Hello, and welcome to Wednesday's It Takes Two. Tonight I'm spoiling you

:00:09.:00:13.

with three delightful couples on the sofa. Our super-smooth storyteller

:00:14.:00:18.

Mark is here with partner Iveta. Fresh from playing snakes and

:00:19.:00:21.

ladders with Len, Fiona and Anton are here. He's just about recovered

:00:22.:00:26.

from Saturday night's love in with Craig - Ben and his partner Kristina

:00:27.:00:30.

are here. And how about a Wednesday warm up to get us all in the mood.

:00:31.:00:40.

Ian Waite's back. I feel all warm inside This is Strictly It Takes

:00:41.:00:41.

Two. . Live from London, this is Strictly

:00:42.:01:29.

Come Dancing: It Takes Two. Please welcome your host, Zoe Ball.

:01:30.:01:37.

Hiya. Hiya! Tonight, welcome to It Takes Two with 13 couples left in

:01:38.:01:41.

the competition. Saturday will prove unlucky as one pair has to go.

:01:42.:01:46.

Hopefully not our next couple, Fiona and Anton. I'll be talking to them

:01:47.:01:50.

in a moment, but first, here's a quick recap of Saturday's waltz -

:01:51.:01:54.

two, three, one, two, three. You're playing snakes and ladders. Last

:01:55.:01:58.

night you went down the snake, but this week back up the ladder - oh,

:01:59.:02:04.

yes. Oh, Fiona, you have turned into Grace Kelly. You've danced with ease

:02:05.:02:10.

and elegance. At times I can still see you slightly losing focus. Don't

:02:11.:02:13.

do that because you've got it within you. I thought the whole thing was

:02:14.:02:18.

extremely elegant and beautifully danced

:02:19.:02:19.

APPLAUSE 7! 7. 7! 28! 28! It was a very

:02:20.:02:29.

loving dance. I just wish I could have looked at you a little bit more

:02:30.:02:33.

often, but in the waltz, it's not like that. It was my pleasure to

:02:34.:02:38.

dance with you. I had the best birthday ever. What a classy

:02:39.:02:44.

pairing. Please welcome strictly's very own Grace Kelly and Bing

:02:45.:02:48.

Crosby, Fiona and Anton. I don't know what you're laughing at. It's

:02:49.:02:51.

true. What a tender and stunning moment on Saturday, and Fiona, quite

:02:52.:02:55.

rightfully, you were compared to Grace Kelly. That must have felt

:02:56.:03:00.

quite nice for you. Yes, it's an enormous complement. I felt more

:03:01.:03:04.

like Matthew Kelly, but you know! A very big complement for Matthew

:03:05.:03:08.

Kelly as well. He'll be thrilled. The exciting thing is you were very

:03:09.:03:13.

excited to dance with the King of waltz himself. Love there show!

:03:14.:03:18.

Anton. I know. We're going to give you a official title and a crown. He

:03:19.:03:22.

needs a crown. Like a Lord's Mayor's necklace and the rest of it, but

:03:23.:03:27.

when you're out there on the dancefloor of all the weeks you have

:03:28.:03:30.

danced with her, did this feel particularly special? This was a

:03:31.:03:34.

super week for me because it was a lovely dance. It was a lovely song.

:03:35.:03:40.

Lance Elliot was singing it, who sings just beautifully, and we

:03:41.:03:43.

danced it so nicely together. She looked beautiful that dress. That

:03:44.:03:48.

was such a fabulous dress. It was. The whole things with just a great

:03:49.:03:51.

moment, a minute-and-a-half of joy for me, so thank you. Well done. You

:03:52.:03:56.

were amazing. Yes, well done! And also, all the hiccups from the week

:03:57.:04:03.

before went. You kept it perfectly on the floor. You were able to keep

:04:04.:04:07.

focus out there this week. Well done. Yes, I don't know how! Get in

:04:08.:04:12.

the zone! In the zone! I think you just get used to it. It's so

:04:13.:04:16.

nerve-racking but hopefully it gets easier. Is it getting a little bit

:04:17.:04:21.

easier? No, don't say that Len was talking about a game of Snakes and

:04:22.:04:25.

Ladders. How are you going to keep going up the rungs of the ladder and

:04:26.:04:31.

not slide on the slippery snakes? The most difficult thing about this

:04:32.:04:34.

show is doing it on Saturday night - it sounds an obvious thing to say

:04:35.:04:39.

but until you have had a go, until you have walked out there on

:04:40.:04:42.

