Once upon a time there were three
beautiful girls who went | 0:00:08 | 0:00:15
to the Strictly academy,
they were each assigned | 0:00:15 | 0:00:17
very hazardous dance routines. | 0:00:17 | 0:00:22
But tonight, I take
them away from all that | 0:00:40 | 0:00:43
and now they work for me. | 0:00:43 | 0:00:45
My name is Zoe. | 0:00:45 | 0:00:50

Hello and welcome to It Takes Two! | 0:02:11 | 0:02:13
Give it up for my independent women! | 0:02:13 | 0:02:14
There'll be more from them
and their partners later on. | 0:02:14 | 0:02:17
Plus, joining us on tonight's Friday
panel - Lisa Riley, comedian | 0:02:17 | 0:02:24
Tom Allen, and Martine McCutcheon. | 0:02:24 | 0:02:27
It will be a goodie. | 0:02:27 | 0:02:31
But back to business. | 0:02:31 | 0:02:38
It's Friday and I can
confirm we are only... | 0:02:38 | 0:02:40
away from the next live Strictly
show - so let's get cracking! | 0:02:40 | 0:02:43
First up, we sent our very own Welsh
wonder Gethin for another trip | 0:02:43 | 0:02:46
to Elstree this morning to report
on all the backstage gossip. | 0:02:46 | 0:02:49
Let's see what he's been up to. | 0:02:49 | 0:02:51
Welcome back to Elstree. Hallowe'en
is over, it's still scary stuff for | 0:02:51 | 0:02:53
our couples as they take to the
dance floor for their final | 0:02:53 | 0:02:55
rehearsals on a Friday. At the
moment, it's the tango. Let's take a | 0:02:55 | 0:03:02
look. | 0:03:02 | 0:03:06 | |
Debs flying high after last
Saturday. It was her birthday in the | 0:03:12 | 0:03:14
week. Will it be a good night
tomorrow, we will find out. I have | 0:03:14 | 0:03:21
plenty of people to catch up with.
I'll see you in a bit. Looking | 0:03:21 | 0:03:26
dashing tonight, Gethin. More from
him later in the show. | 0:03:26 | 0:03:31
Right, I think it's time
to meet our first guests, | 0:03:31 | 0:03:33
and the beast was certainly
unleashed during their | 0:03:33 | 0:03:35
Tango at the weekend. | 0:03:35 | 0:03:36
TIGER GROWL. | 0:03:36 | 0:03:39
Steady, girl. | 0:03:39 | 0:03:42
It's Maneater Alexandra
and the rather tasty Gorka! | 0:03:42 | 0:03:44
MUSIC: Maneater by Nelly Furtado. | 0:03:44 | 0:03:50
She's like a tigeress. He you attack
everything fearlessly. Every time | 0:03:50 | 0:03:57
you changed direction, terrifyingly
good. Sharp accents. I really and | 0:03:57 | 0:04:02
truly loved it.
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:04:02 | 0:04:08
# I want to dance with somebody
# I want to feel the heat with | 0:04:10 | 0:04:15

# Yeah, I want to dance with | 0:04:15 | 0:04:18
somebody
# With somebody who loves me... | 0:04:18 | 0:04:22
#. When you think you can't love
these two any more, they do that. So | 0:04:22 | 0:04:30
good. Lovely to see you both. Cool
me down, last weekend thats with a | 0:04:30 | 0:04:35
hot tango. It was unbelievable. How
much did you enjoy it? I loved. It I | 0:04:35 | 0:04:39
really loved. It I was nervous, I
will not lie. Making it to | 0:04:39 | 0:04:44
Hallowe'en week full stop, I was so
excited. I'm out of breath. I'm not | 0:04:44 | 0:04:48
fit! I had the best time. It was so
much fun. My nerves were a lot. It | 0:04:48 | 0:04:55
is like that every week. Have you
toen Chael positivity and go out and | 0:04:55 | 0:04:59
have the best time. You don't look
nervous. You - If only that was the | 0:04:59 | 0:05:04
case. The eyeball helped me hide
that. The one eyeball. Then it | 0:05:04 | 0:05:08
starts to move around. Gorka you
were hungry for top scores. The | 0:05:08 | 0:05:15
highest scoring tango of the series.
APPLAUSE | 0:05:15 | 0:05:21
Were you a happy boy? Very happy
boy. Not just for the scores. I was | 0:05:21 | 0:05:25
happy because of how she danced and
performed the number, ittic hakes me | 0:05:25 | 0:05:29
happy. The only thing I wanted her
was to be comfortable and feel good | 0:05:29 | 0:05:35
when she does the number. She was
happy. So, I'm happy. Everyone is | 0:05:35 | 0:05:39
happy. I'm happy. We are all a bit
more in love. Shirley said it was | 0:05:39 | 0:05:45
almost perfect. A tiny mistake. What
happened? Yeah. She went on the | 0:05:45 | 0:05:55
left, not the right. Whatever Gorka
says. I do what I'm told! Darren | 0:05:55 | 0:06:04

an old pro, in that moment when your | 0:06:04 | 0:06:07

whip. We never heard of that before. | 0:06:07 | 0:06:12
He said it's very difficult to do,
recover your partner. They have to | 0:06:12 | 0:06:17
have a good core and be good. Which
Alexandra is It's my job. We are a | 0:06:17 | 0:06:24
credit to each other and are
connected and have our bodies | 0:06:24 | 0:06:28
connected it makes it easier. When
you have a mistake something goes | 0:06:28 | 0:06:32
wrong you can help each other go in
place. That is what happens. Her | 0:06:32 | 0:06:36
body was connected to mine. I knew
where he was going. If he was sloppy | 0:06:36 | 0:06:41
it would be... Yes. Like a muppet.
You were thrown under his legs, | 0:06:41 | 0:06:52
again. Again! She love it. I will
put you through my legs I'm like - | 0:06:52 | 0:07:02
let's go, babes! I will put it in
the Cha Cha Cha tomorrow. It's the | 0:07:02 | 0:07:07
arm bit tomorrow. Don't do that.
