in Strictly in your family? It's changed, at the start we were all

for Tameka. Then we switched to Greg and they are both gone now. Last

weekend 's... We were firmly in the Louise camp. Does it mean she's

going this week? It was the dress, that It Takes Two dress. Eranga, I

know you are a super fan but you've had time to watch and write a book.

Thank goodness. I have, thank you for mentioning, that's very kind,

this is meant to be about Strictly. I didn't know you had a book out.

We've all got a book out! It's in all good retailers. It isn't about

me, it's about Strictly. Are you enjoying this series? Levelling the

the samba live up to the show stopper from last week? Dancing to a

Brazilian classic. I can't pronounce it. Miranda, what are you thinking?

As a professional dancer, it looks a little bit manic to me. A bit sort

of, what's going on there? The speed of it. I love him, he's amazing, but

I'm convinced and I rewind the dancers a lot, I think they were a

little bit out of time on their charleston. What?! I would have gone

nine. Have you met Oti? She'll be here in a minute. I'm going to have

a beady eye this week. Nothing gets under your nose. Katy, who is his

biggest threat this weekend? I love watching Danny, he's a very good

dancer. His issue in a way is that he's too good. Some people enjoy

seeing big improvements week to week. Just to enjoy watching him,

it's like watching old Hollywood musicals. The choreography is always

amazing, I'm obsessed with Oti's choreography. His biggest threat

dance wise is Ore. From a public entertainment point of view, maybe

Ed. You're a proper pundit, you are. This, can I talk? City tell test. If

you put a tea towel over the top third of the screen. -- for tea

towel test. You can't tell he's not professional dancer. We'll be doing

that later on. It'll ruin it for everyone else watching. I would

prefer a sequin shawl. A tea towel... It's quite drab. A Ghribi

Next up is Louise and Kevin, who impressed with their

Paso in Blackpool ? tomorrow they're Waltzing.

In this dance she has to fall in love with Kevin permits making her

giggle. Can you see she's fallen in love with him in this dance? I

watched earlier in the week he said she was looking down too much. Every

single week she sells the dance, really gets into it. With Louise,

not only is she great, looks great, brilliant dancer, she has the

Clifton factor. The Clifton factor. Through all that together, they are

formidable. You can use that, the Clifton factor. It's a book or a

tour. And we have a spin off of a spin off? I don't think she knows

how good she is, that's my thing with Louise. Is that good or bad?

Very sweet and very quotable. If she knew how good she was, she would

fly. -- very good and very Dubai. -- very votable. Ed and Katya, a tango

to the Rolling Stones. We can hear it. There it is. Look at him go.

Come on, Ed. I'm quite interested in his attire, he seems to be wearing a

distinguish who is not the professional dancer now. One word,

series! Such celebrations. Did you have a little cry later on? I would

have done. You know, it really touched me because my Nan was in the

audience and to have her there meant the world to me. It was a really

special night for one or two other reasons. Wonderful. Oti, did you

know you were onto a winner in the training room with this? Thinking,

hang on a minute, he's good at this. I had no idea, we had like a moment

in rehearsal where we were like, oh my this could be so amazing. But you

never really know because you don't go in thinking, I want 40 points,

you want to go out there, entertain people and have fun. Somebody who's

never done the charleston before. I think we did it. I loved the red

jacket. I wonder if anyone asked for a G and T and dry roasted peanuts.

If they did I wouldn't have had time to get it. Back in a minute!

Darcey said it was difficult to distinguish who was the professional

dancer, that had to put a spring in your stuck? Especially sitting next

to this professional dancer. What did you think, Oti? It means I did

my job right. Such a complicated, intricate routine. What was the

trickiest thing for you to master out of all of work? I don't know?

What was the trickiest bit? We changed the lifts. It was the lifts.

