Welcome to It Takes Two. It's Thursday. On the show - we could

:00:00.:00:12.

have watched them dance all night long. It's Sophie and Brendan.

:00:13.:00:17.

She has come down with a case of Latin fever. Rachel and Pasha are

:00:18.:00:21.

here. Len called him the people's champion. What will his weekend be

:00:22.:00:28.

like? Dave and Karen are here. Plus to give me a weekend run-down of all

:00:29.:00:34.

the dresses, it is Nicky Gill and we'll have the latest training room

:00:35.:00:39.

updates from all the couples. This is Strictly, it takes two. -- It

:00:40.:00:55.

Takes Two. Live, from London, it is Strictly,

:00:56.:01:28.

It Takes Two. Please welcome your host zsh Zoe Ball.

:01:29.:01:34.

Welcome to It Takes Two. Time to get excited, as Saturday's showdown gets

:01:35.:01:39.

ever-closer. Hoping to up the ante even more after their

:01:40.:01:43.

highest-scoring samba at the weekend are my first guests, Sophie and

:01:44.:01:47.

Brendan. They are here next but first let's look at how some of the

:01:48.:01:54.

couples are getting on in training. This week we are dancing the

:01:55.:01:58.

Viennese waltz. It's going to be beautiful. Slow. It's going to be

:01:59.:02:04.

lovely. When I dance the waltz, you are supposed to keep your frame. But

:02:05.:02:07.

when I start moving my shoulder comes in and my neck goes to the

:02:08.:02:13.

side and it all looks skew-whiff. Look at your posture. Why is it

:02:14.:02:19.

twisted? Look, look. He is kicking me with his knee. I'm being bruised

:02:20.:02:26.

everywhere. You need shin pads. Today is about fine-tuning the

:02:27.:02:29.

brain. It is a big test. The waltz is a slow dance. Any mistakes will

:02:30.:02:34.

be seen. We are dancing the salsa. Hopefully

:02:35.:02:39.

I can get a little bit of movement, the shoulder rolling and stuff.

:02:40.:02:43.

Yeah, I mean, this is all knew to me It is like learning to flipping

:02:44.:02:49.

walk. Ben has to push himself further. More hip rotation, body

:02:50.:02:54.

action, faster feed, quicker line. Don't get lazy. . My big bottom is

:02:55.:02:59.

moving. The hips are moving a bit. I'm trying to loosen them up. . It

:03:00.:03:04.

is a social dance. There is not many rules. You can go for it and have

:03:05.:03:09.

fun. Fingers cross it'll be good at the weekend. Dancing the foxtrot, it

:03:10.:03:16.

is proper Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers' territory. A good foxtrot is

:03:17.:03:20.

of the position the lady holds, you should be telling a ro man take

:03:21.:03:25.

story. Six, seven, eight. There is so much that has to be happening

:03:26.:03:32.

with your feet and hips. It's a tricky dance, the foxtrot in

:03:33.:03:36.

terms of the technical side of things. But I'm excited. I think it

:03:37.:03:40.

is going to be a very good dance for her. Good job, Batman.

:03:41.:03:44.

Stylisticically I think it is gorgeous, so I know where we are

:03:45.:03:53.

aiming. I just don't know if I'll achieve it. Welcome Sophie and

:03:54.:03:59.

Brendan. A superb samba from Sophie on Saturday. You didn't look like

:04:00.:04:02.

you broke into a sweat. I love the way you look so cool when you do the

:04:03.:04:06.

dances. Did you enjoy yourself? I enjoyed it when we were dancing it.

:04:07.:04:10.

I stressed about it all week. It was the hardest dance for me, so far.

:04:11.:04:16.

Why was it so hard? It is a really tricky technique, isn't it, samba?

:04:17.:04:21.

Yeah. I could have done with a couple more days on it, really. I

:04:22.:04:24.

felt we were using the last couple of days in the studio getting it

:04:25.:04:28.

ready. So feeling not quite as prepared. There is a will the going

:04:29.:04:31.

on all the time. It is very technical. Tonnes to remember. It

:04:32.:04:37.

gets harder and harder. Wait until it gets to two dances. Panic. You

:04:38.:04:43.

meany, you made her do all those moves facing the judges. That must

:04:44.:04:47.

have been terrifying. Although she did it superbly. I have faith in

:04:48.:04:52.

