Hello! | 0:00:08 | 0:00:09
I am very excited to say I am back
inside the Strictly Glitterball. | 0:00:09 | 0:00:12
Isn't it glorious? | 0:00:12 | 0:00:13
I've been tasked with
analysing just how tonight's | 0:00:13 | 0:00:15
It Takes Two is shaping up. | 0:00:15 | 0:00:16
But first, I'm going to need my
Trusty swing-o-meter. | 0:00:16 | 0:00:20
There it is! | 0:00:20 | 0:00:21
Hello, old friend. | 0:00:21 | 0:00:22
It's leaning towards a score of '1'
at the moment but look what happens | 0:00:22 | 0:00:26
when it sees that the likes
of Jonnie & Oti and Gemma & Aljaz | 0:00:26 | 0:00:29
are in the building right now.
And if it's live music you're | 0:00:29 | 0:00:34
here for, corr blimey -
The Corrs will be performing. | 0:00:34 | 0:00:36
All my dreams are coming true. | 0:00:36 | 0:00:44
But what about those all important
seats on the Friday Panel? | 0:00:44 | 0:00:47
The results are coming in right now
and I'm hearing they've been filled | 0:00:47 | 0:00:50
by Nick Knowles, Anna Richardson.... | 0:00:50 | 0:00:53
And I can't believe it -
one of the greatest | 0:00:53 | 0:00:55
dancers to ever set foot
on the Strictly dance floor... | 0:00:55 | 0:01:00
Jeremy Vine. | 0:01:00 | 0:01:01
That's me! | 0:01:01 | 0:01:04
This is a vintage line-up. | 0:01:04 | 0:01:06
All hosted by Zoe Ball! | 0:01:06 | 0:01:08
Oh yes! | 0:01:08 | 0:01:09
10's all around... | 0:01:09 | 0:01:10
There's only one thing left to do. | 0:01:10 | 0:01:12
Roll the titles!
Does anyone know how | 0:01:12 | 0:01:13
I get out of here? | 0:01:13 | 0:01:16
Live from London, this is Strictly
it takes to. Please welcome your | 0:02:05 | 0:02:11
host, Zoe Ball. | 0:02:11 | 0:02:12
Hello and welcome to It Takes Two! | 0:02:25 | 0:02:26
A big thank you to the
gorgeous Aljaz and Oti. | 0:02:26 | 0:02:31
They'll be back later in the show
with their partners. | 0:02:31 | 0:02:33

# Love me... | 0:05:33 | 0:05:37
# Love me... | 0:05:39 | 0:05:42
APPLAUSE. | 0:05:42 | 0:05:51
What a gorgeous bunch. | 0:05:51 | 0:05:58
What can I do to get them to perform
again later in the show? | 0:05:58 | 0:06:01
It's happening, people. | 0:06:01 | 0:06:02
But back to business. | 0:06:02 | 0:06:12
It's Friday night and I can confirm
we are only 24 hours and 38 minutes | 0:06:13 | 0:06:16
away from the next live
Strictly extravaganza! | 0:06:16 | 0:06:18
So with time very much
of the essence, we sent | 0:06:18 | 0:06:20
the delectable Gethin to Strictly HQ
to gather up all the | 0:06:20 | 0:06:23
behind-the-scenes intel. | 0:06:23 | 0:06:27
Welcome to the heart of the action
in the Strictly ballroom where | 0:06:27 | 0:06:31
rehearsals are underway for the show
tomorrow. No one needs reminding | 0:06:31 | 0:06:35
that Blackpool is eight days away
and the class of 2017 are pulling | 0:06:35 | 0:06:41
out the stops. Susan and Kevin are
doing a tango to Firework by Katy | 0:06:41 | 0:06:49
Perry. Let us take a look. How about
that? Explosives, we love watching | 0:06:49 | 0:06:59
them downs. I am off to see who I
can talk to and get myself on the | 0:06:59 | 0:07:02
guest list for Blackpool -- dance. | 0:07:02 | 0:07:07
What a man, what a beard, what
a thirst for backstage knowledge. | 0:07:07 | 0:07:10
And there will be plenty more
from Mr Jones later in the show! | 0:07:10 | 0:07:13
But right now, it's time to meet our
first guests of the evening... | 0:07:13 | 0:07:17
As superstar DJs, these two brought
a party to the Strictly dance floor | 0:07:17 | 0:07:20
and dropped a down right spicy Salsa
while they were at it. | 0:07:20 | 0:07:23
It's Jonnie and Oti. | 0:07:23 | 0:07:33
I thought the lifts were
spectacular. You have no fear and it | 0:07:37 | 0:07:42
is a fabulous attitude. Keep it up!
You are finding rhythms that suit | 0:07:42 | 0:07:48
Jonnie Peacock.
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. | 0:07:48 | 0:07:54
MUSIC: Donna Summer - 'Hot Stuff'. | 0:07:54 | 0:07:58
Welcome to you wonderful people. I
feel like I have not seen you for | 0:08:11 | 0:08:15
ages. | 0:08:15 | 0:08:16 | |
That was one extra hot Salsa -
did you enjoy the performance? | 0:08:16 | 0:08:21
It was better than the Cha Cha Cha.