We used to stick to a certain lift all the way to the end and it was

the final lift. We tried to stick with it, then the last thing you

want a bus to get through the whole routine and their mess it up with

the lift that the end. Oti will push me so far to the point where I am

not getting something and then, if it is still not working on the last

time, then she would change it. I always tell him there is a plan a

comet it we have a plan B, it takes away from plan a. We have plan A, we

do that and if it doesn't work at the last moment, we will change it.

Reluctantly. Do you feel pressure now to maintain that or you can

relax now, you have a ten from Craig and we can all go home? I wish.

Every dance is an individual challenge, so when you can line it

up at the end of your experience here, you can go, that is what I got

for each of them. You cannot compete this week's dance with last week. We

your own vision on this? I do. Because it has never been done

before, I love the tribal bill. Every samba is like Brazil, on the

beach with feathers. So, our theme is like celebrating tribal dance in

the forests of the Amazon. Sounds incredibly exotic. I saw your

costume yesterday, we couldn't believe how small it was, we

couldn't get it on the mannequin. It is her favourite comment she made a

particularly tough for you this week? It is always tough, but in the

best way. The samba has been so detailed and intricate. The meetings

I can relate it to is the rumba and the chat chat, which have been

evenly spread. There has been a break in between all of them. So

when you come back to this one which is so technical, it is hard to pick

it up. It feels like it has a tiny bit of everything we have done in

it. I was so nervous. I looked at him and went, good luck. I am so

sorry, but good luck. How is he doing? Is he getting there? Yes. Has

it helped with the Cha Cha Cha. You have not done it since we won oh

dear, Oti's has her head in her hands. We have two swap and change

with the other partners. He was trying to lead me. I love it when

is going to go well. None of you couples are going to hear the music

until you are on the floor, so you have no idea of the speed of it. It

is terrifying? It is really strange. I can't get it in my head what we

is amazing how you can just smile and communicate whilst shouting at

Where earlier today Gethin only went and

nabbed an exclusive chat with Strictly's

I have been given a special pass into the gallery to have a chat with

the amazing director of Strictly Come Dancing, Nicky Parsons. Thank

you for having us in here I know it is a special place, what do you do

exactly? We are in the control room, so during the live show, I am based

in here. So everybody feeds back into this room, I am kind of in

charge, which makes me a bit scared. There are usually more people in

here, but they are having a well-deserved break. Does it get

easier throughout the series because otherwise you have 15 dances to

direct? In the first few weeks so many dances to get through and the

days are really long and the prep takes for ever. But as we lose a

couple every week on a easier, but then we end up going to Blackpool,

children in need special, Christmas Special. So it never really get

easier. You are doing the Christmas Special, make sure I look nice. You

also have a Group Dance, is that a challenge, so many things to see?

The most challenging thing on the programme is the Greek dances. What

you don't see is the most challenging part, so it is the

choreography of the cameras and the choreography of the prop smoothing

on and off the floor. People darting about out of shot. It would be

brilliant to see a wide shot and all these people running in and out and

it is my job to make sure you don't see that on television. A lot of it

is shown to dance to its best, but hiding everything else at the same

time. You have been doing this show 11 years, why do you love it so

much? It is proper family entertainment. I love people going

to me, what is going on on Strictly. The team have been here for such a

long time, we are like a big family. It certainly is like a family. There

are so many buttons to press on here, what happens if I press number

nine. Put it on a low light, it will be ready when I get home. Sorry, my

teenage son. If you thought Gangnam Style couldn't be top, you were

wrong. How about being lowered

into the Tower All in a night's work for this pair

of firecrackers, it's You came down there and you made it

rocked. It looked like a jive. You are committed.

Ed Balls approaches and we bow before him. That was an amazing

move. It was a Cha Cha. Great Balls of Fire -

surely Jerry Lee Lewis sang that song

with you in mind? It was an incredible performance,

everything we hoped it could be. The whole team of dances as well as

Katia, the dance really came to life. Up there on the piano on the

ceiling, it was a special thing. And it caught fire. You are so hot.