Sophie. She is a lovely dancer. She has a natural feel for that. Look at

:04:53.:04:58.

that. Go on, girl. Challenge them. They are not here to

:04:59.:05:01.

have a nice little holiday. They are here to really enjoy the experience

:05:02.:05:05.

and get involved in it. I never push her too hard but I want to see where

:05:06.:05:09.

the limit is, if you know what I mean. I'm liking it. How was it for

:05:10.:05:13.

you to dance your wedding dance in front of millions of people

:05:14.:05:17.

watching, with a man who is not your husband? A little bit strange! The

:05:18.:05:23.

twisted folk. Richard really enjoyed it. He had come along to the

:05:24.:05:27.

training. It is a song I love. It really helps if you love the song

:05:28.:05:33.

when you dance with it. Of I I took strength from that. If you love the

:05:34.:05:37.

song, costume and partner, it is perfect. Two out of three ain't bad.

:05:38.:05:44.

We can only hope. Another mishap on rehearsals on Saturday, I hear. What

:05:45.:05:50.

happened this time? Oh, yeah. Well, the thing that everybody doesn't

:05:51.:05:53.

want to happen, falling over when you are dancing. I got my heel

:05:54.:05:58.

spectacularly caught in my frock and went down not once but twice because

:05:59.:06:02.

I couldn't get it out and landed on my bum. Dress rehearsal is the last

:06:03.:06:06.

chance you get before the live show, you want it to go smoothly otherwise

:06:07.:06:11.

you have uts do. The fact -- you have doubts.

:06:12.:06:15.

The fact that it didn't go as smoothly as planned shows how much

:06:16.:06:18.

she is loving it and getting involved. She is like - never mind,

:06:19.:06:24.

I'm getting back on it. I got out of doing the samba rolls. Hats off to

:06:25.:06:33.

you, ole king kole. You put all of Len's favourite hits, we had core at

:06:34.:06:43.

that backyas, and -- cortajackas and other moves. It is a great

:06:44.:06:47.

opportunity for us, the pros to do what we think is best for our

:06:48.:06:52.

partners. If we can find something in the mix which looks great and is

:06:53.:06:55.

also technical and gives them a challenge. I liked the choreography.

:06:56.:07:00.

It is a winner, showing off Sophie's ability but also in the training

:07:01.:07:04.

room showing off your ability to impersonate a woman. Have a look.

:07:05.:07:09.

Oh, no. We are here to play tennis, be the

:07:10.:07:13.

elegant sexy woman you are going to be.

:07:14.:07:19.

It looks a bit funny when I do it because I'm a burly, steely bloke.

:07:20.:07:29.

You are looking good. I'm jealous I'm not doing this, to

:07:30.:07:32.

be honest, as feminine as it is. Is that harder in heels? Not really.

:07:33.:07:47.

Do I look like I have ever worn heels? Anybody who has photographs

:07:48.:07:56.

of Brendan Cole wearing women's heels send them in. Foxtrot this

:07:57.:08:00.

week for you. How is it going? You have an amazing piece of music. We

:08:01.:08:05.

can play it as we chat. Cheek to Cheek. Are you in heaven? Are you

:08:06.:08:11.

loving it? I'm chuffed. It is a lovely dance. My granny, Sybil is

:08:12.:08:18.

coming on Saturday. I'm happy that she will see this. It is proper Fred

:08:19.:08:24.

and Ginger territory. I have heard, also, you are keeping it simple. But

:08:25.:08:30.

knowing you it won't be that simple? It is not simple. It is a difficult,

:08:31.:08:33.

tricky routine but like I said, I want the best and I think this week,

:08:34.:08:39.

we could have it. #2k3w50d luck. I'm -- good luck. I'm sure granny Sybil

:08:40.:08:43.

will love it. Thank you. Back it the training room

:08:44.:08:49.

-- back to the training rooms to see how Abbey, Deborah and Rachel are

:08:50.:08:52.

getting on. This week I'm dancing the tanning

:08:53.:08:56.

yoe. It is very strong and passionate. The only bit I'm

:08:57.:09:00.

concerned about is giving it fierce attitude. I have the Gibbs.

:09:01.:09:04.

LAUGHTER What is funny?

:09:05.:09:12.