It was good fun. I was time to keep | 0:08:21 | 0:08:26
myself covered. As best I could. I
do not know if that is what the | 0:08:26 | 0:08:33
people want. I think they are very
excited. | 0:08:33 | 0:08:36
You've played a lot of characters
these past few weeks - | 0:08:36 | 0:08:39
Pirate Jonnie, Indiana Jonnie,
and who could forget | 0:08:39 | 0:08:41
Supermarket Sweep Jonnie -
how did it feel to be Jonnie | 0:08:41 | 0:08:44
the Party Animal? | 0:08:44 | 0:08:46
It was good fun. I just tried to
enjoy it. I think we really had fun. | 0:08:46 | 0:08:54
We really enjoyed it. We were
screaming and having a good time. I | 0:08:54 | 0:08:59
could hear you at home. | 0:08:59 | 0:09:04
The scores were up to 27 | 0:09:04 | 0:09:05
and the judges were impressed
by Jonnie's armography, | 0:09:05 | 0:09:07
strength and those incredible lifts
- were you happy? | 0:09:07 | 0:09:10
I was so happy. I really was. I was
happy. He gave it is all and he is | 0:09:10 | 0:09:18
so shy. For him to just go out there
and have fun because that is all he | 0:09:18 | 0:09:25
can do, that was amazing. Did you
surprise yourself? I think so. This | 0:09:25 | 0:09:30
is one of the first dancers were I
really knew the choreography, | 0:09:30 | 0:09:36
normally backstage, I am panicked
about what steps are coming but this | 0:09:36 | 0:09:40
one it just happened and I try to
throw myself into it, with the | 0:09:40 | 0:09:45
salsa, you have to have fun. We had
so much fun watching you. | 0:09:45 | 0:09:50
Darcey also praised
the way you handle Oti | 0:09:50 | 0:09:52
throwing herself at you' -
it's a hard life - do you need us | 0:09:52 | 0:09:55
do you need us to have a quiet
word with her? | 0:09:55 | 0:10:03
The lifts were good fun. They were
really good fun. I think salsa is | 0:10:03 | 0:10:08
all about the woman. You have taught
him well! | 0:10:08 | 0:10:16
Shirley | 0:10:16 | 0:10:17
said that you're | 0:10:17 | 0:10:18
finding 'rhythms that | 0:10:18 | 0:10:19
suit Jonnie Peacock'. | 0:10:19 | 0:10:23
How much do you adapt your
choreography as you get | 0:10:23 | 0:10:26
to know your partner's strengths? | 0:10:26 | 0:10:31
We are finding our feet and knowing
what works for us and how we can | 0:10:31 | 0:10:35
have fun, not where I am going crazy
and he is looking at me like I am | 0:10:35 | 0:10:40
crazy. That is all the time! What is
wrong with you? We are having fun. | 0:10:40 | 0:10:48
This week was nice, I was relaxed
and chilled. Yes. I just look at | 0:10:48 | 0:10:54
him. This is amazing. | 0:10:54 | 0:10:57
We all want to know - | 0:10:57 | 0:10:59
have you taken Bruno up
on his offer to help with those | 0:10:59 | 0:11:02
hip rotations yet? | 0:11:02 | 0:11:03
He told me not to say anything. | 0:11:03 | 0:11:06
You said up in the Clauditorium
that you thought this | 0:11:06 | 0:11:09
dance was going to land | 0:11:09 | 0:11:10
you in the Dance-Off -
why were you so worried? | 0:11:10 | 0:11:12
I don't know. Backstage it felt like
it and I think, for me, my goal was | 0:11:12 | 0:11:21
Halloween and every week as a bonus,
we are getting to the point where | 0:11:21 | 0:11:25
there are some seriously good people
left and you feel like every week | 0:11:25 | 0:11:29
is. It has got to that part of the
show were every time it is going to | 0:11:29 | 0:11:34
feel like you're going to go. | 0:11:34 | 0:11:42
Here at It Takes Two, we're always
looking to gain new insight | 0:11:42 | 0:11:45
into your working dynamics.... | 0:11:45 | 0:11:46
I knew it! | 0:11:46 | 0:11:49
This week, we learnt
the pair of you have very | 0:11:49 | 0:11:52
different ways of warming up. | 0:11:52 | 0:11:54
Take a look at this. | 0:11:54 | 0:12:03
# It's my life.
# My heart is like an open highway. | 0:12:06 | 0:12:11
It is from me.
# It's my life! | 0:12:11 | 0:12:22
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. It is so
good. Brilliant, Bon Jovi. | 0:12:22 | 0:12:32
Have you ever | 0:12:32 | 0:12:33
considered auditioning | 0:12:33 | 0:12:34
to join Tommy and the gang? | 0:12:34 | 0:12:38
I love Bon Jovi. I am always trying
to get our Bon Jovi song onto the | 0:12:38 | 0:12:44
show. It will happen, I am sure.
This week, it is the foxtrot, are | 0:12:44 | 0:12:52
you excited? I am excited as Oti was
right there. Obviously a couple of | 0:12:52 | 0:13:01
Latin numbers, | 0:13:01 | 0:13:01
right there. Obviously a couple of
Latin numbers, it is nice to get | 0:13:01 | 0:13:03
back into the hold. We can hear the
music, you're dancing to a Dell, | 0:13:03 | 0:13:09
it is a classic. | 0:13:09 | 0:13:16
MUSIC: Adele - 'Someone Like You'. | 0:13:16 | 0:13:21
She has had the music band. | 0:13:21 | 0:13:24
Is this song following
you everywhere you go this week? | 0:13:24 | 0:13:29
I'm hearing it a lot in the training
but that is always a good sign. It | 0:13:29 | 0:13:34
is a massive song and an amazing
song and I hope I can do it justice. | 0:13:34 | 0:13:40
Bills and bills. | 0:13:40 | 0:13:43
Are you worried about
the Dinosaur Bum returning? | 0:13:43 | 0:13:48
No, old Oti will come back. | 0:13:48 | 0:13:56
You are just one dance away
from the Blackpool Tower - | 0:13:56 | 0:13:59
what would it mean to you to get
a spot on that all important bus? | 0:13:59 | 0:14:03
I am just enjoying every Saturday.
My goal is Halloween and every week | 0:14:03 | 0:14:06
after that is a bonus, Blackpool
would be amazing. | 0:14:06 | 0:14:10
Give it up for Jonnie
& Oti, everyone! | 0:14:10 | 0:14:14
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Brilliant. | 0:14:14 | 0:14:19
Next up, it's time for
a behind-the-scenes look at this | 0:14:19 | 0:14:21
weekend's group number. | 0:14:21 | 0:14:23
And to commemorate Remembrance Day,
the Strictly Pros are promising | 0:14:23 | 0:14:25
a routine we'll never forget. | 0:14:25 | 0:14:32
This week's Group Dance is an
emotional and moving story in | 0:14:32 | 0:14:38
tribute to Remembrance Day.