Smoking. I loved the quiff, by the way. We loved your frock. The piano

is on fire, the dance is on fire. Sadly you didn't quite set

the leaderboard alight. Why are the judges not rewarding

Ed with higher marks? Every week we are at the bottom of

the Leader Board. There was one week we were not just to be clear. We

don't mind, as long as people love it. We loved doing that routine.

We would like to get a seven from Craig and we would like to get to

30. There is more to do in terms of the scores. You do work very hard.

Craig did describe you as a city is. It means showing great care and

perseverance. I guess that is positive. Yes Kyle Abbott he gave us

four. How was it for you, Katya, winning championships? Lots of

memories at Blackpool, but firstly we never came down on the piano. It

was very different, totally different and it made my first year

special to be able to get there. Wonderful. Thank you for that. You

have been given a bit of a hard time this week, some people saying you

should have gone. You have dealt with it so graciously, hats off to.

How are you feeling about back? We are looking forward to the next

dance and trying to do our best every week. I was not the best

dancer in the beginning, I have never done it before. I wasn't the

youngest, but we are trying very hard, trying to get better every

week, trying to entertain. Katya's choreography is great. But every

week, the public want me to come back.

CHEERING AND APPLAUSE You are bringing us so much joy.

This week is a T, I Can't Get No Satisfaction. How much satisfaction

are we going to get? It is looking really good. It is a bit wild. To be

clear, the thing I was wearing was Katya's cardigan. We did wonder

about back. She had this big, fluffy coat. It is a jacket that will be

throw off so it is quite a mix we are doing tomorrow. The Rolling

Stones, I Can't Get No Satisfaction. I am also being a male model. It

includes a catwalk challenge. It doesn't get any better. Something

else rather brilliance, because we are spying on you at all times. We

have noticed Katya is a bit bossy in training, just a little bit. One,

two, down. Over, over. Six, seven. Six, open on six. You are cementing

your reputation as the most bossy person on Strictly Come Dancing

2016. Increase the arms. Look past my ear. Sometimes you are telling me

things, doesn't necessarily mean I have heard them. The most bossy

ever. Somebody said it's about getting

results. It's working. Good luck with your dancers tomorrow night. We

adore you, Ed and Katya! Right, time now to

see how Ore Joanne and Louise Kevin

have been getting on The Walt 's for me is a really tough

dance for some reason, I think it's because you have to just stay in

position. I think I like to go rogue and do my own thing sometimes. --

the Waltz. It's not flashy, there are technical aspects we have to get

right that will be very exposed. Trying to push things to as quickly

as possible with Louise. I'm not running it till it feels

comfortable, that I can feel I'm in the right position and feel I'm in

the wrong position, because right now it's blurring into one.

We are all about the paso and there's something about this dance

that makes you get on the edge of your seat. This is going to be a

little bit of a challenge, so we really, really need to work hard.

There is pressure, I think, to make sure this paso stands out. How,

we'll leave that up to Jo, I'm just here for the ride but I cannot wait.

Amazing! Look at you! Now, like the long-awaited

thawing of a great woolly mammoth

in a Siberian ice tomb, my next guest

finally got out his ten It was complete and absolute

disaster, darling! Whatever! They are really nasty,

then normally quite nice. As camp entrances go that was pretty

spectacular. You've thought, ice maiden, he gave his first ten. Well

done. I know, then I looked back at the Tate, darling, and saw something

wrong. I didn't see it on the night. You know what even that was one

small little hand action thing. It was so incredible. It had to be ten,

there was no doubt. If I had 9.9 It Takes Two it probably would have

been that. As I had to ten, it was so close, I had to do it, absolutely

brilliant. Do you know which point in the dance it ten? When I stop

writing, when I'm just involved in the dance completely and thinking,

oh my goodness, that is amazing. I mean, the syncopation, the timing of

everything was just exceptional. And totally on a professional level, I

mean, really stunning. I feel quite emotional. I'm really scared for him

tomorrow now. He has to follow that. I wouldn't like to. We have a fact

involving Craig. It's only the second time is given a ten before

week nine. Last time was in a series seven.

