From London, this is It Takes Two.
Please welcome your host, Zoe Ball! | 0:00:53 | 0:00:57
APPLAUSE | 0:00:57 | 0:00:59
Hello and welcome to It Takes Two! | 0:00:59 | 0:01:00
We've got a chock-a-block show
in store for you tonight, | 0:01:00 | 0:01:03
so let's head straight to the green
room and find out | 0:01:03 | 0:01:05
who's on the line-up. | 0:01:05 | 0:01:08
Make it rain for our "divinely
decadent and slightly | 0:01:08 | 0:01:10
twisted" semi-finalists -
it's Joe and Katya! | 0:01:10 | 0:01:20
So good, that samba. | 0:01:20 | 0:01:21
Joining them, a lady more
than worth her weight in gold. | 0:01:21 | 0:01:24
Taking on tonight's Pro Challenge,
it's Karen Clifton! | 0:01:24 | 0:01:26
A pretty glam line-up,
I think we can all agree, | 0:01:26 | 0:01:28
but before we talk to them I think
we can squeeze in | 0:01:28 | 0:01:31
a bit more sparkle. | 0:01:31 | 0:01:32
Let's put on the glitz! | 0:01:32 | 0:01:36
I love that music. | 0:01:51 | 0:01:52
Give it up for Vicky Gill! | 0:01:52 | 0:01:56
Hello, gorgeous. Give us a shape of
your boots. Oh, look at those! The | 0:01:56 | 0:02:03
critics have had their say and it's
official, musicals week was a smash. | 0:02:03 | 0:02:09
Well done. To everybody involved.
Any last minute dramas or costume | 0:02:09 | 0:02:15
changes or moments for you? No
dramas but lots of change we are | 0:02:15 | 0:02:18
always down to the wire. For
Giovanni's whiskered trousers were | 0:02:18 | 0:02:23
being painted an hour before he went
on, and he was really calm, he was | 0:02:23 | 0:02:28
like, OK. -- waistcoat trousers.
Yeah, don't touch anything, don't | 0:02:28 | 0:02:34
get too close. So much love for
patio's outfit last week. I think | 0:02:34 | 0:02:40
it's one of my favourites of the
series. Amazing. -- for Katya's | 0:02:40 | 0:02:48
outfit. Sometimes things come
together, the detailing, the styling | 0:02:48 | 0:02:53
on both of them really worked. We
tried to get the flapper feel | 0:02:53 | 0:02:56
through the site of the dress
because of the musical we were | 0:02:56 | 0:03:01
representing, but then we put the
feather on the hem to get that samba | 0:03:01 | 0:03:05
feel. It all fell into place. And
Joe looked amazing. Now we are at | 0:03:05 | 0:03:12
the semifinal, two dances. Is it any
easier designing for the couples now | 0:03:12 | 0:03:15
you know them quite well and how
they work as dancers? We know them | 0:03:15 | 0:03:24
and designing for them is easier. We
are all in at 7am, doing early | 0:03:24 | 0:03:28
fittings, because there are two
dances. But it's still the same. Who | 0:03:28 | 0:03:33
knows, when they pop their frock on
on Friday morning, let's see. | 0:03:33 | 0:03:38
Amazing or back to the drawing
board! Let's have a look at some | 0:03:38 | 0:03:42
pictures from the weekend. This is
Alexandra, oh, Viennese waltz, | 0:03:42 | 0:03:49
dancing to everybody hurts, the teen
arena version. Have you gone | 0:03:49 | 0:03:52
traditional or are you mixing it up?
