I loved everything

:53:06.:53:08.

down stairs was beautiful. It's just you have to get this top up a bit

:53:09.:53:12.

and focus. Well done.

:53:13.:53:19.

It was lovely. Don't listen to that nonsense. Away you go. Good luck.

:53:20.:53:23.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Bruno's officially off his rocker.

:53:24.:53:37.

Love that. Right, Len loved your foot work. Do you feel like you've

:53:38.:53:40.

found your dancing feet? I found them and then I lost them and then I

:53:41.:53:45.

found them. I'm not sure. Maybe one. Darcey said you did a very good job.

:53:46.:53:48.

Encouraging comments from those two. Scores are in:

:53:49.:54:09.

26! Call from your mobile or from your land line, or you can go online

:54:10.:54:25.

when voting opens later on. Six dancers down, seven more waiting

:54:26.:54:28.

nervously in the blocks and still all this to come: One, two and

:54:29.:54:38.

three. It feels so weird. Have I actually got hips? You do have hips.

:54:39.:54:53.

Here comes Shakira. Your back? Does it hurt? Yeah. This was your paso

:54:54.:55:01.

face, it has to turn into a happy face. Now is not the time to be

:55:02.:55:09.

going all shy on me. Len, why didn't you just say,up,up,

:55:10.:55:15.

pig's bum. -- yum, yum, pig's bum. Everything

:55:16.:55:21.

would have been fine. I know what camera it is! I'm not an idiot. Did

:55:22.:55:27.

you see that? Next up, it's Ben Cohen and his partner, Kristina

:55:28.:55:32.

Rihanoff. Yes, very popular, they really are.

:55:33.:55:38.

For their dance, they're going to be a life-sized car on the floor.

:55:39.:55:43.

You'll see it in a minute just there. Funnily enough, the car

:55:44.:55:49.

reminds me so much of Ben - very powerful, as a well upholstered

:55:50.:55:55.

seat, and looks great with the top off. Am I right, ladies? Get back!

:55:56.:56:05.

Right, here they are in training. Last Saturday, I felt better when I

:56:06.:56:09.

danced. I started to let go a bit. There's no nerves. They've

:56:10.:56:13.

disappeared. Seven! We got good scores. That was completely

:56:14.:56:17.

spontaneous, going up and giving Craig a kiss and a cuddle, bless

:56:18.:56:21.

him. Keep going because you're going well. We're heading in the right

:56:22.:56:23.

direction. That's what the competition is about. There's no

:56:24.:56:26.

dancing background and seeing you turn into a beautiful dancer - I

:56:27.:56:36.

hope! One, two, three, four... This week, we're dancing the salsa. It's

:56:37.:56:44.

a massive transition from rugby player to a person on the dance

:56:45.:56:48.

floor. Rugby players did really well on the show. You know Matt Dawson

:56:49.:56:55.

and Austin Healy did wonderfully. Today I arranged for Matt to come to

:56:56.:56:59.

rehearsals and help Ben with his salsa. It was good to catch up with

:57:00.:57:05.

him and he gave me some tips. I thought his salsa was great. I

:57:06.:57:10.

think he can move his hips. He's got rhythm. So pleasantly surprised.

:57:11.:57:19.

He's got it. He hasn't lost it. I'm happy to have Matt in. Hopefully

:57:20.:57:23.

fingers crossed and I can let go on Saturday fight into.

:57:24.:57:25.

-- Saturday night. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:57:26.:59:08.

They love you. Look at them. Well, a standing

:59:09.:59:17.

ovation for Ben. I tell you, the rugby player, the way you picked her

:59:18.:59:22.

head up. That was - I loved that bit. Bute flifl. -- beautiful. Dirty

:59:23.:59:32.

oiled mechanic... Ticking every box. I loved it. Craig, control yourself.

:59:33.:59:42.

Next time let him kiss you. Ben, you can certainly handle Kristina with

:59:43.:59:47.

ease and confidence. You definitely have come out of your shell. You're

:59:48.:59:50.

having fun. I love it. You'll wait your turn.

:59:51.:00:11.

Len's first. Ben, you've got the guns and tonight

:00:12.:00:15.

you have the ammunition. That was terrific.

:00:16.:00:23.

