Of the nine people preparing for the show,

only one takes home the prize money of up to £10,000.

The others get nothing

after their team-mates vote them the weakest link.

They don't know each other, but if they want the money

they have to work as a team.

as, round by round, we lose the player voted the weakest link.

The aim is to answer enough questions correctly

to reach £1000 within the time limit.

The fastest way is to create a chain

of nine correct answers.

A wrong answer breaks the chain

and you lose all the money in that chain.

Say "bank" before the question is asked and the money is safe.

But you start a new chain from scratch.

Only money that has been banked

can be taken forward.