Which arm? Whatever one he wants to | 0:07:07 | 0:07:12
do. I go with the flow. Flow. He
always smells amazing. Trust me. | 0:07:12 | 0:07:26
Looks good, smells good - nightmare
for you Alexandra! Your sister was | 0:07:26 | 0:07:36
in the audience last week. Yes. What
did she make of it? It was her first | 0:07:36 | 0:07:41
show. She has been away and not
available to come. She loved it and | 0:07:41 | 0:07:46
had the best time. She said as a
family it's what they look forward | 0:07:46 | 0:07:50
to every Saturday night. We are
focussing on it as a family. It's a | 0:07:50 | 0:07:54
dream for us as a family. I cannot
thank the public enough for their | 0:07:54 | 0:07:58
support and keeping us in. We are
having the best experience. I know. | 0:07:58 | 0:08:01
We are all having the best
experience watching you, I have to | 0:08:01 | 0:08:04
say. Tomorrow you are dancing to a
disco classic. One of of my | 0:08:04 | 0:08:09
favourite records ever. | 0:08:09 | 0:08:11
# I got the music in me

him. I like it? It's you, guys. Yes. | 0:08:23 | 0:08:31
APPLAUS
So, so good. That is I Got The Music | 0:08:31 | 0:08:37
In Me. Has she the Cha Cha Cha in
her? Cha Cha Cha Cha is one of the | 0:08:37 | 0:08:43
most difficult dances in the show
for the girls because they wear | 0:08:43 | 0:08:47
heels. Have to have straight legs
and it's fast. She impressed me on | 0:08:47 | 0:08:51
the first day. I think she's doing
really well. Thank you. I'm quite | 0:08:51 | 0:08:56
excited for tomorrow. Here she is in
the training room. Ladies and | 0:08:56 | 0:08:59
gentlemen are you excited by what
you are seeing? Yes, you are. How | 0:08:59 | 0:09:03
are you feeling? I'm scared, I won't
lie. I'm having the best time. | 0:09:03 | 0:09:07
Actually, it's one of the dances
where I'm so comfortable. I feel | 0:09:07 | 0:09:13
really comfortable doing it. I said
to Gorka yesterday in rehearsal, we | 0:09:13 | 0:09:17
were rehearsing late, if all fails I
will go out with a smile on my face | 0:09:17 | 0:09:21
I want to have the best time. I feel
it, we are at this point in the show | 0:09:21 | 0:09:25
where we have a great connection. We
have built a wonderful friendship. I | 0:09:25 | 0:09:28
just want to do you proud and just
have fun. I think he's quite proud. | 0:09:28 | 0:09:32
He seems quite happy. He's happy!
That's good. I am. If there were | 0:09:32 | 0:09:37
worries about this dance what would
it be? Some people have struggled | 0:09:37 | 0:09:42
this year. Alexandra says she like
this is one. She likes it. It suits | 0:09:42 | 0:09:46
her and the music suits her. The
music is cool cool. You need to like | 0:09:46 | 0:09:55
the theme. We in a jazz club. | 0:09:55 | 0:09:59
It's a role. He says - go out there
and be yourself. Be the singer that | 0:10:02 | 0:10:07
you are. I said what are you then?
He said - I'm just a piano player. | 0:10:07 | 0:10:13
He's playing himself! Good luck with
it. Storm it, you beauties. | 0:10:13 | 0:10:20
Alexandra and Gorka.
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:10:20 | 0:10:33
Now, I think we can all agree,
our Strictly pros have delivered | 0:10:33 | 0:10:36
some sensational group
numbers this series. | 0:10:36 | 0:10:37
But what lies in store
for tomorrow's Prince | 0:10:37 | 0:10:39
themed extravaganza? | 0:10:39 | 0:10:40
Will there be Diamonds and Pearls? | 0:10:40 | 0:10:42
Doves crying? | 0:10:42 | 0:10:43
Little red corvettes? | 0:10:43 | 0:10:44
Purple Rain? | 0:10:44 | 0:10:45
I think it's time to find out! | 0:10:45 | 0:10:46
Take a look at this. | 0:10:46 | 0:10:48
This week we are dancing like it's
1999. Is it new year's. I love new | 0:10:48 | 0:10:55
year's. No. This week's group dance
is a tribute to pop legend Prince! | 0:10:55 | 0:11:00
Ah. Let's go. The style of dance is
a fusion. I'm not from the ballroom | 0:11:00 | 0:11:05
world. I do hip-hop, animation and
breaking, those type of dance moves. | 0:11:05 | 0:11:11
I love putting them together with
the Cha Cha and the Jive. I fuse the | 0:11:11 | 0:11:17
styles together because I feel
that's the perfect way to pay | 0:11:17 | 0:11:20
tribute to Prince. He was a style in
his own. The choreography is | 0:11:20 | 0:11:24
amazing. Instead of our boys
sometimes we've got this prop. A | 0:11:24 | 0:11:29
partner section with a third partner
being the door frame. A lot of | 0:11:29 | 0:11:33
back-and-forth between the guy and
the girl and the door frame. It's a | 0:11:33 | 0:11:37
little crazy. This is a great
section. This is when Purple Rain | 0:11:37 | 0:11:41
kicks in. I get to dance with my
wife - purple and rain. We are. | 0:11:41 | 0:11:48
Purple Rain. We have umbrellas as
well which is tricky. We throw it up | 0:11:48 | 0:11:56
and we have to catch it. Flipping
it, dancing on them. Everything | 0:11:56 | 0:11:59
could go wrong. We all love doing
different styles, different steps. | 0:11:59 | 0:12:04
It's always good to learn. We all
love Prince. We love dancing to it. | 0:12:04 | 0:12:07
I can't wait. Sadly, that is all the
time we have. I'm going to get into | 0:12:07 | 0:12:15
my little red corvette and head
home. Make sure you don't miss this | 0:12:15 | 0:12:20
performance this weekend. Opening
umbrellas inside - naughty. | 0:12:20 | 0:12:28
Now it wouldn't be a Friday
without my next guests, | 0:12:28 | 0:12:30
once again we have scoured
the nation to find three | 0:12:30 | 0:12:33
of Strictly's biggest
super fans, who just | 0:12:33 | 0:12:34
so happen to be celebrities. | 0:12:34 | 0:12:36
Let's go crazy for Lisa Riley,
Tom Allen and Martine McCutcheon! | 0:12:36 | 0:12:40

excited to see you all. Martine,
looking gorgeous. Thank you. We have | 0:12:57 | 0:13:03
made it to the halfway point of
Strictly. Yes. We are giddy. Yes. | 0:13:03 | 0:13:07
What are you making of it at this
stage? This is the exciting bit for | 0:13:07 | 0:13:11
me. Basically everybody ups their
game they want to be in Blackpool. | 0:13:11 | 0:13:16
This is it. Let's see the good bits
now. Exciting stuff. Thom. Hello. | 0:13:16 | 0:13:25
Exciting to have you I am too here.
. It must be wonderful for you. Your | 0:13:25 | 0:13:30
mum is here? Yes and auntie. They
have taken a sedative. Don't look at | 0:13:30 | 0:13:36
them. I didn't know you could bring
You can bring family. Whoever you | 0:13:36 | 0:13:40
want - they are desperate. Who
impressed you the most? I'm glad you | 0:13:40 | 0:13:48
asked that Zoe. Debbie, we are all
taken be aback. Alold fashioned | 0:13:48 | 0:13:54
showbusiness. She puts the work. In
how did she end that dance last week | 0:13:54 | 0:13:58
with her legs in the air. I couldn't
do that! She's really brought it. I | 0:13:58 | 0:14:04
didn't can't even do a sumba class.
Susan Calman, a friend of mine - She | 0:14:04 | 0:14:11
is brilliant. She works hard. Never
done dancing before. She is bringing | 0:14:11 | 0:14:16
it. Doing amazing dancing. Super
impressed. Lisa is back. | 0:14:16 | 0:14:23
APPLAUSE
Dancing with Robin in series 11. We | 0:14:23 | 0:14:28
will start with Debbie and Giovanni.
They are doing the Tango this | 0:14:28 | 0:14:32
weekend to I Got A Feeling by the
Black Eyed Peas. Martine, top of the | 0:14:32 | 0:14:41
leaderboard last week, can this
Tango keep them? 1 hurn %. I think | 0:14:41 | 0:14:45
she's just so naturally graceful.
