Week 4 Results Strictly Come Dancing

MUSIC: "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody"

Please welcome your hosts, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. They

certainly got the party started! They opened our results show with a

bang. Thank you to our incredible professional dancers. Wow! On

Saturday night, our 13 remaining couples kicked and flicked their way

across this dancefloor in a bid to impress the judges. 13 is unlucky

for some, or in this case, just one. Only 12 celebrities can continue in

the competition meaning one of our stars will be leaving us tonight.

That's right. After combining the judges' scores can your viewer

votes, the two bottom couples will do battle in the dance-off. Then the

final decision on who goes will rest with the judges. Please welcome,

Craig, Darcey, Len and Bruno. We have the winner of The Voice and

Keane. On top of that, the judges will be joining me later for Len's

Lens. Before rereveal our first couple in the dance-off, let's

remind ourselves of the highs and lows from Saturday night. Thank you,

everybody. The atmosphere is always electrifying. Anything can happen.

Everybody was good this week. It is so hard to call. I don't want to

come off going, "Yeah, we did alright." I will dance my legs off.

Every part of my body will be danced off! I can't wait. I'm excited and

nervous. I'm up first. It's show time. I'm scared. Evening. Don't

touch this! I'm going to have the best time. It's a shame that one of

us will have to get the early cab home. I hope it's not me. It might

be. That's called Strictly magic. Counting to air. The last time I was

this excited was when me mum put me in long trousers. Excited and

terrified. Five, four, three, two, one, zero. We are live. You have

style and grace all the way through. Beautiful. You really looked like a

Hollywood star. Nine! That was a lovely feeling. There were a few

little issues. I don't want to start off on the wrong foot. The hip

action was very, very stiff and plonky. I thought you were

magnificent! It was all very flat-footed and stompy. I disagree.

That was brilliant! A little too safe and placed. It needed a bit

more gusto. Thank you. I like your attitude. You come out and attacked

the defence. It needed more control. There was no rotation at all in the

hip department. It felt like you were being flung

about and that made you lose your balance. Then there were a series of

mistakes. You just about got away with it! I want to go back out! You

have the guns. Tonight, you have the ammunition. That was terrific.

Darling, it is ticking every box. I loved it!

It had plenty of fizz. You have to buck your feet up. I missed your

confident self. You gave it the welly that I wanted you to give it.

The part in hold I liked very much. I thought it was too long before you

got cracking. You captured the spirit of the dance so well. Nine.

It was a mean cha cha. Brilliant. You were steaming, I was beaming.

That is your best dance! I thought it was a-ma-a-zing! That

was full of snack, crack and pop! Nine! Good stuff. It is better. It

is an improvement. Thank you. You try your hardest every dance. I'm

not the greatest dancer, but Karen brings out the best in me. Plus we

have a good time. All bounce, bum and bongo! I thought it was a bit

muddy. Don't get me started. I think Abbey

and Aljaz just edged it for more. Mark, I will call him Marvellous

Mark. Give us a break. Scratching about down the bottom a bit, we have

Dave, Fiona, Deborah Meaden. Tonight was fabulous. End of story. 13 stars

have danced. Who has made the cut and who could face the chop? The

results are in. In no particular order, the first couple safely

through to next week is Mark and Iveta. Also back are Natalie and

Artem. Surviving here again next week are

Deborah and Robin. Back to dance again next Saturday

are Ashley and Ola. The first couple who must fight for

survival in the dance-off is Rachel and Pasha. Please come and join me

and the rest will find out if you are safe later on. Rachel and Pasha

are the first couple in the dance-off. Bruno, you said Rachel

just about got away with the quickstep. What does she need to do

to improve? Your dance last night had a very high level of difficulty

and content. You went for it with some of the most difficult steps you

could have put in and at incredible speed. Some of it was a little bit

messy. What you have to do is relax, try to enjoy it, be a bit stronger,

but don't panic. The actual content of your dance was very, very good.

So work on that and feel secure about what you can do. Thank you.

Rachel, you must be surprised to find yourself in the dance-off? I'm

really good I have the opportunity to do it again. Last night I was

disappointed and I felt like I had let Pasha down. I have another

chance to enjoy the quickstep. I don't think you let him down. He is

shaking his head. Best of luck with that quickstep. We will see you

later. Claudia? Thank you, Tess. You are all so

happy. Your little face when Tess said your name and you stuck your

tongue out. I need to stop doing that! Your tango was amazing. Thank

extraordinary creature. You have to know that. How happy are you? It was

great fun. We have had such a good week. It was so nice that it went so

well. You had such a bad week, Natalie. You have only trained for

eight minutes. Are you so happy? I'm so relieved to be doing our next

dance together and I'm grateful for the support I have had from

Beautiful. Now, it is time to welcome our awesome foursome, the

judges! Thank you very much. This is the part where we are joined by

somebody else. It would be ridiculous to think we could do this

alone. Absolutely! Let's get joined, if you like, with Len's Lens. Len's

Lens! Very nice. This is where we look at the details that you haven't

been able to mention on the Saturday night. First up, Len, the minute

Mark finished, you said, "I'd like to see that all again." This is for

you. Have a look. Lovely. LAUGHTER

I saw you smile there, what is not to love? I'm smiling because of what

was that? He looked like a huge golden carp gasping for air. I love

carp. Let me talk to you about Patrick. You gave him a nine. The

others gave him an eight. Talk me through how beautiful it was. Here

we go. The cha cha cha is a difficult dance. You have to be

sharp, you have to be crisp, you have to be precise. But you have

also got to show rhythm and I thought he pulled that off. His

footwork was clean. What was not to like? Quite. You were very impressed

by Ben's lifts. I couldn't believe it. Here is a reminder. We have two

of them here. Look at him. Not just this. How hard... She has great

trusts. It is the timing to get... Look at that! It is his thighs. He

is using his thighs and not the back. It is coming from the legs.