Saturday night and tried it, it's unknown territory. It's so

:04:43.:04:44.

difficult. Just doing that more often, and we have been lucky enough

:04:45.:04:48.

to do it three times so far - three times... That's right.

:04:49.:04:51.

LAUGHTER How many dances? So the more we do,

:04:52.:04:55.

hopefully, the better it becomes, more familiar with the Saturday

:04:56.:04:58.

night, but it's so nerve-racking. It's difficult. It is. I just dance

:04:59.:05:03.

too quickly. It's like when you're acting, and you're nervous you,

:05:04.:05:06.

speak too quickly. Apparently I am doing the same thing I dance really,

:05:07.:05:10.

really quickly. It will be perfect for quick-step. You can imagine

:05:11.:05:13.

you'll fire around. Craig was talking about how delightful it was

:05:14.:05:16.

for Anton to have a partner who can show off his dancing skills as well.

:05:17.:05:21.

Ah, you see. Because you're so good. See how generous I am, Zoe? You are.

:05:22.:05:27.

I let him have the stage. Thank you. And he twirls around me - finally

:05:28.:05:32.

has his moment. I am just thrilled - you can come along and be brilliant.

:05:33.:05:37.

We think we know the seek Rhett to your pairing now. The two towers

:05:38.:05:41.

have been watching you. Look. Interesting. The thing about

:05:42.:05:45.

training is you have to have regular breaks, and I'm a huge tea drinker.

:05:46.:05:51.

I love my tea. Fancy a cup of tea. Do you mind? Not at all. Let's go.

:05:52.:05:57.

Tea for two, and two for tea. Shall we have some tea? I'm going to have

:05:58.:06:02.

a cup of tea. I'll put the kettle on. Is it time for a tea break?

:06:03.:06:07.

She's popped out to have a cup of tea. I hope that's what everybody

:06:08.:06:11.

else is doing, not just me. Earle Grey for moi. I might just have a

:06:12.:06:17.

couple of tea. I like to let it brew for a long time. Run out of builders

:06:18.:06:26.

- I'll bring some tomorrow. And I'm happy. They have tea at the Vic Raj

:06:27.:06:31.

- this is Strictly Come Dancing! It's working. If we have Jonathan

:06:32.:06:40.

coming in with Earle Grey for Fiona. Oh, wonderful. Look at that! He put

:06:41.:06:46.

an F on it for fabulous! Rumba this week, you've got to follow Ben.

:06:47.:06:51.

You've got to follow Natalie. How good is your rumba shaping up to be?

:06:52.:06:57.

A complete disaster. Don't say that! Really? It's tremendous. Look at

:06:58.:07:01.

that. I've never had so many bruises in my whole life. I don't know what

:07:02.:07:06.

I've done to offend him, but he's throwing me across the floor. It's

:07:07.:07:12.

all in the name of love. The throws are great, but I just can't... Go

:07:13.:07:16.

on. Go on! You missed it. Have faith. It will be gorgeous. What's a

:07:17.:07:24.

bruise between friends? Yeah! Foxy Fullerton and Delish bu beck. Thank

:07:25.:07:30.

you. Stick around. I'll get some cake. It's time to look ahead at the

:07:31.:07:35.

dance-off we can expect on Saturday. He's here. It's went. It's his

:07:36.:07:44.

warm-up time. It's Ian Waite. -- it's Wednesday.

:07:45.:07:51.

Will you look who is here? It's Ian Waite.

:07:52.:07:53.

APPLAUSE Just slipped in the back entrance.

:07:54.:07:57.

Just slipped in! Welcoming as the winter nights draw in. It's lovely

:07:58.:08:00.

to have you here. Four nights into the competition, are the celebrities

:08:01.:08:04.

and our professionals stepping it up a gear for the weekend? I watched on

:08:05.:08:07.