# There will be blue skies... My | 0:14:38 | 0:14:43
character is a wife waiting for her
husband to come back from the water. | 0:14:43 | 0:14:46
As I am picking up his jacket and
trying to remember and smell him, I | 0:14:46 | 0:14:51
go back and I am dancing with him in
my imagination. | 0:14:51 | 0:15:00
# And though I'm far away... One of
my favourite moments is when we | 0:15:00 | 0:15:05
start dancing with our men and
suddenly they disappear and all we | 0:15:05 | 0:15:08
have left are the flowers and that
represents all those who are the | 0:15:08 | 0:15:15
fallen of the war. We are playing
the roles of two soldiers and we are | 0:15:15 | 0:15:21
at the back. Remembrance Day means
so much to me, my father was serving | 0:15:21 | 0:15:28
and I was born in the barracks, I
think people have lost someone or | 0:15:28 | 0:15:33
know someone in the service and it
is a special time for everyone. This | 0:15:33 | 0:15:41
is a more contemporary style of
ballroom dancing and it can really | 0:15:41 | 0:15:45
get emotional and obviously because
this is such a sensitive and | 0:15:45 | 0:15:48
beautiful routine, we can really go
there with our feelings. I was so | 0:15:48 | 0:15:56
proud to be a part of their stance
and we hope you enjoy the routine on | 0:15:56 | 0:15:59
the weekend. -- so proud to be a
part of this dance. | 0:15:59 | 0:16:04
Beautiful, isn't it? | 0:16:09 | 0:16:11
It's time now to welcome this
week's esteemed Friday Panel. | 0:16:11 | 0:16:13
They needed to have star power,
comedy chops and an encyclopedic | 0:16:13 | 0:16:16
knowledge of all-things-Strictly. | 0:16:16 | 0:16:18
And this week, they just so happen
to ooze sex appeal too. | 0:16:18 | 0:16:21
Please go wild for Jeremy Vine,
Anna Richardson and Nick Knowles! | 0:16:21 | 0:16:26
Music: 'We Don't Have
To Take Our Clothes Off | 0:16:26 | 0:16:28
(To Have A Good Time). | 0:16:28 | 0:16:31
He returns! What an entrance, ladies
and gentlemen! Welcome to the show, | 0:16:40 | 0:16:45
and our, what do you make of the
class of 2017? They are very strong, | 0:16:45 | 0:16:55
but every year the standard is
getting better and better, we are | 0:16:55 | 0:16:59
only halfway through and I'm already
gobsmacked by the level. 2015 was | 0:16:59 | 0:17:05
quite a good year... It was a very
strong year, it is the return of | 0:17:05 | 0:17:09
Jeremy Vine! It was a very strong
year, we are so excited to see you | 0:17:09 | 0:17:16
reunited with Karen Clifton, your
old friends, Latin and ballroom, for | 0:17:16 | 0:17:20
the Christmas Special! I am so
chuffed, I've been in touch with | 0:17:20 | 0:17:25
Karen, I will not say which dance
but I'm looking forward to going | 0:17:25 | 0:17:29
back. She is a firm teacher! She is
firm! She normally starts by saying | 0:17:29 | 0:17:35
"I want coffee! " | 0:17:35 | 0:17:38
firm! She normally starts by saying
"I want coffee! ". We are friends, | 0:17:38 | 0:17:41
we catch up two or three times a
week. Nick Knowles, we've had your | 0:17:41 | 0:17:47
album on in the dressing room this
afternoon! Have you ever thought | 0:17:47 | 0:17:53
about DIY, doing it yourself
strategic and dancing? When I was | 0:17:53 | 0:17:56
growing up, I was always dancing in
my house, the eldest has a ballet | 0:17:56 | 0:18:02
school and my youngest sister was a
dancer, my brother is a musician and | 0:18:02 | 0:18:08
writes musicals, I was the least
talented in the family! Is it a yes | 0:18:08 | 0:18:13
or a no? It is a maybe! How
exciting, I love your jumper, it is | 0:18:13 | 0:18:19
very warm in here! | 0:18:19 | 0:18:27
Let's start tonight | 0:18:27 | 0:18:28
with Davood and Nadiya -
who are dancing a Charleston | 0:18:28 | 0:18:30
to the Lambeth Walk. | 0:18:30 | 0:18:31
This was your highest scoring
dance - how's it looking? | 0:18:31 | 0:18:37
Tell me what you think at this
stage... I am looking at his feet, I | 0:18:37 | 0:18:45
think that flapping pivot on the
third, the ball of the foot thing. | 0:18:45 | 0:18:52
If he's doing that, he has been
practising, I did not see much of it | 0:18:52 | 0:18:57
there. It is probably the wrong
bit... The swivel? I never found out | 0:18:57 | 0:19:02
what it was called! She will be
furious! This thing that you do with | 0:19:02 | 0:19:07
your feet, like that, that is the
hardest thing for a non-dancer to | 0:19:07 | 0:19:11
do. I practised it everywhere, the
bedroom, the lift, the floor, I got | 0:19:11 | 0:19:18
complaints at Radio 2 for walking
like that everywhere! It is going to | 0:19:18 | 0:19:23
test them. I'm impressed that he
knows this stuff... The thing is, I | 0:19:23 | 0:19:28
became obsessed with the charleston!
When we all met for the first time | 0:19:28 | 0:19:33
in August, we did that. I kept
practising it everywhere. For two | 0:19:33 | 0:19:40
seconds, it worked, literally! We
will make him do it in a minute, we | 0:19:40 | 0:19:46
will have a demo... | 0:19:46 | 0:19:51
Susan and Kevin next. | 0:19:51 | 0:19:52
Last week they leapt up the leader
board with an energetic | 0:19:52 | 0:19:55
Jive but were criticised
for their painting | 0:19:55 | 0:19:56
and decorating skills. | 0:19:56 | 0:19:58
What do you make of their Tango? | 0:19:58 | 0:20:01
She looks great, she is one of the
stories of the year. Your daughter, | 0:20:01 | 0:20:05
and Anna is in agreement with me.
She has a proper chance. Everybody | 0:20:05 | 0:20:11
loves how she has thrown herself
into it. It is difficult when your | 0:20:11 | 0:20:15
life is an comedy to throw yourself
seriously into something without | 0:20:15 | 0:20:18
feeling uncomfortable. She looks
great! | 0:20:18 | 0:20:19
CHEERING
Anna, Jonnie Adams Oti are doing the | 0:20:19 | 0:20:34
Foxtrot. Are you looking forward to
them doing the ballroom? We've not | 0:20:34 | 0:20:40
had it for a couple of weeks, Jonnie
has been praised on his Latin, I | 0:20:40 | 0:20:43
think we will see a darker side to
the Peacock this week... It sounds | 0:20:43 | 0:20:49
really naughty... She is lovely,
infectiously bonkers! She has the | 0:20:49 | 0:20:58
tiniest waste, the longest legs and
has brilliant choreography. | 0:20:58 | 0:21:05
Next up - Debbie and Giovanni
who had the first perfect 40 | 0:21:05 | 0:21:08
of the series last weekend - just
where on the Swing-o-meter | 0:21:08 | 0:21:10
is their salsa sitting?
where on the Swing-o-meter | 0:21:10 | 0:21:14
It's a crucial moment. I think that
Debbie is going to win at this | 0:21:14 | 0:21:17
stage. I'm a pundit and I do
politics but I've been wrong on | 0:21:17 | 0:21:22
everything for the last five years.
Before Debbie I thought it would be | 0:21:22 | 0:21:26
Custom. To me... Aston, it is too
soon! I thought that Aston, | 0:21:26 | 0:21:36
Alexandra and Debbie would be in the
final. I cannot forget Craig's | 0:21:36 | 0:21:42
bowel, when he | 0:21:42 | 0:21:42
-- I cannot forget Craig's bow, when
he comes out from behind the desk! | 0:21:46 | 0:21:55
The thing about Debbie, she has
always been... And Debbie McGee. | 0:21:55 | 0:22:00
Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee. Now
we are seeing her in her own right. | 0:22:00 | 0:22:09
It is brilliant. Joe and Katya are
doing a Rumba, do you know a lot | 0:22:09 | 0:22:12
about that? This is slightly
dangerous, isn't it? It is a little | 0:22:12 | 0:22:19
exposing... You could easily put
something out... It is interestingly | 0:22:19 | 0:22:25
dangerous because it is a very
stimulating, sexual kind of dance | 0:22:25 | 0:22:31
and you can irritate the audience.