We are mixing it up, pick up a bit | 0:03:52 | 0:04:00
is traditional, with a border and a
lattice embellishment detail, and | 0:04:00 | 0:04:04
then a Chevron intelligent coming
through in the dress. We've for the | 0:04:04 | 0:04:10
base and a 16 panel and, because it
stretches, it's moving all the time. | 0:04:10 | 0:04:14
This was to give Ash, who does most
of the abolishment, a base to be | 0:04:14 | 0:04:21
able to do the Chevron detail
through the top of the dress, but I | 0:04:21 | 0:04:26
think the hemline will be
traditional. We are hoping to go for | 0:04:26 | 0:04:30
a feather hemline but I left a bit
of cream. That a lot of detailing. I | 0:04:30 | 0:04:37
think we are looking at ten packets
per frock, so that's 1144 in total. | 0:04:37 | 0:04:43
It's going to be a good night --
long night. Gemma, dancing a rumba | 0:04:43 | 0:04:50
Byker labyrinth. A fitted body
converts, this will be with lots of | 0:04:50 | 0:04:58
crystals, in silver. We want a
silver look to the overall dress but | 0:04:58 | 0:05:05
it's on a pale pink base. We've got
a feather hem. It may go halfway and | 0:05:05 | 0:05:12
it may singe in at the waist or it
might all go -- go all the way in. | 0:05:12 | 0:05:19
We want softness for the rumba but
not too big and floaty for Gemma. | 0:05:19 | 0:05:23
Incredible figure. I do believe this
is the foxtrot dress, stunning. | 0:05:23 | 0:05:33
Platinum with nude, a nice idea for
Debbie. We spoke about it with the | 0:05:33 | 0:05:40
Argentine tango. I don't think that
Debbie sits solid black, but we felt | 0:05:40 | 0:05:44
that black was needed this week
because we needed a neutral base. | 0:05:44 | 0:05:48
We've got lots of silver and gold so
we were trying to spread that | 0:05:48 | 0:05:52
neutral base across. We always want
some colour, so she's got a | 0:05:52 | 0:05:58
colourful... I wasn't expecting
that! I say! I am sure, when she is | 0:05:58 | 0:06:04
making the skirt work, we'll be
seeing a lot of that on Saturday. | 0:06:04 | 0:06:10
Across here, Tom Mollie, and this is
her standard dress. Dancing to | 0:06:10 | 0:06:15
Shakira. She'll get her hips going.
How was this going to complement | 0:06:15 | 0:06:21
this dance for her? This looks like
two dresses at the moment because | 0:06:21 | 0:06:25
we're not sure if we are going with
a full hem and this detail, which | 0:06:25 | 0:06:28
will bring some lemon up into the
dress, or whether we will stick with | 0:06:28 | 0:06:33
the gold. You see on Saturday. I
think we'll probably go with the | 0:06:33 | 0:06:39
gold was at the moment, gold on the
skirt, so that we are ready to be | 0:06:39 | 0:06:43
able to alter the hemline or drop
it. Higher or lower? It's a bit of a | 0:06:43 | 0:06:49
mixed bag on the audience. How many
stones have you got? If so many. | 0:06:49 | 0:06:58
We've got 30s, 20s, 16s and 12s
through the dress. They shine really | 0:06:58 | 0:07:04
well. Trying to keep this one very
gold and then with Debbie we've got | 0:07:04 | 0:07:10
gold and shadow. Everybody asks for
similar colours and tones but I'm | 0:07:10 | 0:07:16
trying to meet everybody's wishes.
Like a fairy godmother. Joe, two | 0:07:16 | 0:07:25
suits, American Smooth and Argentine
tango. Lots of tailoring, he will | 0:07:25 | 0:07:27
look really suave as normal, and
we've done some nice detail for | 0:07:27 | 0:07:31
tomorrow. Gorgeous Joe! Give our
love to everyone, especially Ash, | 0:07:31 | 0:07:40
big round of applause for him. Give
it up for Vicky Gill! | 0:07:40 | 0:07:43
APPLAUSE | 0:07:43 | 0:07:45
Now, the costumes are almost ready
but what about our couples? | 0:07:45 | 0:07:48
With two dances to learn, they
certainly have their work cut out. | 0:07:48 | 0:07:50
Let's take a look
at how Gemma and Aljaz | 0:07:50 | 0:07:53
and Mollie and AJ are getting along. | 0:07:53 | 0:07:55
I'm nervous about everything in the
tango, the only thing that makes me | 0:08:00 | 0:08:06
feel safe in the dance is that I'm
doing it with Aljaz. The first thing | 0:08:06 | 0:08:14
that makes a good tango is perfect
posture. Timing is extremely | 0:08:14 | 0:08:21
important and staying in character.