Well done. Bruno? Surprisingly smooth for such a big bruiser. I

:00:24.:00:34.

want to see more of you. Of me? Of him. I thought so. The way you are

:00:35.:00:39.

getting on with him is absolutely wonderful. Well done. Ben, keep

:00:40.:00:43.

going. He's got the guns and he's got the

:00:44.:00:59.

ammunition. Don't touch them. Let me think, I'm

:01:00.:01:06.

not shy. Standing ovation out there today. Darcey said that you've

:01:07.:01:09.

really come out of your shell and you look like you're having fun.

:01:10.:01:13.

Were you? I feel more at home out there now I can throw someone

:01:14.:01:17.

around. The strength, those lifts were incredibly dangerous. A lot of

:01:18.:01:22.

trust there. Yes. A lot of hard work. He's a strong guy, he can

:01:23.:01:25.

handle it. It takes a strong guy all the way up there, impressive. The

:01:26.:01:27.

scores are in: You enjoyed that dance. You thought

:01:28.:01:54.

that might be a dance, that's your highest score to date. Call from a

:01:55.:02:02.

mobile or land line. Or you can vote online if you want to see Ben and

:02:03.:02:07.

Kristina tackle another dance next week. As well as going online to

:02:08.:02:13.

vote you can catch up with the back stage shenanigans on Twitter and

:02:14.:02:16.

Facebook. For our next couple Deborah Meaden

:02:17.:02:24.

and Robin Windsor. Now, tonight she's doing the jive. I

:02:25.:02:30.

think that's a big mistake. I mean, when she's on Dragon's Den, she

:02:31.:02:38.

says, "I'm in" Or "I'm out" Why don't they give her the Hokey Cokey?

:02:39.:02:43.

She'd get four tens for that. I wish I could do that again. Never mind.

:02:44.:02:50.

You see, it's live television. If it were recorded, I could do it again.

:02:51.:02:55.

Never mind, here they are in training.

:02:56.:02:59.

I really enjoyed the quickstep. I got a standing ovation. I cannot

:03:00.:03:07.

believe this. It's amazing. You put a smile on my face, darling. I

:03:08.:03:11.

really enjoyed that. I was so chuffed with Craig's comment.

:03:12.:03:14.

There's a first time for everything. Your best dance to date, my lovely.

:03:15.:03:20.

I'm hanging onto the judges' every word. Because the important thing is

:03:21.:03:25.

I get better. This week I'm doing the jive. Robin has taught me --

:03:26.:03:36.

talked me into dancing to Bucks Fizz Making Your Mind. I'm having a great

:03:37.:03:41.

time dancing, but I am still quite inhibited. The nation at home are

:03:42.:03:45.

thinking, please don't take this skirt off. If you're not feeling the

:03:46.:03:48.

vibe of Eurovision, there's only one way to make that happen. I think we

:03:49.:03:52.

should have a little Eurovision party. This is a perfect idea. Oh,

:03:53.:04:00.

look. We watched the original Eurovision Song Contest. It really

:04:01.:04:02.

reminded me what this dance was all about. Here's the moment. Oh, my

:04:03.:04:10.

goodness. By the end of it, I was getting it. I hope it's a ten and

:04:11.:04:13.

not nil poi. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:04:14.:06:14.

Well done, Deborah. Are you all right, darling. Don't talk to me. I

:06:15.:06:22.

won't. But it was lovely. Darcey, start us off. That's a hard dance.

:06:23.:06:26.

You have to have sharp kicks, energy, bounce. It was a little

:06:27.:06:33.

soft. I'm sorry. I missed your confident self. It just wasn't your

:06:34.:06:37.

dance. There is always one. But it just wasn't yours. But you have so

:06:38.:06:41.

much enthusiasm and I know you can come back stronger next week.

:06:42.:06:47.

There you are, some dances suit. Len? Bucks Fizz, you know it had

:06:48.:06:52.

plenty of fizz, you have to buck your feet up. There just wasn't the

:06:53.:06:57.

technique there. You went wrong a couple of times. I love you, like

:06:58.:07:01.

Darcey says, I love your enthusiasm. I like the way you come out. You

:07:02.:07:05.

have a brilliant smile. You are giving it plenty. You just need to

:07:06.:07:08.

work on the technique a bit. She gives her all. You got the

:07:09.:07:13.