Some things you can't learn. She has | 0:14:45 | 0:14:50
those lines that we would all die
for when you are dancing. She's just | 0:14:50 | 0:14:53
got it. I think she will deliver
every week. I think they could win | 0:14:53 | 0:14:57
it. She said it, she said it! I do,
I do. It could happen. Aston and | 0:14:57 | 0:15:02
Janette next. Viennese Waltz for
them. They are dancing to the | 0:15:02 | 0:15:07
Jacksons. Famous for their Waltz of
course! Thank you for Sayfulloing | 0:15:07 | 0:15:13
that Tom, we were thinking that.
Here they are in training. This was | 0:15:13 | 0:15:18
your lowest scoring dance - Week 2.
How dare I. What do you make of | 0:15:18 | 0:15:22
these two? Brilliant. Once you have
the spins together and you can cope | 0:15:22 | 0:15:28
with the dissinessness. They have my
pocket rockets. I get excited when I | 0:15:28 | 0:15:33
see them. He is growing and growing,
he loves abouting there. They will | 0:15:33 | 0:15:37
nail it. Everything they do turn it
turns to gold. . Very excited. I'm | 0:15:37 | 0:15:44
quite sweaty. They have a 70s Barber
Shop's theme. Does that excite you, | 0:15:44 | 0:15:50
Tom? No! | 0:15:50 | 0:15:51
LAUGHTER
I love watching Debbie, and I know a | 0:15:56 | 0:16:02
little bit about ballroom dancing
because I did go to lessons, above a | 0:16:02 | 0:16:06
supermarket... Oh, God, here we go,
the expert... I am a bit of an | 0:16:06 | 0:16:14
expert. If you go to a ballroom
dancing lesson you end up dancing | 0:16:14 | 0:16:16
with quite a lot of older women, who
think they are Edith, which is fine, | 0:16:16 | 0:16:21
but every time I watch daddy I am
blown away, how did she get those | 0:16:21 | 0:16:27
legs! And Bruno's face in the
background! I think whatever the | 0:16:27 | 0:16:33
music is she will be fine. | 0:16:33 | 0:16:36
Ruth and Anton up next - | 0:16:36 | 0:16:41
how do you think they'll
do dancing the paso doble? | 0:16:41 | 0:16:43
MUSIC: The Shady Dame

Ruth will be channelling
the Shady Dame From Seville - | 0:16:46 | 0:16:48
are you looking forward to it? | 0:16:48 | 0:16:49
How do you think they will do with
the paso doble, Martine? I just | 0:16:49 | 0:16:53
think Ruth is superwoman across the
board. She has so many jobs, that | 0:16:53 | 0:16:59
woman, 18 jobs or so on the go! We
know her. She still has time to go | 0:16:59 | 0:17:05
home and have a gin and make it all
easy, doesn't she? She is absolutely | 0:17:05 | 0:17:11
brilliant and I just think that she
loves Anton, loves her dancers, and | 0:17:11 | 0:17:15
the fact she enjoys it so much will
make improved every week. So good! | 0:17:15 | 0:17:21
Moving onto Mollie and AJ's foxtrot
- she loves ballroom. | 0:17:21 | 0:17:26
To Call Me Irresponsible. An old
classic, Lisa. | 0:17:26 | 0:17:32
Are you loving
the look of this? | 0:17:32 | 0:17:36
Yes, the was come across, and she
always looks so safe in AJ's arms. I | 0:17:36 | 0:17:43
think she will bring it on the dance
floor. The right dance to up her | 0:17:43 | 0:17:50
game, definitely. OK. | 0:17:50 | 0:17:53
Jonnie and Oti. | 0:17:53 | 0:17:59
Tong, they are doing a salsa. I
always think of the sauce, you know, | 0:17:59 | 0:18:12
Susan and Kevin doing a guacamole
next week! | 0:18:12 | 0:18:14
LAUGHTER | 0:18:14 | 0:18:16
They dipped down the leaderboard
this week with 20 points. | 0:18:16 | 0:18:18
Do you think he can pull it
back with the salsa? | 0:18:18 | 0:18:22
We all enjoyed watching him but I
think it is difficult to do any kind | 0:18:22 | 0:18:25
of romantic dance, when you... It is
hardly Buena Sarries, is it? | 0:18:25 | 0:18:31
LAUGHTER
I am sure they will do a great job | 0:18:31 | 0:18:34
and we will all pretend it is
lovely. . | 0:18:34 | 0:18:35
LAUGHTER
Martine, could this be the perfect | 0:18:35 | 0:18:43
moment? Of course it will be. I'm
going to be positive, optimistic | 0:18:43 | 0:18:52
about it all, we all love trier, and
I think they will come back this | 0:18:52 | 0:18:56
week. Please come back in about 15
minute s' time. | 0:18:56 | 0:19:00
Brilliant stuff - give it up
for our Friday panel! | 0:19:00 | 0:19:04
Now, it's not all fun and games
here at It Takes Two - oh, no! | 0:19:04 | 0:19:07
There's one thing we
take very seriously... | 0:19:07 | 0:19:09
Eyes down, everyone -
it's time for Ballroom Bingo! | 0:19:09 | 0:19:17
Good evening, Strictly fans. Is
down, because it is time for | 0:19:17 | 0:19:21
Ballroom Bingo! -- eyes down.
Clickety click, 66. Which pro has | 0:19:21 | 0:19:35
the most... Attitude? I will say
Karen. Karen is the queen of sass. I | 0:19:35 | 0:19:55
will say Oti. Oti, she will tell you
right away. It's the dancing Queen, | 0:19:55 | 0:20:06
number 17. Which pro is the best
dancer? Anton du Beke is the best. I | 0:20:06 | 0:20:16
really like Paschall's style. If I
see myself, that just looks | 0:20:16 | 0:20:26
arrogant... What a silly question.
Me! I am going to have to see | 0:20:26 | 0:20:33
myself. I would say that Neil is the
best answer. That's your lot, folks! | 0:20:33 | 0:20:42
But remember, keep spinning!
STUDIO: Thank you, Mr du Beke! | 0:20:42 | 0:20:56
Right, let's go to
the training room now | 0:20:56 | 0:20:58
and find out how Mollie and AJ and
Ruth and Anton are getting along. | 0:20:58 | 0:21:01
Oh, my goodness, I love the foxtrot,
it feels so good, romantic, like you | 0:21:01 | 0:21:05
are in a film from the 40s
something. It reminds me of my | 0:21:05 | 0:21:10
grandparents. I don't think it is
very hard, but when you get it, you | 0:21:10 | 0:21:14
can slow read this room with this
beautiful foxtrot. This week we have | 0:21:14 | 0:21:19
put in as many hours as always.
Fantastic. Here to really an hour | 0:21:19 | 0:21:24
mark this week. You just stopped...