The steps are in my head. Not quite | 0:08:21 | 0:08:28
coming out of my feet yet, but I
just hope I can remember them. I've | 0:08:28 | 0:08:36
got to dances this week and the
first one we are focusing on is the | 0:08:36 | 0:08:41
waltz, which feels so romantic. Some
parts need improving in some parts | 0:08:41 | 0:08:47
are kind of there. Very nice. We are
going to have to make sure that our | 0:08:47 | 0:08:52
rise and fall is perfect, because
any little niggle is going to | 0:08:52 | 0:08:56
notice. Two completely new dances
and I'm trying to just work on one | 0:08:56 | 0:09:03
thing at a time, but all the
information at this point is quite | 0:09:03 | 0:09:05
overwhelming. Yes! | 0:09:05 | 0:09:08
Good work, guys! | 0:09:10 | 0:09:11
Right, time now for
the world's ultimate dance | 0:09:11 | 0:09:13
move-related challenge. | 0:09:13 | 0:09:15
Many have tried, but failed. | 0:09:15 | 0:09:16
It's Pro Challenge time! | 0:09:16 | 0:09:20
This year's Strictly Pro Challenge
is going back in time to the roaring | 0:09:27 | 0:09:31
20s, where our crews will attempt to
set a Guinness world record title | 0:09:31 | 0:09:36
for the most Charleston swivel steps
in 30 seconds. For it to qualify, | 0:09:36 | 0:09:39
they have to complete one forward
and one backward step. If there is | 0:09:39 | 0:09:45
no swivel in the feet and ankles,
step will be disqualified. The | 0:09:45 | 0:09:51
challenge will be the hardest the
pros have ever faced, but only one | 0:09:51 | 0:09:55
person can claim the title. It's
these Strictly Pro Challenge 2017. | 0:09:55 | 0:10:00
Please welcome our next contender. | 0:10:00 | 0:10:01
She always wears odd socks,
has a cat named Samba and believes | 0:10:01 | 0:10:04
getting her nails done
is a necessity, not a luxury. | 0:10:04 | 0:10:06
A girl after my own heart. | 0:10:06 | 0:10:08
It's hot lips herself,
Karen Clifton! | 0:10:08 | 0:10:11
APPLAUSE | 0:10:12 | 0:10:16
Mind the robot! Karen, AKA the OG,
original gangster, I had to look it | 0:10:24 | 0:10:31
up, of the Pro Challenge. You have
competed more times than any other | 0:10:31 | 0:10:35
female pro Foster does that make it
easier or nerve-racking? It makes me | 0:10:35 | 0:10:40
feel really old. Or experienced, I
guess. I guess it's a good thing. | 0:10:40 | 0:10:47
But I've probably slowed down over
the years. We'll find out. You won | 0:10:47 | 0:10:54
2014's challenge with Aljaz. Can you
do it again? Yeah, it's much easier | 0:10:54 | 0:10:59
with a partner. You never know.
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, at the | 0:10:59 | 0:11:04
last time you did a Charleston was
with Simon Rimmer in week five and | 0:11:04 | 0:11:09
you found yourselves in the bottom
two. How is your swivel? It's one of | 0:11:09 | 0:11:16
my favourite dances, I love the
Charleston, I practised the swivel | 0:11:16 | 0:11:19
every night, I do a swivel in my
sleep, I wake up and I do them, so | 0:11:19 | 0:11:23
it's an important thing for
everybody to do a swivel. You should | 0:11:23 | 0:11:26
be doing it right now, everybody.