Eurovision camp right, I tell you that. It was light hearted fun. But

:07:14.:07:17.

they're right, basically the technique wasn't strong enough in

:07:18.:07:20.

this dance. You'll come back and do better. In other dances, she's been

:07:21.:07:28.

wonderful. There was no real spring in your steps. The kicks were very,

:07:29.:07:35.

very lame. They weren't pointed the foot or anything. The ball changes

:07:36.:07:38.

were flat footed unfortunately. Not your dance. I loved it. I had a

:07:39.:07:47.

lovely time. You've done the jive. Who can take that away? Off you go!

:07:48.:07:52.

Come on over you two. Something's changed about you Robin, is it the

:07:53.:08:12.

beard? My pants. Definitely the beard. What are the judges saying,

:08:13.:08:15.

it wasn't your dance. When you were in the Dragon's Den, did you imagine

:08:16.:08:18.

you'd be getting your skirt whipped off in front of ten million people?

:08:19.:08:24.

Good heavens no. But things might change in the den from now on. You

:08:25.:08:28.

were nervous about the jive. I was. I love fast dances, but I kind of

:08:29.:08:33.

felt I was struggling with this one. I still had a great time. The scores

:08:34.:08:35.

are in: What do you think, voting couldn't

:08:36.:08:59.

be easier call from your mobile or land line or you can vote on the

:09:00.:09:01.

website. The beard and hair, that's

:09:02.:09:14.

distracting. Voting isn't open yet. Don't take long making your mind up.

:09:15.:09:18.

There are still five couples left to dance. Have you heard this lot? Back

:09:19.:09:21.

to you. For our next couple Natalie Gumede

:09:22.:09:30.

and her partner, Artem Chigvintsev. This week, Natalie suffered an

:09:31.:09:34.

injury to her back and had to stop training for two days. I'm glad to

:09:35.:09:39.

say, she's back on her feet, but has she recovered enough to dance the

:09:40.:09:44.

energetic quickstep? Here's exactly what happened.

:09:45.:09:49.

I was absolutely thrilled that our dance was so well received on

:09:50.:09:55.

Saturday. It felt fantastic. Fabulous. Love, love, love. To get

:09:56.:10:01.

the feed back from the audience and then from the judges, we were so

:10:02.:10:07.

blown away. Good job. Thank you. That Saturday night is the best

:10:08.:10:10.

feeling in the world. It's not something I want to end just yet.

:10:11.:10:18.

This week, we are dancing the quickstep. It's so quick. There's a

:10:19.:10:23.

lot that can go wrong. During training things took a turn for the

:10:24.:10:30.

worse. I started having really bad trouble with my back. The pain soon

:10:31.:10:35.

became unbearable and we had to go to the doctor. I was really scared.

:10:36.:10:43.

After lots of tests, they found a bulging disc in my spine. I don't

:10:44.:10:47.

want to let Artem down and I don't want to miss out on the most

:10:48.:10:52.

enjoyable experience I've ever had. I was terrified that I had to pull

:10:53.:10:58.

out of the competition. But I've been prescribed pain killers. I'm

:10:59.:11:01.

back dancing. The lack of rehearsal was a worry. I just hope my back

:11:02.:11:04.

holds out on the night. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:11:05.:12:57.

Well done indeed. What a great routine. There it is. That says it

:12:58.:13:08.

all. A great routine. Are you all right? Are you feeling OK? Thank

:13:09.:13:13.

you. You should be after that. It was a bit long winded getting

:13:14.:13:18.

started, if I'm honest. Once you got - well it was. What do you want me

:13:19.:13:22.

to say. Look behind you. I'm not worried about them. The part in hold

:13:23.:13:26.

I liked very much. I just thought it was too long before you got cracking

:13:27.:13:32.

and you stopped in hold too short. It was too long at the front and the

:13:33.:13:39.

back. The bit in hold I thought was great. I'm just telling them! Right,

:13:40.:13:47.

Bruno? I can't believe you delivered a dance of this standard in such a

:13:48.:13:53.

short time. I love the jazzy feel. It was like watching quickstep as

:13:54.:13:57.

the main attraction at the cotton club. I mean, it was just like being

:13:58.:14:02.

there with you. You capture the spirit of the dance so well. And

:14:03.:14:07.

some of the musical nuances, the jazzy turns, I thought it was

:14:08.:14:10.

wonderful. So did I.

:14:11.:14:17.

Just two days of training, I mean, Craig, what did you think? I agree,

:14:18.:14:21.

I loved the fusion of quickstep and jazz. I thought that was done

:14:22.:14:25.

immaculately well. There is no stopping you, darling. Stunning.

