Episode 17 The Boss

Hello. I'm Susan Calman, and welcome to The Boss,

the quiz show where being number one is everything,

and nice guys finish last.

All of our players will be trying to work their way to the top

and get their hands on the thousands of pounds on offer today.

Let's meet today's players.

Hello, I'm Debbie, an account manager from Devon.

I'm Terry, a retired police officer from Suffolk.

I'm Carol, a catering manager from Newport.

I'm Craig, and I'm a carer from Manchester.

And I'm Cleo, a hula hooping instructor from Chester.

OK. The way the game works is simple.

Each of you has an equal chance to become the Boss,

and being the Boss means you get to manage the workforce

as best you can to increase the prize fund,

but if anyone feels they can do better

and wants to knock the Boss out of the game,

they can launch a Leadership Challenge.

Only by surviving until the end of the show

can you walk away with the cash.

It's a bit like a family Christmas -

everyone's happy until the board games come out,

and it all kicks off...

at least in my house.

So, we need our first Boss on the show.

To decide who that is, we're going to see what you're made of.

You'll face 90 seconds of quickfire questions.

The person who answers the most correctly

will have a very important decision to make.
