Here are the nine contestants on today's show.

Only one will take home prize money of up to £10,000.

The rest will leave with nothing as one by one,

they're voted off as the weakest link.

Any of the nine people in the studio here today

could win up to £10,000.

They don't know each other.

However, if they want the money, they'll have to work as a team.

The rules - in each round the aim is to get enough questions right

to reach the £1,000 target within the time limit.

The fastest way is to create

a chain of nine answers, but get the question wrong

and you lose all the money.

But if you say "bank" before the question is asked,

the money is safe.

However, you start a new chain from scratch.

Only banked money can be taken forward.

In the first round, there are three minutes on the clock.