It is a fine line, to be sexy enough | 0:22:31 | 0:22:36
but not so much weight you go, I
don't want to be watching this... It | 0:22:36 | 0:22:40
is like you on DIY SOS! Let's hope
Joe isn't knocked out on the Rumba. | 0:22:40 | 0:22:52
These guys will return | 0:22:52 | 0:22:53
later in the show.... | 0:22:53 | 0:22:54
But for now, give it up
for our Friday Panel! | 0:22:54 | 0:22:57
Right, it's time to get
to know our Strictly Pros | 0:22:57 | 0:22:59
a little bit better. | 0:22:59 | 0:23:00
And once again, when our team went
to interview them... | 0:23:00 | 0:23:03
They were all found causing trouble
down the local Bingo Hall. | 0:23:03 | 0:23:05
What are they like? | 0:23:05 | 0:23:06
Eyes down for Ballroom Bingo! | 0:23:06 | 0:23:14
Good evening, Strictly fans, eyes
down. It is time for Ballroom Bingo! | 0:23:14 | 0:23:24
All aboard the Blackpool line, it is
59. Which pro gets most excited | 0:23:27 | 0:23:32
about going to Blackpool? I would
have to say it is probably Chloe? | 0:23:32 | 0:23:38
Chloe loves Blackpool, she gets so
excited about it. Giovanni, he says | 0:23:38 | 0:23:43
that Blackpool is so amazing... That
isn't really Italian it is the best | 0:23:43 | 0:23:48
experience, you will love it!
Anton... Anton... Anton Du Beke! He | 0:23:48 | 0:23:54
jokes that if he has made Blackpool
on Strictly, it's an amazing year | 0:23:54 | 0:23:58
for him! He is the king of the
ballroom, the King of Blackpool! He | 0:23:58 | 0:24:04
was there when Winter Gardens was
built! Tickety-boo, it is number 62. | 0:24:04 | 0:24:09
Which is the happiest pro? I'm
guessing it isn't me... Kevin is | 0:24:09 | 0:24:15
pretty happy, isn't he? Happy Kevin!
Chloe always have a big smile on her | 0:24:15 | 0:24:20
face! She is always smiling and is
so nice. Her smile goes to her ears! | 0:24:20 | 0:24:25
My nickname in the group is Little
Miss Sunshine! Every morning, | 0:24:25 | 0:24:29
Janette has a smile on her face. I
love her. It's between me and Aljaz. | 0:24:29 | 0:24:35
We are always laughing and happy.
Myself and Aljaz. Aljaz Aljaz. | 0:24:35 | 0:24:41
Aljaz. He always has the biggest
smile on his face no matter what is | 0:24:41 | 0:24:46
happening. Amy. Amy. Amy. She is
very happy! Like she never stopped | 0:24:46 | 0:24:55
smiling. She smiles nonstop! Bingo!
That's your lot, folks! Remember... | 0:24:55 | 0:25:02
Keep spinning! | 0:25:02 | 0:25:04
Look at these lovely people! It's
like Top of the Pops! | 0:25:09 | 0:25:16
Right now, it's time to check
in with Gethin for one | 0:25:16 | 0:25:18
of your recommended five-a-day
of healthy backstage | 0:25:18 | 0:25:20
Strictly gossip. | 0:25:20 | 0:25:21
It's for your own good, people. | 0:25:21 | 0:25:24
That's my pretend microphone, like
Top of the Pops! I found Debbie, Joe | 0:25:24 | 0:25:29
and Alexandra, otherwise known as
the ten club! Three celebrities with | 0:25:29 | 0:25:33
a Number 10! Does that add pressure,
now that you've got a ten in the | 0:25:33 | 0:25:40
bank, does it add pressure on a
Saturday night? No, when it comes to | 0:25:40 | 0:25:43
Monday and you are the union -- you
are learning a new dance it is like | 0:25:43 | 0:25:50
being at primary school, it is
different. And you've had a real | 0:25:50 | 0:25:54
change from the joy and the fun...
To the dance of love. I'm not loving | 0:25:54 | 0:25:59
the dance of love yet! But we like
each other at the moment. Maybe it | 0:25:59 | 0:26:03
will be love at some point? Turning
to love very quickly! Hopefully, | 0:26:03 | 0:26:08
that is the plan! The first
Argentine tango of the year, that is | 0:26:08 | 0:26:12
for you. It's all about... Yes, get
closer! I did hear that you've had | 0:26:12 | 0:26:21
to change a little bit today, is
that true? We changed stuff last | 0:26:21 | 0:26:25
night. Because we have a lot of
choreography on the stairs, which we | 0:26:25 | 0:26:32
have never done. Stairography is an
actual word? I made it up! I'm | 0:26:32 | 0:26:44
actually really scared about this
routine. I think it is the hardest | 0:26:44 | 0:26:48
one we've done. Everything is hard
and this is the toughest one, the | 0:26:48 | 0:26:52
most challenging. I've got a lot of
energy. Always hyper, this kind of | 0:26:52 | 0:26:57
dance you cannot have any. Gorka has
a lot of energy, we are intense when | 0:26:57 | 0:27:04
we rehearse. He always has to say to
both of us, I need to calm down and | 0:27:04 | 0:27:09
you need to calm down. Because your
partners are not here, it's not | 0:27:09 | 0:27:15
often you get to be without them in
the week, tell me about them, | 0:27:15 | 0:27:19
something we don't know? On a
Thursday, when he is happy, and he | 0:27:19 | 0:27:25
thinks that I've got the dance, and
he really relaxes... We start to | 0:27:25 | 0:27:30
sing together but neither of us can
sing. If anybody saw what was on | 0:27:30 | 0:27:37
Instagram and Twitter yesterday... I
saw that, it was terrible! Catty | 0:27:37 | 0:27:44
alike is to sing and also to teach
people, when I've had enough, I tell | 0:27:44 | 0:27:51
them to teach the VAT team how to do
a Viennese Waltz -- Katya. | 0:27:51 | 0:27:58
Alexandra, what about Gorka? He
likes to look at the chest, he goes | 0:27:58 | 0:28:05
to The Mirror and goes, look at my
chest! Now I don't see it. Before I | 0:28:05 | 0:28:10
used to be like, but your clothes
on! He doesn't even notice that he | 0:28:10 | 0:28:14
does it! The thing is, it looks
good! Now, because he does it so | 0:28:14 | 0:28:19
much I go, Gorka, your top is on the
floor! LAUGHTER | 0:28:19 | 0:28:26
Are you excited about Blackpool?
Yes! Absolutely. Thanks very much. | 0:28:26 | 0:28:35
Thanks Gethin. | 0:28:35 | 0:28:36
Now, as we all know, it's
Remembrance Sunday this weekend. | 0:28:36 | 0:28:39
With that in mind, we sent Strictly
favourite Frankie Bridge to meet | 0:28:39 | 0:28:42
a group of extraordinary veterans. | 0:28:42 | 0:28:45
In 1918, at 11am on the 11th day of
the 11th month, World War I came to | 0:28:45 | 0:28:50
a close. The 11th of November has
since become a day of remembrance | 0:28:50 | 0:28:59
where people all over the world paid
tribute to those who have fallen and | 0:28:59 | 0:29:04
those still fighting in conflicts
today. To mark the occasion I've | 0:29:04 | 0:29:11
come to meet a very special group of
veterans. | 0:29:11 | 0:29:17
The Royal Hospital, Chelsea, has
been serving as a retirement home to | 0:29:17 | 0:29:21
ex-soldiers for over 325 years.
