from the Strictly pier after a staggering five dance offs.

to Jamelia and Tristan. Hello. Absolutely beauties. What a

frock. I thought I would make an effort. Last one. Your last one. You

could have made an effort Tristan! What a series for you guys, you

played an absolute blinder. I have been so impressed at you two, week

after week. And are you sad it is over or is a bit of you relieved you

will never have to do a dance off ever again Jamelia? I have begun to

enjoy the dance offs. I am obviously sad we are out of the competition,

and you know, but I am over the moon that we made it to Blackpool. I

thought week three, you know, that was going to be my limit. That is

week nine, and not only that, I was so pleased with our dance, I enjoyed

it so much. I feel like I went out on a highing you. Very much. It was

brilliant that quickstep. In the beginning you were like, you were

like that be the ballroom. Darcey said it was your best ballroom? Did

you enjoy it? I enjoyed it so much. Had a blast. What was going through

your mind in the dance off? Are you still think there's is hope we could

do this? I definitely thought there was hope. I thought we did a great

last dance. I think it was until they re-recorded Pete's standing

ovation. I would say that was the moment I realised we are going home.

Really. Tristan, there has been a lot of chat on social media,

Jamelia, obviously scored higher than Peter on Saturday night. Len

said if it had been a tie he would have saved you. Do you think the

judges should have saved Jamelia last night? Well I do. The thing

about it is, the show is based on opinions, you know, and there was

four opinions who got to decide which way the show went. They gave

their opinion, so that is up to them. If it was my opinion I would

have saved us. That is the way the show goes. I think that we done the

best we could have done. I told Jamelia before we went down, we were

resigned to it before the show started. That is the way I think.

The way I looked a at it. We can go that is what is going to happen and

sit down for the whole week or we can put as much work as we can into

making it a much more difficult decision to do. That is what we did.

Before went out, said look, your dance at its best is better than his

tonight. That was the attitude we needed to pick us up. So, it is not

really a silver lining for me. We went out, but, I am very happy about

the effort that we put in, and I think we done a great job. I said it

on the night. Think it was our best dance overall of the full season. I

am very happy with it. But I don't want to take away from the work

Janette and Peter put in. That is what is getting lost. It is a tricky

situation. This is the thing. You have to understand everyone is

working incredibly hard. I would never want to take away from anyone

else's efforts. They definitely have put just as much effort as everyone

else in and I love them to bits. No hard feelings whatsoever. You know,

I am really happy for them. I salute you both. You are so gracious in a

tricky situation. And I am glad you enjoyed your experience. How is that

floor to dance on by the way? The spring and the crowd? I forgot about

it. It was brilliant. It was my most enjoyable dance, and as I said, if I

could have scripted my exit, it would have been that, it would have

been on Blackpool Tower ballroom against one of the best dancers in

the competition, inner a blaze of controversy. -- in a blaze of

Tristan has made me feel, you know what, I have done nine routines.

Nine routine, that is crazy. Nine routines. 18 times! You danced more

than anyone else ever on this show. Even finalist. Let us remind you of

heard Tristan's name... We have waltz. When I think of the waltz. I

think of grace and elegance, none of which apply to me. It started off

fantastic. It lost a little bit near the end. This week I am doing the

cha-cha. The concept is you being a pop star. He wants a diva, he will

is... Jamelia and Tristan. I am going to do everything I possibly

Quickstep training has gone surprisingly well. I am loving it.

difficult. It is your best ballroom. Very impressive.

thought Jamelia and Tristan did a very, very fine quickstep. I would

have brought you back. I have had the most fantastic time. I have met

the most amazing set of friends. I thought I with us going to get the

week three and be gone. I am here at the Tower Ballroom. The improvement

has been unbelievable. I couldn't be more proud. Thank you.

was your favourite dance? If you had to pick? It was the quickstep, that

was definitely my favourite. It was something I never thought I would be

able to do, a great ballroom dance and I just enjoyed it and I looked a

bit like Nicki Minaj. You did, the hair. Anything you would like to say

to Tristan? I have said it to him over and over again. He is the best.

I feel so fortunate to have been partnered with you. I feel I have

It certainly was a dramatic weekend, and with so much drama

on the dance floor, heaven knows what was going on backstage.

There is a place you go to dance. Take your chance. The second you

walk through those doors... There's stunning girls and dashing men.

Feather, sparkle. Magic. Glitz. They are used to putting on the Ritz.