Get up! Let's look at the Leader | 0:11:26 | 0:11:31
Board. Languishing at the bottom, we
have Brendan, and sitting pretty at | 0:11:31 | 0:11:37
the top, it's Katya, bathing in the
glory. Can you end her reign at the | 0:11:37 | 0:11:46
top? Oh, I don't think... I mean,
she's young and beautiful. Plus | 0:11:46 | 0:11:52
she's very quick. Crossing my
fingers. Lets waste no more time and | 0:11:52 | 0:12:00
find out how hot lips got on. Here
we go. Last year I came so close, I | 0:12:00 | 0:12:08
was one way, but this year, I'm in
it to win it. Hello, Karen, welcome | 0:12:08 | 0:12:18
to the Strictly Pro Challenge. How
are you feeling? Good, I love the | 0:12:18 | 0:12:23
Charleston so I'm excited. You have
done this challenge five times, more | 0:12:23 | 0:12:29
than any other female. Do you think
it keeps you an advantage? Maybe, I | 0:12:29 | 0:12:33
feel at home here, so that's good.
We can't wait to see your attempt so | 0:12:33 | 0:12:39
please take your position on the
dance floor. Fix my hair, doesn't | 0:12:39 | 0:12:45
look good? Looking good. It's
gorgeous. For your official attempt, | 0:12:45 | 0:12:51
starting in three, two, one, though. | 0:12:51 | 0:12:54
15 seconds. Come on, Karen, keep
going. That's it, keep it light. | 0:13:07 | 0:13:18
Five, four, three, two, one, stop.
Wow, that was good! Well done. That | 0:13:18 | 0:13:28
was a good attempt, really good. By
legs have just turned like this. I | 0:13:28 | 0:13:34
loved your face, it was like this
all the way through. It was all on | 0:13:34 | 0:13:40
the front foot and your technique is
excellent because it's really tight, | 0:13:40 | 0:13:43
not too much space between your
feet. Really good. Thank you so | 0:13:43 | 0:13:47
much. Well done. I love the
Charleston and I got great feedback | 0:13:47 | 0:13:55
from the judges, so it was great. I
had a blast and I want to do it over | 0:13:55 | 0:13:58
and over again.
CHEERING | 0:13:58 | 0:14:02
Well done, Karen! You were smiling
all the way through. What were you | 0:14:02 | 0:14:10
thinking about? How many chicken
nuggets I did eat. Always food with | 0:14:10 | 0:14:13
this woman. Each of the
professionals made their | 0:14:13 | 0:14:16
announcement and the footage was
watched back by the adjudicators in | 0:14:16 | 0:14:20
slow motion to verify every swivel
to make sure they were all accurate. | 0:14:20 | 0:14:25
How do you think you got on? Was the
golden hat lucky? I hope so and I | 0:14:25 | 0:14:33
had a golden skirt on today so I'm
hoping... Carried on that theme. The | 0:14:33 | 0:14:40
great Bill Deemer was completely
blown away, he was saying bravo, he | 0:14:40 | 0:14:43
was so enamoured. I can tell you
now, Karen, you had zero steps | 0:14:43 | 0:14:48
disqualified.
CHEERING | 0:14:48 | 0:14:52
They were all perfect, which is the
same as current leader Katya over | 0:14:52 | 0:14:58
there. This is getting tense! Katya,
come in and join us. Here she comes. | 0:14:58 | 0:15:15
Best friends, that's what it's all
about. Katya, you are top of the | 0:15:15 | 0:15:21
Leader Board. You have been top of
the Leader Board for over a week, | 0:15:21 | 0:15:29
Katya. The score to beat is 19.
Karen, I can reveal in 30 seconds, | 0:15:29 | 0:15:36
you completed... | 0:15:36 | 0:15:46
21 swivels. Top of the Leader Board.
