Of the nine contestants on today's show

only one will take home prize money of up to £10,000.

The rest will leave with nothing

as one by one they are voted off as the weakest link.

Any of the nine people in the studio here today

could win up to £10,000.

They don't know each other,

however, if they want the money, they'll have to work as a team.

But eight of them will leave with nothing

as round by round we lose the player voted the weakest link.

The fastest way is to create a chain

of nine correct answers.

If you get one wrong, you lose all the money.

But if you say "bank" before the question is asked, the money is safe.

only money that has been banked can be taken forward.