-- I have the giggles. I couldn't stop laughing. I think he

:09:13.:09:16.

was getting annoyed with me. Come on, focus. Be dead serious. I

:09:17.:09:21.

really, really need to go out there on Saturday and prove I can be this

:09:22.:09:24.

strong, fierce woman. I'm dancing the jive. It is full of

:09:25.:09:33.

loads and loads of steps. Step, knee, knee, step, hold.

:09:34.:09:40.

Two, three. I am finding the jive steps very, very difficult to pick

:09:41.:09:44.

up. Two, three, four, five, six. One of

:09:45.:09:49.

the biggest challenges is that it is really fast I actually have to work

:09:50.:09:54.

hard at it. I have to think about things. Two, three, four, it's not

:09:55.:09:59.

hard. Got T I learn my routines by thinking about them, not just doing

:10:00.:10:03.

them. -- got it. Knee up. And then kick. ! This week

:10:04.:10:10.

Pasha and I are dancing the quickstep, unsurprisingly, it is

:10:11.:10:16.

very, very quick. I want us flying, right from the start. Flying across

:10:17.:10:20.

the floor. The good thing about the quickstep is a lot is in hold. I'm

:10:21.:10:24.

going back to my original plan - hang on to Pasha and find out what

:10:25.:10:28.

happens. If it is uncomfortable, it means you are in the right place.

:10:29.:10:34.

Don't hang on to me. Fly away. She needs, speed, stamina and lightning

:10:35.:10:41.

reactions. It is really hard. I have to really concentrate to bring it on

:10:42.:10:45.

Saturday night. Love that - fly away, it's time.

:10:46.:10:50.

Welcome Rachel and Pasha. Oh, dear. We'll talk about this week

:10:51.:10:55.

in a moment but clever cats, you weren't looking forward to the

:10:56.:10:58.

cha-cha-cha and look what happened, you went out and got 27. Brilliant

:10:59.:11:04.

Yes. I was pleased. Much better than the salsa. Utter relief. Bless you.

:11:05.:11:10.

There was r sort of like a Samsonesque transformation. I don't

:11:11.:11:13.

know whether it was the hair extensions, which equals power. Did

:11:14.:11:17.

that give you a character to pretend to be? It was weird. I didn't feel

:11:18.:11:21.

like myself. As soon as I had that hair - I have never had hair that

:11:22.:11:25.

long, I was doing all that. Even when they took it out, I was still

:11:26.:11:30.

going. Have you kept in it in a box under your bed? No, they went back.

:11:31.:11:34.

Zbloo that would be weird. -- That would be weird. You had double

:11:35.:11:39.

Latins. Was it great it see Rachel finally got it? It was great to have

:11:40.:11:44.

two Latin dances, we had to build on one after the other. The whole

:11:45.:11:48.

thing, the character, the dress, the hair, I think it helped Rachael a

:11:49.:11:51.

lot to get into the cha-cha mode. You went from 20 to 27. You saw

:11:52.:11:56.

improvement in your girl. It was amazing improvement. I think

:11:57.:12:00.

that's what it is call about anyway. Giving little tasks and pushing them

:12:01.:12:04.

a little bit every single time. Did you feel the tingles that Bruno was

:12:05.:12:09.

going on about? I'm not sure what they were, but I definitely have to

:12:10.:12:14.

get into cha-cha, sexy mode. I took myself into the zone before I went

:12:15.:12:18.

on and ignored everything else and tried to focus. It worked. Len could

:12:19.:12:23.

not stop going on about your bionic bum. I'm in the really sure - I fell

:12:24.:12:28.

on it today, it feels nice and soft. No metal in there. You were limping

:12:29.:12:34.

in. What have you done? Well, bionic bum or not, it is your treat that

:12:35.:12:40.

need a little bit of tlc. Have a little peek. The modern torture

:12:41.:12:47.

twice of modern dancing. Every time Rachael wears them she gets nasty,

:12:48.:12:52.

nasty blisters. I'm getting another blister. ! Shoes verses ravel. 1-0.

:12:53.:13:01.

Shoes are winning. Blister again in my ballroom shoes. Straight out of

:13:02.:13:05.

them, straight into my slippers. Really? Looking good to move.

:13:06.:13:13.