LAUGHTER | 0:21:24 | 0:21:36
I am loving the paso doble, so
passionate and fiery, so this week I | 0:21:36 | 0:21:41
have to stop being self-conscious
and I have to give it. I love the | 0:21:41 | 0:21:45
paso doble, for the simple reason it
is the closest of all the Latin | 0:21:45 | 0:21:50
dances the ballroom dancers, so for
me it feels like a proper dance. I | 0:21:50 | 0:21:57
am a fierce and fearless woman in
this, and my husband would say I can | 0:21:57 | 0:22:02
be quite fierce, so I will just
think of him! | 0:22:02 | 0:22:07
Eamonn Holmes, grrr extract just
joking, I love him. | 0:22:07 | 0:22:13
Now considering Gethin gets
an access all areas pass | 0:22:13 | 0:22:15
during his adventures around
Elstree... | 0:22:15 | 0:22:17
It's funny really that he always
ends in up wardrobe. | 0:22:17 | 0:22:20
Let's see what he got up to. | 0:22:20 | 0:22:22
Walking through the corridors, and
it just feels a little more empty | 0:22:22 | 0:22:25
than usual. We are doing and Anton,
but it feels a little different this | 0:22:25 | 0:22:32
week the usual? Yes, fewer people.
Scary... I was going to say, does it | 0:22:32 | 0:22:41
add a little when you know the end
is near? Blackpool, two weeks away? | 0:22:41 | 0:22:47
Is it two weeks? Like you didn't
know! Do you know what, I must say | 0:22:47 | 0:22:52
even though it feels like we are
halfway, there is still half left. | 0:22:52 | 0:22:57
It is not like we have done every
possible. You would think there is a | 0:22:57 | 0:23:03
lot more to do. I recognise him!
Years from Strictly Come Dancing. | 0:23:03 | 0:23:09
How's it going, AJ? I'm very well,
thanks. Are you ready for tomorrow? | 0:23:09 | 0:23:13
And ready for the studio now. Can I
get a selfie? I was just chatting to | 0:23:13 | 0:23:19
the boys about tomorrow night. Well
you are doing that selfie... Both of | 0:23:19 | 0:23:26
your music tracks, a sensation. What
a piece to dance to, Natalie Cole? I | 0:23:26 | 0:23:32
have trained next to Anton couple of
times and have been hearing what he | 0:23:32 | 0:23:35
has as well so I think we will be
having a bit of song-off, who has | 0:23:35 | 0:23:40
the coolest song this week. And
Michael Jackson. I do really love | 0:23:40 | 0:23:44
that music. By the dancers looking
good? Well, I have seen my dance and | 0:23:44 | 0:23:53
it is looking pretty amazing!
LAUGHTER | 0:23:53 | 0:23:56
Just show me the first step, whilst
we finish this... I know you have | 0:23:56 | 0:24:00
plenty to do before... Thank you,
lovely stuff. Back to you. Not a bad | 0:24:00 | 0:24:09
lift! It takes a team to lift the...
I love the fact they just did a | 0:24:09 | 0:24:13
selfie during the interview! | 0:24:13 | 0:24:15
Right, who would like to
meet our next couple? | 0:24:15 | 0:24:18
They managed to tame a dragon
with their fiery foxtrot, | 0:24:18 | 0:24:21
but unfortunately the same couldn't
be said for the judges. | 0:24:21 | 0:24:23
Bow down - it's Susan and Kevin! | 0:24:23 | 0:24:32
Trying to maintain those shoulders,
you were keeping it down, I could | 0:24:32 | 0:24:35
see you were working on that yet. It
lacked grace and elegance, not your | 0:24:35 | 0:24:40
best dance for needed a -- working
on that neck. Always fun to watch | 0:24:40 | 0:24:48
you. You always give it 110%. | 0:24:48 | 0:24:59
I love a fine entrance! Hello, you
gorgeous two. I tell you what. | 0:25:02 | 0:25:12
You certainly lived up to the title
of 'Queen of Dragons' - | 0:25:12 | 0:25:15
there was flying, fire
and a fierce new look! | 0:25:15 | 0:25:17
He did it feel when it all came
together out on the floor? It felt | 0:25:17 | 0:25:21
amazing, wonderful, Halloween night
on Strictly, we did in a big | 0:25:21 | 0:25:25
performance, I was dancing with
Kevin Clifton, it was unbelievable | 0:25:25 | 0:25:28
and I loved every second. Aw! We
loved it, didn't we? | 0:25:28 | 0:25:32
APPLAUSE | 0:25:32 | 0:25:36
Strong wig game from you too -
gave Ruth a run for her money! | 0:25:36 | 0:25:43
But how much did you enjoy it out
there on the floor? You know I love | 0:25:43 | 0:25:47
dressing up! As soon as Halloween or
any of the theme weeks come on I | 0:25:47 | 0:25:51
think, what can we dress up as, the
first thought in my mind. When we | 0:25:51 | 0:25:55
first met, when all the pros and
celebs meet each other, chatting | 0:25:55 | 0:25:58
away, it transpired we were both
entered Game of Thrones and we | 0:25:58 | 0:26:03
thought, yeah, imagine if we
partnered together, we can do a Game | 0:26:03 | 0:26:06
of Thrones theme! Dreams can come
true! | 0:26:06 | 0:26:09 | |
LAUGHTER | 0:26:09 | 0:26:16
But let's talk about your foxtrot -
some rather harsh comments | 0:26:16 | 0:26:18
from the judges. | 0:26:18 | 0:26:19
What's your take on their critique? | 0:26:19 | 0:26:21
That hurts? The strange thing is
they said it needed more grace, and | 0:26:21 | 0:26:27
it may surprise you to know that
Grace is my middle name. No, | 0:26:27 | 0:26:33
literally, Grace is my middle name,
which is a shame... But we are in | 0:26:33 | 0:26:38
Strictly Come Dancing, the judges
are part of the competition. They | 0:26:38 | 0:26:41
didn't like what we did last week,
but they will love what we do this | 0:26:41 | 0:26:45
week. They will! I like it. I love
the fact you came to Susan's defence | 0:26:45 | 0:26:52
as well. So much support for you. | 0:26:52 | 0:26:55
Lisa Mitchell wrote online: | 0:26:55 | 0:26:58
"Susan, you and Kevin
are the definition of | 0:26:58 | 0:27:01
what we love about Strictly! | 0:27:01 | 0:27:04
You were amazing,
joyful, perfection!" | 0:27:04 | 0:27:05
APPLAUSE | 0:27:05 | 0:27:08
I think it's clear how much Susan
loves dancing on the show - | 0:27:08 | 0:27:19
that must be an utter joy a for you,
Kevin, when creating routines? | 0:27:21 | 0:27:25
Yes, I think we clicked
straightaway. Like I said, when we | 0:27:25 | 0:27:29
first met each other and met all the
celebs, Susan and I clicked and were | 0:27:29 | 0:27:34
very chatty straightaway. We were
the same sort of stuff, and started | 0:27:34 | 0:27:38
working off each other. We sort of
go, oh, do you like this? We could | 0:27:38 | 0:27:44
do this, do that, we both get
excited about it all. Then we both | 0:27:44 | 0:27:49
get excited about the number, then
she throws herself into every single | 0:27:49 | 0:27:53
number, and every day is just an
absolute joy working with Susan. I'm | 0:27:53 | 0:27:58
absolutely loving this series. And
we can feel that and that is a | 0:27:58 | 0:28:02
joyful thing. I want to join in too! | 0:28:02 | 0:28:11
So just like the Bee Gees,
let's get to some jive talking! | 0:28:11 | 0:28:14
You're dancing to this
Shakin' Stevens classic... | 0:28:14 | 0:28:16
MUSIC: This Ole House
by Shakin' Stevens | 0:28:16 | 0:28:18
The first single you ever bought?