Saturday night with my dog once again, and I had a great time. I

:08:08.:08:11.

thought that all the couples had stepped it up a gear, and to be

:08:12.:08:16.

honest, yeah, it's looking very good. It is. The standard is looking

:08:17.:08:19.

good. It is. We're going to talk about the Latin this week. We're

:08:20.:08:24.

talking about sussauna and Kevin, when England won. The whole nation

:08:25.:08:28.

went into a giant samba, so exciting. Does she have good double

:08:29.:08:34.

bounce action? A great dance last week, two 9s. This is a really good

:08:35.:08:38.

dance. There is lots of content in here, so basically, lots of things

:08:39.:08:42.

could go wrong. What I have done is stopped it here because what I

:08:43.:08:45.

wanted to show you is the leg. Going into this promenade run, she needs

:08:46.:08:48.

to stretch the leg out at the back and bend the knee at the front. A

:08:49.:08:57.

bit like Kevin. Like Kevin there. One, two, three. And stretching that

:08:58.:09:01.

back leg as much as possible and bending into the front knee, so get

:09:02.:09:05.

your weight off the back toe... . Can you help me up again? I think I

:09:06.:09:11.

might be stuck. Sorry about that. Julien and Janet two, weeks, in the

:09:12.:09:18.

bottom two, give him a break. It he's try so hard. He's work so hard.

:09:19.:09:23.

I really would love it if he made it. And the salsa this week? Tell

:09:24.:09:28.

you what, it's one of the most difficult dances, salsa. I think

:09:29.:09:31.

that could expose some problems. The thing is - I would like him to work

:09:32.:09:35.

on is around the middle. He needs to loosen up that middle. Remember,

:09:36.:09:41.

salsa is all about rhythm. Rhythm, hips... He needs a good rhythm. I

:09:42.:09:47.

think he can do that Patrick andanya are doing the chau, chau, chau. You

:09:48.:09:55.

have always said you liked his chau-chau-chau? Yes. Once he gets

:09:56.:10:01.

into it, he's a good little mover. He's moving very fast. The only

:10:02.:10:05.

critique I can say at the moment with his dance is this - we never

:10:06.:10:13.

really want to see this... No! We never really want to see flat feet.

:10:14.:10:20.

Where should they be? He puts his feet down. You have to use your heel

:10:21.:10:29.

on every step. They're everywhere in the cha-chacha. Deborah, very good

:10:30.:10:34.

Saturday night, a jive. How were her flicks and kicks? Not that great. To

:10:35.:10:39.

be honest, Debra, to me, she has a certain amount of natural ability,

:10:40.:10:43.

and she's quite musical, but what she doesn't do in this jive is she's

:10:44.:10:47.

not using the balls of her feet, and she hasn't got that a-one-a-two,

:10:48.:10:54.

a-one-a-two, that accent in the music. I like it. Which keeps it

:10:55.:10:57.

light and bouncy. Never stop doing that. I love it. Ben and Kristina,

:10:58.:11:03.

an excellent rumba from big g Ben at the weekend - so, so good. Hold on.

:11:04.:11:09.

It's Fiona and Anton. Can we go back to them? Their rumba - she's being a

:11:10.:11:14.

very obedient student. I don't know what she's talking about saying

:11:15.:11:16.

she's not elegant. I think she's very elegant. She has a good sense

:11:17.:11:20.

of posture. She just has to believe in herself. What I would say, Fiona,

:11:21.:11:25.

is you just need to move your feet on to the left foot a little bit

:11:26.:11:33.

quicker, use the toe, then you'll have a strong dance. Got that?

:11:34.:11:39.

Excellent rumba from Ben at the weekend. How is his salsa? He's had

:11:40.:11:48.

a lot of difficult dances in the last week, and didn't they do well?

:11:49.:11:50.

APPLAUSE Good boy. I have stopped it here

:11:51.:11:53.

because this is where he's at his best. He's supporting Kristina

:11:54.:12:00.

because he's a big guy. He needs to move light across the ballroom.

:12:01.:12:04.

That's the difficulty for Kristina. She's got to make sure he can do

:12:05.:12:07.

that but what I would say again, a little bit like Julien, he needs to

:12:08.:12:12.

make sure he's got lots of body rhythm. Through it... And he's not

:12:13.:12:16.

too static in the body. Do not try that move at home, OK, unless you're

:12:17.:12:26.

Kristina. Mark and Evetta, for them a cha-cha-cha. How is he looking?

:12:27.:12:31.