Comfie. Are you going to dance on the show in your heels? Not if I can

:13:14.:13:17.

get away with slippers. I shi you should have a matching

:13:18.:13:21.

pair. -- I think. That would be cool. We can slide

:13:22.:13:25.

across the floor. This week it is ballroom. You were saying in the

:13:26.:13:29.

training bit, you just want to hang on to Pasha. It's the quickstep. How

:13:30.:13:35.

is it? I can see why they called it the quickstep. Everyone always says

:13:36.:13:39.

that - the clue is in the title! It's not that it is quick, but it is

:13:40.:13:43.

quick, and because it is quick, you can fit at least three times more

:13:44.:13:48.

steps in, so so many more steps sto remember, and -- steps to remember.

:13:49.:13:52.

And to count. Talking about counting, which obviously you should

:13:53.:13:55.

be brilliant at. Because you are a mathematical genius but you have

:13:56.:13:59.

discovered something about Rachel this week. Great with big sums, got

:14:00.:14:04.

a problem with... Left and right. Nightmare with dancing. Spachl

:14:05.:14:12.

awareness. Can I just get over this, no-one has noticed yet Can you put L

:14:13.:14:19.

and R on her feet? We don't want her looking down. Let's hear your music.

:14:20.:14:25.

A great track. Johnny Got A Boom Boom.

:14:26.:14:32.

Pasha has a Boom Boom as well. What? You have had great success with

:14:33.:14:37.

Kimberly and Chelsea. How is it working out? Are you pleased? As

:14:38.:14:41.

usual, I put too much content into the quickstep so judges cannot

:14:42.:14:46.

say... It is amazing, I love T when he does it by himself, it looks

:14:47.:14:51.

brilliant. Whapts when you step in -- what happens? When Pasha does it

:14:52.:14:55.

by himself, it looks brilliant. Have some faith in yourself. You needed

:14:56.:15:00.

to build up some stamina. It is so fast. I believe you got sent out to

:15:01.:15:04.

do some sport this week. We played squash. Do you play it normally? I

:15:05.:15:10.

love it. Are you any good? Not bad but I haven't played for ages. He

:15:11.:15:17.

keeps me busy. Who won the squash? Oh, yes, come on, Rachel. How can

:15:18.:15:25.

you ensure your confidence stays up this week? I've loved T I couldn't

:15:26.:15:29.

wait to get back to the ballroom. I love quickstep. I just wish we had a

:15:30.:15:33.

joker card to play to have a bit longer, maybe next week. By Saturday

:15:34.:15:37.

it will be awesome. Another day and a week! I can't give you that. Good

:15:38.:15:42.

luck this weekend. Rachel and Paddy Ashdownia.

:15:43.:15:44.

Let's head back to the training room to check up on some more of our

:15:45.:15:50.

celebrities. This week we are dancing the

:15:51.:15:57.

cha-cha. It's been pretty tricky. Cha-cha is a very energetic dance,

:15:58.:16:01.

but there has to be a connection between two people. How am I getting

:16:02.:16:12.

confused? ? What happens is sometimes I can follow it and

:16:13.:16:16.

sometimes it is slightly tricky. When you are with me, it is easier.

:16:17.:16:20.

I can't remember that bit. She said - do it together and it will be

:16:21.:16:25.

easier. When she did, it was a bit of a Eureka. It was great fun! And

:16:26.:16:31.

dancing the rumba, and Anton is throwing me about the stage a little

:16:32.:16:35.

bit. It is an upbeat sort of fun, rum BA we are going to have some fun

:16:36.:16:44.

with it. . We do a couple of big, crowd-pleasing manoeuvres I'm loving

:16:45.:16:48.

the rumba but I'm finding it incredibly painful. I'm covered in

:16:49.:16:52.

bruises. My wrist yesterday and my ankle today. There is a trick to

:16:53.:16:56.

being thrown around in the rumba and that's the core strength you need.

:16:57.:17:01.

That is the bit I'm stumbling with at the moment. The rumba is the most

:17:02.:17:05.

dangerous dance I have done. I hope it is worth it in the end. This

:17:06.:17:10.

weekend I'm doing a salsa. Very excited. I have always wanted to

:17:11.:17:15.

learn it. I think Julien is going to do really well. He has a natural,

:17:16.:17:20.

little, funny grove going on. Don't laugh. Things which look easy never

:17:21.:17:26.

are. There is a lot of arm and twists and turns in it.

:17:27.:17:31.