Top of the Leader Board. Katya is | 0:15:54 | 0:16:01
smiling but she is devastated. I am
sorry, I love you. Katya, what do | 0:16:01 | 0:16:11
you think? You are the best. You owe
me chicken nuggets. Karen, can | 0:16:11 | 0:16:20
anyone beat you? Yes, anyone who
hasn't been on cant beat me. We have | 0:16:20 | 0:16:30
some great legs. All of the pros are
very quick. Obviously not the one | 0:16:30 | 0:16:36
under me. Whoever is coming up next,
they will challenge me. I am sorry, | 0:16:36 | 0:16:45
I love you. The pro challenge will
reach its epic inclusion. Until | 0:16:45 | 0:16:53
then, give it up for Katya and the
swivel plastic, Karen. Love those | 0:16:53 | 0:17:00
girls.
APPLAUSE | 0:17:00 | 0:17:03
Right, no rest for the
wicked, it's time to | 0:17:03 | 0:17:05
head back to the training room! | 0:17:05 | 0:17:06
Let's see Alexandra and Gorka
and Debbie and Giovanni | 0:17:06 | 0:17:09
sweat it out as they prepare
for the weekend's semi finals. | 0:17:09 | 0:17:12
That's it, it's over between them.
It is a beautiful dance and if Gorka | 0:17:12 | 0:17:18
and I can make sure we are in our
own little bubble again, it can | 0:17:18 | 0:17:22
work. We did the wall 's on the
first week, and it will help her. To | 0:17:22 | 0:17:35
allow the judges, I have to show I
can do all the turns and not fall | 0:17:35 | 0:17:39
out of place. It is a sophisticated
and soft, Alexandra. The jive is a | 0:17:39 | 0:17:52
fast dance, it is about kicks and
clicks. Stamina has been one of the | 0:17:52 | 0:17:58
most difficult problems for Debbie.
It is faster. I am glad I didn't get | 0:17:58 | 0:18:05
the jive in the first week because I
wouldn't have had the energy. My | 0:18:05 | 0:18:12
fitness has gone up since then but I
am still struggling. Jive is my | 0:18:12 | 0:18:17
favourite dance, so we will make
sure it will be fine. It's going to | 0:18:17 | 0:18:26
be one of the best semifinals we
have ever had. | 0:18:26 | 0:18:28
Time now for another
Strictly exclusive. | 0:18:28 | 0:18:30
We sent our cameras
behind the scenes to this | 0:18:30 | 0:18:32
weeks group rehearsal. | 0:18:32 | 0:18:33
It's an intriguing theme this
week, let's take a look. | 0:18:33 | 0:18:38
Have you heard, this week we are
changing things and bringing | 0:18:38 | 0:18:42
different styles to the Group Dance.
Really. I hope it is Morris dancing, | 0:18:42 | 0:18:49
I love Morris dancing. It is not
Morris dancing but we do have break | 0:18:49 | 0:18:54
dancers joining us. Let's get
rehearsals going. The idea behind | 0:18:54 | 0:19:04
the Group Dance was to take Indy
Harper and breaking and find a way | 0:19:04 | 0:19:10
to blend them together. I am looking
forward to seeing us because this | 0:19:10 | 0:19:15
has never been done before. This was
from New York in the 1920s. It is a | 0:19:15 | 0:19:21
very bent posture. Breaking started
in New York in the early 70s. A lot | 0:19:21 | 0:19:31
of the influences have come from
Lindy hop. There is no ballroom or | 0:19:31 | 0:19:37
Latin and they have been game to
learn new things. The most | 0:19:37 | 0:19:41
challenging part of the dance will
be the tricks. The specialist dances | 0:19:41 | 0:19:48
are top of their game. When they are
free styling, you just stand there | 0:19:48 | 0:19:54
and watch them. I held the waste of
my partner and then flip over her | 0:19:54 | 0:19:59
shoulder. When you are doing Lindy
hop, you are connected with your | 0:19:59 | 0:20:06
partner. But with this, you are
connected with everybody at once. | 0:20:06 | 0:20:10
Anything can happen. If you enjoyed
watching the rehearsal, make sure | 0:20:10 | 0:20:17