It was stunning, so elegant as a couple. Gorgeous. They ended up in a

relationship, didn't they? I don't think they are in it any more. Sadly

that failed. Lot have worked out, though. They have! Moving on...

Don't mention the war, darling. The other feel good news is you haven't

shown your number one paddle. I know! Is there any chance you might

be over marking? I did think that when the balls were coming out for

Ed Balls. I gave him six, its getting up there. He would really

love seven. I'm sure he would. It could happen. Miracles. We've seen

lots of things. We've had We've had the Quicksteppathon,

the Swingathon and the now all we have the

cha-cha-challenge. The judges have to confer. Do you get testy with

each other because it goes quickly? It does, it's quite alarming how

quickly we have to do it. We are fighting over one couple, only

because we put the couples there, then scoot them out. We have little

cards, throwing them in because you can't hear a thing. Everyone is

cheering. Complete chaos, and you're trying to watch the floor. And

someone is over there. Len and I rarely see eye to eye but through

that we really mucked in together and listen to Len and go for it. The

majority rules. I quite like seeing the squabble. It is a democracy.

It's done well for us this year. Last time you were here some of you

well-known friends said questions in a special edition of Ask Craig. Now

it's the turn of our lovely viewers. So many questions, let's scoot

what are your three top tips Well, talent, darling. Number one.

Getting the dance right, number two. And enjoying it, having fun and

making the dance live, which is to the acting, that's essential and

does it annoy you that the other judges never score below

a very occasional four? Yes. We have paddles, ranging 1-10.

And I like using the ones below four. I know you do. There are much

more interesting. Their reaction is always priced that. Sturridge

wants to know: if you could have partnered any celebrity

from any series, That is a good question, I think I

would like to do either the jive with Jill Halfpenny... So good.

an Argentine tango, I think that would be fun. It's a shame you're

going off because we could have got you and Gethin dancing. I know, we

dance partner, Gethin in Elstree. Blackpool is so last week, we're at

Elstree with some of the stars of the show. Can I ask you, Judge, it's

week ten, bit of a landmark week. Let's go back, what were your

expectations coming into the show, did you think you would get this

far? I don't thing we thought of it like that, you kind of prepare each

week. You don't think. There is not time or energy. I can't say what my

expectations were but I'm glad to be here. I loved Blackpool, I did. We

couldn't tell by your face at all. You couldn't, could you, it was

overwhelming. Next week is, dare I say, a journey in respect of each

dance. I don't think you have expectations beyond the dance at the

end. Think about the next week. You've talked a lot about hip

action, so important for the Rumble, how is it looking 24 hours before

the show? The hips are there, moving, I'm trying to give

directions to move where. We're working a lock on technique and the

rumba will be great. It's my chest, I've been walking around all week.

You were in the bottom two last week, have you come back fighting

this week? When we went back to the training room I said to AJ, I want

to just enjoy even more than what I was before, we've worked so hard on

the technique and AJ has been like, technique, technique all the time.