Yes, it reminds me of school discos, | 0:28:18 | 0:28:22
Panda pop. Well, who doesn't love a
bit of Shakin; Stevens, lots of good | 0:28:22 | 0:28:31
memories for people, a brilliant
track, a lovely fun jive for people | 0:28:31 | 0:28:36
to watch on a Saturday night. Kevin,
are you happy with how things have | 0:28:36 | 0:28:40
gone this week? I'm really happy. I
think training has gone brilliant. | 0:28:40 | 0:28:45
We have it two weeks whether judges
have been quite hard on our dances. | 0:28:45 | 0:28:49
Look at those kicks, the bones and
the slide? I am really happy with | 0:28:49 | 0:28:55
how it was going, but then I was
really happy over the last two | 0:28:55 | 0:28:57
weeks... The main thing is on you
know, I have done a lot of things in | 0:28:57 | 0:29:04
my life, but a lot of other people
have liked it as well, although some | 0:29:04 | 0:29:07
haven't. It is personal taste. It is
like coriander! It is, yes, I'm a | 0:29:07 | 0:29:15
huge fan!
LAUGHTER | 0:29:15 | 0:29:17
Perfectly demonstrated. I believe
there is a little theme... Some kind | 0:29:17 | 0:29:31
of DIY? Well, after last week's Game
of Thrones we are downscaling it to | 0:29:31 | 0:29:37
a painter and decorator, painting a
wall, then we do our wee jive. Of | 0:29:37 | 0:29:44
course you do! Those two things go
together perfectly. | 0:29:44 | 0:29:51
Now Kevin, we love your impressions,
but from the looks of things you're | 0:29:51 | 0:29:54
not content with just impersonating
the mighty Ballas - | 0:29:54 | 0:29:56
take a look at this... | 0:29:56 | 0:30:02
Susan Calman and Kevin Clifton...
Kevin Clifton... Kevin Clifton. | 0:30:02 | 0:30:08
Dancing the Viennese waltz, the
cha-cha-cha, foxtrot... Dancing the | 0:30:08 | 0:30:16
foxtrot! Dancing the Viennese waltz!
LAUGHTER Rolling her eyes when I | 0:30:16 | 0:30:32
turn my back. You said you were
really enjoying dancing with me. | 0:30:32 | 0:30:36
What have we started? ! Good luck
tomorrow. We adore the two of you. | 0:30:36 | 0:30:41
Susan and Kevin. Thank you.
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:30:41 | 0:30:45
That is a good eye roll. | 0:30:45 | 0:30:50
We've got something
new for you all now! | 0:30:50 | 0:30:52
As we all know, our pros are some
of the best in the business, | 0:30:52 | 0:30:56
but what have been their personal
highlights while | 0:30:56 | 0:30:57
working on Strictly? | 0:30:57 | 0:30:59
Let's find out as Pasha talks us
through his Strictly CV. | 0:30:59 | 0:31:01
Ladies and gentlemen, please give it
up for the new boy on the Strictly | 0:31:01 | 0:31:04
block, Pasha. Becoming a pro dancer
on Strictly in 2011 was an amazing | 0:31:04 | 0:31:10
opportunity. When I walked on the
Strictly stage for the first time, I | 0:31:10 | 0:31:14
was a little bit nervous, but
dancing with all the pro girls, not | 0:31:14 | 0:31:18
a bad way to start, isn't it? ! My
first partner was Chelsea, very | 0:31:18 | 0:31:30
bumibly and energetic, talented and
capable in dance. The only thing I | 0:31:30 | 0:31:33
had to work on is to understand her
accent. I'm knackerd now! Going into | 0:31:33 | 0:31:45
my first Strictly final felt
amazing. It was the hardest week of | 0:31:45 | 0:31:49
our Strictly experience where you
have to deliver no matter what your | 0:31:49 | 0:31:53
best performance. That was
dramatically romantic. You have | 0:31:53 | 0:31:57
you've been a joy to watch this
entire series. One of my favourite | 0:31:57 | 0:32:03
dances on Strictly came in 2012 when
I was paired up with lovely Kimberly | 0:32:03 | 0:32:09
Walsh.
For me as a choreographer the fusion | 0:32:09 | 0:32:16
of Cha Cha Cha and Tango it was
technically demanding, but we got | 0:32:16 | 0:32:21
40! Dance of the season so far. We
lost out in the final, but managed | 0:32:21 | 0:32:29
to stay great friend over the years.
She still comes to watch me dance | 0:32:29 | 0:32:33
every year with her mum. In 2013 I
was partnered up with beautiful | 0:32:33 | 0:32:39
Rachel Riley. I was really gutted
when we left the competition, but | 0:32:39 | 0:32:45
our chemistry developed into
something else and we're still | 0:32:45 | 0:32:49
together now and still dancing.
Caroline Flack, Series 12, the | 0:32:49 | 0:32:58
golden year. From the first moment
of meeting Caroline, I knew she had | 0:32:58 | 0:33:01
a lot of potential, but she lacked
confidence. Starting from the Week 1 | 0:33:01 | 0:33:08
she thought that everyone else was
so much better than her. I think | 0:33:08 | 0:33:14
Jive in Blackpool finally made
Caroline believe in herself as a | 0:33:14 | 0:33:19
dancer and from there on no-one
could stop her. That was class, fast | 0:33:19 | 0:33:25
and you're built to last! The Show
Dance in the Final will always stand | 0:33:25 | 0:33:30
out to me. It was quite a risky
contemporary rumba and Caroline was | 0:33:30 | 0:33:38
going through a lot in her personal
life and I thought it would be a | 0:33:38 | 0:33:42
great idea to transform what she
felt into dance. Pasha, you are a | 0:33:42 | 0:33:49
brave man and that was full of
risks, just gorgeous storytelling. | 0:33:49 | 0:33:57
We were the fist couple to receive
all perfect scores in all the dances | 0:33:57 | 0:34:00
in the final. Unbelievable. | 0:34:00 | 0:34:04
When they announced our names, I
think it took a split second for it | 0:34:06 | 0:34:09
to sink in. Caroline and Pasha!