Today, this building is home to | 0:29:21 | 0:29:26
nearly 300 veterans. Well renowned
as the Chelsea Pensioners, | 0:29:26 | 0:29:33
Remembrance Day holds a significance
for many of these heroic retirees. | 0:29:33 | 0:29:40
Veteran Harry Patek was only nine
years old when the Blitz started. We | 0:29:40 | 0:29:44
used to go out anywhere, and there
would be an air raid. What you would | 0:29:44 | 0:29:49
do is look for a shelter and get
into it. Hope for the best. D-Day | 0:29:49 | 0:29:56
itself, that was really something. I
will never forget it. The sky was | 0:29:56 | 0:30:03
black with aeroplanes and riders
going over to the continent. | 0:30:03 | 0:30:10
Frankie, veteran Alan Lee will soon
be celebrating his 94th birthday. | 0:30:10 | 0:30:14
He joined the Army when he was just
14 years old and served as a | 0:30:14 | 0:30:18
paratrooper in World War II. | 0:30:18 | 0:30:24
I remembered the invasion of
Germany. A lot of us died. The | 0:30:24 | 0:30:32
Germans were on the ground and all
they had to do was pray the air with | 0:30:32 | 0:30:37
their machine guns. Or you not
frightened just before you jumped | 0:30:37 | 0:30:41
out of the plane? Frightened is not
the word, but you were apprehensive. | 0:30:41 | 0:30:46
In other words, you were thinking,
let that ground come up quickly. We | 0:30:46 | 0:30:53
went to suss out this village but
they have these machine gunners and | 0:30:53 | 0:30:57
they came around the corner and
Cottbus. Three of us were wounded at | 0:30:57 | 0:31:03
the same time. My leg was at an
angle of about 45 degrees so I | 0:31:03 | 0:31:10
picked it up and put it on the good
leg and crawled into a culvert and | 0:31:10 | 0:31:16
eventually the medics came out to
us. The surgeon came through and | 0:31:16 | 0:31:22
said, unfortunately, I had to take
your leg off. It was so bad. I asked | 0:31:22 | 0:31:29
about the other two and they said
unfortunately both had died. Today | 0:31:29 | 0:31:41
there is a special tea dance being
held at the hospital, a chance for | 0:31:41 | 0:31:46
veterans to remember and commemorate
what this day represents. | 0:31:46 | 0:31:54
95-year-old veteran George Skipper
has fond memories of dancing with | 0:31:54 | 0:31:57
his late wife and he still enjoys a
good dance today. When I went into | 0:31:57 | 0:32:04
the Army in 1940, I had the pick of
the women because I could dance. | 0:32:04 | 0:32:09
What is your favourite style? The
quickstep. That requires a lot of | 0:32:09 | 0:32:13
energy. I have got energy. I used
to, anyway. Listening to the | 0:32:13 | 0:32:23
incredible stories of the veterans
and what they went through so long | 0:32:23 | 0:32:26
ago is a reminder of the carriage
and the bravery that is required of | 0:32:26 | 0:32:32
our Armed Forces both then and
today. What does Remembrance Day | 0:32:32 | 0:32:37
mean to you? Well it means
remembering, such a lot about the | 0:32:37 | 0:32:44
war and the people we sailed --
served with who are no longer | 0:32:44 | 0:32:48
around. I give Armistice Day the
dignity it deserves. It reminds me | 0:32:48 | 0:32:56
of all the people who had served
this country, who gave their lives | 0:32:56 | 0:33:01
for something they believed in. I
think of the people that I knew, and | 0:33:01 | 0:33:07
there were a lot of them, who never
came back. | 0:33:07 | 0:33:14
A big thank you to
the Chelsea Pensioners | 0:33:14 | 0:33:16
and Frankie. | 0:33:16 | 0:33:18
Right now, it's time to meet my next
guests of the night. | 0:33:18 | 0:33:21
At the weekend, they
brought us Sun, Sea | 0:33:21 | 0:33:23
and one sensational
Salsa - it's Gemma | 0:33:23 | 0:33:24
and Aljaz! | 0:33:24 | 0:33:34
I really loved the routine, I loved
what you were going for. It was only | 0:33:36 | 0:33:41
when you got into that first left
that it started to look laboured. | 0:33:41 | 0:33:46
Lovely rotation around at your
centre and great coordination with | 0:33:46 | 0:33:50
the upper half of your body.
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. | 0:33:50 | 0:33:56
Hello! It is lovely to see you.
Bruno said that your salsa was tasty | 0:34:12 | 0:34:19
and knotty and he said you have the
right amount of space in there, how | 0:34:19 | 0:34:24
was this seasoning for you? I
enjoyed it. Looking back, it felt | 0:34:24 | 0:34:30
better than it looked but I had such
a lab. When he is happy, I am happy. | 0:34:30 | 0:34:39
You do not often seem unhappy.
Viewers noticed that you were | 0:34:39 | 0:34:45
strapped up? We had quite a bad
injury throughout the week and then | 0:34:45 | 0:34:52
in the dress rehearsal, my ribs kind
of buckles, but I was fine after | 0:34:52 | 0:35:00
acupuncture and massage. I did not
even tell my mother until after the | 0:35:00 | 0:35:03
show. I knew she would worry. We did
not want it to be a reason why | 0:35:03 | 0:35:10
people did or did not vote us
through. We decided to just do it | 0:35:10 | 0:35:17
but that first left... I could
hardly breathe. | 0:35:17 | 0:35:20
APPLAUSE. You're such a brave girl.
Low five! Getting injuries like | 0:35:20 | 0:35:34
that... It is my fault! It is
frustrating, you have to do it so | 0:35:34 | 0:35:42
many times. That will be tough! You
have to do it so many times because | 0:35:42 | 0:35:57
you want the lifts to go right on
the night and you can only do that | 0:35:57 | 0:36:00
if you practice them and that first
lift, I have never done that lift | 0:36:00 | 0:36:07
before. You said you had done it
before! And now you have racked me. | 0:36:07 | 0:36:17
She can almost walk now. You told
Claudia it had gone really well, but | 0:36:17 | 0:36:24
you got one of your lowest scores,
what did you think of the five from | 0:36:24 | 0:36:31
Craig? If I am happy with the dance,
and we know how much we loved it in | 0:36:31 | 0:36:38
rehearsals and that experience, the
experience was lovely, it felt like | 0:36:38 | 0:36:43
a little party dance. At the end of
the day, there was some constructive | 0:36:43 | 0:36:49
criticism. I know I should not say
that, but I was not that bothered, | 0:36:49 | 0:36:54
because I loved the dance and we
were enjoying ourselves and that is | 0:36:54 | 0:36:58
the important thing.