You know what he's great - he's great in these gesticulations and

:12:32.:12:35.

the acting side of him comes out. It's fantastic. Hello! I would like

:12:36.:12:40.

him to concentrate a little bit more on the steps - hello! And make sure

:12:41.:12:47.

he works on those Cha-cha moves. An amazing outfit and I bet you can't

:12:48.:12:52.

do that, Ian Waite. I bet I can. Look at that! Great. He's pulled

:12:53.:12:59.

something! Now - out of my way. So a great night on Saturday for Craig,

:13:00.:13:03.

at least, who got a smack on the lips from a certain rugby hung. Here

:13:04.:13:06.

is a reminder of their dance. It's nice to see a big, butch bloke

:13:07.:13:16.

being gentle. That was a really touchy feeling kind of blow, hands

:13:17.:13:20.

everywhere. Whichever way you're going, keep going because you're

:13:21.:13:24.

doing well. I am willing you to do well and dance well. And you know

:13:25.:13:28.

what? You did. APPLAUSE

:13:29.:13:39.

7. 7. 7. It's a 7 fest! 7. 7. Yeah! Finally. Yes, finally, a standing

:13:40.:13:44.

ovation. Thank you so much. Oh, I am so proud of you. Everybody gets a

:13:45.:13:49.

kiss next week. I was so excited. It was a real buzz. I know.

:13:50.:13:54.

Please welcome Ben and Kristina. APPLAUSE

:13:55.:13:59.

It's so exciting, even watching it back. Congratulations, a personal

:14:00.:14:04.

best, 28. Well done, Ben. A standing ovation. When you were dancing that

:14:05.:14:07.

out on the floor, did you think to yourself, hang on a minute, this is

:14:08.:14:11.

quite good? Yeah, I thought they were clapping at somebody else at

:14:12.:14:16.

first - who is on stage? A flasher or something! No, it was all for

:14:17.:14:19.

you. Tell you what. They love you out there, the nation. Linda from

:14:20.:14:22.

Merseyside says, "It's the surprise of the night, fabulous." How lovely.

:14:23.:14:28.

How proud were you, Kristina? I can't describe how proud I am of him

:14:29.:14:32.

because it has been such a difficult week. We worked so hard, and it

:14:33.:14:37.

takes a lot for this big guy to be gentle and show his soft side. He

:14:38.:14:40.

did. It was absolutely wonderful. It was really moving. It was! Good. At

:14:41.:14:46.

the same time as being quite saucy. You planted one on Craig. What have

:14:47.:14:51.

you started? I think he liked it a bit too much. What happened there?

:14:52.:14:55.

Very spontaneous. I was just so excited. I thought, yeah, I got a

:14:56.:15:00.

positive comment, great. I thought something horrible was going to come

:15:01.:15:04.

out, as always, but they were such great words from him. Well done. In

:15:05.:15:08.

the weeks before that, I'd taken a little bit of criticism about my

:15:09.:15:13.

frame, the bottom - yeah, just encouragement and positive comments

:15:14.:15:16.

- really was like, yes, great. We've worked so hard, and to get 7s across

:15:17.:15:20.

the board was an amazing night. It's progress. It's... . It's good. It's

:15:21.:15:24.

all in the right direction, definitely. And the rumba can be

:15:25.:15:29.

such a tricky dance. Men can go out there and look quite awkward doing

:15:30.:15:32.

it. Why do you think it suited him so much? He did it so well. You know

:15:33.:15:37.

what? I also thought a lot about the choreography because it has to be

:15:38.:15:40.

good on him. It has to look good, what he's doing on the floor, and I

:15:41.:15:44.

just tried so hard to showcase what he can do, and he was partnering me

:15:45.:15:49.

and leading me from one sort of trick to another and doing his

:15:50.:15:52.

footwork. I am really proud of him. He really worked hard. I know. And

:15:53.:15:56.

we have been watching him closely in the training room, and I think that

:15:57.:16:02.

Sergeant Major Rihanoff may have something to do with him doing so

:16:03.:16:07.

well. Oh! We get you every week. Take it away. I am here. I am still

:16:08.:16:12.

here. You're looking at the door. Hands, frame, elbows. He's finding

:16:13.:16:17.

it physically hard. What are you doing? Crying or something? I am

:16:18.:16:22.

putting him through a boot camp, my own ballroom one. Up on my feet.

:16:23.:16:27.

Thank you. I do one good thing, and I'm like, yes! I have done it. Then

:16:28.:16:31.

I think, oh, no. I have messed up the next bit, then I get this look.

:16:32.:16:36.

Don't stand there! And I'm thinking, oh, no. Shall I go sit on the

:16:37.:16:40.

naughty step? LAUGHTER

:16:41.:16:42.

I can't believe she puts you on the naughty step. So this week, as I...

:16:43.:16:50.