:14:26.:14:29.

And the whole dance was to the music.

:14:30.:14:33.

The boys are right, the style was just perfect. It was so nice. And so

:14:34.:14:38.

much dance content. But what you've been through this week, with missing

:14:39.:14:42.

out and having that problem, you could have afforded not to have so

:14:43.:14:46.

much, and I know it's hard, you could have cut some things and it

:14:47.:14:49.

would still have been fabulous. We want you to last, OK? You have to

:14:50.:14:54.

get through this show. So don't be too ambitious.

:14:55.:15:01.

Look at yourself. That means a lot. Off you go. It was great! What a

:15:02.:15:04.

routine. Come on my darling, another standing

:15:05.:15:20.

ovation and another show stopping routine from our Natalie. Like Craig

:15:21.:15:25.

said, there is no stopping you. You have had problems tonight. How did

:15:26.:15:29.

the back feel tonight? Wonderful. I was so happy to be here. I've had

:15:30.:15:33.

fantastic care from Strictly this week and I couldn't be more

:15:34.:15:37.

grateful. I'm so thrilled to be dancing with this man. I'm delighted

:15:38.:15:39.

that I'm part of this experience. You didn't look like you were

:15:40.:15:43.

feeling any pain. You looked like you were loving every moment. Pure

:15:44.:15:45.

musical theatre. The scores are in: Wonderful score! She's high as a

:15:46.:16:14.

kite, sheer adrenaline, nothing to do with medication. The number to

:16:15.:16:24.

call when voting opens later: or go online. Natalie and Artem may be

:16:25.:16:28.

riding high with the judges but they need your votes if they're to stay

:16:29.:16:31.

in the competition. Coming up, abbey and Aljaz are limb perking up for

:16:32.:16:37.

their -- limbering up for their fierce tango.

:16:38.:16:41.

Who's next? Only one man has the answer, Bruce.

:16:42.:16:46.

Next tonight is Patrick Robinson and his partner Anya Garnis.

:16:47.:16:55.

Last week, Craig and Len said Patrick had style and panache. Style

:16:56.:17:01.

and panache, I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

:17:02.:17:06.

Get out! Any way, here they are in training.

:17:07.:17:14.

The moment before you perform is quite nervewracking and then there's

:17:15.:17:21.

a freedom. It's a very difficult dance. I thought it had an ease

:17:22.:17:26.

Andrew elegance about it. You are style, you really are.

:17:27.:17:33.

It's great. You had it all. This week we're dancing the cha cha. It's

:17:34.:17:39.

been pretty tricky. Rehearsing Strictly and obviously working on

:17:40.:17:43.

Casualty takes its toll. I know he's working all the time. And he's

:17:44.:17:47.

trying to do this as well. I'll have my head full of lines instead of

:17:48.:17:51.

moves. I'm inviting Anya to the set and see me do my day job. I'm here

:17:52.:17:56.

on the set and I'm super excited to see Patrick in his element. It's

:17:57.:18:04.

been great having Anya here to see exactly what I do. How do you do it?

:18:05.:18:10.

When I'm just about to do the dance, it goes like this. He's wonderful,

:18:11.:18:15.

but he should point his feet more. Go on Patrick. Everyone enjoyed our

:18:16.:18:22.

doing the routine on set. Good luck tonight. Good luck. Good luck, meat.

:18:23.:18:28.

-- Mate. Hopefully I can do everyone on set proud. (

:18:29.:18:35.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Well done, the pair of you. That was

:18:36.:20:20.

great. You were right, you did say panache.

:20:21.:20:29.

I thought it was pan-acky. No need for mercy because you do a mean cha

:20:30.:20:34.

cha. I tell you, very sensual, very ridge makal. I -- rhymical. I loved

:20:35.:20:43.

the smacking. Your best dance yet. Good job.

:20:44.:20:51.

She teases you. Absolutely brilliant. Oh! Don't kiss him, it's

:20:52.:21:02.

been done. Is that all? That's enough. Darcey? Patrick, you are so

:21:03.:21:08.

confident out of hold, you just, it suits you. Just watch when you look

:21:09.:21:13.

at Anya, you look down at her. Just look down your nose at her. You have

:21:14.:21:17.

an inner groove and I'm loving it. Len? It's happy hour. You're happy.

:21:18.:21:30.

