the quiz show where being number one is everything,

and nice guys finish last.

All of our players will be trying to work their way to the top

and get their hands on the thousands of pounds on offer today.

Let's meet today's players.

Hi. I'm Monica. I'm a retired teacher from Epping.

I'm Matt, a golf professional from Southampton.

I'm Trey, a finance student from Bradford.

I'm Claire, a police officer from Coventry.

And I'm Chris, an accounts manager from Derby.

OK. The way the game works is simple.

Each of you has an equal chance to become The Boss,

and being The Boss means you get to manage the workforce

as best you can to increase the prize fund.

But if anyone feels that they can do better,

that they want to knock The Boss out of the game,

they can launch a leadership challenge.

Only by surviving until the end of the show

can you walk away with the cash.

It's a bit like a survival challenge with Bear Grylls

without the unsavoury refreshments.

So, we need our first Boss of the show.

To decide who that is, we're going to see what you're made of.

You'll face 90 seconds of quick-fire questions.

The person who answers the most correctly

will have a very important decision to make.

and to have the chance to walk away with that money,

all you need to do is still be right here at the end of the show.

You'll now face your Boss's Questions.

The better you do, the more money you could win.

You'll have to answer five questions,

and for every one that you get right,

you'll move up one place on the money ladder.

A wrong answer will see you move back down again.

Play well, and all of you could be playing for £100 a question,

but a tough round could see you playing for just £10.