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. Also, you got | 0:36:58 | 0:37:07
a message. | 0:37:07 | 0:37:09
Forget about the judges,
because your | 0:37:09 | 0:37:10
performance was noticed by actual
Rudimental themselves... | 0:37:10 | 0:37:12
Look @MissGAtkinson using our
song on @bbcstrictly 'last time we | 0:37:12 | 0:37:14
see her
she had two left feet & | 0:37:14 | 0:37:16
danced like she had a
big toe missing... | 0:37:16 | 0:37:20
That is so brilliant. Do you want to
explain? The last time I saw them | 0:37:20 | 0:37:27
was that a festival and I was
dancing in a wet field and I was not | 0:37:27 | 0:37:31
dancing well and when I said I was
dancing to their song, they said, | 0:37:31 | 0:37:37
please, do it well! I think they are
proud. | 0:37:37 | 0:37:40
It's time to leave
the Salsa behind because | 0:37:40 | 0:37:42
tomorrow night, you
are back in hold with | 0:37:42 | 0:37:44
a Viennese Waltz - dancing to this.
are back in hold with | 0:37:44 | 0:37:46
MUSIC: "You Don't Have To Say
You Love Me" - Dusty Springfield | 0:37:46 | 0:37:49
It is a winner! | 0:37:49 | 0:37:59
I am imagining you're not playing
this for laughs, this is romantic. | 0:38:09 | 0:38:16
Giovanni's that is one I
choreographed. A little bird told me | 0:38:16 | 0:38:24
that this might be your favourite so
far. I think it is because, it is | 0:38:24 | 0:38:30
weird: it is quicker than the other
ballrooms, the fact that it is done | 0:38:30 | 0:38:35
quicker, I like that. There is a lot
more tactical footwork. When we did | 0:38:35 | 0:38:43
it this afternoon, the whole way
around, he was shouting, flat, right | 0:38:43 | 0:38:48
in my ear. When you say flat, you
cannot go rise and fall. What does | 0:38:48 | 0:38:56
that mean? The tango is completely
flat, the foxtrot is more or less | 0:38:56 | 0:39:04
flat, but you do get a bit of rise
and fall. It happens as you go. If | 0:39:04 | 0:39:11
you try and put it in, all you do is
the rise and fall and you do not | 0:39:11 | 0:39:16
move a lot. If we think flat, and
the rise and fall happens a little | 0:39:16 | 0:39:22
bit... When we are watching you, I
will think that. | 0:39:22 | 0:39:27
There's an important
dance move coming | 0:39:27 | 0:39:29
up this week that
you have never faced | 0:39:29 | 0:39:30
before, Gemma - the Fleckerl. | 0:39:30 | 0:39:33
How has it gone. I think we have
done it about 15 times and it went | 0:39:33 | 0:39:40
right about seven or eight. It is
OK. I get one out of the way and | 0:39:40 | 0:39:48
think I have done it, but then you
have to go the other way. I lift you | 0:39:48 | 0:39:53
up all it bit, you cannot really
tell which one it is. Watch those | 0:39:53 | 0:40:00
ribs! Always. It looks stunning.
Gemma and Alijaz. | 0:40:00 | 0:40:04
CHEERING AND APPLAUSE. I could not
love them any more. We know what | 0:40:04 | 0:40:22
goes on in their training room. | 0:40:22 | 0:40:23
So, we know what goes
on in their training | 0:40:23 | 0:40:25
room - but how are
the rest of the gang | 0:40:25 | 0:40:28
getting on? | 0:40:28 | 0:40:29
It's time for a bumper-sized
Training Update! | 0:40:29 | 0:40:31
The salsa is quite a free dance and
you have to be quite loose. The more | 0:40:31 | 0:40:36
you relax, the better it is. I am
not really a disco babe. I am | 0:40:36 | 0:40:42
digging deep for this stance. At
this point in the competition, we | 0:40:42 | 0:40:49
cannot play safe. I am trying to get
everything really hard for Debbie. | 0:40:49 | 0:40:58
We are really pushing the boundaries
this week. I have got to be brave. | 0:40:58 | 0:41:06
My first tango and I love it. It is
powerful and bold and it is | 0:41:06 | 0:41:11
incredible. We found ourselves in
this position, if we get this right, | 0:41:11 | 0:41:17
we could be in Blackpool and that is
a mass of thought. Come on. We are | 0:41:17 | 0:41:23
going to go for it with everything
we have got. I'm trying my best. It | 0:41:23 | 0:41:31
will be a brilliant tango. We will
do it again. It will not go wrong on | 0:41:31 | 0:41:39
Saturday night? I am feeling quite a
lot of pressure with the foxtrot | 0:41:39 | 0:41:46
because I am dancing it with the
king of ballroom and he says it is | 0:41:46 | 0:41:51
his favourite ballroom dance. This
is nice. You want a pure movement | 0:41:51 | 0:41:57
across the floor, smooth, just
follow me, do not think too much. I | 0:41:57 | 0:42:01
still find it really hard to
remember choreographies. This one. | 0:42:01 | 0:42:07
We do it, I pick it up and then we
do something else and come back and | 0:42:07 | 0:42:11
I cannot remember it. Why are you
pushing me with the other arm? | 0:42:11 | 0:42:16
You're getting on my nerves. This
week we are dancing the Argentine | 0:42:16 | 0:42:21
tango. She is getting frustrated
with herself, she is putting a lot | 0:42:21 | 0:42:27
of pressure into the dance.
Sometimes when I tell my brain to do | 0:42:27 | 0:42:34
something, the opposite happens with
my legs. It is full of tricky and | 0:42:34 | 0:42:40
fast steps. One little mistake can
throw away the whole routine. I want | 0:42:40 | 0:42:46
to get it right, I want to do Gorka
proud and I think I need to relax | 0:42:46 | 0:42:51
more and go with the flow and let
Gorka lead me. It is a funny one, | 0:42:51 | 0:43:00
the Rumba. It is completely
different to any dance I have done. | 0:43:00 | 0:43:04
There is lots of hip and arm action.
It is sort of the same steps over | 0:43:04 | 0:43:11
and over but slightly different and
in different directions and that is | 0:43:11 | 0:43:14
hard to remember where you are.