OK. Amazing. Craig, I have two words - cane work. You didn't make a fuss.

Look at Natalie. She is using a cane. Look at this. Then she lets go

of it. And catches it! That takes practice. Any use of props is always

going to be dangerous because there is an element of failure, obviously,

in there. You can be hit by another thing, or a cane can do a bounce and

it bounces off. Props are most unpredictable. Can I have a

conversation, please, about Ashley's arms? You thought they were

beautiful. You thought they were stiff. He is in a bad mood! I'm not.

I believe they are a bit stiff. He doesn't go through the whole

movement. Let's have a look before we have an arm-off! Here he is.

Stiff! No! I'm sorry. Look, it flows beautifully. His thumbs are sticking

out like that. Listen, you and your thumbs. I don't think they are

stiff. I like his thumbs. The thumb gives the hand shape. He doesn't do

that. He does THIS! You have thumbosis! They are stiff at the

side and he softens them as they cross the front. You are both right.

You have to do a line before you go into the next one. It is called

musical phrasing. Alright. OK. Last point - wouldn't you say so much to

do with dance and posture, it is to do with balance? Yes. Final clip of

the night then. There we go. I love Bruce picking up

What more can they do this time? Just really focus and listen to that

music. Control the moves. Most of all, what you always do is enjoy it

again, please. You have been here twice before. What is going through

your mind? It's a surreal experience. I'm slightly prepared. I

have been here twice before. It is a case of third time lucky or unlucky.

Whatever the case might be, I've had an amazing time and it's all I can

do to keep dancing! That is what it is all about. We will see you in the

I'm at the bottom of the leaderboard. I thought I was going

turned a corner now. I was finding myself for the first few weeks. It

is my style of throwing people around. Kristina has bruises

loved last night. It is a lovely thing to do. It is hard to be happy

when our Strictly friends are in the dance-off. We all feel miserable

Two for all the headlines. Breaking news: The Strictly Come Dancing

Glitterball Trophy has been stolen. Reports suggest it was taken from a

secure location late last night. Here is what some of the show's

biggest stars had to say about the matter. I'm devastated. Can't

believe it's gone. Everybody is trying to work out who would do such

a thing. Still no news on the stolen Glitterball. The police are

investigating a potential sighting involving a blond female.

We know where you live! It Takes Two is on every week night. Don't miss

it. Rachel and Pasha, Julien and Janette, you must be sad about the

dance-off or delighted to dance again? I am quite nervous. I love

the quickstep and I love, love Pasha's choreography and the idea of

it. I want to do it justice. Are you going to do it differently? She's

got it. We need to go out there and do it. Alright. Enormous luck.

APPLAUSE Julien and Janette, this is the

third time. There must be a part of you that goes alright, bring it? Or

are you livid? It is a really funny place to be. I feel like I have been

here before - and I have! It's a case of third time lucky, or

unlucky. I really feel it for everybody in the competition.

Everybody works so hard. Nobody deserves to go home. We are just

going to dance and do our best and just hope everybody loves us,

especially the judges. Let's hear it for Julien and Janette. Somebody

must leave tonight. Dancing to stay in the competition, please show your

support for Rachel and Pasha. Rachel and Pasha have had their

chance to impress the judges. Now, fighting for their place on Strictly

Come Dancing, please give it up for Janette and Julien.

Yes, they gave it their all. Well done to both of you. Well done. We

will now find out which of you will be back to dance again next week.

Judges, it is time to decide. We are about to ask each of you the name of

the couple that you think deserves to be saved. The couple with the

most votes will stay in the competition, meaning the other

couple is out of Strictly Come Dancing. In a tie, Len will have the

casting vote. Rachel and Pasha and Julien and Janette this is it.

Craig, wo would you like to save? Couple I would like to save, the

couple that danced I thought simply the best on the night. And that

couple is Rachel and Pasha. Well done. That is one vote for you. Who

deserves to stay in Strictly Come Dancing? Well, both performances

were 100 times better. For me, it goes down to the difficulty of the

dance and the couple I would like to save because of that would be Rachel

and Pasha. That's two votes for you. That means if Bruno now decides to

vote for you, you are indeed safe. Bruno, who would you like to stay? I

have to go for content, skill and storytelling. My favourite dance was

from Rachel and Pasha. I have to save them. That means we will have

to say goodbye to Julien and Janette. How would you have voted

Len? I would have voted the same as my colleagues, Rachel and Pasha.

Thank you very much. Julien, come here, my darling. Come on, Janette.

My love. You know, you have sparkled on Strictly and we will be gutting

to see you both go. We will be sad to go. I would like to thank

amazing time. This has been THE best experience of my life. I have left

on a high and I hope I have spiced everybody's night up! Oh yes. You

Anything you would like to say? I don't think I have met anyone that

has put in more hours to try and make it happen. He really did

improve. He really did put in the hours. As my first partner on

Strictly, I'm so happy I had you. Thank you. A big thanks to the

fabulous Janette! You two are amazing. Off you go and prepare for