I'm happy. The audience is happy. I'm telling you what, you were

:21:31.:21:34.

steaming, I was beaming. That is your best dance! Off you go! That's

:21:35.:21:41.

wonderful. Well done, both of you. Best dance ever. She's unzipping

:21:42.:22:05.

him. Your best dance ever said Len and one word from Craig "brilliant"

:22:06.:22:11.

that's rare indeed. Fantastic. This is your favourite dance isn't it?

:22:12.:22:15.

It's the best one so far. He enjoyed that. We loved it up

:22:16.:22:19.

here. Of course, you were dancing with your cast this week, what do

:22:20.:22:23.

they make of it? They seemed to enjoy it. There was a big round of

:22:24.:22:29.

applause after it. I bet they loved the party tonight because you got it

:22:30.:22:31.

started. The scores are in: 33! Yes. Patrick and yawn are

:22:32.:23:01.

begging you for -- and Anya are begging you for mercy and your vote.

:23:02.:23:06.

Call to vote or you can vote online. If you have itchy voting fingers, we

:23:07.:23:12.

only have three couples left to dance vm

:23:13.:23:16.

Our next couple is Abbey Clancy and her partner, Aljaz Skorjanec.

:23:17.:23:24.

Abbey's turned out to be a really good sport, in order to prepare

:23:25.:23:30.

herself for the rigours of the tango, she took part in a muddy army

:23:31.:23:36.

assault course. Sounds more like Dirty Dancing to me. Any way, she

:23:37.:23:40.

really is a good sport. Well done, darling. Here they are in training.

:23:41.:23:47.

I'm feeling good after last week's show. I've had two fast dances now.

:23:48.:23:53.

They're not my favourite. I thought you lacked a bit of attack. She had

:23:54.:23:58.

attack. To be honest, I did completely agree with what Craig

:23:59.:24:01.

said. I've got to go for it even more. I'm definitely going to work

:24:02.:24:07.

on that this week. This week is tango. The routine will be quite

:24:08.:24:13.

fast. Oh, that kills. I need to help you get in your -- getting your

:24:14.:24:17.

physical strength and stamina. It kills my belly. Where are you taking

:24:18.:24:25.

many e? To -- Where are you taking me? To the assault course. We got

:24:26.:24:28.

comments last weekend, that you don't give enough attack. Your core

:24:29.:24:34.

needs to be more engaged. Give me "Yes, sir!" Sir, yes, sir. Foot

:24:35.:24:42.

work. What do you say? Sir, yes, sir. Come on! You need to get into

:24:43.:24:52.

the spirit of things. Come on. Use your core. Think of the tango,

:24:53.:24:58.

come on. I'm impressed with you. I'm pretty sure you're ready for

:24:59.:24:59.

Saturday. High five. I nearly forgot to come down, I was

:25:00.:26:57.

so enthralled. Well done. The assault course as well. Craig, what

:26:58.:27:01.

did you think? You used all the accents in the music to absolutely

:27:02.:27:06.

brilliant effect. Great use of the floor, I thought. Some fantastic,

:27:07.:27:13.

sharp, that catto moves. -- stacatto moves. It had intent and purpose. I

:27:14.:27:22.

thought it was a--maz-ing. It was beautiful. Quick looks and

:27:23.:27:26.

everything. Darcey? I was not expecting that from you. Your

:27:27.:27:29.

shaping especially and your top line. You played a sexy, cool tango.

:27:30.:27:35.

Very nicely done and very nice, clipped edges every time you change

:27:36.:27:39.

direction. Great strength throughout. Wonderful.

:27:40.:27:48.

Len? In ballroom, I'm telling you, you are a formidable couple. I'm

:27:49.:27:55.

telling you. That was full, snap, crackle, pop, full on, punchy,

:27:56.:28:00.

dynamic. I tell you what, that was terrific tango. Well done.

:28:01.:28:07.

Surprised us all. Bruno? Power, drama, passion, beauty, you had it

:28:08.:28:14.

all. And it was snappier than the crack of a whip. I thought I was

:28:15.:28:19.

getting whiplash just watching you. The two of you together, it takes

:28:20.:28:24.

two to tango, and the mixture and the chemistry between you two it

:28:25.:28:28.

really is wonderful to see. You really use each other beautifully,

:28:29.:28:32.

carry on, because I love it. I love watching you.

:28:33.:28:38.

You've done it. Go on, up the stairs.

:28:39.:28:47.