And we shimmy a lot. I'm going to teach Julien how to properly shimmy.

:17:32.:17:36.

Salsa is a dance of lots of timing and so on. I need to focus on those

:17:37.:17:42.

points and enjoy myself. This week we are dancing the

:17:43.:17:46.

quickstep. At the moment it is all a bit frantic.

:17:47.:17:52.

Just skipping along. It's impossible. Quickstep is probably

:17:53.:17:56.

the hardest one out of all ballroom dances. Your timing has to be really

:17:57.:18:01.

good. Things can go wrong in many, many places. More practice is needed

:18:02.:18:07.

and crossed fingers. I literally feel a bit faint.

:18:08.:18:12.

Today we had to finish rehearsal early because of the pain that

:18:13.:18:17.

Natalie had in her back. It is quite nerve-wrecking. If it is serious,

:18:18.:18:21.

she might not be able to continue. Poor Natalie. She has really been

:18:22.:18:26.

struggling with a back injury. She has missed out on training. She is

:18:27.:18:29.

going to the doctors and we will have more of an update from Natalie

:18:30.:18:34.

herself on tomorrow's show. Fingers crossed she will be OK. Time for my

:18:35.:18:41.

one of my favourite parts of the show, where I get a peek at the

:18:42.:18:46.

costumes. Welcome back Vicky Gill. We are four weeks into the

:18:47.:18:50.

competition. At this point, to make it clear, how many costumes do you

:18:51.:18:54.

thou I this you have designed and made this series so far? -- do you

:18:55.:18:59.

think? About 250. All on her own! No, no, no. Incredible. It is the

:19:00.:19:04.

fourth year of you being head of costume. Do you ever run out of

:19:05.:19:08.

idea? Or is your brain crammed with them? Ideas is not a problem. It is

:19:09.:19:12.

how we get through the week and think - are we going to make the

:19:13.:19:16.

live and get everything finished. The creative, that's the fun bit. It

:19:17.:19:20.

flows. Let's talk about this week. Walk with me.

:19:21.:19:24.

If I do this, imagine what that dress is going to look like? Who is

:19:25.:19:29.

going to be wearing this? Susannah. She is doing the samba. With Kevin

:19:30.:19:35.

from Grimsby. He is in tonight, by the way.

:19:36.:19:41.

Moving with Indiana Jones' theme. An Indiana Jones' them to this. Very

:19:42.:19:45.

excited. Is it going to have a whip? Maybe. And a hat. Talk me through

:19:46.:19:52.

the design of this. We went with a chocolate brown base but to liven it

:19:53.:19:57.

up we created an Aztec print all done by hand by the wonderful

:19:58.:20:01.

stoning and embellishment department. I like that grand title

:20:02.:20:05.

as well. I think the colours are rat great.

:20:06.:20:12.

We have mat crystals - AB crystals, that's what they are called. The

:20:13.:20:16.

official title. So we get lots of shine. The fringing, of course -

:20:17.:20:20.

this gets cut once Susannah is wearing the dress. On Friday we will

:20:21.:20:25.

do our fitting and I'm 100% sure that the skirt, the hemline will

:20:26.:20:30.

come up. Hopefully we'll reveal more cover from the underskirt. And it'll

:20:31.:20:35.

swish. As the weeks go on, the ladies get more confident and the

:20:36.:20:41.

dresses get shorter. Look at this. This is Fiona's. It is work in

:20:42.:20:45.

progress. We are going to do our fitting again tomorrow. She is doing

:20:46.:20:50.

a rumba She will decide, really, how high she would like the splits to go

:20:51.:20:55.

on the side. How much leg to show on the centre front. You will have to

:20:56.:20:59.

watch this space to see how much is revealed. Remember it now. When you

:21:00.:21:03.

see it on Saturday it might be tucked in more and up She has lovely

:21:04.:21:08.

pins. Let's talk about Deborah. I loved her quickstep dress on

:21:09.:21:11.

Saturday. Is she was one of my favourites. This week she is doing a

:21:12.:21:17.

jive to Bucks Fizz Making Your Mind Up. I think we all know what is

:21:18.:21:21.

going to happen. We are going to have the big rip-off. Fantastic.

:21:22.:21:27.