I had to face the wall outside. Until you could come back. With the

:16:51.:16:55.

Saulsa, I am imagining there is quite a lot - how is that going,

:16:56.:16:59.

Ben? Actually, it's a challenging routine. We have a few lifts in this

:17:00.:17:06.

one. She hasn't been able to have a lift before. I am excited he can do

:17:07.:17:11.

lots of great lifts so, yeah, I went for it, and it's a bit crazy. You

:17:12.:17:15.

look like you're actually scaring yourself here - like, what have I

:17:16.:17:19.

done? I think so. You're going to be flying around. The foundations of

:17:20.:17:23.

the rumba, are they going to help particularly with the salsa or is it

:17:24.:17:27.

a whole new set of rules? I think so, definitely, it can help. Here we

:17:28.:17:32.

are - me upside down, yes. Wow! It will be a surprise on Saturday.

:17:33.:17:35.

Don't look! You know what? I think he kind of liked this dance because

:17:36.:17:41.

it's very cheeky. It's fun. He can actually relax and have a bit of an

:17:42.:17:45.

acting beat as well. I think you're enjoying it. Yes, I am trying to

:17:46.:17:49.

pull down the barriers a little bit more and trying to get braver and

:17:50.:17:54.

braver. Go! In the routine this week, so my aim is to go out and

:17:55.:17:58.

have fun. You are definitely letting go, which is great stuff, especially

:17:59.:18:02.

at this point. And you've got a 19, 25, 28 - all in the right direction.

:18:03.:18:08.

Fingers crossed it will be in the right direction this week too. I

:18:09.:18:11.

think it could be. Ben and Kristina, good luck this weekend!

:18:12.:18:13.

APPLAUSE Time now to check out Saturday's

:18:14.:18:18.

ballroom dancers in our second helping, a big double wallop of

:18:19.:18:22.

Wait's Wednesday Warm-up. Oh, two helpings is what we need.

:18:23.:18:33.

Ian Waite is back. APPLAUSE

:18:34.:18:37.

I only have one. OK! Now, let's talk about the ballroom this weekend.

:18:38.:18:43.

First of all, did you enjoy Dave and Karen's paso doble Saturday? I

:18:44.:18:46.

absolutely loved it. Can I first of all apologise for saying it was

:18:47.:18:49.

going to look like John Sergeant. He was much better than that, wasn't

:18:50.:18:54.

he? He was much better. They'll be so pleased. Much better than

:18:55.:18:58.

expected. This week another ballroom dance. He's doing, of course, the

:18:59.:19:03.

waltz. How is it going? For me, he looks a little bit stiff and tilted

:19:04.:19:06.

in this dance. He needs to drive more on those ones to create the

:19:07.:19:12.

musicality of waltz. When we used to dance together, Zoe... . I used to

:19:13.:19:16.

sing sometimes the rhythm. Drove me crazy.

:19:17.:19:19.

# One, two, three # One, two, three #

:19:20.:19:22.

One, two, three # One, two, three #

:19:23.:19:27.

Bye, darling. See you next week. It works though, it did work. It works.

:19:28.:19:31.

It's getting that into the brain. What you do is transfer the weight

:19:32.:19:37.

quickly on the one, then drag it out on two, three. Rachel and Pasha

:19:38.:19:40.

Kovalev are doing the quick step this week. How is she doing? I have

:19:41.:19:45.

been hard on her feet and legs, but this is a really difficult dance

:19:46.:19:50.

this week. It's a lot of content Pasha has given her, so she's

:19:51.:19:54.

struggling to keep up with him at the moment. You could get a

:19:55.:19:57.

watermelon in between them there! But what I want to show you is you

:19:58.:20:02.

could probably, actually - if you balance towards each other, you can

:20:03.:20:05.

probably stay in contact for longer, even on the pivots. You know when

:20:06.:20:09.

they pivot around it - bend your knees. Dance your body weight

:20:10.:20:13.

towards you. I am dancing my body weight towards you. This is a

:20:14.:20:18.

nightmare. Bounce from one to the other. This is lovely. I can do this

:20:19.:20:22.

all night. We're connected. We're balanced towards each other. Let's

:20:23.:20:27.

talk about Sophie and Brendan. Let's stays scrie here! No, let's not. You

:20:28.:20:31.

have always said she has really good footwork. How are her foxtrot feet?

:20:32.:20:35.

I think this is another great dance for her. I think this will suit her.