Toes are tapping. Fingers snapping. The lights are lit. The music is

humming. Lady, fella, roll up quickly, the tower is open. The

password? Strictly. Hello, It Takes Two. It is Jeremy

Vine at a stave distance from the dance floor. I am here to find out

what makes the Blackpool show so special.

Aliona, this is Blackpool. Is it different, betters what is it? It is

by far the most beautiful ballroom in the world. This week we are

opening, I can sit back, watch the guys do their thing.

My friend peed Pete e you have performed all over the world this is

still special? It is special, it is scary, it's an honour. We are in the

Vegas of the north. This experience is off the chart.

The sense of occasion, just the scale of it all. What is it like on

that floor? They say it is springy With Kevin I don't notice it so

much. When we are doing the big group number it is like being on a

trampoline. It changes the performance of your

dance to be able to throw it out to all of the different layers of

audience. I always love Blackpool. There is something special about it.

The first time I was I was seven. I used to come for competition, but it

was in May. This is in November so the tropical feel is gone.

You get more as well. We have more prop, extra dancers so we try harder

at Blackpool. Is it fair to say the audience is going to give it a bit

more welly? Yes, definitely. We are more rowdy up north. Waiting to the

last second to the put the shoes on. From behind the scenes our Strictly

on Saturday night with a Cuban

Salsa street party and it delivered Jay and Aliona are here! You have

been working on the show so long that you have started to dress

alike. Black trousers, white tops. Have you got red soled shoes? Me and

Karen Hardy as well. I didn't get the memo! Way to go, McGuinness,

owning the show at Blackpool in that way. Incredible. House psyched were

you before you went out? I was psyched! I like going near the start

of the show so that you have done it and you can watch everyone do their

thing and relax before the results. I like going first, and it was a fun

dance. Your slinky salsa took us all to Cuba. Well done. Bruno said he

could not spot the professional dancers, because you are that good

now. How do you like to hear things like that? That is an awesome

compliment, really nice of him. I don't feel very Cuban, so I was

channelling Benidorm! 2010, ladders' holiday. Bruno loves

Benidorm. Four nines, week nine. Aliona, how impressed were you with

this boy? Actually, I enjoyed dancing so much with Jay, because

poor the first time, it felt like we were dancing together. I could see

that he was playing with the dance. He was really dancing with me and he

was in the moment. And then the judges' comments were unbelievable,

so complimentary. I know what you mean. It is like when your face

relaxed. Craig was loving the emotion coming through. Did it feel

different, Jay? Yeah, I said I was really looking at you. I was like,

hi, Aliona, we are both on Strictly! Look at these moves! It

felt good. And the mishap from the week before, you had put to the back

of your mind. You just looked really determined. Did that take work,

Aliona? No. With us, you never know which way it will go. Before we came

on the floor, we went out first, and before the beginning of the show, we

went over the routine ten or 15 went over the routine ten or 15

mistakes. So we never know, but then when we came on the floor, it

actually just happened and it was magic. It was magic. How does a

typical training week ago in Miss Vilani's classroom? I hear that

sometimes, there is no music on day one. There is no music on day one.

It is all about technique on day one and day two. Silence. Then you start

to get into character. In the beginning, IT can how to dance the

dance. -- I teach him how to dance the dance. Then we start to feel the

dance. It depends on the week, but I go with the flow. Sometimes, I have

you playing, counting crows? Yeah, I learned that from my ex when I was

17. It was the only thing I can play on piano. Impressive. Onto the

ice and all sorts of stuff. There was going to be fire and ice, and

then today I started to choreograph. After ten minutes, I

had nothing. Then I realised there will probably be no fire and ice.

The production doesn't know it yet! They know now. There is a producer

called Jack who probably has a board of ice pictures and fire, and he

will be watching now. Ripping them all up. Let's start again! Well

Charleston often score high points compared to the other ones? Well,

Charleston has quite an easy technique am so in my opinion, you

can get away with murder if you perform well. Karen, would you

agree? Definitely. It comes a bit later in the show, when they have

had time to find their bits and bobs, and they can just let it go.

ever, she thinks. Which dance Esther expresses the spirit of back book

Tower ballroom to you? The spirit has to be going back in the history

books. The drama created by Anita and Gleb, they made that room look

huge, and it is. All the heartbreak and the happiness that happens at

Blackpool, they captured everything. Tristan, Jasmine says, what is your

favourite dance step or step sequence, and can she have a demo

bys -- can she have a demo? I don't know. What is your favourite? I have

no idea. What do you want me to do? You said I wouldn't have to dance.