The footwork has been so critical. Sounds like you've been giving him a

hard time you posted a picture with you on the floor shattered. It's

your first Argentine tango. That's mad. First time I've done the

Argentine tango and the lifts are crazy so we've been doing it again

and again until I literally can't stand, as the photo showed. It is

difficult. You're an athlete, how is the fitness? Does it start feeling,

do you start feeling tired? I do feel really tired at this point, the

lifts are getting harder. Even though I've got a strong core, one

of the lifts I'm struggling to keep my legs up. It's really hard. I love

how you're walking funny, you're walking stranger. Best of luck with

The Strictly Pro Challenge is back, and bigger than ever. This year our

pros are going to attempt to set a Guinness world record for the most

jive kicks and flicks in 30 seconds. Judging alongside me will be top

choreographer Richard Marcel and Guinness world record adjudicator

Emma Davies. The kick and click is a quintessential jive step that

requires a lot of energy and conviction. We'll be looking for

strong, pointed kicks with a fast retraction and the feet returning to

the floor after the flick. If they don't bring the foot back to the

resting position, the step will be disqualified. This is going to be a

challenge of energy and endurance. There can only be one champion. So

they need to make every step count. Welcome to the Strictly Pro

Challenge 2016! That's welcome the next contender

are a Newby. When you heard the term Pro Challenge what did you think you

are getting involved in? I was so excited, I always wanted to do

Strictly. This is one of the things that would come up from It Takes

Two, when I got to do it I was like, yes. I was excited. How did you feel

when you found out it was jive kicks and flicks. Not so happy because

that week we had the jive. Danny and Oti were doing ice bath is every

single day because our legs were so heavy. Service Danny and I were

doing. When you get in there you really

bring it. Let's see how you got on. I've never attempted in my life to

set any record, though so I'm really excited, because it's the first

time, let's see how it goes, I'm hoping for the

best. Hello, Oti, welcome to the Pro Challenge. You are one of the newest

pros, do you have tactics? And going to stick to the rules, Titan Michael

Hoare and go as fast as I can. Good luck and take your position on the

floor. -- Titan might call. I'm going to count you in for the

record. Three, two, one... Go. Stop. That's horrible! You did well.

It was only 30 seconds, what's wrong with you, I thought dancers worth

it. I thought I was fit, too, apparently not. You held your

technique and went really fast with that. Really focused on it. I think

you're going to get a good result. Thank you. Because you are going so

fast and have to control it, it's quite difficult. I underestimated

it. I even did it in my Latin shoes because I thought it would be so

easy, but it was great fun. I love it, only halfway, you're

like, we're only halfway? How do you think you did? I do not know, I'm so

nervous. I think because I looked back and I complained to the whole

thing. I couldn't stop moaning. It's OK. You focused on tightening your

call. How important is that? Very important especially for girls and

dancers, we have really long legs and arms so when you use your

stomach muscles you can control everything. -- tightening the core.

That is how we get the speed. I'm trying to hold in my tummy. I wish I

could do that. I like cake. After each professional had made the

back could you see mistakes? I would never admit it. LAUGHTER

I think my toughest moment was at the beginning waiting to start my

waltz and thinking, what are you doing? When we did our first dance,

the judges' comments were about my choreography and I felt I had let

Ore down. It felt 1 million miles away from any kind of dancing I had

ever done before. To see Judge Rinder being disappointed at

something, because I always want to be there for him. Being in the dance

off was heartbreaking and going against one of your best friends,

that was the worst thing. The Viennese waltz, I didn't think I

could do it until the Friday. It just clicked and then became a

really special dance. The toughest moments have always created the most

amazing one. My best moment so far was I was able to dance with

Claudia. It is like nothing I can describe.

It felt like we were dancing as a couple.

The Argentine tango, I think that is the week Luiz really came out of

herself. show. I had no idea that she would give me such an incredible

time. Time to talk about the rest of our

couples. Welcome back Katy Brand, Dan and Miranda. Talking about Ore

and Joanne. Not too far behind Danny and Oti last weekend. Have impressed

where you with their Viennese waltz? I did really enjoy it. In times gone

by when I did the Strictly Christmas Special I did the Viennese waltz,

it's harder than it looks. That long spin they did in the middle I

actually thought it was a live version of buffering. I thought

Strictly was loading. And you heard Rian Joanne buffering. With a little

kick. There you go, refresh. They are brilliant, amazing. You know Ore

very well, you work with him, he's a bit of a softy. Is he going to be

tough enough to be that Matador and owned the floor? Definitely, he's a

brilliant actor. He's been spectacular. Everyone felt he'd be

good but I don't think we thought he would be quite as good as he would