What is your frock like? We'll start with a red number. The neckline and

:21:28.:21:32.

silhouette will be there to make her feel comfortable. I hope when she

:21:33.:21:38.

does her fitting, she will be happy. When she does the reveal, it'll up

:21:39.:21:43.

to her whether she will have silver hotpants or a frilly skirt. Abbey is

:21:44.:21:48.

doing a tango. We have two red dresses here. On the live it'll not

:21:49.:21:53.

be so red, within the show. Abbey's dress is quite sheer with a crystal

:21:54.:21:59.

underbody. Strictly Sparkle is not too far away. They will be dance g

:22:00.:22:05.

to a number which was the inspiration to the beginnings. I

:22:06.:22:12.

like the back Very low. Two high splits over each leg. Although it

:22:13.:22:15.

looks covered at the moment I'm sure when you see it... Her lovely long

:22:16.:22:19.

pins will come out. I have heard Ben, very kroe. That is he a all I

:22:20.:22:23.

needed to know. That means something is coming off. -- velcro. There will

:22:24.:22:28.

be a reveal of sorts. Watch this space. Mark, more the excitingly is

:22:29.:22:34.

dancing to MC Hammer. We definitely have Hammer pants. Whether they are

:22:35.:22:38.

gold or black we will have to wait and see. I love this show.

:22:39.:22:42.

Fantastic, you are doing an amazing job.

:22:43.:22:48.

Give it up for Vice Gill. We -- Vice Gill. We know some of our

:22:49.:22:55.

celebrities are working hard but do they know what they are doing? This

:22:56.:22:58.

week we will be dancing the Choo cha. It is good fun, a fun routine.

:22:59.:23:03.

-- cha-cha. I was made for cha-cha. You were made for dancing. I'm

:23:04.:23:07.

struggling getting the timing of steps.

:23:08.:23:13.

He has really connected to this dance. We are just having a great

:23:14.:23:17.

time learning it. That's what you want to see. That'sm not very fast,

:23:18.:23:21.

is it? Although it is really complicated. I'm enjoying it. I

:23:22.:23:25.

wouldn't describe it as a straight cha-cha. Yvette at that has put a

:23:26.:23:32.

couple of other bits in that hopefully the audience will really

:23:33.:23:35.

enjoy. We are dancing the samba.

:23:36.:23:43.

This is in your face, party, Latin, shake everything you have got kind

:23:44.:23:48.

of dance. Oh, I can't do that I'm terrified by the samba. Silly. There

:23:49.:23:54.

is a lot of rotating of the hips. At times it can be close and intimate.

:23:55.:24:00.

At other times you are on your own. There is nothing about it that

:24:01.:24:04.

doesn't frighten the life out of me. It is notoriously difficult. We have

:24:05.:24:08.

a lot of work to do. Snooft it stresses me out slight. I'm not sure

:24:09.:24:16.

I can pull it off. Karen and I will be dancing the waltz. Sometimes it

:24:17.:24:21.

is a cacophony of confusion. Look at me, don't look at me. I never told

:24:22.:24:26.

you to look away. We have to work on our technique and posture. You are

:24:27.:24:29.

driving like a madman. I do not want to be a passenger. She has got cross

:24:30.:24:33.

with me a few times but justified. She cares. The waltz has to be

:24:34.:24:39.

accurate. She relies on me having a nice frame. A nice frame, where is

:24:40.:24:44.

your frame? Where you are your frame? I'm making sure he has

:24:45.:24:48.

everything from his finger nails to his toes, everything has to be

:24:49.:24:49.

perfect. Dave and Karen.p

:24:50.:25:03.

We love it, we love it. I love it so much. A beautiful whistle you are

:25:04.:25:07.

wearing. I think the waltz. I'm trying to improve my posture and

:25:08.:25:11.

live this dance. I feel a suit is quite appropriate for tonight. Very.

:25:12.:25:17.

Look, I'm sitting up straight. We are all being good. Let's talk about

:25:18.:25:21.

the paso doble. Everybody loved it on Saturday night. How did you enjoy

:25:22.:25:25.

it? We loved it, didn't we? It was brilliant. We did it with passion.

:25:26.:25:29.

Tried to give it everything we could. We got those messages from

:25:30.:25:33.

Meatloaf as well in the morning. That was the best, you know. What

:25:34.:25:37.

did he say? Well, he wished us luck. I tweeted back, "If I can do the

:25:38.:25:41.

dance with 10% of the passion you have, I have it made." He said,

:25:42.:25:48.