:20:36.:20:38.

She's definitely trying to do that with her feet, if I can show you

:20:39.:20:42.

here - I have slowed it down, and she's almost doing the right action

:20:43.:20:45.

with the feet. It's a really difficult one. She's doing a reverse

:20:46.:20:51.

wave there. On a reverse wave, you sort of go through the tail onto the

:20:52.:20:56.

heel, so you go through the toe on to the heel. Off he goes again. I

:20:57.:21:01.

need him on a giant bungy. She goes through the toe and doesn't go to

:21:02.:21:06.

the heel. Only Wednesday, she'll get. By Saturday, hopefully it will

:21:07.:21:14.

be as good as her waltz. Yes, go on! Ashley is doing the Viennese waltz.

:21:15.:21:19.

How is he looking? Karen was mentioning the head and the problems

:21:20.:21:24.

he had with his head. He has a lovely long neck. It's perfect for

:21:25.:21:29.

ballroom dancing. I think they have been working on it. Look at this

:21:30.:21:32.

position here. I am going to zoom in so you can see it better. Look. The

:21:33.:21:36.

tricks of the trade - look at his head. Look where he's looking. One

:21:37.:21:42.

is out. He's got this lovely shape. He's creating this lovely shape in

:21:43.:21:45.

the vase, and he's looking out there, so it's fantastic. He's got a

:21:46.:21:47.

great position there. He's obviously working on it. Top marks. Come on!

:21:48.:21:55.

Taylor. Abbey Clancy and Aliona Vilani are doing a - staccato,

:21:56.:22:05.

drama. How is she doing? For me she's a bit loose in the frame.

:22:06.:22:10.

She's good at willowy dances like Watts waltz and that it suits her

:22:11.:22:14.

because she's soft and long and lean, but for this dance she needs

:22:15.:22:18.

to create a good frame. Tango has to be strong, has to have the

:22:19.:22:21.

character. That's the only thing. It does move around in that frame a

:22:22.:22:25.

little bit too much for me. By Saturday she'll have it perfectly.

:22:26.:22:30.

Artem Chigvintsev and Natalie are doing a quick step. She's do good,

:22:31.:22:36.

can do no wrong. How is she doing? She can do no wrong, loads of

:22:37.:22:44.

content in here, very fast, flicking steps like these Charleston steps. I

:22:45.:22:50.

wanted to show you - look, the body is in the same alignment. She's

:22:51.:22:55.

flicking her legs up the same as Artem. They're matching.

:22:56.:22:59.

Gold stars! I think it's going to be a great weekend. Thank you. As

:23:00.:23:06.

always, here's Mr Wonderful - get it? Give it up for Ian Waite.

:23:07.:23:10.

APPLAUSE Saturday saw them craft another

:23:11.:23:16.

beautiful story for our enjoyment. Here is the story of Mark and

:23:17.:23:22.

Evetta's American smooth. I tell you, you can tell a story. It was

:23:23.:23:27.

mimed to perfection. You played it beautifully. You really have got to

:23:28.:23:32.

work on your hands. They are absolutely ruining the line of the

:23:33.:23:38.

dance. You capture the essence of every dance. I'm not saying that

:23:39.:23:42.

dancing is, you know, top notch, fantastic, but what I love -

:23:43.:23:47.

watching you, you get it, and that's great. 6. 6. 7. 8. Fantastic. Praise

:23:48.:24:05.

God, yes. Woo! Please welcome the gorgeous Mark and Evetta. Well done

:24:06.:24:12.

yet again, Mr B for Benetton or is it B for Brilliant and Boston! Hey!

:24:13.:24:17.

I know. I thought about that a long time. They can't get enough of you

:24:18.:24:22.

online. Katie from Leeds says "Mark's whole personality shines

:24:23.:24:25.

through when he dances." Did you enjoy it out there Saturday? Yeah,

:24:26.:24:29.

it was great. I was a bit worried about it because it was totally

:24:30.:24:32.

different to the salsa obviously, and I was thinking, oh, are people

:24:33.:24:37.

going to like it? I loved it - trying to do graceful stuff and

:24:38.:24:40.

maybe surprising people, I don't know. And your wife and son were

:24:41.:24:47.

watching. Yes, they were. She's killed me since... You again I bet.

:24:48.:24:52.