APPLAUSE Wow. Look at her face. She can't

:28:48.:28:55.

believe it. I think everyone is stepping it up a gear. That was

:28:56.:28:58.

incredible. How do you feel after that passionate performance? Great,

:28:59.:29:10.

yeah. Great, yeah. Craig said it was a-maz-img. -- ing. Did it help to

:29:11.:29:15.

get into character. Definitely. We worked on the core strength and it

:29:16.:29:19.

showed. Is boot camp part of your normal morning routine? Not usually!

:29:20.:29:25.

Mud wrestling with Aljaz. Must have been utter hell (! ) The scores are

:29:26.:29:29.

in: Three nines there, well done. Did

:29:30.:29:54.

that tango light your fire? If so, call from your mobile or a land

:29:55.:30:00.

line. Or can you go online when voting opens later in the show, if

:30:01.:30:04.

you want abbey and Aljaz to avoid the drama of the dance-off. It's

:30:05.:30:08.

hotting up in here. Are you ready for more?

:30:09.:30:12.

Our next couple is TV chef Dave Myers and his partner, Karen Hauer.

:30:13.:30:25.

When a character. Any way, Dave is dancing a waltz to a lovely song by

:30:26.:30:31.

The Eagles. I said to him, "Do you like The Eagles? He said, "Yes, but

:30:32.:30:37.

they do take a bit of cooking." It's the beak and all those wings. I was

:30:38.:30:48.

ecstatic with my performance on Saturday night. When I walked off

:30:49.:30:52.

that dance floor, to what I believe was one of the biggest standing

:30:53.:30:58.

ovations in Strictly history. We were glowing, until we saw Craig's

:30:59.:31:03.

face. It's like a bulldog eating pickles. The comments do deflate you

:31:04.:31:07.

somewhat. I'm working as hard as I can. I'm getting the steps right.

:31:08.:31:12.

I'm trying to get the performance into the dance. What more can I do?

:31:13.:31:18.

I never thought that hairy old me could immerse themselves in a world

:31:19.:31:22.

of sequins, fake tans. Your hair is just... Dave's loving his Strictly

:31:23.:31:28.

experience. I will do whatever it takes to get through. There's only

:31:29.:31:33.

one thing for it and that's Strictly vacation.

:31:34.:31:38.

Why am I here? We need the smoothness. Elegance. No part left

:31:39.:31:49.

unnoticed. Your feet to be strictlified. I wouldn't wish these

:31:50.:31:57.

trotters on anybody. I feel lick a flaming labrador. If this doesn't

:31:58.:31:59.

win the judges over, nothing will. CHEERING AND APPLAUSE

:32:00.:34:01.

A new Dave. Yes. Very Deb fair. Karen has taken me and buffed me to

:34:02.:34:06.

on livion. I hope it worked. We'll soon find out. Darcey? You started

:34:07.:34:11.

really well. It was, I'm loving the clean look, really perfect for the

:34:12.:34:17.

waltz. You do have lovely elegant, long limbs. You just have to use

:34:18.:34:21.

them. Soften those knees and travel. That's what I was missing. I know

:34:22.:34:26.

you've worked hard. One thing that would help this posture, for me, go

:34:27.:34:30.

and try a ballet class and see if we can get this posture right when

:34:31.:34:34.

you're in hold. That's the only thing letting you do you -- down.

:34:35.:34:40.

Not bad. I shall be on the rail. You have

:34:41.:34:47.

truly titivated yourself up a treat. I really think you have. On

:34:48.:34:51.

Strictly, the only failure is the failure to try. And what I love

:34:52.:34:57.

about you - you try your hardest every week. Yes, you do my darling,

:34:58.:35:08.

you scrub it very well, almost unrecognisable. There's a ray of

:35:09.:35:12.

hope on the horizon, because what you did, it was still very, very

:35:13.:35:16.

minimal, but it did look like a waltz and you tried hard to keep

:35:17.:35:20.

your posture and do the foot work. Of course, it didn't travel. It was

:35:21.:35:24.

stuck on the point. But it is better. That's the way to go. There

:35:25.:35:28.

is improvement. Exactly. Well, there you are. Now

:35:29.:35:35.

then, Craig? It was for me all very placed. You need to feel the music a

:35:36.:35:39.

lot more. You need to really listen to the music and try tone joy -- try

:35:40.:35:45.

to enjoy dancing with the music it. There was gapping going on. There

:35:46.:35:48.

needs to be more movement. But it's nice to see the serious Dave. I

:35:49.:35:52.

really enjoyed that. I'd say that was your personal best.