That's us - yes. That is us. We | 0:34:09 | 0:34:18
lifted that Glitterball up - it's
quite heavy, by the way. Every | 0:34:18 | 0:34:23
celebrity is so different and
figuring out how to unlock their | 0:34:23 | 0:34:27
dance potential, it's quite a tricky
thing. When you leave the | 0:34:27 | 0:34:32
competition, you can't help but feel
that you've let your partner down. | 0:34:32 | 0:34:38
It's never the case, but you start
thinking - what could I have done | 0:34:38 | 0:34:41
better? That's just the nature of
being a Strictly pro. | 0:34:41 | 0:34:46
Being on Strictly, it's like being a
part of a family. It's such a | 0:34:56 | 0:35:00
special part of my life. | 0:35:00 | 0:35:05
Gorgeous. That dance with Caroline,
amazing. | 0:35:09 | 0:35:14
Right, time now to get our teeth
stuck into tonight's final couple. | 0:35:14 | 0:35:17
They had a lot at "stake"
with their vampy jive | 0:35:17 | 0:35:19
at the weekend - luckily for them
it was "fangtastic"! | 0:35:19 | 0:35:22
It's Gemma and Aljaz. | 0:35:22 | 0:35:28
There was so much content in that
dance. Very, very difficult. Very, | 0:35:28 | 0:35:33
very fast. There were some mistakes
at the beginning when you started | 0:35:33 | 0:35:37
off, you got on the wrong foot. I've
got to congratulate you on the | 0:35:37 | 0:35:42
spins, good amount of retraction. It
was great. | 0:35:42 | 0:35:49
# I want to know, if you'll be my
girl | 0:35:54 | 0:35:59 | |
#. Hello you naughty twosome. I can
hear you being naughty at the back. | 0:35:59 | 0:36:05
Never! Always. That was not us. No
that was Debbie... As the kids would | 0:36:05 | 0:36:14
say you slayed - It's my mum. Hold
on. Mum! So sorry. Very funny. I'm | 0:36:14 | 0:36:27
not allowed it here any more. Very,
very funny. As I was saying... You | 0:36:27 | 0:36:34
slayed that dance, it was amazing.
Look at you go. So incredible. How | 0:36:34 | 0:36:38
was it for you, Gemma? It wasn't the
best one for me. I did really enjoy. | 0:36:38 | 0:36:43
It I for got the beginning of the
routine. Watching it back on TV you | 0:36:43 | 0:36:47
couldn't see that much. How it felt
to how it looked was different. I | 0:36:47 | 0:36:52
was disa-appointed I was gutted,
really. What happened? That moment | 0:36:52 | 0:36:59
where you forgot it? I was supposed
to walk towards him and do four | 0:36:59 | 0:37:04
little steps I walked towards him
and went - he just grabbed me. He | 0:37:04 | 0:37:10
just went - twist! Hallowe'en! Let's
do hands. What do you learn from | 0:37:10 | 0:37:19
that? You were facing each other at
the beginning. What do you do when | 0:37:19 | 0:37:23
it happens to your partner to help
them recover? From now we will not | 0:37:23 | 0:37:28
turn away from each other - EVER.
No! Just be normal! We will take all | 0:37:28 | 0:37:40
the turns out. Ballroom hold will be
funny as we will be looking at each | 0:37:40 | 0:37:44
other. It was a split moment of...
Panic. Panic actually. The Jive, I | 0:37:44 | 0:37:54
put every single step there was in
there. There was a lot. There was. | 0:37:54 | 0:37:58
To go wrong at the beginning.
Impressive to pick it up from making | 0:37:58 | 0:38:03
a mistake in the dance as fast as
that to f forget about it and | 0:38:03 | 0:38:07
deliver a smashing, smashing Jive.
Smashing Jive. BOOM! Bruno said it | 0:38:07 | 0:38:15
was proper full on jazz. Craig loved
your retraction and your energy as | 0:38:15 | 0:38:19
well. He's constantly naughty. What
are you doing? They are great | 0:38:19 | 0:38:26
things. Your best Jive score you've
got. Was it? Yes. He has never got | 0:38:26 | 0:38:35
so high. The others must have been
terrible then! If that was your best | 0:38:35 | 0:38:45
score! You were excited about going
through, I love this reaction. So, | 0:38:45 | 0:38:50
so good. I think we might have
slo-moed it. Is I get scared. Yes, | 0:38:50 | 0:39:01
yes. You are going in gently. Do you
always get that excited about | 0:39:01 | 0:39:05
things? Yeah. No matter how good or
bad you dance on the night, no | 0:39:05 | 0:39:09
matter what the comments are, it's
people who vote. I would never say - | 0:39:09 | 0:39:14
we are safe, we are through. I would
never do that. You genuinely never | 0:39:14 | 0:39:18
know. When you are stood waiting
it's horrible. When you are called, | 0:39:18 | 0:39:22
you have been waiting so long you
feel so grateful. It's literally I'm | 0:39:22 | 0:39:26
chuffed all the time. I'm squeezing
him to death. She is so strong. Are | 0:39:26 | 0:39:37
you excited about your Salsa? Yes I
like it. It's difficult. They all | 0:39:37 | 0:39:41
are. Every week is difficult.
Everything you learnt the previous | 0:39:41 | 0:39:45
week you drilled into your head you
have to forget about and start | 0:39:45 | 0:39:49
afresh. It's a great song, fun and
we start facing each other. | 0:39:49 | 0:39:56
I hear there is a polynesian theme.
This isn't actually your music that | 0:39:58 | 0:40:04
you are dancing to. This is the
music you are dancing to. That's not | 0:40:04 | 0:40:08
the music they are dancing to. I
like that song, by the way. How has | 0:40:08 | 0:40:13
training gone this week? Really
good. I like the Salsa it's about | 0:40:13 | 0:40:20
fun. There is not much technique.
First week, three lifts. We are | 0:40:20 | 0:40:27
going to say - Telling me you are
lifting Aljaz. I feel #15i8 safer | 0:40:27 | 0:40:35
lifting him. How have you found
them? OK. Difficult putting your | 0:40:35 | 0:40:37
trust in someone to throw you
around. He's not dropped me, which | 0:40:37 | 0:40:43
is great. A bit bruised. You get
used to it. Thank you for trusting | 0:40:43 | 0:40:46
me. A lot of women and men have
dreamt about being thrown around by | 0:40:46 | 0:40:51
Aljaz. What is the reality of that?
It's not all it's cracked up to be. | 0:40:51 | 0:40:58
It's quite of - do this. You are
like, ah! Wow! Gemma has been be an | 0:40:58 | 0:41:12
inconspire situation ration. She is
an inspiration every day. When we | 0:41:12 | 0:41:17
were paired up, what she can dance.
There was that one video of Gemma | 0:41:17 | 0:41:29
Ibiza. The party island. Going for.
It I got inspired. Can you show us | 0:41:29 | 0:41:35
the move? Come on, here's the music.
That is the move. Honestly. | 0:41:35 | 0:41:46
Honestly, it was much better. I
don't look good in a bikini. That | 0:41:46 | 0:41:54
made it into the routine Absolutely.
Yeah. We look forward to that. Good | 0:41:54 | 0:41:59
luck tomorrow. Good luck with the
lifts and the juggle. Gemma and | 0:41:59 | 0:42:03
Aljaz.
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE | 0:42:03 | 0:42:09
It really does work! Love him. | 0:42:09 | 0:42:20
Now, whilst I carry on trying
to master this dance move, | 0:42:22 | 0:42:24
let's see if Aston and Jonnie have
been mastering their routines | 0:42:24 | 0:42:27
in the training room... | 0:42:27 | 0:42:28
We are doing the Viennese Waltz.
We are back in hold. I love being in | 0:42:28 | 0:42:31
hold. There are challenges, turns,
change step, reverse turns and | 0:42:31 | 0:42:36
standing spin. There's a lot of
shaping in the upper body. Making it | 0:42:36 | 0:42:43
look seamless when you are moving
that fast. It's hard not to get | 0:42:43 | 0:42:46
dizzy. You are constantly spinning
on the floor. Everything will have | 0:42:46 | 0:42:50
to be quicker and more disciplined.
Good, see. It's getting there. This | 0:42:50 | 0:42:56
week have we have a Salsa, so
hopefully this one we can have a lot | 0:42:56 | 0:43:00
more fun with. Heel, tap, one, slow.