Blackpool is within touching | 0:43:14 | 0:43:21
distance, so the heat has been
turned up. I am progressing quite | 0:43:21 | 0:43:25
slowly at the moment, but it is
going to be fine, he said hopefully! | 0:43:25 | 0:43:31
Right, time to head
back to Gethin now, | 0:43:31 | 0:43:33
who earlier today met
the man responsible | 0:43:33 | 0:43:34
for all of Strictly's VTs. | 0:43:34 | 0:43:36
Let's hope Geth makes the cut. | 0:43:36 | 0:43:41
It is that time on a Friday when I
wander around Elstree looking for | 0:43:41 | 0:43:46
the true unsung heroes of this
effort and I have found one in Robin | 0:43:46 | 0:43:50
Lee. Thank you for your time. I know
Friday is a very busy time. What is | 0:43:50 | 0:43:57
your title and what do you do on
Strictly Come Dancing? I am the | 0:43:57 | 0:44:02
series producer and my
responsibility is all of the DT | 0:44:02 | 0:44:06
content of the training they tease,
all of the pre-titles, teasers for | 0:44:06 | 0:44:10
the theme weeks, everything you say
that is not live in the studio is | 0:44:10 | 0:44:16
myself and my team. It is a huge
effort and a big team, how many are | 0:44:16 | 0:44:24
there few? About 42 people on the
team, we have got nine shooting | 0:44:24 | 0:44:30
teams of which, they are made up of
a runner and a shooting producer or | 0:44:30 | 0:44:36
director. We have got a forward
planning team, a wonderful | 0:44:36 | 0:44:44
production team, edit producers,
editors, there are a lot of people. | 0:44:44 | 0:44:47
You're all over the country with the
teams, filming dances and pros | 0:44:47 | 0:44:53
everywhere. It is quite a challenge
to cover everyone, particularly | 0:44:53 | 0:44:57
early in the series as there are
nine shooting teams and 15 | 0:44:57 | 0:45:01
celebrities. Susan is in Glasgow, we
have got Gemma who is in Manchester, | 0:45:01 | 0:45:10
Jonnie is in Loughborough, getting
around them can be challenging and | 0:45:10 | 0:45:12
making sure that we have got enough
training footage for every single | 0:45:12 | 0:45:19
couple. All the videos that we see
are bit of fun, but there is usually | 0:45:19 | 0:45:23
a theme, what is the theme going
into the show tomorrow night? This | 0:45:23 | 0:45:27
week it is slightly different from a
normal week for the VTs because next | 0:45:27 | 0:45:33
week as Blackpool, all the
celebrities really want to get to | 0:45:33 | 0:45:37
Blackpool because it is such an
iconic dance location for ballroom | 0:45:37 | 0:45:41
dancing. They are working flat out
in the training rooms and we are | 0:45:41 | 0:45:47
covering that and every single VT
will be focusing on the | 0:45:47 | 0:45:52
technicalities of the dance and the
challenges they are finding. It is | 0:45:52 | 0:45:56
usually quite emotional, the
celebrities here so much about the | 0:45:56 | 0:46:00
amazing ballroom in Blackpool. I
think Blackpool creates genuine | 0:46:00 | 0:46:06
emotion in the celebrities because
it is such a big deal to get there | 0:46:06 | 0:46:10
and there are possibility of not
making it is devastating for all of | 0:46:10 | 0:46:14
them. Do you ever have a tear in
your diet watching it? Who wouldn't? | 0:46:14 | 0:46:20
Thank you for your time. | 0:46:20 | 0:46:22
It's time to get
a bit emotional now, | 0:46:25 | 0:46:27
people. | 0:46:27 | 0:46:29
In just over 24 hours'
time, you - the loyal | 0:46:29 | 0:46:31
Strictly viewers -
will help decide which of | 0:46:31 | 0:46:33
our stars will be
going on the package | 0:46:33 | 0:46:35
holiday of a lifetime
to the Vegas of the | 0:46:35 | 0:46:37
North. | 0:46:37 | 0:46:38
Here's what it would mean to them... | 0:46:38 | 0:46:47
There is lots of reasons why
Blackpool is the special week. The | 0:46:47 | 0:46:51
biggest part of it is dancing on the
ballroom floor. The prose never stop | 0:46:51 | 0:46:56
talking about it so I want that
experience too! Blackpool is the | 0:46:56 | 0:47:01
pinnacle of Strictly, it is one of
those shows that everyone talks | 0:47:01 | 0:47:07
about. We just got to do this
weekend as best as possible. To get | 0:47:07 | 0:47:14
to Blackpool would be extraordinary.
It is possible. It is possible. To | 0:47:14 | 0:47:20
think that I could be there on that
dance floor... To be able to invite | 0:47:20 | 0:47:26
all of my family to Blackpool, to
watch myself and Aljaz dancing in | 0:47:26 | 0:47:31
the ballroom would be incredible.
Everybody knows how big a deal it | 0:47:31 | 0:47:37
is, whether you are in the
competition or watching at home, we | 0:47:37 | 0:47:41
are in touching distance of
Blackpool now. To be part of it | 0:47:41 | 0:47:44
would be an honour and a privilege
and I would love to make it. It | 0:47:44 | 0:47:51
would mean everything to get
Blackpool. For goodness' sake, that | 0:47:51 | 0:47:56
is like the Emerald city. It is an
unknown world of joy to get there. | 0:47:56 | 0:48:01
It would be unbelievable. We are
working so hard, and it is so | 0:48:01 | 0:48:11
iconic. It's what everybody dreams
of. It would be a dream come true. I | 0:48:11 | 0:48:19
never imagined getting this far in
the competition. To get you dancing | 0:48:19 | 0:48:23
in such an important place in the
dance world, it would be fantastic. | 0:48:23 | 0:48:29
To survive this week and make it to
Blackpool would be a dream. The fact | 0:48:29 | 0:48:33
that Blackpool is so close, being a
part of that and adding it to your | 0:48:33 | 0:48:39
journey would be a massive
achievement. All I can say is | 0:48:39 | 0:48:42
fingers crossed that we get there! | 0:48:42 | 0:48:48
Right, time now to talk
about the rest of | 0:48:48 | 0:48:50
our couples... | 0:48:50 | 0:48:51
They have come home to me -
it's the Friday Panel everyone! | 0:48:51 | 0:48:59
Can I say, my three-year-old son is
watching this, do you mind if I tell | 0:48:59 | 0:49:05
him to go to bed! Eddie, good night,
go to bed! | 0:49:05 | 0:49:12
Ruth Ann and on doing a Foxtrot to
the knife, what do you like most | 0:49:12 | 0:49:17
about this couple? Ruth and Anton,
they are Saturday night | 0:49:17 | 0:49:25
entertainment. I would love to be
Ruth in one-year's time. I would | 0:49:25 | 0:49:31
love to be her. She's an
extraordinary and graceful dancer, I | 0:49:31 | 0:49:37
don't think she knows how graceful
she is. I hope that she is watching! | 0:49:37 | 0:49:42
And she's a graceful person. A
lovely person with a really good | 0:49:42 | 0:49:47
heart. Recovering from that incident
last week... She just enjoyed it. | 0:49:47 | 0:49:53
Everyone at home, we were saying, we
hope you are not in pain over this. | 0:49:53 | 0:49:57
It was beautiful! Alexandra and
Gorka take on the first Argentine | 0:49:57 | 0:50:02
tango! Jeremy, are you excited to
see what these two have in store? | 0:50:02 | 0:50:11
Absolutely, Alexandra is a stunning
dancer. She is extraordinary. I | 0:50:11 | 0:50:15
think the one danger for her is that
because she is nailing it every | 0:50:15 | 0:50:20
week, people start to see it as a
bit efficient. They do not see any | 0:50:20 | 0:50:25
progression. That's one danger but
she is someone, when she comes out, | 0:50:25 | 0:50:29
you do not worry on the edge of your
sofa. You enjoy every performance | 0:50:29 | 0:50:35
from her. Mollie and AJ, they are
doing a Paso Doble. Sexy dance... It | 0:50:35 | 0:50:43
is quite a fierce dogs... A fierce
and sexy dance? In the movie the guy | 0:50:43 | 0:50:49
comes round and he says this is a
Paso Doble, but then they go no, | 0:50:49 | 0:50:56
this is a Paso Doble! We don't want
to see them in the bottom to again | 0:50:56 | 0:51:00
this week. I would love to see them
in Blackpool. Do they look safe? It | 0:51:00 | 0:51:07
can go two ways when you have had a
bad week, it can crush you or you | 0:51:07 | 0:51:11
come out fighting and really go for
it. I think they are a couple who | 0:51:11 | 0:51:15
will come out fighting and go for
it. I think they will nail it. The | 0:51:15 | 0:51:20
Paso Doble is AJ's favourite dance.