:35:53.:35:56.

Thanks Craig. That's lovely. You're still my favourite.

:35:57.:36:01.

Thank you Sir Bruce. Off you go. Well done indeed.

:36:02.:36:07.

Look at you! Not so Hairy Biker. No. I'm groomed. Is this hay change of

:36:08.:36:26.

image on -- is this a change of image on the cards? It might be. And

:36:27.:36:32.

you have lipstick on your cheek. As only a man like me should. Of

:36:33.:36:35.

course. You have worked really hard. You really want this, to be taken

:36:36.:36:39.

seriously. Oh, yes. I've always worked hard at the dancing. I think

:36:40.:36:43.

it would be a discredit to Karen the amount of effort and work she's put

:36:44.:36:47.

in with me to be sloppy with it. Are you proud of him? You're amazing. I

:36:48.:36:51.

love you, really. I think I love you too.

:36:52.:36:54.

The scores are in: Safe to say, very, very happy.

:36:55.:37:22.

That's your personal best score. That's lovely. Thank you very much

:37:23.:37:26.

and I do appreciate it. Thank you. I love him so much. That's what the

:37:27.:37:30.

judges thought. But your votes mean even more to Dave than mere judges'

:37:31.:37:35.

paddles. Yes, I think I do need them.

:37:36.:37:39.

Call from your mobile or a landline. Or you can vote online to keep Dave

:37:40.:37:48.

and Karen out of the dance-off. Just one couple left. Who is it?

:37:49.:37:54.

Well, I tell you who it is: Our final couple is Susanna Reid and her

:37:55.:38:05.

partner, Kevin from Grimsby. Now, Susanna has been rehearsing her

:38:06.:38:10.

dance steps in her sleep. I said, "But you're such a busy woman, when

:38:11.:38:15.

do you get time to sleep? She said, "When you're on." Aawww. Here they

:38:16.:38:27.

are aaawww in training. It felt lovely to dance the Viennese

:38:28.:38:31.

waltz. It was surprisingly emotional. I'm in love with that

:38:32.:38:38.

Viennese waltz. Every week you get better and better. Amazing. Through

:38:39.:38:43.

to another week on Strictly. I'm so glad. I enjoy it so, so much. This

:38:44.:38:51.

week, we are dancing the samba. It just feels like I've got something

:38:52.:38:54.

dislocated in my hip. There's a lot of opportunity to feel

:38:55.:38:57.

self-conscious. Don't think about it. Have a good time with it. My

:38:58.:39:01.

three boys are my biggest supporters. They do a mock judging

:39:02.:39:06.

panel at home with teddies. Ten! I was worried they might be

:39:07.:39:09.

embarrassed especially with the samba. I thought it would be great

:39:10.:39:14.

to get them in the training room and ask their advice. They were full of

:39:15.:39:18.

enthusiasm, hugely supportive and lots of great advice. I think maybe

:39:19.:39:23.

your steps could be a bit better. You need to give it a bit more

:39:24.:39:29.

oomph. I think that was brilliant. The foot work, the power, the

:39:30.:39:36.

energy, all of it, brilliant! Eight. Eight. 10! Seeing my boys and

:39:37.:39:40.

hearing their positive comments about the dancing that's really

:39:41.:39:43.

going to give me the boost to nail this one.

:39:44.:39:49.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE Well, what about that? What about it

:39:50.:41:40.

Susanna! That was wonderful. Your three little boys, oh, they're so

:41:41.:41:45.

lovely. The judging was great. I tell you what, Len? You should be

:41:46.:41:51.

ashamed of yourself, a nice girl like you, off the breakfast news

:41:52.:41:57.

coming out, all bounce, bum and bongos! This is before the water

:41:58.:42:02.

shed, you know. You can't come out flaunting your sl like that. Dear

:42:03.:42:06.

Lord. I nearly had a palpitation. Honestly. I thought you came out and

:42:07.:42:11.

gave it plenty of attack. A little bit messy here and there. But I tell

:42:12.:42:17.

you what, it was good. You've developed into a lovely

:42:18.:42:22.

little mover. Bruno? If you got it, flaunt it, darling. Don't worry.

:42:23.:42:28.