We are having fun and going with | 0:43:00 | 0:43:09
this nun number so it can be
amazing. I feel like I've been | 0:43:09 | 0:43:12
thrown so much information and my
brain has turned to mush. The Salsa | 0:43:12 | 0:43:17
is a party dance. We need to bring
the party to the Strictly floor. | 0:43:17 | 0:43:24
Go for it Jonnie, believe! | 0:43:30 | 0:43:33
Right, time to head back to Gethin,
and it's not all about the couples - | 0:43:33 | 0:43:37
earlier today he got cosy with some
of the crew. | 0:43:37 | 0:43:39
Let's take a look at what happened. | 0:43:39 | 0:43:41
One man who does more steps on the
Strictly dance floor than any of the | 0:43:41 | 0:43:44
guys behind me combined is Dom
Jackson, the steadicam operator. | 0:43:44 | 0:43:46
Thank you for talking to us. What do
you do on Strictly Come Dancing? I'm | 0:43:46 | 0:43:50
part of a ten camera, multi camera
team, that work on the live shows. I | 0:43:50 | 0:43:56
run around the dance floor making
the dancers look good. People don't | 0:43:56 | 0:44:00
see, it you tear around giving
everyone a different perspective? | 0:44:00 | 0:44:04
The idea is you get shots on the
dance floor to give you a | 0:44:04 | 0:44:08
perspective of what the dancer's
face every week when they have the | 0:44:08 | 0:44:14
cam staring at them and the audience
and 11 million viewers -- camera. If | 0:44:14 | 0:44:20
you are nervous going out there to
dance. I remember you coming at me | 0:44:20 | 0:44:24
and I thought - who is this man with
the camera, how do they react to | 0:44:24 | 0:44:28
you? You talk to them in rehearsals
about the specifics of the shots. | 0:44:28 | 0:44:34
They have no idea. They are focused
on getting the moves correct they | 0:44:34 | 0:44:39
don't see. What has been the hardest
routine for you this year? The | 0:44:39 | 0:44:43
opening sequence on Hallowe'en last
week I was strung up and swung down | 0:44:43 | 0:44:48
off the balcony behind us on the
wire. Then was unhooked and carried | 0:44:48 | 0:44:53
on the shot for another 15 seconds
Andre, yeah, I would have liked to | 0:44:53 | 0:44:58
have sat down afterwards, it was
actually How much does painful. This | 0:44:58 | 0:45:01
weigh? It's about 22 kilos. It keeps
you fit on a Saturday? Oh, yes. I | 0:45:01 | 0:45:07
don't need to go to the gym for the
rest of the week. I will have a long | 0:45:07 | 0:45:12
lie down on Sunday this week. You
will have your work cut out based on | 0:45:12 | 0:45:18
the pr dance behind us. Good luck
with that. Thank you. | 0:45:18 | 0:45:21
I love this job! That was a nice
jacket as well. | 0:45:29 | 0:45:34
Now, like Whitney Houston,
I get "so emotional" every time | 0:45:34 | 0:45:36
I think of this year's Strictly. | 0:45:36 | 0:45:38
But it's not just me -
our celebrities are | 0:45:38 | 0:45:40
feeling the love too. | 0:45:40 | 0:45:41
Take a look at this. | 0:45:41 | 0:45:42
Come back here, you! | 0:45:42 | 0:45:45
If someone would have told me during
the first week I would make it to | 0:45:45 | 0:45:48
the halfway point, then I would be
extremely happy with that. | 0:45:48 | 0:45:55
Extremely. Every Sunday you just
feel like it could be you. I'm just | 0:45:55 | 0:46:05
really happy I managed to make it
this far. The fact that Gorka and I | 0:46:05 | 0:46:12
are at the halfway point is
absolutely insane. Just for me, to | 0:46:12 | 0:46:18
still be a part of it, it is a dream
come true. It's absolutely | 0:46:18 | 0:46:26
astonishing, and I never dream for a
single second we would still be here | 0:46:26 | 0:46:35
in week seven. Making it the halfway
is amazing, and we asked all here, | 0:46:35 | 0:46:39
still fighting. I'm absolutely
loving learning a new dance each | 0:46:39 | 0:46:44
week. This is the most amazing
experience. You don't really want it | 0:46:44 | 0:46:49
to end. When you are in this bubble,
it is great, but just thinking, | 0:46:49 | 0:46:55
there is half gone, only half left.
I hope we can push on to the very | 0:46:55 | 0:47:00
end, because that would just be...
That would be amazing. Week seven, | 0:47:00 | 0:47:06
and I'm still here. I can't believe
it. It is incredible, quite surreal | 0:47:06 | 0:47:10
actually. I have to keep pinching
myself. I'm on Strictly Come | 0:47:10 | 0:47:15
Dancing! It's amazing.
It feels fantastic because, you | 0:47:15 | 0:47:23
know, in the beginning I didn't know
how it would go and I didn't want to | 0:47:23 | 0:47:26
be one of the first out, and to make
it to this point, past Halloween, it | 0:47:26 | 0:47:30
is just phenomenal. When you start
this competition you have no idea | 0:47:30 | 0:47:36
how many weeks you will be in it
for, but to get halfway through, I | 0:47:36 | 0:47:43
feel really lucky and I am loving
every minute of it. Oh, I know! It | 0:47:43 | 0:47:48
is getting emotional! | 0:47:48 | 0:47:50
Right, time now to talk
about the rest of | 0:47:50 | 0:47:57
They're back - it's our glorious
Friday Panel, everyone! | 0:47:57 | 0:47:59
Let's jump straight
into things and talk about Joe | 0:47:59 | 0:48:02
and Katya and a Charleston. | 0:48:02 | 0:48:04
They're wooden soldiers
- are you excited? | 0:48:04 | 0:48:07
Like a real by! Yes, I mean, I think
he has definitely got the knees for | 0:48:07 | 0:48:14
it. A nice little bones they are.
Great character in the stands, do | 0:48:14 | 0:48:20
you think, Lisa? Absolutely, the
inner act, and the more he gets his | 0:48:20 | 0:48:26
face out, that is what the
Charleston is about, and hopefully | 0:48:26 | 0:48:29
the feat will do the same. The
Charleston is so much fun and I love | 0:48:29 | 0:48:33
it when they do the critic Rossi
legs. -- the crisscrossed legs. All | 0:48:33 | 0:48:39
to play for, isn't it! If Bruno is
ever off again we will just have, I | 0:48:39 | 0:48:45
think!
LAUGHTER | 0:48:45 | 0:48:47
Next up it's Susan and Kevin -
of last week's lowest scoring dances | 0:48:47 | 0:48:50
- is the jive going to save them
from the same fate? | 0:48:50 | 0:48:53
Do you think it will go down better
with the judges? They gave them such | 0:48:53 | 0:48:56
a hard time last week. I think they
will really come into their own last | 0:48:56 | 0:48:59
week because she has the most
amazing bounds. When she dances she | 0:48:59 | 0:49:02
gets up so high in these dances
seemed to sit her so I think she | 0:49:02 | 0:49:09
will smash it. She has the most
amazing bounce. I have known her for | 0:49:09 | 0:49:17
12 years, know very well, and when
Craig said that to her, I just | 0:49:17 | 0:49:21
thought, who knew that Craig had...