After the Austin powers the week before, was it good to do something

:24:53.:24:55.

a little more serious and show different sides? Yeah, it was

:24:56.:24:59.

lovely. We tried to do something more serious. You can't do funny

:25:00.:25:02.

every week because people will think, that's all he does. I wanted

:25:03.:25:07.

to do the dance properly and be graceful and try to get my hands

:25:08.:25:12.

properli... Highest score yet, 26. Was it good you could show off Mark

:25:13.:25:18.

and how good was he at the dance techniques? That was really good.

:25:19.:25:23.

Yes, it's good to show his acting skills, and in another dance to show

:25:24.:25:26.

his technique and that he can actually dance, so I think he did an

:25:27.:25:30.

amazing job. I am really, really proud. The other thing is they all

:25:31.:25:33.

booed Craig when he was talking about your hands. The audience were

:25:34.:25:38.

furious, as were people at home. Yeah. When you have danced something

:25:39.:25:42.

like that and someone gives you criticism like that, is it hard to

:25:43.:25:46.

take, or do you take it on the chin? Do you know, I don't mind it because

:25:47.:25:49.

when it's constructive - I am here to learn to dance. When you get

:25:50.:25:52.

constructive criticism, you think, that's great. I'll take it on. The

:25:53.:25:56.

dance we're doing this week, I am constantly saying, what am I doing

:25:57.:26:00.

with my hands here? That's how you learn, isn't it? Because by making

:26:01.:26:03.

mistakes, that's the only way you can get better I think. Karen was in

:26:04.:26:08.

yesterday and she said your hands were peck fect! Yeah, Karen, yes! We

:26:09.:26:14.

don't often get to talk about the prodancers on the show. You were

:26:15.:26:18.

stunning, flying on the Friday night show. Thank you. Made my ears leak a

:26:19.:26:23.

little bit! Is it difficult to be graceful when you're up in the air

:26:24.:26:27.

like that? It is a different feeling because you are hanging on the

:26:28.:26:31.

harness, and the tendency is to go forward, so you have to resist with

:26:32.:26:35.

your back to keep the pressure up, and with the cable, you have to feel

:26:36.:26:40.

it so you don't get like a jerking, but I've done it before a little

:26:41.:26:44.

bit. I have a chance to perform on Dancing with the Stars, a show where

:26:45.:26:49.

I did the whole number on the harness, so yeah, so that experience

:26:50.:26:52.

helped. It It does help a little bit. You looked glorious up there.

:26:53.:26:56.

Thank you. The thing is when we were looking at you guys in training, we

:26:57.:27:01.

thought you might have got a bit jealous because she was dancing with

:27:02.:27:05.

Anton on Saturday, but you needn't fear. She only has eyes for you, and

:27:06.:27:14.

with your face, it's no surprise. Ladies and gentlemen, Mark and his

:27:15.:27:15.

stupid array of faces. Yes! Are you looking beautiful?

:27:16.:27:20.

LAUGHTER That's the best thing of all. I love

:27:21.:27:46.

it when she says, "Are you looking beautiful" checking up on you. I am

:27:47.:27:51.

in trouble now. She's seen it. How is the cha-cha-cha shaping up for

:27:52.:27:56.

you? We're having fun. It's another fun dance. We have a few things in

:27:57.:28:01.

store. We're really enjoying it. Is there another story? We love the

:28:02.:28:05.

storytelling you two do? Got a little story in it, got a little

:28:06.:28:08.

theme running through it, yes. OK. How much would you like to see the

:28:09.:28:13.

scores go up? The technique is improving. Do you want to see the

:28:14.:28:17.

scores go up a little bit higher? Yes, every week we want the scores

:28:18.:28:20.

to get higher. It would be nice. Like I said to you last time I was

:28:21.:28:25.

on it, it's the comments I really like, and they're the things I try

:28:26.:28:29.

to listen to and learn from so the scores - yes, we want four 10s. Come

:28:30.:28:35.

on! Four 10s. How about somewhere in the middle - anything like that.

:28:36.:28:38.

Enjoy your dance at the weekend. We love the rapport between you two.

:28:39.:28:43.

Oh, thank you. Mark and Iveta. Enjoy this weekend. That is it for today.

:28:44.:28:47.

A huge thank you to all my beautiful guests. Tomorrow, Dave and Karen

:28:48.:28:53.

will be here, Rachel and Pasha and Sophie and Brendan, plus all the

:28:54.:28:58.

training room stories. We'll see you at 6. 30pm tomorrow night. Good

:28:59.:29:02.