Sexy, saucy Susanna let her hair down. You were going for it like a

:42:29.:42:33.

fury, any time, anywhere, any place. If you can keep up with me. It was

:42:34.:42:39.

hard keeping up with you. You put so much energy into that dance. At

:42:40.:42:42.

times your finish was a little bit messy. So maintain that performance

:42:43.:42:47.

level, but don't lose the finish, because you usually have a very

:42:48.:42:52.

clean delivery. Tonight it was a bit muddy at the edges, but I loved the

:42:53.:42:56.

flow of it. Beautiful. How about Craig? I

:42:57.:43:03.

thought it was a bit muddy actually. I felt, at times, you were fighting

:43:04.:43:07.

one another and going against one another, which wasn't helping any of

:43:08.:43:11.

your rolls or anything like that together. I feel it lost impact. I

:43:12.:43:16.

feel like you're losing your neck at times as well. Also, I think you can

:43:17.:43:21.

go further. I know that sounds odd, but like the hip movements, for

:43:22.:43:25.

instance, at the top, you could have done a much broader hip movement up

:43:26.:43:32.

there and you know what, it's just OK. I want to see you go a lot

:43:33.:43:37.

further. It just feels like it's fitting in the middle ground at the

:43:38.:43:40.

moment. Let's see what Darcey thinks. I like

:43:41.:43:46.

the wild samba queen. You were going for it. It is true there was a

:43:47.:43:51.

couple of messy bits. On your running promenades you have to

:43:52.:43:55.

straighten the back leg and just the finishes. They're a little bit

:43:56.:44:00.

fuzzy. But I really enjoy your energy and you go for it, which is

:44:01.:44:02.

great. She does. She really does. You're

:44:03.:44:06.

marvellous. I can't wait to hear what your boys

:44:07.:44:07.

think. Off you go! APPLAUSE

:44:08.:44:25.

Another standing ovation, you wild samba queen, you! Save me! Was it

:44:26.:44:32.

nervewracking going out there and shaking your thing in front of

:44:33.:44:35.

millions? Yeah, it was for me, a bit, yeah. Yeah, but you know what,

:44:36.:44:42.

I said to my kids, are you going to worry about me doing that? They said

:44:43.:44:47.

you're only on Strictly once, don't waste it being embarrassed. I see

:44:48.:44:52.

you as a bit after I Wonder Woman. You have three beautiful boys and

:44:53.:44:56.

then going out there and doing that, how are you coping? Well, you just

:44:57.:45:00.

keep going. It's all great fun. I love being at home with the family

:45:01.:45:04.

and I love dancing. We love watching you dance with Kevin from grimesy.

:45:05.:45:09.

Now Kevin, not a lot of people might know this, but you have great

:45:10.:45:13.

ballroom pedigree. You come from a family of ballroom dancers. Your mum

:45:14.:45:18.

and dad former champions. Yes, my mum and dad former world champions.

:45:19.:45:22.

My sister is the best in the world at the moment. I'm the black sheep

:45:23.:45:26.

at the moment. He's my hero. I imagine they're proud of your

:45:27.:45:29.

performances. The scores are in:

:45:30.:45:46.

That's more like it, Len and Bruno. Great dance. Call to vote: Or you

:45:47.:46:06.

can vote online. That's it. All 13 couples have danced. Was it unlucky

:46:07.:46:10.

for some? Let's look at the leaderboard.

:46:11.:46:33.

You can change all of that by picking up the phone or going online

:46:34.:46:43.

and voting for your favourite. And voting is open!

:46:44.:46:59.

:47:00.:47:04.

out much. Still don't know who to vote for? Here's a reminder of

:47:05.:47:06.

tonight's performances. No time like the present. Voting

:47:07.:51:02.

closes at 8. 45pm. Didn't they all do well? They did. We'd love to keep

:51:03.:51:09.

all our celebrities but two of our couples will be in the dance-off.

:51:10.:51:13.

That means one of them will be going home. Every single one of your votes

:51:14.:51:16.

counts, which means if you don't want to see your favourites leave

:51:17.:51:19.

the competition, pick up the phone or go online and vote. Our couples

:51:20.:51:23.

will discover their dancing fate in the Results Show with Tess and

:51:24.:51:29.

Claudia tomorrow night at 7. 15pm. Be there. We'll have performances

:51:30.:51:33.

from Keane and the winner of The Voice Andrea Begley. Stay with BBC

:51:34.:51:40.

One now, for more action in Atlantis. Keep dancing!