you hop back to meet us this
weekend. | 0:20:17 | 0:20:24
Thanks, Chloe. | 0:20:24 | 0:20:26
Now, what's the point
of sitting alone in | 0:20:26 | 0:20:28
your room, come hear the music play! | 0:20:28 | 0:20:30
Life was certainly
a cabaret for these old | 0:20:30 | 0:20:32
chums at the weekend -
it's Joe and Katya! | 0:20:32 | 0:20:40
The virally decadent and slightly
twisted, it couldn't have been | 0:20:47 | 0:20:50
better than that. Flexibility in
those wonderful shadow rolls, islet | 0:20:50 | 0:20:58
of them. It was incredible. | 0:20:58 | 0:21:10
It's Joe and Katya, everyone! | 0:21:10 | 0:21:11
Liza Minnelli would be proud,
what a sensational Samba! | 0:21:11 | 0:21:13
Are you still on a high from it? | 0:21:13 | 0:21:17
We really are, we really enjoyed it
and we were chatting to each other | 0:21:17 | 0:21:24
throughout, which is a good sign. In
rehearsals, it was going well and | 0:21:24 | 0:21:28
then you get into the studio and the
costume comes together that it just | 0:21:28 | 0:21:33
really bolsters you and give you a
bit of energy. It goes up another | 0:21:33 | 0:21:36
level. Then you hear the fantastic
music and it carries you. | 0:21:36 | 0:21:46
Statistically, the highest scoring
samba of the series. Craig admitted | 0:21:46 | 0:21:52
he was ready for this samba to fail.
He was wanting to hate it. He loved | 0:21:52 | 0:22:01
it. Everyone online thought it was
going to be awful. Really? Some | 0:22:01 | 0:22:11
people said it was risky, but where
you always confident it would work? | 0:22:11 | 0:22:17
I am always confident this one does.
I knew it would be special. People | 0:22:17 | 0:22:22
are not sure it was going to work,
because it is like a charleston, if | 0:22:22 | 0:22:28
you listen to it. But I come to
everything with an open mind and | 0:22:28 | 0:22:32
that is what helps me. I saw
straightaway, it was going to be | 0:22:32 | 0:22:38
amazing so coming in with that
positivity when I came into | 0:22:38 | 0:22:44
choreographed. You are my life
coach. She didn't know what fatigue | 0:22:44 | 0:22:54
it meant. I never had it, so it
doesn't exist. Katya, what I am | 0:22:54 | 0:23:03
right now, that is what fatigue is.
In the movie, what do you put a | 0:23:03 | 0:23:10
samba spent on something like that?
I went with the music, it is great, | 0:23:10 | 0:23:17
it changes the character constantly.
I did give you a few moments of | 0:23:17 | 0:23:27
freedom and I said you can do your
thing. Which was the bit where you | 0:23:27 | 0:23:33
did what you liked? One step was
mine, I will always have that. It is | 0:23:33 | 0:23:44
so much fun, if you listen to the
music, I think it could be a great | 0:23:44 | 0:23:49
samba role. The basic things that
the character onto it and I knew he | 0:23:49 | 0:23:53
was going to love it. There you are,
in your element. He was talking | 0:23:53 | 0:24:01
German to me. I have learnt some
German. I love you, I hate shoe! | 0:24:01 | 0:24:19
This is fun, this show today. How
difficult is it to sell the | 0:24:19 | 0:24:24
character and perfect the technique?
It just merged. It wasn't like that | 0:24:24 | 0:24:28
in the beginning. It always is, on
Monday, you don't want anyone to see | 0:24:28 | 0:24:35
it at all. When I choreographed and
then play with the nodes in and out, | 0:24:35 | 0:24:41
it came naturally. He had no idea. I
said now, you have to introduce it | 0:24:41 | 0:24:51
and it was going everywhere. It
wasn't easy but you brought the next | 0:24:51 | 0:24:58
level to it on Saturday. It was so
good. Don't get used to it. We loved | 0:24:58 | 0:25:08
you going to your old school.