"Dave, (he said) well, he didn't say Dave, he didn't know my name. He

:25:49.:25:53.

said - get into character forget you you are ""I did. I imagined I was a

:25:54.:26:00.

rhinoceros that was transfused with Steven Siegal's blood and went out

:26:01.:26:05.

there like an endangered species. I'm still catching up with that. It

:26:06.:26:09.

worked. Glorious. Before you went on to do the dance, Karen, we picked up

:26:10.:26:14.

on your microphone, obviously everyone is listening to you 24/7.

:26:15.:26:20.

You said, "This is going to be epic." It was. The audience and

:26:21.:26:23.

everyone at home loved T you go to the judges and they are critical.

:26:24.:26:27.

How confusing is that? Well, we are not confused. The judges - I love

:26:28.:26:31.

the judges but they are a bit confusing sometimes. I mean

:26:32.:26:35.

everybody loved it. I mean this one, he was out there for blood. He was.

:26:36.:26:44.

That face again. He was scared half of the time. All of a sudden I

:26:45.:26:49.

thought I was doing faces as well. I was attacking him as well. Help me?

:26:50.:26:55.

We were violent to each other. I feel like I'm at the zoo. It's

:26:56.:27:01.

brilliant. A mat adore, you are trying to kill a bull. ! Well, Len

:27:02.:27:07.

said watching it. He said it was like being waxed. Seems cruel.

:27:08.:27:12.

Smooth. When you have worked so hard, does it hurt to get comments

:27:13.:27:17.

like that? Were you disappointed? I was gutted, not disappointed. On the

:27:18.:27:21.

other hand, it was the ovation that we got from the audience. They said

:27:22.:27:25.

on the show it was one of the biggest standing ovations e they had

:27:26.:27:31.

had on Strictly. -- ovations they'd had. We were ten feet high. Nobody

:27:32.:27:35.

is going to take us down. You have to look at Bruno watching you.

:27:36.:27:39.

He looks like he is in some sort of pain. Have a look. I think he

:27:40.:27:44.

swallowed a fly there. I love Darcey's face as well. Suddenly, off

:27:45.:27:50.

he goes. But, Craig, look how seriously Craig is taking the whole

:27:51.:27:54.

thing. What is he like? Anyway, the great thing s we come back to Len

:27:55.:27:59.

and he says People's Champ Yorks, positive, hooray. -- people's

:28:00.:28:07.

champion. He has said some brilliant things. The American smooth. He said

:28:08.:28:11.

it was like a budget airline, we are bumpy in the air but we get there in

:28:12.:28:19.

the end. A change of pays from paso to waltz. -- pace.

:28:20.:28:25.

You are getting there. This is your paso face. It has to turn into a

:28:26.:28:32.

happy face. Paso face, happy face. Paso face, happy face. Paso face,

:28:33.:28:36.

happy, waltzy face. Good.

:28:37.:28:44.

LAUGHS I love it. Happy waltzy face is so

:28:45.:28:50.

good. Happy face. You are dancing to the Eagles, which we can hear.

:28:51.:28:56.

How is it going to be for you on Saturday, Dave? Is it going to be a

:28:57.:29:01.

good one for you? Do you feel it? I do. We have kind of cracked it. I'm

:29:02.:29:05.

walking upright for the first time in 35 years. She has made know ander

:29:06.:29:13.

tal man stand up. -- made knee ander tal man stand up. It is a work in

:29:14.:29:18.

progress. Every day he is progressing. Small steps make big

:29:19.:29:22.

victories. How will you make the judges say more positive things? Do

:29:23.:29:28.

you think this week will be it? I think we can turn the judges around

:29:29.:29:34.

this week. He has got - we have been workings. We are out of time I'm so

:29:35.:29:38.

sorry. We have been working really hard.

:29:39.:29:42.

Good luck, Dave and Karen. It gets to you after a while, this show.

:29:43.:29:47.

Join me tomorrow here at 6.30pm. Ashley and hola and Deborah and

:29:48.:29:51.

Robin. And we'll catch up with Artem. Plus a Friday Panel which

:29:52.:29:58.

features Jenny Faulkner, Tom Fletcher from McFly and Christopher

:29:59.:30:00.

Biggins.