You know, maybe a balcony, maybe | 0:49:21 | 0:49:33
gravel chips, but never a lawn. I
need you as my best friend! Susan | 0:49:33 | 0:49:39
works so hard. She is a comedian by
trade and she is always funny. I | 0:49:39 | 0:49:42
know she cares about the dancing so
much, so I am very supportive of her | 0:49:42 | 0:49:47
and I think she is doing a great
job. I don't know her, but when I am | 0:49:47 | 0:49:53
watching her dancing I always forget
I am watching a competition. She | 0:49:53 | 0:49:57
just oozes enjoyment. That is what
you want to watch. Alex and Gorka, | 0:49:57 | 0:50:06
what are they doing? Cha-cha-cha!
Tyre, you'll love this dance, I can | 0:50:06 | 0:50:10
tell! Let's look at them in
training. Lisa, what do you make of | 0:50:10 | 0:50:16
these two? She is on a one-way
motorway to the final, unbelievable. | 0:50:16 | 0:50:20
It is the way she owns every dance,
it comes out from every pore in her. | 0:50:20 | 0:50:26
And I saw that in the rehearsal
room, she just wants to get it | 0:50:26 | 0:50:29
right, get better week after week,
and it is fantastic. Glorious stuff. | 0:50:29 | 0:50:35
I think she is ace. She is, and what
about Davood and Nadiya? They have | 0:50:35 | 0:50:44
an American smooth this week. They
have been stuck in the middle of the | 0:50:44 | 0:50:47
leaderboard and people have been
saying they need a break-out dance, | 0:50:47 | 0:50:50
but could this be the one? Davood, I
like very much, but I didn't enjoy | 0:50:50 | 0:50:56
his last dance very much because I
thought it was a lot of standing | 0:50:56 | 0:51:00
still and walking forward which, to
be honest, anyone could do at a bus | 0:51:00 | 0:51:03
queue. But I think they will be
great... And where we are talking | 0:51:03 | 0:51:07
about Davood, can I just say again,
how great is Debbie McGee? She is 98 | 0:51:07 | 0:51:12
years old as well. How she does it,
I just don't know! | 0:51:12 | 0:51:17
LAUGHTER
He should be a judge on the shore! | 0:51:17 | 0:51:23
She is only 59! And just putting
that... Gemma and Aljaz, very | 0:51:23 | 0:51:32
quickly, a salsa, Prince, what do
you reckon? Let's have a little look | 0:51:32 | 0:51:42
-- Martine, what do you think? I
think they could be the ones to | 0:51:42 | 0:51:48
watch. She is my winner, actually.
Wow! Go, Gemma! Who is your winner? | 0:51:48 | 0:52:00
Debbie McGee, in every way. What
about your best friend? Yes, Susan, | 0:52:00 | 0:52:12
oh, Susan! She's not here, is she?
Who is your winner, Martine? I | 0:52:12 | 0:52:18
genuinely, at this point in time, I
don't know, because Blackpool is | 0:52:18 | 0:52:23
coming up, and they were all pull
out... Who doesn't want to go to | 0:52:23 | 0:52:27
Blackpool?
LAUGHTER | 0:52:27 | 0:52:32
Very quickly, who is going home,
Lisa? I think Davood and Nadiya. I | 0:52:32 | 0:52:40
think Debbie McGee will go because
she will be poached by Hollywood! | 0:52:40 | 0:52:45
Martine? I don't know, really don't
know, because they are all | 0:52:45 | 0:52:48
surprisingly. I thought I had it
when it started, but now I just | 0:52:48 | 0:52:56
don't know, they are all
surprisingly. What a glorious panel. | 0:52:56 | 0:53:01
Right, for the final
time let's head back to | 0:53:01 | 0:53:03
the Strictly HQ to
see what Gethin got | 0:53:03 | 0:53:05
up to earlier today. | 0:53:05 | 0:53:09
Hi, Zoe. It is Wales against
Australia, two against one, but not | 0:53:09 | 0:53:16
a competition, just a friendly chat.
Thanks, mate. Mate! She is their | 0:53:16 | 0:53:24
Welsh and she is destroyed. How has
the experience been for you so far | 0:53:24 | 0:53:28
although you are missing your
partners? Everyday something new, | 0:53:28 | 0:53:34
really exciting, it is brilliant. I
feel like Brian has not quite got | 0:53:34 | 0:53:37
over departing the show, he is
always tweeting and texting about | 0:53:37 | 0:53:42
it. We miss you, Brian! Is loving it
and still supporting, checking up on | 0:53:42 | 0:53:48
me. I actually think he is in Rome
at the moment. He will be watching | 0:53:48 | 0:53:52
somehow, 20? And how is the Rev? Who
is the Rev? Just kidding! I | 0:53:52 | 0:54:00
absolutely miss him so much, he
still sends me the old WhatsApp | 0:54:00 | 0:54:09
message in there. Is he still
talking about dancing? He has joined | 0:54:09 | 0:54:13
a dance class! He shows me little
videos, and he says, Di, I still | 0:54:13 | 0:54:19
can't dance, but I say, you can, but
he is watching the show, and he said | 0:54:19 | 0:54:24
every single person, he sends every
individual good luck message every | 0:54:24 | 0:54:28
week, so that is really sweet. I
know you guys are busy with the | 0:54:28 | 0:54:32
pro-dances on Saturday, but a new
project, rehearsing the moral? | 0:54:32 | 0:54:38
Children In Need. I have Mr Max
Currie. He was my hero Blue Peter | 0:54:38 | 0:54:45
presenter! I don't know... I forget
you're younger than me. How is he | 0:54:45 | 0:54:51
doing? Amazing, and we are doing a
jive. I have Mr Tim Vincent. I'm | 0:54:51 | 0:55:00
sorry, but obviously being from
Australia I never got the chance to | 0:55:00 | 0:55:03
watch Blue Peter, so I heard all
about the badge and everything. I | 0:55:03 | 0:55:06
have looked it up, got all the
details of it all. It is an amazing | 0:55:06 | 0:55:11
show under used to have some
fantastic presenters. Some, more | 0:55:11 | 0:55:14
than others. -- and they used to
have. 30 seconds, is it? 30 seconds | 0:55:14 | 0:55:22
each. Then we have a bit of a group
number as well so it would be really | 0:55:22 | 0:55:29
fun. Very busy, 24-48 hours for you
guys. Good luck with it. Thank you. | 0:55:29 | 0:55:37
Sorry for telling everybody your
age. Go, Australia! Wales! | 0:55:37 | 0:55:45
That's all we have time for tonight! | 0:55:45 | 0:55:47
Thanks to my guests,
and make sure you catch | 0:55:47 | 0:55:49
all the action with Tess
and Claud tomorrow night | 0:55:49 | 0:55:51
at 6.45 on BBC One. | 0:55:51 | 0:55:53
I'll be back on Monday with the next
couple to leave the competition. | 0:55:53 | 0:55:56
But now, singing us out
with Say I'm Not Alone | 0:55:56 | 0:55:58
from her new album Lost and Found,
it's Martine McCutcheon! | 0:55:58 | 0:56:00