Wonderful. Are you feeling your | 0:25:08 | 0:25:15
fellow Scots support? Scottish
people like to get behind their own | 0:25:15 | 0:25:20
but you don't get to see the people
who love the show and watching it so | 0:25:20 | 0:25:25
going up there and getting to meet
them and hearing how much they | 0:25:25 | 0:25:29
enjoyed it, it gives you more energy
and enthusiasm get through. | 0:25:29 | 0:25:34
Well they should be very
proud of you indeed. | 0:25:34 | 0:25:37
Our Strictly stat department have
been totting up scores to find out | 0:25:37 | 0:25:39
who is the most successful
Scottish Strictly contestant ever. | 0:25:39 | 0:25:45
Let's see how you rate. | 0:25:45 | 0:25:52
Third is Judy Murray, she left
in week 8 with Anton Du Beke. | 0:25:52 | 0:25:57
Joint second it's Carol Smillie,
Kenny Logan and Susan Calman. | 0:25:57 | 0:26:03
What a trio! | 0:26:03 | 0:26:07
They all left in week 9. | 0:26:07 | 0:26:09
Which means you've probably
guessed - in first place, | 0:26:09 | 0:26:11
it's you, Joe McFadden! | 0:26:11 | 0:26:19
You are the first Scot to make it to
the semifinal. But you are also the | 0:26:19 | 0:26:24
only boy left in the competition.
That feels good. It is great the | 0:26:24 | 0:26:30
girls are doing well, they are all
brilliant and it is about time the | 0:26:30 | 0:26:35
girls redressed the balance. We
shall see. | 0:26:35 | 0:26:38
Well you have two
biggies, The Argentine | 0:26:38 | 0:26:40
Tango and the American Smooth. | 0:26:40 | 0:26:41
Let's start with
the Argentine Tango. | 0:26:41 | 0:26:43
You're dancing to this... | 0:26:43 | 0:26:50
Human by Rag And Bone Man. How are
you feeling? I am feeling very | 0:26:50 | 0:26:57
human. I am only human, she is
superhuman. It feels like the right | 0:26:57 | 0:27:03
dance because it is the story of me
being here. I am definitely fallible | 0:27:03 | 0:27:09
and it seems right. Absolutely.
Katya, pleased how it is going? It | 0:27:09 | 0:27:19
is going well. It has been going
well all week. He is going | 0:27:19 | 0:27:27
absolutely bonkers. I am just happy
I am still here, it is hard to be | 0:27:27 | 0:27:32
down when I am still here. The
American Smooth as well. What is | 0:27:32 | 0:27:39
this song about? Random choice. You
have met Mrs Jones. How excited are | 0:27:39 | 0:27:48
you to dance this dance with her?
You know the dance, it is like the | 0:27:48 | 0:27:56
great old movies, Singing In The
Rain. It feels like a nice one. | 0:27:56 | 0:28:05
Loads of character. Some familiar
steps. Especially when you have to | 0:28:05 | 0:28:14
pick up two. Katya, any great words
of motivation? Don't let the | 0:28:14 | 0:28:22
shoulder monster come out. We were
in rehearsal yesterday and it was | 0:28:22 | 0:28:32
the biggest reaction and we laughed
for about an hour. Good luck to you | 0:28:32 | 0:28:40
both, Joel and Katya. | 0:28:40 | 0:28:43
That's all we've got
time for tonight. | 0:28:43 | 0:28:44
a huge thanks to all my guests. | 0:28:44 | 0:28:46
I'm back tomorrow at 6.00
for an hour-long It Takes Two! | 0:28:46 | 0:28:49
I'll be catching up with Debbie
and Giovanni and Gemma and Aljaz. | 0:28:49 | 0:28:52
On the Friday panel it's
Lisa Snowden, Rick Edwards and it's | 0:28:52 | 0:28:54
the return of the Mac,
Danny Mac is here! | 0:28:54 | 0:28:56
All that plus Tom
Chaplin sings live. | 0:28:56 | 0:28:58
Until then, Goodnight! | 0:28:58 | 0:29:03 |