It was a dance where you use a lot | 0:51:20 | 0:51:28
of neck and head movement. Peter
Andre put on an enormous beard. It | 0:51:28 | 0:51:32
was quite a good way of dealing with
that. Are you saying that she should | 0:51:32 | 0:51:36
wear a beard? That would be
interesting! Jimmy | 0:51:36 | 0:51:38
-- Jamelia a couple of years ago was
inside in a row. I say to Mollie, | 0:51:46 | 0:51:52
not to worry about it. Jamelia was
quite enjoying it! Aljaz and Gemma, | 0:51:52 | 0:52:01
she took a fall and hurt her ribs
last week. Is this her comeback | 0:52:01 | 0:52:06
dance? Now, Gemma, as we have seen
today, she is a statuesque, muscular | 0:52:06 | 0:52:13
and very fit girl. She is tall and I
do not think she realises how | 0:52:13 | 0:52:18
graceful she is. Last week, you
know, with the left and everything, | 0:52:18 | 0:52:22
she had hurt her ribs that an
incredibly graceful dancer. I would | 0:52:22 | 0:52:26
be interested to see how she manages
the dance. Fantastic, that routine, | 0:52:26 | 0:52:31
if they get it right, they could go
through to Blackpool, could they | 0:52:31 | 0:52:35
make it? Absolutely. I did not
realise the thing with her ribs | 0:52:35 | 0:52:42
until you mentioned it which
explains the fumble over the left. | 0:52:42 | 0:52:44
They were both dreading it. The two
painful things about struck me come | 0:52:44 | 0:52:47
dancing, going out the week before
Blackpool and in week one. -- one of | 0:52:47 | 0:52:55
the painful things about Strictly.
Who should go home? They've all been | 0:52:55 | 0:53:04
brilliant... But I worry a little
bit for Ruth, there might get the | 0:53:04 | 0:53:12
feeling that Aston shouldn't have
gone home. I think Debbie McGee! No. | 0:53:12 | 0:53:19
I think possibly Mollie. And if
Alexandra has a dip so it doesn't do | 0:53:19 | 0:53:23
that perfectly, I think it's
possible she might not get the vote | 0:53:23 | 0:53:26
to survive from the audience... I
think that is what happened to | 0:53:26 | 0:53:31
Aston. He had an off moment with the
judges and the audience wasn't | 0:53:31 | 0:53:36
enough to bring them through. | 0:53:36 | 0:53:40
Let's hear it for our Friday panel! | 0:53:40 | 0:53:42
Right, for the final
time tonight let's head | 0:53:42 | 0:53:44
back to Strictly HQ
to see what happened | 0:53:44 | 0:53:46
when our Geth got up
close and personal | 0:53:46 | 0:53:48
with Brendan, Pasha and Neil. | 0:53:48 | 0:53:49
That guy has all the luck... | 0:53:49 | 0:53:51
I was wondering through the
corridors looking for some new | 0:53:51 | 0:53:53
threads for Blackpool but I've come
across an old friends, how was it | 0:53:53 | 0:53:56
going? You found us! No high-fiving,
an awkward start! Lovely too CE. | 0:53:56 | 0:54:05
There's a lot of nerves around the
place, have you noticed that? Some | 0:54:05 | 0:54:11
of them, I'm fine, how about your
partner? My partner is fine. You get | 0:54:11 | 0:54:16
to Blackpool, it is weird, they hype
Blackpool that so much in the lead | 0:54:16 | 0:54:20
up to the show. You will see a lot
of tension around today and | 0:54:20 | 0:54:23
tomorrow. It is a huge milestone.
The celebrities want to get there | 0:54:23 | 0:54:29
even though it is very cold! And
after Blackpool everybody starts to | 0:54:29 | 0:54:36
focus on the Christmas show! That is
next, the Christmas Special! Who | 0:54:36 | 0:54:40
have you got? Judy Murray. How is
she going? We are working on her... | 0:54:40 | 0:54:46
It is going to be a good surprise!
He's being kind, she's got great | 0:54:46 | 0:54:53
stuff going on with her feet and her
legs... Which are you doing? The Cha | 0:54:53 | 0:54:59
Cha Cha, charleston, Foxtrot,
then... But Niall can do it. You are | 0:54:59 | 0:55:10
dancing with Katie Derham, who was
with Anton. You have to go one | 0:55:10 | 0:55:15
better! She is a beautiful dancer.
It is nice to know that she has got | 0:55:15 | 0:55:21
more to learn from me then she did
with Anton! And Kimberley for me! It | 0:55:21 | 0:55:26
is like we've never not danced
together. It is five years. I think | 0:55:26 | 0:55:34
the boys are looking forward to
this. Happy Christmas lights. You | 0:55:34 | 0:55:39
both have Anton's partner. You are
well trained and ahead of the game. | 0:55:39 | 0:55:43
Final word from Pasha, back to you! | 0:55:43 | 0:55:48
That's all we have time for tonight! | 0:55:48 | 0:55:49
Thanks to my guests
and make sure you catch all | 0:55:49 | 0:55:52
the action with Tess
and Claud tomorrow | 0:55:52 | 0:55:53
night at 6.45 on BBC One. | 0:55:53 | 0:55:55
I'll be back on Monday with the next
couple to leave the competition. | 0:55:55 | 0:55:58
But now, singing us
out with their brand | 0:55:58 | 0:56:00
new single 'S.O.S.', it's The Corrs! | 0:56:00 | 0:56:05
# There's pain on the border as far
as the eyes can't see | 0:56:10 | 0:56:14
# And hell's getting busy
while we're in the cheap seats | 0:56:14 | 0:56:18
# My girl in a tutu,
